The office is bright, clean, and clearly designed with kids in mind — my child actually looked forward to going to the dentist! A huge shoutout to Mehgane, the dental hygienist - she is truly the BEST! Mehgane was incredibly kind, patient, and made the whole experience fun. She explained everything to my child in a way that was comforting and easy to understand. Her warm smile and gentle approach made a big difference, especially during what could have been a stressful appointment. If you’re looking for a pediatric dentist who truly cares about their patients — and a staff that goes above and beyond — I highly recommend this office. Mehgane alone is worth the visit! ⸻

From the moment you walk in, it feels more like a fun kids’ play zone than a dental office. The atmosphere is vibrant, the decor is creative, and the staff? Straight-up all-stars. Dr. Morrow and the whole team are absolute professionals who treat your kids like their own. They’re patient, warm, and insanely good at making little ones feel comfortable (and even excited!) about their visit. My child left smiling from ear to ear—literally. If I could give 10 stars, I would. MLK Dentistry is that good. Don’t walk—RUN to book your appointment!

Negative experience: Dr. Morrow was very rude, even mean, to my 5 year old. He scolded him for closing his eyes, would not let him cry at all and told him to “quit getting mad, quit yelling at me.” Then when my son said ow, he told him, “This doesn’t hurt. There’s no reason you need to cry and yell at me.” He was barely starting to cry and was being very brave for a FIVE year old. He then came out and gave me some speech on how he was just setting boundaries and not letting him break those rules. That he has to learn that in life. Again, he’s five. In our house it’s okay to cry and if something hurts, only you know, it’s your body. He was getting a crown and two fillings and was handling it like a champ. I will be finding a new dentist. This was the final straw after some of the staff has also had a bit rough bedside manner for kids. Overall the friendliest person/people there are the ones at the front desk. Not the experience I want for my kids.

Fantastic experience: Can’t say enough good things. Everything runs so smoothly and the staff is so friendly. They squeezed us in immediately when my son broke his front teeth and had him fixed up in just a few hours.

Negative experience: Two strikes. We’re done. Last time they scared her…this time I asked not to do it again…and the hygienist attacked her teeth/gums and she left in tears from excessive roughness in cleaning. My sis in law is a hygienist in OKC and there’s no need for such aggressive treatment. I could tell she wasn’t happy that we were skipping fluoride…and the dentist was gruff when he made his short appearance. We won’t be back and if your child has any fear of a dentist then this is not your home. There is no love of the practice. The front desk seemed far more concerned to make her have a good experience than the caregivers in the back. It’s so frustrating. No cavities and she was in tears. Not acceptable. At all.

Negative experience: First, MLK offered a gift card in exchange for a Google review. Then during a check up, they quickly decided that my child needed 6 crowns. I asked for more details and the response was, “Well we can NOT do them if you want” and the dentist walked off. We then went to a different dentist and they suggested one crown vs 6. I do not recommend them.

Fantastic experience: We love all the staff at MLK pediatric dentistry! Everyone is so patient and kind. We are happy knowing our kids are in good hands when we come here.

Fantastic experience: We’ve gone to three different dentist in town and have been coming here for about a year and a half and my daughter loves this dental practice. She actually looks forward to her dental appointments. I don’t know any other five-year-old who is excited about getting a dental exam, which was not the case at our old dentist. The staff are super friendly, the office dog is sweet and the waiting room is amazing. The goodie bags the kids get are great. At one of our appointments, we realized neither my husband, nor I had our daughter on our dental insurance and they worked some magic to make our self pay as low as possible, and provided us a letter to give to our employers to help us get her onto insurance.

Negative experience: Dr. Kitterman does not have the positive personality you would hope for in a pediatric dentist. She made little effort to educate and showed absolutely no care or empathy. The number of positive reviews here is hard to believe.

Fantastic experience: The staff and Dentist were very patient and worked to make my son comfortable to get his cleaning and check up completed successfully. They did a wonderful job and we have happy shiny teeth. Thank you!

Negative experience: We were patients at MLK Pediatric Dentistry for more than 6 years. That ended the day my son required more than a routine dental cleaning. Last week he received a filling, and it was handled so archaically that I’m struggling to comprehend how they stay in business. Despite me asking that they give my son a moment longer because I could see he was stressed, I was told to leave the room (they do not allow parents to remain with their children). When my son began to panic, cry, and fight physical restraint, my husband and I both reentered the room because the three dental assistants would not let him up. I was then scolded by one, who said she’d “been doing this job for 23 years.” (What a scary thought.) In retrospect I wish we had left right then, but we chose to stay with the unspoken understanding that we were NOT leaving the room again…and it was awful. My son was held down by three people while the dentist, Kerry, did the quickest filling imaginable. I struggle to imagine it was effective or necessary. My son screamed like I’ve never heard before. His face, torso, and hands were restrained. I have now read multiple similar reviews and talked to friends who had nearly identical experiences; I only wish I’d known beforehand so I could’ve spared my son. I had told MLK dentistry numerous times that my son has dental anxiety, but it seems they didn’t care whatsoever. Clearly this is their approach to fear: physical restraint and parents kept at a distance. The entire staff and especially the dentists at MLK Pediatric Dentistry need to seriously reevaluate their ethics and how their practices strip their young patients of bodily autonomy. If it would be illegal to do to an adult, they shouldn’t be doing it to children.

The office is welcoming and fun for kids with things to keep them entertained while waiting, like a ship play structure, fish in aquariums, and video games. My daughter gets bummed that she doesn’t get to play long enough because the wait is always short. The staff is friendly and takes time to make kiddos feel comfortable. My daughter loves the tvs on the ceilings she can watch while getting cleaned. The dentists are thorough, taking time to explain everything to kids and parents. When my daughter needed sealants on her teeth, they had an area where I could watch through the glass. Aside from the gas, they were friendly and kind, keeping her calm and comfortable. I recommend MLK wholeheartedly - you’re not going to find a better facility, staff, or dentists anywhere!

The staff members are kind and patient when working with toddlers who are still learning how to go to the dentist. Their free until three program has been a perfect way to introduce our kids to the importance of dental cleanings.

Fantastic experience: My children have been seen by Drs. Morrow, Lai and Kitterman since they were toddlers and we have always been very pleased. The staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. They have always communicated with us about procedures and treatment. We have never experienced any issues and absolutely love this dental office. Both of my children are older now and can be seen in an adult practic, but prefer to be seen here. We highly recommend this dental practice!

Negative experience: I really don't like leaving bad reviews on businesses, but I feel like I need to caution people about this place. My 5yo child came in for a regular teeth cleaning and was found to have two minor cavities. Dr Morrow labeled my child as "high anxiety"... and to be fair, she has had some nervousness around dental visits, but nothing I would consider particularly extreme or unusual. He gave her a cavity treatment plan of full crowns on both teeth, HEAVILY persuading me to sedate her for the procedure ($2,000 out of pocket cost). I couldn't even get them to give me a quote for a nitrous oxide option because they were so adamant that sedation was necessary. Oh, and also that I would not be allowed in the room with my 5yo during the procedure, with or without sedation. We went to get a second opinion from my regular non-pediatric dentist. He had way more gentle bedside manner than anyone we have encountered at this office, and was almost immediately able to alleviate her anxiety with just a little patience and care. He was able to fix her cavities with a 20 minute procedure requiring no sedation and no numbing shot even! Why did Dr Morrow feel the need to recommend such an extreme treatment plan for my child? Could it be because giving her crowns would allow them to collect a minimum of $2400 for the procedure? (more than 9 TIMES what my other dentist ended up charging us for a basic surface filling!?) Or was it that my child was labeled as anxious, and Morrow didn't have the patience to work with her to alleviate her anxiety? Or did he really think crowns were necessary for a very small cavity? I can't think of any explanation that would answer this question to my satisfaction.

Negative experience: If you are going to take your child for regular dentistry, this place is alright. They have toys, tv’s, and other distractions in the waiting room. 2 of the dentists are decent with kids and one is problematic for both kid and adult interactions. They have good toy options, too. If you need anything more than general dentistry, like a filling or worse, I would highly suggest a second opinion. We went from them quoting $2400-3000 for a giant operation to a local dentist office checking, then doing the procedure for $300 that was done in 20 minutes. Most of that cost is because they will pressure general anesthesia as dealing with kids is difficult. If you never have a need for anything beyond the basics, then this place is pretty solid. If you get the dentist that treats you like you are a bad parent for having kids that are kid-like, then you aren’t crazy and your experience will be better if you let them know you don’t want your kid to see that dentist again. That should improve your experience. Best of luck out there. It is hard to find a pediatric dentist. The dentist we went to cracked jokes and put her at ease before starting any procedures. That was unfortunately missing here.

Fantastic experience: We love MLK! Our little has been coming since she was a baby. The 3 and under program is wonderful and helps set us up with good habits! Now that our little is pre-k age she loves coming to the dentist. The office is perfectly catered for little big energy and the staff is amazing and so helpful!

Now I am here with both kids and they absolutely live up to the reviews. First, the office is super kid friendly. Second, the customer service is exceptional. They truly make you feel wanted here. Positive experience: I used to love this place, but I don't think I'm going to bring my child back here anymore. The hygienists and receptionist are always great, but this most recent trip, the dentist claimed that my child needed to see his orthodontist for a reason that he was never diagnosed with. I called his orthodontist to confirm this and was told that no, that wasn't the reason for his visit last time and for my son's situation, he doesn't even need to be seen for another 6 months. It just makes me doubt the credibility of the dentist. The time before that we went, the dentist acted a bit rude. Maybe we just happened to come in on two off days, but all the same, I think I'm going to just try someplace else.

My 4 year old has extremely bad dental anxiety, but Jennifer, & Dr.Lai were so patient through the entire appointment today, even with all her screams. We learned she likes to sit up to get her cleaning. I appreciate you both so much. I also appreciate Lori & Dr.Lai for taking care of my other daughter as well. My 6 yo has some pretty intense dental anxiety and and they treated him with love and respect.

Fantastic experience: I took my almost 1 year old daughter here for her first dentist appointment this morning. The front desk staff were kind and welcoming and the lobby had fun activities to keep her occupied while we waited. Just observing other kids in the waiting room it’s clear that they are not scared to come to the dentist and they love the activities they can do while they wait. Dr. Lai was knowledgeable and helped the exam go quickly and smoothly despite a baby who did not want her mouth looked at. I was very pleased with the experience and am looking forward to future visits!

The decor is like something right off of a Pinterest page. The wait didn’t even feel like a wait because we were having so much fun on the pirate ship, coloring and looking the fish. These amazing people are so kind and made his first dentist visit amazing!♥️

Fantastic experience: Been coming to Dr. Morrow since I was a child!! Love the staff and doctors. I brought my daughter as soon as she could come and she’s now 11. It’s a wonderful place that I highly recommend!! Kids are not scared to be here. TV’s on the ceiling above each station and although it’s not necessary, they leave w a goodie bag.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful dental office, the entire staff from checking in, to cleaning, and exam are so kind and VERY patient. The kids have lots of fun things to do while waiting on the appointment as well. My daughter isn’t the most pleasant during dental or dr visits. She gets so stressed and upset. I really appreciate how patient and kind Molly is with my daughter. She is a saint in my eyes. Dr Morrow is awesome too and helped calm my daughter to get her dental exam completed. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: What’s not you like? Office staff are all very friendly and helpful. Office is always clean and comfortable. Places for kids to play, fish tank, movies, and coloring pages so there is something for all ages. Having a kid who just has more decay than most we have experienced a few visits at other offices where we were made to feel like we did something wrong but at MLK Dr. Morrow was very friendly and explained some kids just have more issues with their teeth. A previous office we used also had a very weird billing system that caused bills to appear months later after we paid in full on the day of service, we have not had that issue here and they seem to be very knowledgeable about insurance and billing practices. MLK has used proactive methods to improve my sons oral health rather than reactive. We will continue to make the 45 minute drive for care of this quality!

Fantastic experience: I take both of my kids to MLK and they love it! The waiting area is full of coloring tables, fish tanks, and a wooden ship to play on. The staff is so friendly and make us feel very comfortable.

Fantastic experience: My toddler fell and chipped her front teeth and Dr. Lai was able to get her in for a visit ASAP! We had just switched insurances and were so sad to have to leave our previous pediatric dentist but we are so happy we ended up switching! The office is full of fun things for kids to do and the experience isn’t rushed like our last pediatric office was. They leave with a bag full of goodies (like actual fun prizes) every time and my kids both LOVE the doctors and hygienists! Nothing but good things to say and we love Dr. Lai!

Fantastic experience: MLK makes the appointment experience easy for parents and patients. They are friendly, thorough and skilled. This is the kind of office I would have loved as a child and I’m glad they are here for my daughter!
