Negative experience: I wouldn’t step foot in this establishment if everything they had to offer was free! Smiles and nice attitudes are cool, but this is a place that is still meant to render treatment EFFECTIVELY. I came in at the end of April and paid out of pocket to get dental fillings. Let’s start on how it almost seems like no one keeps notes on their patients because I’ve had to explain to my story a million times to different people. I came in to get dental fillings at the April and immediately after my appointment I noticed that I had extreme pain. I was told to give it a week before the pain would die down and my bite be back to normal. A week later I came back in where I was readjusted for having pain, I paid nothing out pocket. Week one goes by, week two goes by, and my pain is getting worse. I have extreme sensitivity and I can hardly CHEW! Prior to this, I scheduled before hand to come in to get my left quadrant filled but I refused to come back until my right side healed. Nobody explained to me that it was insurance covering these follow up adjustments for THEIR mistakes. Unfortunately, I no longer had coverage by the time I got an appointment rescheduled to get adjusted. To my surprise, they expected me to pay $120 out of pocket for another exam on fillings that THEY performed. Why would I pay for a mistake you guys made and it’s not guaranteed to be fixed either?! I was in significantly less pain before becoming a patient here. I’ll be proceeding with whatever resources I have to make an official complaint because that is CRAZY.

Negative experience: 1). Let me start with the good. I have noticed that many dentists are moving out of network with many dental insurance companies/plans, so when I found Rodeo dental it was a plus bc they are in network with the dental insurance I currently have. additionally the doctors are knowledgeable in their field of dentistry and seem to genuinely care about the clients/dental patients and the staff is friendly as well. 2.) This is my complaint. My son had a routine 6 months cleaning last week and I've never been to a dentistry were a dental cleaning was done in less than 5 minutes. My son is 13, so I did not go with my son when his name was called to go in the back for his cleaning. (I believed that the dental techs were competent in what they were doing so no need to monitor) well, I was wrong. When my son came back to the front lobby so quickly (less than 5 minutes) I was surprised and wondered what was really cleaned. I asked my son why was his cleaning so short, he exclaimed the dental tech (or the ladies doing the cleaning) said he had no buildup; which was hard to believe as the doctor pointed out in the X-rays that my son had 2 cavities and a broken old filling in need of a crown. (My sneaks candy ) Furthermore, I asked my son did he get a fluoride treatment and the answer was NO. I then requested for my son to go back and get his fluoride treatment. I understand that the client base at rodeo dental is rather large, however, rushing to finish a patient, not properly doing the cleaning and omitting necessary steps in the dental cleaning process is highly unprofessional and may mean some employees need retraining. I doubt that my son's cleaning was thoroughly perform as his cleaning was finished within 5 minutes. 3). I sent my concerns to rodeo dental last week and yet no response. At any rate, I will be changing dental insurance plans when open season starts in fall of 2025.

Negative experience: This place is abusive and also scams Medicaid. Preys on the poor and uninformed. Stay away. My son came out of the room With bruises on his cheeks from being held in place.

Negative experience: Honestly disappointed because I really wanted to like this place. Ive been a few times, and on my last visit was xrayed for braces. The problem is, this visit was over two months ago & I’ve heard nothing back about the braces. At this point I kind of want my money back so that I can just go somewhere else. To take $500 from me, and two months later there’s still no update or communication on where the trays are is unacceptable in my opinion, since they confirmed it only takes 3-6 weeks for braces to come in. Also I’ve been calling for the past week and the ortho team is never in the office so I never get an update. Where did my $500 go?

Negative experience: Horrible experience, my son will not be attending this dentist clinic anymore due to bad negligence from workers , My son had a silver crown redone on 3/19/25 which he needed sedation to get job done, when finished , they took him to recovery room ,and when picking him up from the back recovery room , he was in the wheel chair with the Dental assistant named Amberly, and he had a big bruise on his forehead, and bleeding a lot from nose, she was holding gauzes against his nose to stop the bleeding ,she claimed that my son hit himself on wheelchair, which that is not the case , since the bruise was big and nose bleeding was a lot , when I seen him , she must of let him fall down the wheelchair or bed , to cause the bruise and bleeding , total negligence from Amberly, Hope this doesn’t happen to any other patient , totally unacceptable!!!

Fantastic experience: Pretty great dentist and staff, super friendly and cooperative! Better than monarch dental for sure! Highly recommend. Dr. Shak is in the process of helping me straighten my teeth and jaw, while other dentist claimed it wasn’t 100% doable. I wished I would’ve came to this dentist first, the best. The staff and assistants are super friendly and caring, I’ve never had a bad experience or time here, daliana is super friendly!

Fantastic experience: Today was such a big day for me and my family. I got my braces removed finally and I feel like such a new person! After getting my braces removed, my daughter got her braces put on. (YES SAME DAY! ) Dr shak and Corrina made it such an unforgettable experience for me and my daughter.
