Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience. They were able to get me in right away when I had a crown come loose. Professional and friendly staff.
Negative experience: Evergreen Dental in Evergreen, Colorado, provided extremely disappointing care to both me and my child. We paid in advance for a full Invisalign treatment for my child, but before our move out of state, they only provided one aligner tray...far short of what was promised. When I explained we were relocating and couldn’t return to Colorado, I requested at least a partial refund for the unfinished treatment. Evergreen Dental refused any refund, leaving us with incomplete care and no recourse. Separately, I also never received the final retainer that is supposed to be provided to maintain results after my own treatment. When I saw my new orthodontist, they were shocked and concerned that no retainer had been given to me and that my child’s treatment was left unfinished. I will file a complaint with Delta Dental of Colorado and am reporting this situation to the Colorado Dental Board. If you’re considering orthodontic treatment here, be very cautious. Make sure you get clear, written details about exactly what will be provided, when, and what refund options exist if your circumstances change. In our experience, we paid thousands of dollars and were left with incomplete treatment and missing appliances, without any accountability or resolution.

Fantastic experience: 11/10 service! I called yesterday morning as a new patient with a chipped front tooth. The receptionist was incredibly welcoming and got me scheduled the next day. Dr. Fitzgerald was amazing, I was all fixed up in 20 minutes, with some good jokes along the way and a nice gesture of him providing me with a significant discount due to having no insurance. Fantastic experience: I am 72 years old and will admit that due to a nightmare experience when I was a child, I've had a terrible fear of walking into a Dentist's office. Not anymore. Not since the first time I went to Evergreen Dental for an emergency. My first Dentist (Dr. Jeff) was wonderful but has since retired (I had an emotional breakdown)! My new Dentist is Dr. Erik Fitzgerald and he too is wonderful. But the miracle is my Dental Hygienist Wendy. When I go there every 4 months, I actually find my time in the chair relaxing (yes, I am serious), as I need nothing to calm me down due to her experience and gentle touch. Every person I have ever dealt with through the years at Evergreen Dental Group has been a pleasure and made me feel welcome and appreciated. I cannot recommend a Dentist’s Office more highly!

Negative experience: I’m different than the average person and have been in healthcare myself. This place gives standard, box checked cookie cutter care, that most people find fully acceptable. I am a minimalist and have family history of aggressive brain tumors. My hygienist refused to just clean my teeth and will not see me without ex rays every 2 years. Well. I don’t want my head exrayed 25 more times over my life span. She refused to chart/note that I refused the exrays and wouldn’t let me sign anything to relieve her of the liability she said she was under without them. Everyone is nice in the office but I found my hygienist unkind to me, my experience, and failed at meeting me, the patient, where I am. I am willing to do an ex ray if there is any indication of an issue, but don’t want the ‘prevention’ of these ex ray protocols because I have had medical harm previously by well intended healthcare professionals and have been willing to get 3 cleanings a year to stay on top of my dental health. I don’t respect or appreciate having my autonomy overpowered by a ‘well intended’ professional who believes, because of an education, that she knows better for my body than I do. Because I was overdue for the cleaning I made the choice to concede and do the exrays. I cried during my cleaning because I felt forced and disrespected into violating my own principles and care because I can’t clean my own teeth. The hygienist used that time to reiterate how right she was about exrays every 2 years. Yes, while I cried. Nice is not the same as kind. I need a more mature, nuanced, respecting professional that coordinates care with me, not controls or demands. Righteousness with a smile and soft voice is still righteous. After all of the failings across all of healthcare, I find it deeply concerning when professionals can’t or won’t acknowledge that they could ever be off or wrong or misguided, or that cookie cutter care will not serve everyone because people have different priorities and concerns. It is absolutely reasonable to refuse this and receive a simple cleaning. To not clean my teeth and force an extra procedure should be unethical, but it’s American healthcare, so of course it’s unreasonable. Don’t go here if you are empowered and question standard healthcare for yourself. I will not be back. Neither will my family.

Positive experience: Prompt, very competent and pleasant attitude. But VERY expensive. Over $420 just to re-cement a perfect crown. I’ll be looking elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Staffing shortage impacted my appointment, and I saw a temporary hygienist, and he was absolutely wonderful. Dr. Holly has left the practice to become an orthodontist, so that was sad, but willing to hang with EDG as they have served me well ever since Dr. Sprout started the practice.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was so nice! I was blown away by their facility. Very high tech! Which I was thankful for, as I have a very difficult time with the wing technique x-rays. They had a machine that just spun around my head, and done! The staff was very knowledgeable and very efficient in their roles! I’m a new and now loyal patient! Fantastic experience: From the minute I called the office I knew this was the place for me! Everyone was so friendly, helpful and kind. That was in 2020 and I had just moved to Evergreen. I was dealing with a minor dental emergency. They got me in right away (same day)—and Dr. Fitzgerald was awesome!! Fixed my problem so fast and effectively! Fast forward to 2025 and this is still the best dental office! I’ve since had the best experiences every time I am there. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing! If you have any dental anxiety at all, look no further than Evergreen Dental. They go above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable and offer comfort options like you're at a spa . Eliza did my cleaning and was super friendly and personable and took great care of my sensitive teeth. Dr. Narkter was great and answered all my questions. Angie was fun to chat with while I waited. They even give you a sweet little gift as a first time patient. 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had been experiencing a tooth ache on an upper right molar for a couple of weeks. I was also experiencing sinus pain on that side. Dr Burns of Evergreen Dental was able to see me immediately. After X-rays he determined that the tooth root was infected. But it was complicated because the root had four prongs and one of them extended into the sinus cavity. It was even more complicated because the other prongs were very close to extending into the sinus cavity. There was very little protective bone. These complications made the extraction extremely complicated and delicate. I was prepared for the worst. Damage to the sinus could require serious surgery. Dr Burns was able to extract the infected tooth and all four root prongs without doing any damage to the sinus or bone. This was amazing. Looking at my X-ray, the prongs were thin and long. The skill he used was as good as gets. I am very thankful. BTW, the whole procedure was almost painless. I highly recommend Dr Burns and Evergreen Dental. He is the best dentist I have ever had.

Fantastic experience: I can't give enough thumbs up to Evergreen Dental. At my routine check-up, it was discovered I needed some dental work before I could move forward to address a different time-sensitive health concern. Cindy in scheduling, and then Dr Gordon and Dr Fitzgerald, all worked to expedite my appts, and got me taken care of in what felt like record time, all during a very stressful time for me. Negative experience: Made an appt via phone over a week ago. I specifically requested that I not be given X-rays during the call. The person in the office agreed to schedule me. Upon arrival this morning; the dentist and hygienist refused to perform a basic cleaning, sighting the need for X-rays. I'm not disputing their requirements for X-rays, simply unhappy that the office agreed to schedule my cleaning and then I got a different story when I arrived at the appointment. Total waste of time and unprofessional.

There are some instances where x-rays are not required, but we cannot know for sure until we have you in the chair. With you being a new patient here and without having any of your previous dental records, our hygienist did not feel comfortable moving forward with your cleaning. Fantastic experience: Felt an update to my review was in order. Just wanted to again applaud Dr . Erik Fitzgerald and his DA Danny. Both are simply exceptional and I can't recommend them highly enough. Truly some of the very best in the business and both go great lengths to take excellent care of patients. By way of background, I have been a long term patient of Evergreen Dental and originally was blessed with Dr Sprout as my dentist. Jeff decided to retire and I was super aprehensive about having someone fill those rather large shoes. But, Dr Erik Fitzgerald not only has filled those shoes but he's exceeded all my expectations and solved some lingering issues. I can't say enough great things about Dr Fitz and recommend him highly to anyone in need to a great dentist. Also want to recognize his Asst Danny for being exceptional and super great to work with. So, if you're looking for a new dentist ... chose Dr Fitz and you can thank me later.

Fantastic experience: Absolute best office in evergreen or anywhere in Colorado . As a busy, often traveling consultant , I’m often in other cities, and I’ve seen it all with regards to dental offices. After moving to evergreen last year, I’ll admit, I “dentist shopped”. Having a relative in the business, I had a very good idea of what I needed, and I can say this without hesitation - evergreen dental group was the ONLY dentist in town that gave me an honest treatment plan with zero uo charges or “fluff”. EVERY OTHER office in town tried to pad out treatment with unnecessary procedures that were absolutely not needed and increased the cost by thousands . I’m now a lifetime patient of evergreen dental group and will refer everyone here that I know. If you want THE BEST dental office in town I would only recommend evergreen dental group and would absolutely stay away from any other. Thanks EDG!!!

Fantastic experience: Overall my root canal was very well done, however I guess I was spoiled by Dr Sprout when he was my dentist. It never mattered what procedure I or my wife had done, Jeff personally called us that night to see how we were doing. I miss that level of concern for us as patients. I realize that level of care maybe a little above and beyond however it would be nice if the practice would continue that type of consideration.
