Fantastic experience: I haven't been to the dentist in YEARS and I was pretty nervous walking in but Dr. Hoover and his staff put me at ease instantly. The whole process from check in to check out was flawless. I could not have chosen a better team for my teeth.

She also provides great, informative info on dental care. I typically see Dr. Gore and have for 25+ years and he is fantastic! But he was not in the office today and I believe it was Dr. Geitano who checked my teeth today and she was very nice and professional. All smiles for me!

Negative experience: I don't recommend going here.They texted me 15 times plus for the appointment, and then when I got there, they didn't know why I was there and couldn't do what needed to be done. They did a consultation in April new exactly what needed to be done at that time. it's poor management on there end all that needed to be done was a tooth pulled.

Fantastic experience: Getting cavities filled is always worrisome but Dr. Harris makes it a very calm experience. TV overhead tilted where I could watch while she worked, communicating each step as she goes AND she reached out to me the next day to see how I was!!!! Talk about great customer service! I would recommend her to everyone.

Fantastic experience: Always an amazing experience. I maximize my health benefit by going 3 times/year and it's always a lovely visit. Even though I don't like the dental process, per se, my hygienist (Jessica) and dentist (Dr. Hoover) make it stress free, comfortable, and an excellent experience. I truly can't say how much I appreciate Midlothian Dental Center. I am so thankful to have found them and to be a proud patient for over 14 years.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience! Everyone was so polite, the hygienist was AMAZING with my history of PTSD and being hearing impaired. It was so easy to book the appointment by text due to my hearing. I love that they did everything right there, explained the process and then explained the next steps thoroughly. The doctor was so nice as well! Definitely going to keep this place as my dentist from now on, as I’ve had bad luck at other places in the past.

Fantastic experience: I arrived 10 minutes early. Reception checked me in immediately. I did not have to do any paperwork because I completed it prior to arriving- they sent me a link. The waiting room had plenty of seats and was very modern. My hygienist came to greet me and brought me to her operatory at my scheduled time. She was very pleasant and explained what she was doing as well as what she observed. She was very experienced and did a great job cleaning my teeth and also took x-rays because I was due. The dentist who performed my exam also took the time to explain what I needed for treatment. The building was very clean and smelled clean as well. The entire staff I interacted with was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Great experience!

Positive experience: I scheduled a new-patient appointment with Dr. Jared Hoover for a cleaning and evaluation of a problem tooth. Dr. Hoover's care was outstanding. However, upon I soon learned the appointment covered only the tooth assessment, necessitating me to take additional time off work to schedule the cleaning separately.

Fantastic experience: I had a root canal done. It’s obviously not a fun time, but the team was very professional and helpful through the whole operation. They made the operation as easy and painless as possible, and gave me a quick break when I needed it.

Fantastic experience: I had a dental emergency late yesterday afternoon when a freak accident involving my two year-old and a golf club left two of my front teeth chipped and broken. Not only was it painful, but with the long Memorial Day weekend approaching, I was really worried I’d be stuck like that for days. Thankfully, Dr. Tad Mosher went above and beyond. Despite it occurring after hours on Thursday, right before a holiday weekend, he fit me in on Friday morning and took care of everything quickly and professionally. I’m incredibly grateful for him and his team’s responsiveness, skill, making me feel welcome, and the compassion shared throughout the procedure. I can’t recommend Midlothian Dental Center enough! They truly saved the holiday weekend!

Fantastic experience: Jessica was so amazing, everyone there cared about me and getting me in on the schedule. The schedule coordinator was so sweet she got me in the next day even me comen in late . Dr. Mosher and his assistant were so nice. Dr. Mosher is very particular about his work and I wish I would have gone to him sooner.

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars to this place I would. I started looking for a new dentist once our family moved to Chesterfield. I was excited about this dentistry since it had so many wonderful reviews. However, what I got was a lot of upselling and the most terrible dental work I have ever had! They did a filling on the front teeth, which looked terrible: they left a pretty wide space between the 2 front teeth. The Dr graciously agreed to redo that filling free of charge. That time the filling looked better but a part of it fell out just a few months later. I got pregnant at that time and had to deal with that issue until after I had my baby. I decided not to go to the same Dr to redo it the second time, and had to pay for that same filling to get done again. I also got a crown done at MDC, which I kept getting bills for for a few weeks. The tooth apparetly had a crack in it, and they just did the crown without having the specialist look into the root canal. My tooth kept hurting and still hurts almost 2 years after they performed the work on it. They adjusted the bite a few times and said that I probably needed to get the root canal done at that point. I think it is just ridiculous to get a filling in a crown that was so expensive in the first place! And again, because the insurance limit was used up I had to wait until the renewal and then got pregnant within that time frame. I still cant chew on that side of the mouth, and just had another dentist confirm that I definitely need a root canal done and will have to have a filling in that crown! They also told me that I had to get a few more teeth treated. However, I had another dentist confirm that the rest of my teeth were just fine. Please, save your money and your teeth and go somewhere else.

Negative experience: Dr Harris is completely out of touch and lives in a little bubble. She fully expects someone who is working 2 jobs and financially struggling to feed their own children to pay money out of their own pocket to cater to her and her son. How many struggling Americans are hurt by Dr Harris? Does she think that people who are suffering are delivering things to her out of the kindness of their heart? My entire shift at work and a 1/2 tank of gas was stolen from me by this woman when I'm barely able to keep the electricity on for my family.

Fantastic experience: Ashley is so knowledgeable and gentle. A dental visit is not high on my list, but she makes it relaxing and sprinkles in a little fun.

Fantastic experience: I get my teeth cleaned 3 times a year and I see many different hygienists. They are all great! I recently had to get a crown to repair a cracked tooth. I was dreading it, but it was not a bad experience. My new tooth looks great and it is exactly the same size and shape as the original so my retainer still fits.

Fantastic experience: My first visit was better than expected, very friendly and informative staff. They came up with close to the same solution as my previous dentist, which I only left because she was not in my works network of insurance companies. Hearing that same idea of a path to help me was very reassuring!!

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a new dentist since my previous providers quality has greatly declined since new ownership. MDC staff listened to my concerns and suggested a good match. Im happy to say Joanna is knowledgeable, detailed, has great communication, and even paused a few times to make sure I was comfortable. The best cleaning and explanation of xrays I’ve ever had. The process was seamless, nicely automated, but still very personal from beginning to end. Dr. Tart was genuine, and also gave me the feeling that he has my best interest at heart. A trustworthy, competent Dental practice is hard to find. Im lucky to have landed at MDC. If Joanna leaves though, Im following her. :)

Negative experience: I went to Midlothian Dental Center for the best Dentist but he has recently retired. My experience has changed with the new Dentist and hygienist. The communication and keeping me informed is disappointing. I went in for a crown and was told a filling was added to today’s visit. I never felt comfortable during my procedure. I know dental work is never fun but I’d like to feel cared about and see the attempt to make the experience as good as it can be.

Both the dental assistant, Alexis, and hygienist, Ashley, are wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable and professional, explaining everything and adjusting to make sure that I was comfortable. Ashley had previously given me a fantastic piece of advice about which toothpastes to avoid which may cause extra tooth stains, and that made a huge difference to the appearance of my teeth. I appreciated the promptness of being seen, but never felt that they needed to rush to the next patient. Dr. Gore is was very attentive and friendly, and answered all my questions. Thank you for such terrific care

Fantastic experience: If you're like me and have intense dental/oral anxiety, even if that includes a lot of self consciousness about the state of your teeth, this is a practice you should absolutely check out. I didn't feel judged or looked down upon, just felt their compassion and their desire to help ease my nerves. I see Dr Harris and that's the only dentist there that I personally have experience with. I've heard great things about the other dentists, just no personal experience. I 100000% recommend Dr Harris. Shannon (or maybe it was Shauna) was the most recent hygienist who cleaned mine (absolutely recommend her, very gentle while being thorough) and Jose (his name may not be Jose, but it was close and similar, sorry my memory is terrible currently) was assisting her and he was great, too. The care and compassion they show made my most recent cleaning world's better and easier for me, which eased my general anxiety about dental cleanings. I can't say if their pricing is more, less, or the same as other dental practices because I genuinely don't know. I do know that even if it is a tiny bit higher than others, I'm willing to pay a tiny bit more for compassionate, judgement free dental care. Again, I'm not saying it is more expensive (I just pay and run, try to think about it as little as possible lol). I'm just saying even if it is, I'm ok with that in this situation. TL/DR: If you're anxious and/or self conscious about your teeth but in need of dental work and/or a cleaning, check this practice out. My specific recommendation is for Dr Harris, since I have personal experience with her.

Fantastic experience: I have had absolute terrible luck with dentists over the last 5+ years to say the least. I finally had a great experience today, largely in thanks to Ashley, my hygienist. From the initial greeting, Ashley made me feel comfortable and welcome, and proceeded to perform an absolute stellar cleaning while also displaying her wealth of knowledge. This was the first time in years I felt like someone was actually paying attention and listening to me while offering solutions and advice versus just trying to sell me something or find a way to up-charge me somewhere else. I was impressed with their up to date technology and overall friendliness from all staff, including the dentist. I am so happy and very much relieved that I found this dentist office, I just wish I found them sooner!
