Fantastic experience: This the best dentist office I had in Tampa area, receptionist always answer the phone, always follow up with requests, reminding email and text to make sure you do not miss your appointment. Whenever we need to see doctor or request doctor to call back, doctors always call you back and they are so popular but they always can fit you in when you need something to be done. We have dental hygienist Ivanna and Nicky, they missed no tooth out, so detail, spent so much time, very gental. Love them. Update: we stayed with this dentist for 3-4 years by now, Ivanna did my cleaning again today, perfect job. My teeth remains healthier with this dentist.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Mark and his staff are great. The young hygienist did a wonderful job taking X-rays, which are now electronic. Once this step was completed Dr. Mark went over everything and spoke in length with me. He also said what he says were his recommendations and that the final decision was mine to make. Just before the end of the appointment the young hygienist went over the plan of attack. This was a form that was provided that marked what tooth required work, what is needed to correct the issue. The form even had a breakdown of an estimate before and after the average insurance will cover for each procedure. This was invaluable to have. I definitely recommend Dr. Mark and his staff.

Fantastic experience: Recently switched to South Tampa Dentistry and couldn’t be happier! Scheduling is always available and super supportive. They have moved a last minute cancellation for me despite it being totally my fault and did it with no issue. Docs are friendly and knowledgeable. You can’t go wrong!

Negative experience: Did not have a good overall experience here. They run a bit of a slick operation and I never felt comfortable going there or that their goals aligned with mine.

Negative experience: I was recommended to this doctor by a friend, and I started using them as my dentist. I had previous work done that I pay out-of-pocket and I specifically pay out-of-pocket because I wanted to save my insurance to get a crowd replaced on my back tooth that had come off from flossing. I made an appointment to have that crown replaced. When I came to the dentist for my first initial Visit, which I thought was too, get the mold and things to get a crown prepared, only to realize that he did a root canal on a tooth that I did not ask him to do work on, and secondly, I did not ever have a problem with. After the second visit from doing the root canal, I felt my back tooth and realized that there was no crown on there, and I asked him what was he working on and he told me that he did a root canal on a tooth in the front of my mouth, which again I never had any Cavity nor any problems with a day in my life. Normally Dentist come in and explain to you what they’re going to do before they do any work, but he felt explain to me anything just started working. I was pretty pissed about this and I have been contemplating on doing this review, but I feel like I was ripped off for one. I purposely paid cash for my two previous visits and I wanted to save my insurance for this crown which was right at the amount of insurance that I had left to take care of the cost of the crown being replaced. Since then I have found another Dentist and I will never come back and do business with this Office again I felt like I was definitely taking advantage of and he definitely did work on my mouth and I did not make a visit for or tell him to do.

Fantastic experience: When you love what you do it shows! I feel blessed for finding Dr Wyatt. He's one of a kind. Very patient and professional but at the same time he's cool, fun and chill. He treats you like family and shows that he cares. You can tell he's in the business because it's his passion. We had a little hiccup with my crown. Not his fault at all, but the way that he handle it rather than upsetting me because it took a couple of extra visits it made me appreciate him even more. I definitely found my dentist for good and I will be telling everybody I know to come here. All the ladies are super nice and friendly in the office. I can't believe I'm going to say this but I don't hate going to the dentist anymore. Thanks so much for taking care of me Dr Wyatt and staff.

Negative experience: I had let the office know I wasn’t feeling well but they still made me come in or it would be a $75 charge. Knowing my situation they would not take my appointment after driving all the way there because I was one minute past the cut off time. One minute! This is horrible front desk customer service and don’t expect to feel welcome when walking in. They won’t even look at you until minutes after you stand there. This def is a factory type office of in and out yet they won’t be flexible or compassionate. I will not be returning nor will any of my family in Florida.

Fantastic experience: New to Tampa, I needed a new dentist in South Tampa and found South Tampa Dentistry highly recommended on Nextdoor. I was able to get an appointment quickly to see Dr Wyatt. Office staff was welcoming and efficient - I was seen for my mid-day appointment on time. I didn’t have any issues and needed a separate appointment for cleaning which I got same day. It would have been nice if they had set both up for one appointment slot at the beginning. My hygienist, Nikki, was thorough and careful during my cleaning, which is important to me since I go for regular maintenance checkups.

Fantastic experience: While no one really looks forward to seeing the dentist, I’ve been going to South Tampa Dentistry for 10+ years. Always professional and friendly. They have great hygienists and the dentists are very good.

Fantastic experience: Going to the dentist is one of the most anxiety riddled events in my calendar. Dr Mark, his hygienists, assistants, and office staff have all been extraordinarily patient with me. I always feel respected, never rushed, I’m treated tenderly and with compassion. Not all dental offices or medical offices have that and it makes and immense difference.

Fantastic experience: I went for my first visit. All of the staff were so kind and efficient. My dentist Dr. McCaughey was amazing. He took time to bring dental molds to explain the different between dental implants, crown and bridge to show me why they are all different and when they are necessary. I would highly recommend this office!

Fantastic experience: I had a crown fall out. I went to another dentist and was told I had a cavity and that I needed a gold crown put in because the porcelain one was not durable. They quoted me $1,745 to fix it. I wanted a 2nd opinion, so I came to South Tampa Dentistry. They advised I DID NOT have a cavity, and they were able to glue my zirconia crown back on with no problems saving me ALOT of money.

Fantastic experience: God knows I hate dental appointments, but they made this one a breeze! They were even able to accommodate a same-day cleaning after my exam—because let’s be honest, who knows if I would have actually come back for it! Super grateful for their flexibility and great care.

Fantastic experience: I am new to the area and initially went to South Tampa Dentistry because I do not have dental insurance and they post their prices online and have a dental plan for folks like me which saves a great deal of money. I am coming back because of the service and quality. The office is clean and inviting (not mid-century funeral home) and they get the patients in fairly quickly. Dr. Wyatt and his assistant Jamie are the best - they are thorough and patient and Jamie even said when I left not to suffer and to call or walk in with the problem and they would work me in for treatment. Also a shout out to the hygienist Paula for a great cleaning! A really good dental office - especially if you do not have insurance.
