Fantastic experience: Ok, first of all, this 5 stars is not forced and based on my own experience and opinion. I had my lower 2 wisdom teeth extraction four days ago. 1st star - They care about your dental health and don't force you to do it. They explain why you need it and don't even do unnecessary stuffs like I saw on TikTok. 2nd star - They care about financials and try to reduce as much as they can. Cause in my case I got around 40% off from the original cost after they adjusted it. 3rd star - The Dr.Kim, a super good guy, fast and don't feel uncomfortable. The assistant girl was also gentle. 4th star - The place is clean, super clean and don't have to wait too long. Just call them ahead and make appointment before you go. They pick up call immediately too. 5th star - I just love it. My first time ever extraction in my 22 years of living, they didn't let me down. Hope to have a good relationship with them for anything in the future.

Negative experience: All the 5 starts you see it’s was a force! Someone comes at your first visit while you are on the chair for dentist to see your teeth and push you to write a review there! If you care about your time and money don’t come here! This was my original review with 5 stars! 3 years ago! I have been here 3 times. They are really helpful and knowledgeable. The first time I need to do a root canal and it went really good , the next two times I did check up and cleaning. I highly recommended! Adding this to my previous review! So at this point I have been here for like 5 years and I am still happy with the work, but they always run late now! And that’s not ok for me more than 15 mints! I have a busy life and I can’t sit around and wait for 40 mints to 1 hour! We all have life and we live in nyc! Time is everything to us! I think they are loosing what they have created, they used to be so on time but not anymore! I don’t think after I’m done with what I have started I would come back! If you are like me and care about your time I don’t recommend it! It’s kind of annoying! I regret choosing this office for my dental care. I didn’t just come here for Invisalign—I also had other dental treatments done, and unfortunately, the overall experience has been consistently disappointing. Not only are they extremely expensive, but they clearly don’t respect patients’ time. I’ve had to wait one to two hours past my scheduled appointment more than once, with no clear communication or apology. It’s incredibly frustrating to invest thousands of dollars into your dental health and be treated like your time doesn’t matter. I’ve even had to leave appointments before being seen because the delays were so long. If you value professionalism, punctuality, and basic respect, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Negative experience: My experience at the dental clinic was deeply disappointing. To begin with, I was not seen by the dentist I had booked an appointment with. Secondly, the dental hygienist assigned to clean my teeth treated me with startling roughness. She ignored my repeated expressions of pain and continued aggressively, causing my gums to bleed excessively—a level of discomfort I’ve never encountered in previous cleanings. When I voiced my concerns, she dismissively insisted her technique was correct, even as the bleeding persisted. This lack of empathy and professionalism left me thoroughly dissatisfied with the service.

Negative experience: Staff has no regard for your time originally booked for 4pm appointment, called me to be seen earlier at 2:30pm arrived 25 min prior, it is now 4:40pm, canceled this has happened twice now.

Negative experience: They are literally just trying to make money off people. They opened a credit card line in my name without my permission. I had to close the account and my score went down by 9 points. Just go somewhere else in the community. They literally force you into talking to the sales man after your appointment. No HIPPA at all because everyone is separated by made shift walls and not actual rooms.

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth's permanent crown done about 2 years ago at a different dental clinic. But it fell off unexpectedly today. At 5:30pm I started calling local clinics to at least temporarily reattach it and to see what happened. Beyond a scaredy smile, I was especially concerned about infection or deterioration. When I explained I was within the area, Dr. Nunez was very nice to schedule me the same evening, examined the situation, did the XRay of the tooth, explained well why it happened, cleaned, and resealed the tooth. Professional, gentle and precise. The price was reasonable. The tooth feels solid in place. To prevent this from re-occuring, the doctor explained the work that would need to be done to strengthen the tooth and apply a different crown. The advice for forward treatment makes total sense. When the original work was done on this tooth at another place 2 years ago, I could tell it would need to be re-done, I just hoped it would last at least 5 years, obviously it didn't. As to experience with this clinic today, no push for anything, the tooth feels good and I very much look forward to be back to address it. In the meantime, Thank You Dr. Nunez and Everyone in the office for helping me today! You have no idea how much I appreciate it!

Positive experience: My dental hygienist Hassan was great and explained everything to me. Quick service and the girls at the front desk were the sweetest! When I first started coming here the wait was reasonable, but now everytime I come here, I wait at least 30-45 minutes before I can be seen. They also called seven times to schedule a dental cleaning over the course of two months when I told them I would call myself later in the year closer to the time I needed the cleaning. They kept calling until I got very angry and asked the front desk to put a note in my file not to call if there isn’t something important (which I asked for a few times before). It’s still more affordable than other dentist offices, so I guess you get what you pay for. Edit: when I finally called back to make my appointment they told me my insurance already covered two cleaning so I can either pay or wait a few more weeks. All of those calls only to find out my cleaning wasn’t even covered is ridiculous.

Negative experience: STAY!!!! AWAY!!!! I’m honestly in shock to see this many good reviews on here (Read the yelp reviews!!) because this was by far, thee worst dental experience I’ve ever had. A typical money hungry dentist who will “find” issues for you so they can charge you an arm and a leg to “fix” it. First of all I’ve never had to wait 45 minutes to be seen in any dentist, a doctor’s office okay sure, but a dental office?? Then when I finally do get there, the girl must’ve been straight out of dental school because she had to redo my xrays a million times and couldn’t get it into my mouth to the point where another one had to step in and take over. You people are nothing but money hungry and its quite sad seeing as a lot of immigrants go to them.

Negative experience: Wow. Wow. Wow. I saw miss Nunez herself and she was so rude. She came in and was sarcastic and then started pulling in the place where I had a tooth infection. Don’t be fooled by the good service of the receptionist, your being sold to (and that would be ok Becasue I needed the service) but here there’s little care about your well-being from Miss Nunez herself. Nope, not putting my money here.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this place. I broke one of my veneers that I got done in Colombia so I went there to get it fixed and they did an amazing job. They matched the color of my veneer and it looks like nothing happened. Also the staff was very kind and the doctor was very professional and did more than I expected. He even corrected another issues that I had. I’m more than happy with this place.

Negative experience: Worst dental place I’ve ever been to in my life. Be warned I would stay very far away. They text you non stop they ask you to bring your ID SS card and Tax id so they can take out a huge loan. I seen right through there big scheme. They definitely try to take advantage of immigrants that don’t know much. They told me my root canals were now broken after having them done they wanted to pull them out right away but not before trying to charge me a thousand dollars per tooth. I’m gonna check to see if there even properly licensed if they are I will definitely file a complaint. They were rude no compassion I could barely fit the X-ray due to extreme pain. They didn’t go by proper procedures didn’t offer antibiotics or pain meds. Not even a advil unbelievably unprofessional. Definitely would even want my worst enemy going to there office. Also they have a sales man with an office feels more like a used car dealership not a Dental office. Run far away !!! Go anywhere but here

Fantastic experience: I’ve been working on straightening my teeth using Invisalign at Núñez Dental & I have to share this… The customer service experience here is top of the line! Communication is solid. I feel at home when I enter. I receive warm greetings, and the same love as everyone else. I’m also a pain in the butt customer haha… I’m late sometimes, or have to cancel due to work but they’re always understanding and never make me feel like a nuisance, which I totally am - just being honest haha. As far as results go, I am very happy with my new straightened teeth! I feel more comfortable & confident (It’s only getting better…). I would like to suggest you check them out and just see how you feel working with them.

Negative experience: Where can I start… I trusted them with all my being when I first step foot in that office about 7years ago. They treated me with respect and took care of some of my concerns then. However, as time went by and I became a regular, it was not the same. The most concerning part was that they got obsessed with giving me root canals. Unfortunately, I realized this after my second root canal. They will use a text system to remind you to go to the office. My health has not been the same since the root canals. They make sure that you sign a form releasing them from any responsibility when they suggest the root canals. This seem very suspicious. The last time they sent me a text for follow up, I texted them and told them that I did not feel comfortable to go back because of my mouth health deteriorating after those root canals. THEY DID NOT BOTHER TO CONTACT ME OR FIND OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. This says a lot. Good luck to anyone going there.

Negative experience: Worst dental office ever. I signed and fully paid (I shouldn't) for the Invisaling treatment, and they also offered me do my cleaning there. -I did it the first time and I got one of my front teeth damaged. -In another appointment for Invisaling, the 'technician' cut my tongue with an instrument. -In another appointment a dentist had to be directed by a technician to use the instruments and also burned my mouth with a liquid that she applied in excess. -Employees are changed often, look like they are interns. -They request payment in advance, so not option to complaint. -They constantly push one to do a review in front of them. They even offer gifts for your reviews. I'm just happy knowing that I don't have to go back there anymore.

Fantastic experience: I came to Nuñez dental yesterday with extreme pain from a cavity. It was the worst pain I had felt consistently since I had my daughter. First off, the appointment process was smooth and didn’t add to my pain. I was greeted by 2 women at the front desk who were kind, professional and very helpful. I was literally in tears from the pain and they were so empathetic and were focused on getting me help asap. I was called as soon as my check in was complete and I had X-rays done. I have A LOT of anxiety around dentists but my fears were eased right away and I truly felt comfortable there. The doctor was honest with me about the process, next steps to fix other teeth and was up front about costs. The financial consultant was surprisingly just as kind when helping me through the payment process. I was approved for care credit payment plan and was brought to the office to start my root canal about 20 minutes later. During this 20 minutes, the front desk team gave me water and offered as much comfort as possible. Another gentlemen gave me time updates and assured me I’d be seen soon. It was clear that they cared. I was brought in and given anesthesia for the root canal. The dental assistant was so kind and even made me laugh a bit. She gave me a pillow for my comfort and made me feel taken care of. The whole procedure went by pretty quickly. When done they spoke to me about my medication, made sure I was feeling ok and I was on my way home. I’ve never experienced service like this at any dentist or doctors office. I’m very impressed at how they center the guest experience and take time to listen to their patients. I’m a Guest Relations Manager for a successful multi unit hospitality group and I was pleased at the way they conduct business and take genuine interest in caring for the people who walk through their doors. I’ve found my new dentist. Thank you to the team there!

Negative experience: A few months I came here to give a review. The staff without a doubt is extremely nice and attentive. You are seen initially by a dental hygienist that does a regular teeth cleaning. The dental hygienist then tells you about a more intense cleaning, and other services they offer. The cleaning is very costly a few g’s but I will tell you it does not last, even with taking care of cleaning your teeth as much as possible. I had a cavities that needed filling, and were taken care of at there other facility. I did not know what to expect since I had not had a cavity since I was a child. I went regardless as a precaution to get them filled to prevent further erosion from the cavity. At this point I had no pain, no sensitivity with eating or drinking any hot/cold beverages. From the beginning I was told my cavities were just superficial and they did not need the filling until later, but instead consider for preventative care. After my visit the first time for my cavity filling the doctor that performed the procedure told me you should be fine, but if anything you might need a root canal. Which was strange because my cavity was superficial. My teeth have been in great condition other than the adult cavities I had now. I left and had pain because the filling had not been filed down all the way. This was explained that bc of anesthetics I wasn’t able to tell th until when to file when I returned because I couldn’t eat without pain or drink anything hot or cold. It hurt to bite down. They filed it down felt better but I was in too much pain and was extremely sensitive to hot and cold, still had pain eating. The third time I went again, this time Dr. Nunez saw me. She told me it sometimes takes a year for people to feel better. To wait it out. It’s been a few months the pain is not as bad. And it still bothers me to even eat popcorn. I’m afraid to go back. Never had I had a bad experience I’ve always taken such good care of my teeth that now as an adult was the first for cavities. Now, I have this issue where I bite certain food, it hurts and bothers me. My mother went here to get her crown done paid out of pocket as I did for the cleaning. Real expensive and the crown doesn’t fit her right. At the end of my initial service they basically compel you and ask for a google review. I was initially happy because I had regular service. So I left a nice review. But after further service I would not recommend anyone to this place.

Fantastic experience: I really love this place! The employees are so nice and patient. I have a fear of the dentist and they have been so supportive. They speak Spanish and English! Also they do payment plans as well! Please come here for your dental needs! The employee C did my xray and it went awesome!

Fantastic experience: Doctors and staff are incredible, I would highly recommend this office for your next trip to the dentist. I didn't have in-network insurance and paid out of pocket. They provided me with a payment plan that best suit me. One of the assistants C, and another assistant was really nice and a great help. I will be returning should I need further dental work.

Fantastic experience: I had a traumatizing experience at a previous dentist office in Jersey 2 years ago so I was very nervous and scared to come to get my root canal but I am so happy to say that they have changed my opinion on dentists. I am now on my 3rd visit and I am confident, comfortable and truly taken care of with such love and compassion. From the second I walk into the office everyone is so sweet and attentive. I love it here! This is where I will be coming for all things dental. I am so grateful to have found them.

Fantastic experience: Even though my insurance unexpectedly did not cover my visit, the entire team at Nunez Dental was extremely helpful with the insurance mixup and offered a courtesy cleanup. They took their time explaining procedures and recommendations. Great bedside manner, clean, professional and speedy service. Will return!
