Negative experience: This Dental office is horrible and unorganized. I took my 2 children to this office for the first time in February of 2025 due to moving to the RGC. I have FEDERAL insurance in which the office could not process my insurance because the office stated that "something" was wrong on the insurance side and therefore my children could not be seen unless I paid in cash. The office stated that I could pay in cash and once that "something" got updated they could then process my insurance and refund me my money. I went ahead and paid in cash which was around $300.00 and change in cash. Well that "something" that needed to be updated was not part of my insurance but actually on the office side to the insurance. I have gone to the office in person 3-4 times now since and spoken to MAYRA who is in charge of the billing department and she continues to give me the run around over the issue. The issue is that the dental office has not updated their address to my insurance and therefore my insurance can not forward checks to the dental office. I do not understand how hard is it to update and address? We are now July of 2025. 5 months later and still no help from MAYRA. NO REFUND. No nothing. This is unprofessional. Do not go to this Dental office if you have BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD (FEDERAL) due to the dental office not having the correct billing address on their profile with said insurance.

Negative experience: So. Back in December I went in on a Saturday due to an emergency. I couldn’t deal with a severe infection in my tooth and I knew I was going to get it pulled. In fact I went in with the intention of getting it pulled. Getting dental work unfortunately is not the most economical thing. Obviously if it was, I wouldn’t be in this mess. I’m there with a swollen cheek, pulsating pain radiating on my left side of my face, only for the dentist to practically shame me and make me feel like utter trash for letting it get this bad. Without even knowing that I’m that same year I had a severe health issue that I was still recovering from. Sorry that my teeth weren’t top priority. I felt embarrassed, I felt like I got scolded as if I was a child. I will never, and let me repeat myself, ever go back. And that ladies and gentlemen is why people hate the dentist, it’s expensive as can be and you get shamed, you literally pay to get shamed.

Fantastic experience: 8 years of coming to Rodeo Dental and we haven’t been disappointed. The waiting area is super clean and fun for the kids. My daughter and I played the arcade together. The staff were friendly and professional. We didn’t wait long, the dentist was very nice and explained everything very well. We will continue to come.

Fantastic experience: Every time I have an appointment in the Rio Grande location of rodeo dental everyone is always helpful, smiling and enthusiastic. An individual in particular is always extremely helpful her name is Leonela Hinojosa, she has always helped me as well as guided me through all my dental needs and patient information, for instance insurance and such. Another receptionist has a great customer service as well as a receptionist Rosy. This location is exceptional in service and treating pacients. Being organized and motivated is something this office has always provided.

Negative experience: Front assistance super rude with the parent of the patient take forever to attend you and talk and talk about their personal life and the dental nurse assistant double the rude saying thing in whisper to another nurse assistant knowing that the patients were special need super bad treatment I would defenetly not recommend .
