Fantastic experience: My Experience: My appointment was at 9am got there like 8:40am, no parking available I had to park at Aldi next door and walked over. Got inside it was kind of packed, went to get examined, then discussed cost and treatment. Was not expecting that I would need additional work done because I had my dental work done prior. But I went ahead and agree to the unexpected dental work because I had been feeling discomfort once or twice which lead me to believe soon it will become a problem. Paid the remaining balance and was taken to get a cleaning, then my filling and next I was ready for my veneers. So I was told I would have to get my teeth shaved. I was not happy with that because I was told I wouldn’t have to. Eric was very nice, I was sleep while he was doing my veneers. He kept saying open lol but it didn’t seem as tho he was getting frustrated or anything. He advised me to get Hollywood white because the color changes over time. I think they are too white but they are growing on me. Sandra is a sweetheart, all I kept hearing was Sandra, Sandra, Sandra. Overall I like my teeth I just wasn’t expecting to get my teeth shaved. Whole process took 6-7hours.

Positive experience: Did composite veneers, they look good. I asked for natural look. What I didn’t like was that the Dr was looking on his phone a lot and even pick up a call during the process , very unprofessional if you ask me! (ojo) **Price changes from virtual consult to actual day exam. Something they don’t mention, which I think is unfair to bomb you like that the same day, especially when your flying in internationally! Also, the disorganization they have with each other is crazy, the receptionist didn’t find my appointment, there were mad disappointed customers as well when I entered. (Man there were signs and I ignored them, Lol) My scheduled appointment was moved for the next day. They only cleaned my mouth that day that I arrived which I never understood why the delay. Also, the wait time was tense too. Additionally, about the transportation and hotel stays was a mess, they didn’t know where to put me and I got stuck in an area where I needed to order delivery cause there was nothing walking distance and the Ubers omg painful for my pocket. I am also trying to call them cause I forgot to ask what I should take for the pain after the anesthesia wares off and no one picks up, once the money is paid, the follow-up care becomes an afterthought!!!! Omg the pain I say this with sincerity and disappointment: if your smile doesn’t need major work, think twice. The stress of dealing with fragile results and long delays is not worth it.

Negative experience: The work they do initially is impressive, no doubt. I was so confident in the results that I recommended several people. But I can no longer stand behind that recommendation. The major issue isn’t the work—it’s the lack of support in maintaining it. A perfect smile should not come with the ongoing stress of dealing with chipped or cracked teeth and no access to timely repairs. After nearly three years, my front tooth chipped while eating popcorn—not even a kernel. They fixed it, but I expressed concern that the bonding looked thin and translucent. A month later, not only did that same tooth chip again—so did the one next to it, and this time while simply brushing my teeth. When I called, I was told there’s no availability until August 20th—over two months to fix two chipped front teeth. That’s not acceptable. It’s frustrating, embarrassing, and honestly feels like once the money is paid, the follow-up care becomes an afterthought. I say this with sincerity and disappointment: if your smile doesn’t need major work, think twice. The stress of dealing with fragile results and long delays is not worth it.

Fantastic experience: First time doing my smile design, the Dr. Gomez did his job and it was amazing. The team was great, very kind and professional. David took care of me as well and the treat was the best! I loved it and I LOVED MY NEW SMILE!

Negative experience: I received composite veneers with this company this year. They lied about not needing numbing, pricing and shaving of teeth. They advertise that numbing is not needed for this procedure but they in fact gave me 16 shots of a numbing agent (4 in each quadrant). They then shaved my teeth down without my consent. I didn’t know what to expect during the process so I didn’t know they were shaving my teeth. When I asked they said they were. I told them I didn’t want that but it was obviously too late. The cost is much higher than what they advertise as they add mandatory fees such as $250 cleaning, $500 clear retainers, $500 laser gum cutting and more. Because I have a permanent built in retainer I didn’t need clear retainers. Because of this they revoked my 6 month warranty. My teeth are hurting so bad and extremely sensitive since this procedure. My teeth are so close together I can’t floss AT ALL no matter the type of floss used. I have contacted the facility several times with no type of resolution or help. They are very rude and disrespectful from the time you check in to your appointment.

Negative experience: Went to Dental Design Smile on March 3rd after they ran me down about 2000 deposit towards MY Teeth I paid that ..I was told after I sent the deposit towards My teeth and MY Smile Pictures there they told MEEEE to take that it was gonna Be 7000 got down there it was 20000..I didn't have 20000 so I flew back to Houston with My deposit there..Dental Design informed me that My 2000 was gonna be put back on my card...ITS BEEN 10WEEKS NO 2000 DEPOSIT IS ON MY CARD...DENTAL DESIGN IS A SCAM THEY RIPPED ME OFFFFF AND I WILL BE SUEIN THAT WHOLE TEAM BECAUSE THEY LIED AND STILE MY 2000 WHICH I DIDN'T EVEN GET ANYTHING DID...NOW THEY TELLING ME I loose my 2000 and I never got anything Done....

Negative experience: If your time is valuable, this is not the place for you. I don't give bad reviews after one experience (always give the benefit of the doubt). But after 4 visits to this place... - Time: whether your appointment is early morning, mid-day, or late afternoon, once you get there, it's at least 1 hour before you are seen. On a previous appointment, after waiting for 1 1/2 hour, I complained. The response was that "other people were ahead of you and cleanings take time" and "no matter where you go, you have to wait". That's a poor answer. My latest appointment 2 weeks ago, early-mid morning, I was there 5 minutes early. I checked in and asked about the wait, and was told 1 hour because there are 3 ahead of me. If they know how long a procedure takes, then only take appointments that you can handle given the time, rooms, equipment, and staff that you have. People's time is valuable. At this point, I told them to cancel my appointment. I just returned from my new dentist, maybe 1 or 2 miles down the road. My wait time was 5 minutes. - Organization: when I made my first appointment I asked "do you do just regular checkups and cleaning? I don't need veneers, reconstruction, or anything else". They said yes, so I made the appointment. On the day of the appointment, after waiting an hour, I was taken to an exam room. Someone came in and started talking to me about veneers and other things I can have done. I said "I'm here for regular check up and cleaning". Waited some more, then taken to another exam room. Another person came in to talk to me about veneers. I explained again. Waited some more, then moved to the 3rd exam room. Third person comes in to talk about veneers. I said "does anyone know what my appointment is for? I'm here for cleaning". Finally, the fourth exam room, I got my cleaning. But now, it had been 2 hours past my appointment time. - Actual treatment: After my first cleaning I thought it was odd that as a new patient they did not take any x-rays. OK... wait for next appointment. Again, no x-rays. I thought "if they don't take x-rays the next time, it will be my last time here". On my 3rd appointment, they took x-rays. Now that I'm writing this review, I decided to look closer at my insurance claims. Both my first and third visits show multiple "radiograph images" charged to insurance. But no images were taken on my first visit. As mentioned before, I just returned from my new dentist. They took x-rays, as is expected with any first-time visit. - Parking: It's a nightmare. No place to park. I have had to park in the next shopping plaza, hoping that no one sees me park and walk to the other plaza so my vehicle is not towed.

Negative experience: I don’t know if the reviews are fake or what but honestly the receptionists / office people scared me out of my appointment . If they can’t reach you they will call you 12x in a row and text you insistently to the point I got nervous it was a scam I ended up losing my deposit and blocking them . I can’t risk bad things happening with my teeth it just raises way too many red flags . Not professional at all . I wish I could get my deposit back .

Negative experience: I have had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE here not only have they given me the run around about getting my $3500 deposit back. They hung up on me SEVERAL times when I asked to speak to a manager regarding the situation. I have waited 6+ weeks for my deposit back, I have completed all the forms they asked for as well. It says on the website 6-8 weeks which is incredibly long considering they demand a deposit the same day you book. For them to lie and tell me on the phone it takes 3 months for a refund when that's not what the website said. I also asked to speak to a manager several times and was told no like legit they told me no. I'm not this type of person but I'm at the point where it’s escalated significantly. Not only that when I did have my appointment I showed up and was told they could not perform the service because I was pregnant which I had no idea about so I wasn’t money on flights, a car and hotel. I have reported this to the BBB , everything about this was unprofessional. What’s funny is , when I was ready I was actually going to come back but not now. I’d suggest reading the 1 star reviews before booking. I have the receipts for all of this as well, so before the owner comes on here trying to deny everything like they have on previous reviews I just want to make that clear. This all could’ve been avoided by them doing the right thing and returning the money for a service I did not receive.

Negative experience: UPDATE: I’ve had my porcelain veneers for 4 days and TWO ALREADY FELL OFF. The doctors were great. I have no complaints there and I do like how my porcelain veneers came out. Everything leading up to that was more of the issue with me. I was quoted 7,500 when booking my appointment a month away.i was told to put 350$ down to secure my appointment . A week later I was told before my appointment I need to put an additional 1,650$ to keep my appointment. Fine.I specifically asked do I need any pre dental work done home in CALIFORNIA before I fly all the way to Miami. I asked two different people from the several confirmation phone calls I received. I was told no, the doctor will tell me what needs to be done. Ok. I specifically asked are there any up charges I should be aware of. No. Day of my appointment my $ 7,500 went to 9,700$. I was 7,500 was just for the teeth. Not the pre dental work. Go figure! I told them I’m not doing that and this is why I asked before hand so this wouldn’t happen. They were able to bring it down to 8,000$ . The social media leads you to believe you’ll be lodging in their Airbnb. I was put in a best western. Had I known I would have made my own arrangements because I am a little picky when it comes to hotels. The doctors were great. It’s just every thing leading up to that was unprofessional. But I kind of got the just and caught on to that when I was constantly referred to as “babe” instead of “miss” or “ma’am” If you decide to book be sure to ask detailed questions about pricing and lodging
