Fantastic experience: Dr. C and crew were amazing. From start to finish. Very clean office, and caring team. Everything was clear and understood well. Extraction procedure was absolutely painless. Love this dental care office.

Fantastic experience: Visited the office for the first time today for an emergency due to my regular Dentist Office being closed. The staff was very professional and very nice. They explained the procedure and assured that I was comfortable before proceeding. Excellent services received, would definitely visit again.

Fantastic experience: This is hands down THE best dental experience I have ever had! I called in around 11am for excruciating tooth pain today (Sunday), and they had me in by 4pm to see what was going on. Unfortunately I ended up needing a root canal, but fortunately this team got it taken care of with ease. I felt completely comfortable with every team member, start to finish, even with dental anxiety. So happy to have finally found Dr. C. that listens, is empathetic, and knows exactly what he is doing. Truly all of the staff are wonderful people, and I couldn’t recommend this practice more!

Fantastic experience: No where else was I able to get my tooth extracted so quickly. I called several places that were booked out until August before I found Dental Care and was offered an appointment next day! The staff were friendly and welcoming. The dental surgeon had wonderful bedside manner. The wait time was a bit long but i understood as he’s only one person. The procedure itself was painless and quick. They offer care credit for cost. I would recommend.

Negative experience: The most unprofessional, unpleasant, Office Staff answering there phone. My son had a emergency fractured crown, in pain 10+++, and the disrespect I received from the woman on the phone was troubling. I was just trying to be seen for my son's Emergency was just rude lazy and unjustified behavior, for Emergency Health Care. (Definitely the Worst highly, deserves No star ⭐) Dr. Kendall was in charge.....

Fantastic experience: Dental Care of Waldorf is an Outstanding Dental Office. All of the staff members were friendly, knowledgeable and so courteous especially Bonnie and Emily. Dr C was amazing, simply the best. I’m normally very scared to go to the dentist however, Dr C put me at ease, he explained everything to me to ensure I was comfortable with the procedure and pain free. They are very timely, no long waits and my procedure was pretty much painless. I would highly recommend this dental office to my family and friends.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Dr. Crandall at Dental Care of Waldorf. My husband and I traveled from Ohio to visit our son and his family in Leonardtown MD. During our drive, my husband noticed a toothache and it continued to bother him through the eight hour drive. When we arrived at my son's home, he noticed that the side of his face was swollen. My daughter-in-law immediately got online and found Dental Care Of Waldorf, called them and got my husband in for an appointment in less than two hours -- 6:00 on a Friday night. My husband had an infection, needed teeth extracted, antibiotic, etc. Dr. Crandall and the staff were amazing and we were able to enjoy the weekend with our grandsons. We were so lucky that they gave him an appointment on such late notice and gave him excellent care. We really appreciated their kindness and professionalism.

Fantastic experience: Amazing to say the least! I called Saturday and made an appointment for Monday, after calling another dentist and told they could see me in two weeks, my infection wasn’t going to wait two weeks, getting worse by the hour, I woke up Sunday and my face was enormous! At 7:30 I called and explained what was going on and they found a way to fit me in as a new patient . From the moment I walked into the office I was greeted with kindness by everyone! The receptionist, the X-ray tech, ( sorry I can’t remember all the names I was a hot mess) Emily, Kat, Dr. C., they were so calm and accommodating to my condition which helped relieve my anxiety, and promptly took care of my situation. I was amazed at the whole experience. and highly recommended them, especially if you have a weekend emergency that can’t wait! . I went in scared, in tears, anxiety off the charts and left knowing that I had just had the best care! I can’t possibly thank them enough!!!

Fantastic experience: Amazing, we truly appreciate this place, the staff has been great, the doc was wonderful and we will return. Edit, I wanted to give more detail- when I arrived i was in pain, the staff didn't judge by my disheveled appearance, they were all welcoming. The doc was very friendly and very kind in trying to prevent further pain. Even through the pain the staff made me laugh which was unexpected and nice. I have had trouble in the past with getting mouth X-rays due to the large item that needs to be bitten on, this place has a wonderful x-ray machine that takes a small piece to go in your mouth, this was a true blessing. I highly recommend coming in if you are wanting a friendly place that cares, this place nailed it. Big thank you to all who dealt with me.

They gave me an appointment the next day and the friendly receptionist called me in the morning to confirm everything was good to go. Negative experience: Don’t go here if you want an office that’s respects their patients. Office staff is terrible and unprofessional. The office manager is very rude and disrespectful. They will in fact steal your money! And I have proof! They will don’t understand how insurance works. And will overcharge you and won’t give the money back. They even told my insurance company that they didn’t want to talk to them. They will charge you deductibles that don’t exist. Thieves!!! They must be really desperate for a whole 25 dollars! The office staff all act like they are not trained and nobody knows anything when they are questioned. Stay away! You have been warned. Read the reviews under the insurance section. Apparently this is an ongoing problem with this office. Bad practices!!! Stay away!!!

Being pregnant, I was extremely nervous about having dental work done, but they made me feel so comfortable and at ease from the moment I walked in. The entire process was seamless. I called late on a Saturday night around 9:50 PM, expecting to leave a message, and to my surprise, I was able to get an appointment the very next day—on a Sunday! I couldn’t believe it. Most dental offices aren’t even open on Sundays, but they went above and beyond to make sure I was seen and taken care of quickly. The care, professionalism, and genuine concern they showed me during my visit were unmatched. Fantastic experience: Dr. Crandall and Emily are the best! No pain no gain! They took out my top right tooth that was causing me pain and irritation, and it was cracked in half even. It took literally 2 minutes or less and was not bad at all! Will definitely recommend them for all your teeth problems

Negative experience: Called before we drove a hour up. Was today our deductible would be 30 dollars for x-rays and tooth extraction so we took the drive. Got in and had to wear a mask like it is 2020. Seen the dentist after x-rays and came up with a plan to help my wife. When we spoke to them they said it would be 1500 to get it done and when I asked that would go through the insurance first then we would be billed and she agreed so we were going to get it done. She then asks how we would like to pay? We replied by asking pay what and she said the 1500. We were very upset because we were lied to twice and wasted 3 total hours of our time. Communication is a huge part of customer service and customers do not like wasting their time. The dentist wasn't willing to do anything. I would not recommend going here.

Negative experience: Called because I’m experiencing horrible pain from an old root canal and am trying to find an endodontist or someone who can help with a root canal retreatment. Elizabeth, who answered the phone, said they don’t do that at this practice, so I asked if she could refer me to one who does. She said she doesn’t know and no one at the office knows who to refer me to either... I find that hard to believe considering they sometimes need to refer patients out. What a joke this place is.

Fantastic experience: This was the best experience I’ve had in a long time. I visited for a second opinion on one of my molars after my previous dentist insisted I needed a root canal. To my surprise, I didn’t need one at all. Dr. Crandall thoroughly examined my tooth and was able to fix the issue without the unnecessary procedure. Brook and Dr. Crandall did a fantastic job today. Fantastic experience: Very nice staff. They explain your treatment plan thoroughly. Fast appointments. Emily and Dr. C were very reassuring and kind. At a second appointment, the staff was still pleasant but I received a cut on the side of my mouth. The dentist was trying to remove cement from between my teeth and due to me being numb, I did not feel the floss cutting into my skin until after I left. I was not pleased with this because I know him and the assistant had to see the blood on my face. They were nice enough, and this was the only issue I have had out of 4 visits.

I visited this location back in July of 24 and today I finally came back to get my bridge and crown, I received the royal treatment I appreciate the time that was taken to make sure I was 100% comfortable with the work I needed, the price and all the way to the actual numbing treatment. . . I mean they really took the time to cover everything plus my questions! Professional and Fun ( the jokes are unmatched) Thank you all, I’ve found my forever Denist!!!

Negative experience: My husband needed an emergency appointment, the staff was great to get him in right away but we were misinformed about his insurance and now told that we would pay out of pocket over $3000. Which he paid because his tooth needed to be fixed and nothing available for another week or more. When trying to get reimburse, All we were getting was the run around. First I was told they could complete the form and I can pick it up. Then I go to the office to pick it and now told that they would have to mail it. After my insurance said to get reimburse that I could fax or email. They refuse to do either. I was told i would get a call back and nothing. I am still waiting since July 23rd. We paid up front. This is ridiculous and poor customer service on the billing department. You guys have not provided us with the proper information we need. If so we would not be still going back and forth. I explain that we have 2 insurance and 2nd insurance is coinsurance. But even still our insurance has contacted the office over 5 times and even they said it's never been this difficult to just provide information for claims. You have mislead our insurance company said it was mailed to them and then you said you can't fax or email. We are going into a New Year with still no itemized receipts or even the completed information back for the reimbursement.

Negative experience: My wife and I visited Dental Care of Waldorf last year in 2024 for what was supposed to be routine dental cleanings, but the experience was deeply disappointing from start to finish. When we arrived, the office performed x-rays and the dentist evaluated our teeth. However, we were then informed that we would not be getting our cleanings that day and would instead be placed on a waitlist. This was frustrating because we were never informed prior to the appointment that cleanings would not be performed. When we asked the receptionist how long we might be waiting, we were told they didn’t know because they didn’t have a dental hygienist and were unsure when they would hire one. Had we known this upfront, we would have canceled the appointment altogether. It’s been over six months, and we still have not received a call about our cleanings. Additionally, in 2024, my wife needed a bridge procedure, which was another awful experience. The first time it was performed, someone in training handled the procedure without adequate supervision. This caused my wife significant pain, and she had to return to have the issue corrected by the dentist. Allowing an inexperienced trainee to handle such a procedure without the dentist present is completely unacceptable. When my wife requested the dentist during the appointment, she was repeatedly told he was busy with another patient, and by the time he arrived, the damage was already done. Fast forward to today, January 22, 2025, my wife received a text message about an appointment she was completely unaware of. She called the office to cancel and inquire about the appointment, only to find out it was a follow-up for her bridge, originally scheduled in June 2024 and then rescheduled without her knowledge in December to today. No reminders or notifications were sent about these changes. Despite this, we were told there would be a $50 same-day cancellation fee. When we asked to speak to a manager—something we have requested in the past with no response—we were once again denied access. A staff member named Elizabeth came on the phone but admitted she was not the manager. When we asked for the manager’s name or contact information, she refused to provide it, which is highly unprofessional. Elizabeth then hung up on us when I questioned her further. When I called back multiple times, I was repeatedly placed on hold or ignored. This office has been nothing but unprofessional from day one. Communication is nonexistent, customer service is appalling, and the lack of accountability is astounding. It feels like this practice is focused on making money rather than providing proper patient care. To the dentist: I suggest you take a hard look at how your office is being managed. If you do have a manager, I strongly urge them to reach out and address these issues because your current staff is doing your practice a disservice. I cannot recommend this dental office to anyone. If you value transparency, communication, and professional care, I suggest looking elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely incredible team here at Dental Care. Emily and Dr. Crandall were very thorough, made me feel relaxed through an entire procedure to get out a tooth that had fractured at some point in the past several weeks and caused an infection. They took X-Rays, tests, identified the problem, and then took prompt action. This was all on a holiday weekend for a new patient. To say this was a huge plus is an understatement. Not to mention the friendly and assuring nature of the front desk for the whole process. World class dentistry and a team I would recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Dental Care of Waldorf is exceptional. They made sure I felt comfortable and at ease throughout my visit. The team is not only friendly but also highly knowledgeable, taking the time to explain procedures, and answer all my questions. It's clear that they care about their patients. I highly recommend then to anyone looking for excellent dental care!

Fantastic experience: Dr. C was great! Very efficient with a pleasant bedside manner. Emily was absolutely amazing too! She did a fabulous job taking care of me and making me feel comfortable and at ease.

Negative experience: I still have pain from my root canal, it took 4 hrs on day 1 and 1 hr on day 2 to do this. They leave you just sitting there while attending other people. The numbness started to go away and they needed to inject me once again. Not the type of service you want when you have pain. And they still make you wear a mask when you come in to sit there and wait. Do not recommend. They will bill you more than what the insurance allows. DO NOT GO
