Fantastic experience: I met with Dr. Michael McKenzie today and it was a great first time experience. He was quite thorough and knowledgeable in his questions being my first time there. His assistant Zaina was very nice and kind. She was attentive to me and my grandkids. This center is fully equipped for all your needs. Jorge did my labs and with one stick he got my blood ( I'm a hard stick). Mariam gave me all my information before leaving and made sure I received all that i needed before leaving. Ashley helped with my grandkids while Jorge drew my blood. As I was leaving i met the Director of facility and he helped with an issue i was having outside. That was the kindest thing anyone can do for someone!! You can tell that these people are people who love what they do and willingly want to help you. I would definitely recommend them to anyone friends and family. God bless you all and thank you for all that you do. Im so happy that I was referred to you!!!

Positive experience: I been going to this clinic for a like 5 years now the medical assistant Maria is very professional and Elena too.

Negative experience: Going to this facility today was the worst experience of my life. The doctor and his medical assistant were kind and good but the staff (office manager, receptionists) were insanely and unreasonably rude. First, I am a patient from the Coral Springs office. I explained to them that I had just come out of the hospital with a medical emergency, and that I was running 10-15 minutes late. The office manager was not just obnoxious and unkind, she was extremely unreasonable, telling me that if I did not get there before 11:55 am (mind you, my appointment was 11:40am, and I had been on hold with her office trying to let them know I was running a few minutes late due to traffic), she would cancel my appointment. She was so cold and uncaring and unkind with a patient that was telling her he was dealing with life-threatening medical emergencies. ZERO KINDNESS, ZERO CONCERN for me, a patient. Second, when I got to the office, I had with me my little dog, who is a registered working dog. The hispanic woman receptionist with brown hair was beyond rude, telling me "that dog cannot enter" even though the dog was in a small crate. She said I needed to "show her proof" and I had no choice but to leave the dog in the car with the AC on during my medical visit. This was a terrible experience filled with unkind behavior by employees of this practice. I will never be returning there again. Insane to be treated so rudely, with such unkindness, with such inconsiderate behavior towards a patient that told them over the phone, and they could verify, that I was in the hospital, dealing with a very serious/dangerous medical condition that has become complicated. I would not recommend a single person to ever consider going to this practice. And might I add, my doctor from the Coral Springs office dropped the ball completely (Coral Springs medical and dental). AVOID/RUN from this place, and the office manager should be fired for her obnoxious and unacceptable conduct. Instead of treating patients with courtesy and kindness, I was treated like a criminal. No one deserves to be treated like I was treated today. Terrible people terrible place.

Negative experience: Today, I had an appointment at Hallandale Medical Center, where I've been going for almost five or six years. Unfortunately, today I was disappointed because the care is no longer the same as before. Now it feels like we're just numbers, everything is rushed, and it's all about computers. Healthcare isn't just about computers. As a patient, I had to prompt the doctor to give me a proper check-up, which is unbelievable. I used to see Dr. Cuestas at that clinic, and he was a true doctor, but sadly, he no longer works there. It's unfortunate that we've reached a point where we are treated as numbers rather than people.

Fantastic experience: The front desk girls were very nice, helpful and friendly, and the technicians and the doctor make you feel very comfortable constantly asking if I was ok and making sure that I wasn’t having any discomfort while being worked on. I would highly recommend this dentist.

My doctor, in particular, was very considerate and paid close attention to my symptoms. My only disappointment was the long wait time. Although my appointment was scheduled for 3:10 PM, I didn’t see the doctor until 3:50 PM. I understand that many patients need care, but in the future, it would be helpful to receive a heads-up about estimated wait times. I hope this can be improved, as everything else was good!

This was a follow up appointment for my Lab results. The Doctor gave me her recommendations to help improve my quality of health. I did not feel rushed. The Doctor made sure I understood my results. However, I had to wait in line to register, and by the time I got to the front, the staff told me I was late and rescheduled my appointment for two weeks later. They didn’t take into account the time I spent waiting in line. This lack of consideration for patients’ time is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the organization’s management.”

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience. I was welcomed by the receptionist they were very helpful to let me visited by the nurse practitioner because Dr. Moya wasn’t available that day. Ms Daphia Collins ARNP she took care of my situation in a very professional way and extremely helpful and kind. Then I had blood work done and I was very concerned because I have extremely difficult veins but the nurse was very gentle and find immediately the vein. Extremely helpful very kind and for myself very positive experience. Then I had the appointment with the dentist Dr. Marlene Rivera-Sotomayor. She was very professional and kind. She explained to me in detail what was necessary to do. Her assistant was very gentle and patient while taking all the Rx. I am positively impressed by the efficiency and professional attitude of all the staff I met at your center

Fantastic experience: As usual the staff was professional and cordial. I needed an appointment before year end and was accommodated with both requests for hygienist and the Doctor. My hymen was terrific, in the past before finding this practice I was nervous, but I'm at ease and relaxed. I like fact that she talks you through each phase. The Doctor gave me her undivided attention and recalled our last visit and my considerations on a procedure due to my medical issues. My issue was resolved professionally, with their usual compassion.

My pcp is there, my podiatrist, my dentist and if they bring more specialists, that is certainly the place I will be going. I had a very bad tooth ache. I called and they fit me in as soon as the next day. Dr. Peña and her staff are the BEST. I had a very traumatic childhood experience with a dentist and was terrified of "them". I had a very difficult situation with my teeth last Wednesday April 3rd, which was solved. Dr. Peña has switched me from being terrified to be at ease when. Visiting the dentist. She is very kind, and friendly professional, efficient, courteous, great dentist and human being. Her assistants, Anita, Marie and her entire staff are awesome. My mouth looked like a halloween pumpkin smile, after I lost almost half my teeth to cancer and until Dr. Peña and her team did my new "smile". They have worked a miracle for me. They are the BEST!

Fantastic experience: I am a patient at Hallandale Dental. My experience has been most professional....I have been fitted with my dentures on today. I must admit that I have a smile that I have not experienced in years. Also the dentures are so comfortable, after my leaving their office I immediately went to have a bite to eat, no discomfort at all, and no gooey denture adhesive needed. I would like to thank Hallandale Dental and the entire staff for such a pleasant experience. I LOVE MY SMILE !!!!!

The location is clean, it smells good, it make you feel welcome. But, we are not perfect, all the information are posted in English and Spanish, not one in creole. Hallandale has a large population of haitian, it should be taken into consideration

Negative experience: I spent an hour between new patient x-rays and dental exam at Hallandale Beach Dental Group office today only to be told at the end of the dental exam that a cleaning would not take place today because there were no appointments...... Why was I scheduled for an appointment then?? This was NOT made clear to me prior to my appointment. I was told at the end of my visit. Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional. I called my dental insurance carrier to advise them of the situation. Most bizarre dental check up I have ever experienced. Super unprofessional and they do not have clear communication with patients. A complete waste of my time!
