Fantastic experience: This was my first visit. I was very nervous. I had a very bad experience with another dentist several years ago, which is why it took me so long to go to another dentist. I was extremely impressed!! Kayla was awesome!! She really listened and made me feel at ease. She answered all of my questions and concerns and thoroughly explained what my next steps would be in my dental care. I saw Dr. Owen and he was very easy to talk to and explained what he was going to do to help with a few issues I have. He was extremely nice and I can’t say enough good things about them both. They are genuinely kind and make you feel comfortable and at ease. I will highly recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I had a crown in the front of my mouth come fall out after 8:30 pm Tuesday night, I called Peaksview, got their emergency number where Melissa answered and told me she’d have someone call me first thing in the morning, they did and got me in that morning and took care of me . So friendly, so professional and very caring. I’ve been a client for over 20 years and will remain a client for years to come. Thank you to all of you for making me feel like more than a number.

Fantastic experience: I was thoroughly pleased with my visit at Peaks view Dental. The entire staff was pleasant and friendly. And I was examined in a timely manner....with my questions answered and explained well.

Negative experience: I was thrilled with this practice initially but not after today. My mom was supposed to have her upper row of teeth pulled & receive her dentures. She was measured on March 17th for the dentures. Somehow at her appointment today, the dentures were not in and the office hadn't followed up to make sure they would be available today. They needed more measurements of her mouth. My mother has alzheimers (which the dentist office is well aware of) and it's not the easiest to get her to the doctor's office. Of course they offered to go ahead and pull the teeth today which is RIDICULOUS! Who wants to be without their entire row of upper teeth for 2-3 weeks! This was very unprofessional and disappointing!

Abby (dental assistant) took my X-rays and I have always dreaded that part of going the dentist but she took the films quickly and painlessly, Ashley (hygienist) did a fantastic job at cleaning and did not hurt at all with scraping, Dr. Walerko is very nice and explained all his "findings" clearly, office staff are very kind and welcoming. They almost make you feel like family! I have definitely found where I will be going to the dentist from now on!

Fantastic experience: Today was my Root Canal at Peaksview Dental. Not the greatest experience anyone could have but Dr. Polk was very understanding of my concerns and treated me with kindness and patience. Tonight I am feeling it but otherwise it wasn't so bad.

Fantastic experience: I was recently referred to Dr.Polk because I needed a root canal on an infected tooth. I was very anxious, but in hindsight there was no need to be. I felt no pain whatsoever during the procedure, not even while being numbed! I would recommend Dr.Polk to anyone. Everyone in the office was very nice as well. If I ever need another root canal, I will definitely go back to Dr. Polk.

Fantastic experience: I refuse to go anywhere else. the whole staff is exactly what you want. very professional, but not overwhelming. any doctor/dentist is expensive, but with the results I've had in the past years, "in network" or not, I'd rather save up to go here opposed to having my insurance pay somewhere that might do a good job. this place is a guarantee. big thanks to the team you have and will continue to improve my quality of life.

Fantastic experience: I cant stand going to the dentist...ever...but Peaksview does it all right..did my Covid form and had my temp checked in the car, waited my turn .went right in .Mary is sweet and gentle, Dr. Welerka is always wonderful, a good listener, and will tell me what he is doing. And we laughed..so what more could I want if I am at the dentist?? .... New visit..Courtney, Kyle and Dr. Wolfe today...making some tough decisions to my benefit..again, could not ask for greater support or positive feedback from my incessant questions...Peaksview Dental are THE BEST New visit ..nothing has changed,, they are still so profess, work together smoothly and somehow calm my angst..maybe it's Dr Wolf's happy humming as he works.. New visit..still the only dentist site for me..we double checked with UVA to make sure I did not need a post surgery dosage of an antibiotic, then Jackie got to work. Dear Dr. Welerko gave me a clean bill and sent me on my way ..Yay!

Fantastic experience: I’d been looking to switch to this fantastic team. I had a dental emergency, and my old dentist didn’t even return my call. PeaksView Dental showed empathy on the phone and scheduled me for a quick solution. The staff were all super friendly, and each practitioner in the process explained everything in advance. My first visit was my best dental appointment of my 46 years on the planet.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Peaks View Dental for a few years. I absolutely LOVE the office, their staff and Dr. Owen. Communication is key and they are on it. I never wait more than 5-10 minutes. I'm in and out for a regular cleaning in about 30 minutes. I don't plan on going anywhere and encourage folks looking for a Dental practice to check them out.

Fantastic experience: Dental office very good, I had Elaine clean my teeth now for about 12 years. She is great. Dr. Richardson who is super was off today and I met Dr. Owen for the first time. I really liked him and he answered all my questions. If you go you will like the Dentist Office. Update 1/11/21, went in for cleaning and Elaine again was super, she also measured for bone loss around teeth and she said I was very good. Dr. Richardson came in he also said my teeth were in good shape. He put my last crown on about 11 years ago, and he knows how to do it. Thanks, front office also very nice. Update: 7/28/21....This is a great place to go, as they are really nice, and Elaine has done a great job over the years cleaning my teeth. Love it. I met Dr. Wolf for the first time, and he to was very nice and took his time looking over my teeth. Also, the lady who took me back...Kendal, was really nice. I will keep telling my friends to go to your Dental Office Update: 8/9/22...This is a great Dental office, and I have Elaine clean my teeth, she has for over 10 years. She is top notch and does a great job, she answers my questions, and tells me to Floss everyday. Dr. Owen came in to check my x-rays and said things are good, gave me some tips on my bottom teeth that are a little close together. Plus, they gave me a nice Goodie bag of stuff on the way out. You will be glad you came here. Update: 2/10/2023 Came in for my cleaning and had...Anne, for the First time and she was super. Very good cleaning and she did not even make me Flinch. She gave me a few tips, and then Dr. Owen, came in and said I was doing a good job, and that Anne, did really well. Been going here for years. Top Notch! Update 8/18/23 Came in today for a cleaning, and Anne did a Great Job, just like last time. I can tell you she really likes her job. Dr. Walerko...check my teeth and said doing a good job. Like me he is also from Indiana. It was the first time I met him. He was Super. Thanks again. Update: 2/6/24 Came in today and had my teeth cleaned. Anne does a great job. She said I was doing a good job on brushing my teeth and keeping them in good shape. Plus, the lady who checked me out made sure I had the dental plan which is very good. I tell my friends to go here if they want the BEST! Update 11/13/24 I called today and I had a chipped tooth, they got me in the same day and DR. Walerko...fixed it. His asst. also was very nice and helpful. So, thanks for the great service. Been going here over 17 years. Love it! Update 03/27/25 I came in for my 6 months cleaning and I have had Anne Marie for a few years now and she is TOP NOTCH. Very nice are caring, and she cleans my teeth perfect. I very happy to have her. I will be back. Thanks again!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr Owen and staff are very friendly and make you comfortable during your visit. Most of my visits have been a short wait and my visits were not rushed. Dr Owen asks more than once if you have any questions and seems very happy to answer any, if you do. His staff do the same thing. While in "The Chair" , that most people dread so much, they make sure you're comfortable and not so nervous. They even have videos playing of their staff and family, making you feel more at ease. Thank you for your great work!

Fantastic experience: Deana always does a fantastic job at cleaning my teeth while taking her time with me as my front teeth are very sensitive.

Positive experience: My teeth were cleaned in a thorough and professional manner and all costs were covered by the membership plan. There are 3 small things however, that I don't understand: 1. I receive a text that tells me to check in by text but no one replies when I text that I have arrived. 2. The hygienist strongly encourages the use of an electric toothbrush - yet they give me a “free” manual toothbrush every 6 months. I would rather receive a replacement head for the recommended electric toothbrush. 3. My “goodie bag” always includes trial size floss which is perfect for travel. None included this time.

Fantastic experience: Initially, I was impressed and Dr. Wolf did a great job. I have BCBS Dental Insurance that covered my initial few visits. I had scheduled a visit to have two fractured crowns repaired, but got a notice that they "No longer took my insurance" and I would have to pay the full amount of $1200 before work could progress. That was several years ago and I have not even gone anywhere, but I am looking for a new dentist. My sister had a very negative experience with a rude front desk twit who was sent to the back offices the next time she went. We both concluded they are all about the MONEY! And who does not take Blue Cross? Why would you stop taking the insurance, if you have a customer using it? I don't know any reason why, but it feels like they don't want me as a customer. Fine.

Fantastic experience: I had a dental emergency while visiting from out of town, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff was super friendly and welcoming, which immediately put me at ease. Dr. Owen was amazing—extremely personable, explained everything as he worked, and made the whole process stress-free. His chairside manner was fantastic (and honestly way better than my regular dentist), and Dawn, the dental assistant, was just as kind and friendly. Even the checkout process was smooth, with the staff just as warm and helpful as everyone else. Despite the stressful situation, my experience was nothing short of outstanding.
