I called for an emergent dental appointment as I’ve been experiencing terrible tooth pain over the last few days & my normal dentist office had no availability. Not only did they get me in the same day as a brand new patient. But they took excellent care of me and made me feel right at home. The dental assistant was extremely nice and nurturing and the Dr. got right to the root of my problem and extracted my painful wisdom tooth during my visit. I’m extremely satisfied with this practice and will be changing dental offices so I can continue going to Klement going forward.

Negative experience: Went in for molar issues. Was advised a crown was needed, possibly a root canal. While they were doing their thing was advised root canal not needed. Extreme pain week after temp crown was installed. Had emergency visit. Doctor looked at it for two seconds and states root canal needed. Although root canals are listed in their services, they will not perform it. I should have just had my tooth pulled with the amount of pain and money this is causing. Do not recommend. Do not send anyone you love here.

Negative experience: Buyer beware with this company your free visit is not actually free because once they find out you have insurance they will run your visit through your insurance and you will have to pay any deductibles and co-pays. I totally feel like I got scammed with this organization because I was quite clear on the phone with them. I wanted a organization that could use anesthesia when taking out my wisdom teeth they were almost twice the price of another organization that I went to Have my dental work done and they ended up sending me $124.99 bill… Apparently free is not free at this dental practice.

Negative experience: Had a root canal done, in less than 6 months the same tooth hurt, Klement family dental said that I had to get a retreat done, having another dentistry look at the tooth, said that they probably did not get all the infection

Dr. Oldham is amazing I have had a longtime fear of dentist and she has helped me not only get care I need but also want to get care I need. Negative experience: My spouse has MAC/Bronchiectasis which is a bacterial disease of the lungs, prevalent in Florida and serious. This is not contagious and is carried by water, air, soil. She is being treated by one of 8 doctors in the entire country who is with USF. We spoke to Erica at the Tyrone office of KlementFamily Dental, who refused to allow my spouse to bring her own, sterilized water to her cleaning appointment. That's all she asked for, so that she was not ingesting water that was not sterilized. Erica showed no empathy for her, was more concerned about the insurance coverage than patient care. She is rude and dismissive and its not the first time.This illness, should you chose to research, is affecting children now and the water dentists are using is delivering this bacteria. Dental lines cause the most damage with the illness growing 8% every year. My spouse is part of a MAC support group and NONE of the group has had trouble getting this accommodation from their dentists. How can Klement possibly consider themselves Healthcare professionals, when they have no opening to understanding or responding to their own patients needs. The simple solution is allowing someone who is compromised with this illness to simply be allowed to use their own sterilized water. Klement - for a practice that makes millions of dollars from our community, you need to do better than this.

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of having, Tatiana- a dental hygienist- if you have the chance to have her do! She is kindest most sweetest person ever, she has a bright personality that fills the room with laughter. Also Dr. Simmons is great too!! All around this is a perfect dental office for families, and etc.

Negative experience: I'd been a long-standing customer who'd sent referrals. Staff and doctors are friendly and skilled, and the environment is comfortable. But, bear in mind my experience should you wish to have a tooth implant. First, the $5,000 quote given me for an implant was greater than the national average at the time. But I liked and trusted doctors there. Then, midway through the procedure, the billing department quoted a balance due that made the final total more than a $1,000 higher! I wrote management but received no response until I requested my files to take completing this big-ticket service elsewhere. Management then agreed to honor the original quote. When the work was completed, the area remained sore and wasn't healing. Follow-up a few weeks later revealed the implant, which should have lasted years, was actually coming out! (Note: I agreed to a 4 mm implant vs. a 6 mm because of low-hanging sinus. The doctor noted it might not last as long as the decades common to a 6 mm implant, but neither he nor I expected it wouldn’t last weeks. So, I signed the consent form.) Now the failed implant that cost me $5,000 was going to have to be removed. As the failure was not due to anything I had done, I asked Klement to share in the loss and remove it without charge to me or credit the profit (not cost) made from the failed service toward future dental services. These requests were denied. I wrote management again, but this time there was no money to be made, and I received no response. Upon leaving Klement, another dental office that removed the implant and had no part or profit from putting it in, sympathized with my position and gave me a generous discount. And a different dental professional I’ve since spoken to about this found it hard to believe that Klement offered no consideration for their part in such an egregious outcome. If a tooth implant is your desire and you don't wish to risk thousands of dollars, take a lesson from my experience.

She was kind and friendly and efficient. The hygienist who worked on my 5 year old made him feel so comfortable—he actually looks forward to going to the dentist and getting his new Batman toothbrush!

The doctor (can’t remember her name) also explained every detail to my dental health. I always feared the dentist but my 1st experience was awesome. Fantastic experience: Well I was looking for total mouth implants and after 5 consultations with mostly $50k+ price tags, I decided dentures were a better solution. I have too many missing broken teeth for a simple full mouth implant, which can double the cost. Knowing I need some teeth removed surgically, I wanted a place that does everything and not focused on just implants. I found Klemnent on a Google search and decided to get another opinion and evaluation. From the moment I walked in, the staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. I felt the dedication immediately. Together we came up with a plan for dentures that fell well within my budget. I actually am getting impressions the morning after my consultation was completed. Also if for some reason I want to permanently mount the dentures in the future, I'm not wasting my money, as the same dentures can get attached to rods. They offer very low interest financing. I paid cash for a 5% discount. The best option is their insurance program. For $340 a year. It covers routine visits and 20% off my total and 20% off future procedures. I saved $2k+ right off the top. A win win. Implants would be nice, but at the cost of a sports car, is it worth it at an older age? Not to me. This review is my experience from my consultation. Ask for their new patient specials as well . I cancelled my other consultations , as I know this is the right place for my situation. Ultimately the end result will be the true measure. I just know all will be great and within a few weeks I will be able to eat and smile normally again. I highly recommend Klemnent to anybody needing dental work. I was about to give up hope on matters and am so glad the forces pulled me into their office. Thank You Klemnent, you are a Godsend .

Negative experience: My doctor and her assistant talk too much on the day my appointment (and forgot to pay attention what she doing). I don’t know if she over drilled my tooth or not cause after they done I start feeling a lot of pain. Even though I got permanent crown I still feeling pain. And now they start to say maybe because of my root canal I just wonder why they don’t mention before they put permanent crown in. To be honest I really disappointed I feel like they find the way to make to you spend money all the time.

Negative experience: I just had a follow up and cleaning. Thinking it was part of my previous plan i paid. No one said otherwise until after my visit and dropped a bill on me. Highly dissatisfied and wouldn’t recommend. Should really inform people of possible charges before starting. Glad I’m never going back. Just to update. They didn’t send the bill for 6 months and they tripled the charge amount and added services never rendered. Garbage company

Negative experience: The only thing that I went to this clinic was business hour, starting from 7am to 7pm and open on Saturday. The service of this clinic is below average. Do not make your crown here. They make your crown ugly and lab techs don't know how to create crown.

Negative experience: I switched to Klement a few years back and everything was great and then on my most recent appointment, I was told it’s “their policy” to get updated X-rays. I told them I wanted to decline and just have a cleaning due to insurance issues, but they wouldn’t let me. It has felt like they have been upselling to bring in more profit. Extremely frustrating

I’ve always felt that my teeth are the worse from my chipped tooth being bigger than the rest making the other look chipped. I’ve always heard dentist are ready to install a fake tooth. I been hesitant to fix for that reason. But when I pitched the tech and said “can we safe my tooth?” “Can you just file it down to my other tooth size?” And she said “maybe but let’s ask the doctor.” I thought “ great well here goes 2k on a veneer.” He came in and said “we can go ahead and do that temporary if it chips again you will have to consider a crown.” God bless this office in abundance!

Fantastic experience: I've only had 2 appointments here so far, but I barely had to wait to be seen and the staff are so friendly. My hygienist "Kitty" is terrific! She's gentle, but thorough. I have to have Novocaine, even for cleanings because of sensitivity, and Kitty does a great job with those shots! The Dentist is very friendly, calm, and informative. He gives you options for procedures to correct teeth, as far as fillings, crowns, bridges...but doesn't push you to do anything until YOU are ready to take that next step. Refreshing to find someone who doesn't strong-arm the patient into signing on to expensive work immediately! This is my new Dentist office for sure!

Fantastic experience: I was on vacation and developed a tooth ache. I was able to get an appointment the next morning. The dentist determined that I needed a root canal and referred me to an endedontist and I was able to get the tooth taken care of that day. Klement dentistry was friendly and welcoming and very professional. If I lived here I would certainly choose them to take care of my dental needs.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Klement Family Dental now for about 15 years and have had a positive experience every visit. They are professional, personable, caring, they listen and coach well, and offer mild sedation for "nervous nellies" like me. Their atmosphere is beautiful. Their hygienists are the best and work around my very sensitive teeth. The doctor's work done on my teeth was excellent. I highly recommend this team.

Negative experience: Sells Smiles, not dentistry. 5 star to brush your teeth, 1 star to fix anything. They also offer payment plans, but send them off to a finance company (no risk or responsibility). Great facilities, but a dentist factory, for children with no issues, nothing family about them. Myself, I have booked a flight to Cancun, for 25% of the cost

Been putting off finding a dentist for at least 4 years.. or more! And then I broke a tooth took a chance went to Klement family dental... it was midnight when I broke my front tooth and had a heavy work week ahead of me. I was able to book an emergency appointment online and got in the next morning. I figured my chances were half hazard... I can't say enough. My experience was so fantastic so quick... my tooth looks great, hell it looks better lol. The pricing was up front and very affordable. But the best news is I have found a dentist!!! DMD PORTMANN is my dentist. She is soooo gentle and talented. I have already booked future appointments and am looking forward to having healthy, good-looking teeth!!!
