Fantastic experience: I had not been to a dentist in almost a decade do to insurance and being busy. As you might imagine I was nervous and embarrassed, but everyone was equally factual and kind to me and so welcoming, no one shamed me, and I left feeling supported and excited to renew an emphasis on my dental health. Facilities are gorgeous and everything is really clean and airy. If this is in your network or budget I don’t know why you would go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: The people who work here are always friendly and very helpful. My dental hygienist, Kelly, is very precise and easy with her cleaning. Appointment times are easy to get and very flexible.

The staff is friendly and pleasant and dental hygienist Laina is the best and from what I could hear from my booth, there was a lot of laughter going on, imagine that; going to the dentist can be terrifying, the sound of the drills...oh my gosh...and people are laughing all over the place. They made sure the whole time I was comfortable that I was not in pain and I am sure I’m coming back.

They got my tooth restored and set up with a temp crown within 24 hours of the initial appointment, and made the whole process as painless as possible. Each action, option, and procedure was explained in easy to understand terms and the pricing and payment options were clearly outlined. She gave me an x-Ray, listened to my concerns, carefully examined my teeth and briefed Dr. Romero on my concerns and what she found during her examination. He then dud his follow-up examination. Fantastic experience: I hadn't been to the dentist since Covid and definitely let my oral care slide which caused me to have an issue with one of my back molars that was very painful. I called Uptown and was able to get an appointment within a day. The staff were so incredible all around! Front desk helped navigate my new insurance which felt more complicated than it should have been and, even though I had some anxiety and embarrassment, I never felt judged. I'm so thankful for the care they provided and glad I found this office to re-start my journey to a healthy smile!

Fantastic experience: Is it wrong to say that I'm so happy my regular dental office didn't think a lost filling warranted getting me on ASAP after waiting the weekend already? Oh well, lol. Even though that filling turned into a crown their willingness to get me in almost immediately speaks volumes. And above all the staff was very professional and friendly.

Positive experience: Due to conflicts in my schedule I was unable to get my usual hygienist. The hygienist I had this time did a good job but it was more painful than I’m used to and I was sprayed with water in my face and running down the back of my neck. Not the most pleasant experience but she was still very nice and apologetic and got the job done. My teeth look great but I can’t wait for my usual hygienist to come back!

Negative experience: I chose this place for my retainers based on the high reviews, but I was extremely disappointed by their misleading pricing and unresponsive customer service, which essentially ghosted me for months. I received my retainers on 09/2024. I asked multiple times about the total cost and was assured that the final price was $681. They mentioned they would try submitting a claim to my insurance to see if any of it could be covered. From 11/2024 to 01/2025, I sent several emails asking about the claim. Initially, they responded sporadically, but since January, they have completely ignored my messages. After all this frustration, I suddenly received an automated text informing me that I owe an additional $157 for extra charges—fees I was never informed about. Despite asking multiple times, at no point did anyone mention that I might have to pay more than the original $681. I highly recommend finding another place that actually respects its customers.

Jaime, the hygienist was very nice and explained things as she went along. I look forward to having her as my new hygienist. Dr.Romeo was extremely welcoming and immediately puts you at ease. Am looking forward to my follow up and cleaning 6 months from now and will schedule getting my gold crown before that time. Hopefully, after this, I can change my 4 stars to 5 stars. This is a great Dental office and I feel at home here . So glad that I chose Uptown Dental as my new dental provider.

Fantastic experience: Love this place!! From the time you walk in to the time you leave. Staff is friendly. Doc is excellent. Atmosphere is beautiful. There was no pressure*. Xrays and cleaning done! See you in 6 months. * Every other dental place I went always told me i need a deeper cleaning and it costs this much and your insurance will cover. Or you need a crown and we need to do it now, because it'll break, plus your insurancewould cover most of it. Smh! So I would never go back.
