She explained everything so thoroughly and made me feel completely comfortable, even with my own background in dentistry. The entire staff was so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The office itself was very clean, modern, and overall such a great environment. Fantastic experience: JULY 3, 2025- Today I met Dorothy another wonderful hygienist. She was very kind and knowledgeable and explained in detail exactly what she was doing and took into consideration my concerns of possibly having a coughing spell during my teeth cleaning. She adjusted the chair to accommodate me and fortunately I was fine. She explained the plan moving forward and was just so friendly. It was an awesome experience. I also saw Kara on my way out who also makes me feel so welcome and special. This is such a wonderful office with the nicest and caring people. I know I am getting the best care and I always leave the office feeling happy.

Fantastic experience: Update!! All work done!! Cleaning done, filling done . No pain!! Reception people are awesome, dentist, Dr Tubio and Dorothy my hygienist are wonderful. I am a weannie!! The staff got me in on 2 last minute visits. The Dr listened and explained what I was experiencing. I am so grateful. And I am actually looking forward to getting my teeth in order!!

Fantastic experience: I love Cape Vista Dental! The staff is friendly, welcoming, and makes you comfortable (which is very important to me, especially because of my dread of the dentist). My hygienist and dental assistant were EXTREMELY understanding of my uneasiness, very professional, and calming! Fantastic experience: I'm fairly new to Cape Vista Dental. I'd gone to a small private practice for years until my dentist retired. Well what a shock to see all that I'd missed out on. Modern technology, I was able to see my X-rays immediately. There's an X-ray machine that even speaks to you. Welcome to 2025! .There's scripture written on items in the lobby. Clean modern. Beautiful office. They have an advisor to explain your insurance coverage and explain what's covered and your patient responsibilities. I love knowing up front. I needed a deep cleaning and the dental hygienist was professional and non judge-mental. My dentist is Dr Tubio she has an excellent bedside manner took her time, kept me calm. I've let everyone know about my experience and I' think my former dentist retiring was a Godsend! Thanks to the team at.Cape Vista Dental I have a new dentist that I plan to keep!

I’ve always gone to the dentist every 6 mos. but had an irrational fear of going. My hygienist Dorothy makes me feel like family and seems to always put me at ease. My husband took me there and they explained everything to him and he couldn't stop talkingb abour how he was impressed with them. I referred my brother n law to them and he will be having them do his dental work. He to told me they were amazing. If you need Dental work I would STRONGLY recommend you go to them. Positive experience: I've been a patient since March 2023 since moving back to Florida. I love my hygienist, Dorothy, and my dentist, Dr.Sun. They are totally professional and thorough. Recently, I had a hiccup with the practice and my insurance. Hopefully it gets worked out so I can continue to go there. I might have to find another practice that takes my insurance.

Fantastic experience: Let me start by saying I'm the biggest baby when it comes to needles and dental work. I had an unexpected job change and lost insurance for the dentist I've had for years, forcing me to look for someone new. So to say my anxiety about this was high is really an understatement. I went to my first visit with x-rays and the plan for action, then to be honest I just put it off. And then it happened. I was out of town and a filling moved. Right in FRONT of my mouth, full line of visibility. I was sick to my stomach the rest of the weekend. Monday morming I called frantic, and these guys squeezed me in an hour later for my consult and by Wednesday afternoon I was in the chair and everything done that day. Even though I know it will still bring out the baby in me, I will go back now to get the rest of my work done confident in their abilities and the way the staff was so sweet to me. Definitely recommend!!! Especially if you are like me and need to be calmed down to get this stuff done.

Fantastic experience: I recommend Cape Vista Dental to everyone i know.. they are very professional, knowledgeable, kind, and friendly! I have had traumatic experiences in the past from going to different dentist offices as a child. so it’s a struggle for me to prepare myself to go to the dentist as an adult, but my first appointment at Cape Vista Dental changed that. They accommodated me with anything that i needed. They were so nice and supportive of my needs and they set up appointments for me and my husband to make sure we would be with each other during each of our procedures. I liked that they were really willing to work with us and around our schedule. Thank you for making this experience much easier on me. I wish i had dentists like you when i was a child.

This last time I checked in was just a few minutes before my appointment and they called me back before I had a chance to sit down. The equipment is top of the line. Great waiting room with massaging chair. Great decor. You really cannot expect any better.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at my dentist’s office! Kelly, the hygienist, was incredibly friendly and made me feel comfortable right away. She was thorough but gentle, and really took the time to explain things. Amber, the assistant, was just as welcoming and helpful—both of them made the visit smooth and pleasant. Best of all, the appointment was quick and efficient—I was in and out in no time. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: I was told that I had to have a credit card on file. When I said no, they told me I would have to pay non insurance price and wait for my insurance to reimburse. What?? So my co pay for a cleaning was like $100, but because I would not put a card on file it would be $258. I didn’t walk out because they would probably charge me for the appointment. I absolutely do not agree with this policy. The receptionist said well the hotels do it. Yes but you’re not a hotel. If I use points to book a hotel room. Do I have to pay in full. NO. I like the staff but do not like this policy. Additionally people walked in after me and no one was asked for a card. Hmmm. No I have never missed an appointment or not paid a bill.

Fantastic experience: From start to finish -thanks to Hannah at the front desk, Ioana treatment coordinator, Iris dental asst and Kara, and Dr. Saavedra herself - 5 stars aren’t enough. Everyone is professional and compassionate. Dr Saavedra took the time to explain why I needed 2 crowns along with pictures and spoke to me thru the whole process, cheering me on. No pain the next day. She even called me herself to see how I am doing (unheard of nowadays!) and Ioana is calling me in 2 days to confirm all insurance questions! Don’t go anywhere else! Thank you all!! Again, today’s visiting the dentist was not an unpleasant experience! From cordial Lisa in the front to gracious and very knowledgeable Naya and wonderful Dr. Saavedra I was made comfortable and assured with total confidence that I was in totally expert hands. I also was certain that I was in HONEST hands. And Joanna explained that I even had a credit!!! Very Highly recommend !!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I have been to many many dentist, aspen, Greenberg, lots of small private owned offices, and none compare to cape vista. I think most people don’t have the most positive relationship with dentist due to fear, poor previous experiences, embarrassment. When I say they make you feel at home they truly do. They are so welcoming from the moment you come into the door to the moment you leave. I told them what I want and am looking to do and they immediately got on board to do what was needed and are very transparent with pricing so nothing is a surprise. It is actually my birthday and I was greeted with a happy birthday at check and when seeing the dentist and assistants I was also given a birthday card with a little gift. It was truly heartwarming. I don’t have the most friends due to my line of work but I felt so comfortable and appreciated. I truly can not speak enough good things. If you visit them I promise you won’t regret it.

Shiela who looks into insurance does above and beyond work to help patients. I just feel lucky to have found this practice and I recommend them to all my friends and family. Fantastic experience: I had a very pleasant experience on my first visit as a new patient. I called to get an appointment for a regular cleaning and they were available same day to get me in for an exam before scheduling to get the cleaning done. It really helped to get an understanding of what I needed so there was no surprises day of the cleaning. When I arrived the staff was super nice, check in was very easy (I filled out the new patient forms online). They have a massage chair and water in the waiting area. The dental assistant and doctor were very welcoming and were very attentive to my concerns. They seem to really take pride in making it feel as comfortable for the patient as possible and I am looking forward to going back for my cleaning!

Fantastic experience: Not only is their staff always courtesy, accommodating, and professional, CVD is always flexible with scheduling. The scheduling piece is huge as my family and I always end up booking months to a year in advance with other offices and God forbid we need to reschedule. I would recommend to anybody.

They take the time to listen to what it is you need with regard to your teeth and your budget and do not pressure you into anything you're not ready for. Fantastic experience: I had tooth pain that’s been getting worse and today, I called the office to schedule an appointment. They scheduled me for tomorrow, but as soon as I got off the call, they returned my call and suggested I come in the same day to see Dr. Tubio as they noticed the schedule opened up. I’m so grateful for their thoughtfulness to call me back for a sooner appointment! I was able to go to the office and get a laser treatment to desensitize my tooth. Hoping this will do the trick! Fantastic experience: This dentist office is wonderful! I had Peridontal disease which is now currently resolved. Dr Tubio fixed my root canal & crowns! They make recommendations & arent “pushy” which I truly appreciate, in any healthcare field! I highly recommend this office for any dental work!

Fantastic experience: I found this office years some years ago and have never looked for another dental office. I am truly sensitive with anything related to mouth care, and they have always been kind, patient and really work with me to find the best way to make the experience less anxious, painful or stressful. No embarrassing me or just forcing their way of doing things like some offices I've been in the past. I used to cry with dental appts, but with this office I have always found a way to get the care needed and walk out at peace. Timely help with emergencies, quality work, help with insurance/funding, and they really care.

Fantastic experience: Cape Vista is the best! I have been going there for years and they have always been wonderful. When I lived in Tampa for college, I had to go somewhere else but when I moved back home I came right back! I actually drive 45 minutes from Ormond Beach to come here because they are so accommodating. It doesn't take months to get in like most other offices and the staff is always so friendly and helpful. They even got me in for a same day appointment once when I had an urgent situation. I would recommend this practice to anyone in the area! Always worth the drive.

Fantastic experience: We have been going to Cape Vista/Dr Yoon since we moved here in 2010. They do great work. He and his staff are always nice and helpful to deal with. The front office crew are always pleasant. Dorothy is my hygienist and is so easy to talk to and does a thorough job. I have no complaints with anyone or anything -very professional. A prime example of the way a dental practice should be. They have state of the art technology, a beautiful office and are highly recommended! Update:2025, still a wonderful practice full of friendly faces! Highly still recommended!

Negative experience: Loved this dentist office until they demanded I sign up for services/ their treatment plan, before I'm allowed to go there again. Never have I been extorted to do anything by a dentist, doctor or any other provider unless I asked for it. Went in for a simple cleaning and then the extortion started....it was funny as it was like going to a used car salesman, they showed the price, I declined, then a manager came in and gave me their sales pitch, I declined, I then was fired as a patient....Then spoke to various folks , all very nice, until they all insisted I have to pay to be part of their club....NO THANKS!! They also charge credit card fees.....Just beware, not a great way to do business....If you went to your barber or hairdresser and they told you next time you come you have to pay for a blue streak in your hair in order for you to come back to use that barber or beauty parlor, what would you do?? Would you be extorted as such?? Nice pay for play scheme they have going here.. If a patient had a terminal illness, would you still insist they buy your "plan for the future" , cmon man!!

Negative experience: I do not like the new billing policy. I explained that the policy takes away the incentive to apply correct billing codes and practices to the insurance company. My family and I make choices on services based on our ability to afford the service. My choice is also based on Cape Vistas applied expectation of insurance coverage. This new policy doesn’t afford me that level of comfort. Today I was told that my account was negative by $500 based on past billing that were not covered. I requested a copy of the details. Cape vista shared print outs for my bills. When I got home to review them I found out that one of my children’s service was being billed to an old insurance that my family had not had since July 2024. That billing was for services of $290. Instead of asking me if they should bill the same insurance as the rest of my family they asked me to pay it. This is exactly why I do not like the new policy. This type of error could be used to prevent the company from having to correct and resubmit to the insurance company. I have been a customer with a family of 5 for more than 11 years. I am considering changing dental companies. This is disappointing because I have been happy to contribute to a locally owned company instead of a big franchise.

But WOW, I was so very impressed from the first phone call making my appointment through the end of my visit. Everything was smooth, the office is stunning and they were so accommodating. All the staff were knowledgeable and patient to answer any questions I had, explain what work they were doing on me, and schedule my follow up visit. Going to the dentist isn’t always the most exciting thing to do, but I look forward to my next appointment. 10 out of 10 recommend. PS - there’s a massage chair in the waiting room, along with very comfy chairs and couches…you might find yourself going early each time.

Absolutely everyone that works here is kind and professional, and they always do what they can to make sure you are comfortable and happy. The facilities are all clean with up-to-date tech, and even beautifully decorated too!

Negative experience: Their good reviews seem to be artificially inflated because they tell you that they will enter you in a raffle drawing but only if you leave them a 5 star review. This practice is notorious for rescheduling hygiene appointments. Once, I was rescheduled 3 times for the same cleaning and when I was finally at the office checking in, they told me that they had left me a voicemail THAT DAY rescheduling my appointment yet again. They sold me their in-house Clear dental insurance that included 2 cleanings and 20% off in office services. What Tonia failed to mention was that the cleanings both had to occur within a 1 year period. So when THE OFFICE scheduled me a few days outside of the year coverage, based on THEIR hygienist availability, they did not want to honor the second cleaning that I had already prepaid. After much back and forth, they ultimately honored the cleaning THAT I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR. When checking out from that appointment, Tonia told me I would need to leave a credit card on file. When I declined and questioned her on the necessity of them keeping my financial information on file, because I am a private pay patient and I pay at point of service, she yielded, or so I thought. Flash forward one week later when I returned for a procedure, upon checkout, I was asked if I wanted them to run the card that they had on file. Tonia went ahead and put my credit card on file without my authorization. I will be reporting the violation to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and finding a new dentist.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit at Cape Vista Dental, So far, I’m very impressed, Especially with Dr. Yoon!!! He’s very intelligent and gave me the best treatment option to save my current teeth because natural is better than artificial. I was about to jump to all on fours, However, with his treatment plan, I’m able to save my teeth and save a lot a lot of money!!! A big shout out to all the other patients that referred me there! Fantastic experience: I struggled all day to make my dental appointment. I have had very bad dental experiences in the past so my anxiety is so bad when it comes to the dentist. I made the appointment the staff was so nice and kept reassuring me that I had come to the right place. Dr.S was awesome! she kept me calm and told me that she understood my anxiety and talked me thru it and made it a very positive experience so thank you so much.

Positive experience: I have been coming to cape vista many years now. I would like to highlight that the office is very clean, I have always had great hygienists and good experiences with my routine cleanings. I would like to share feedback on the offices newest financial policy. As I was in today I was told I have to either place a card on file or pay my total amount upfront. I myself do not feel comfortable storing my card information so I have no problem paying for my fluoride treatment at the time of service as my insurance doesn’t cover this. Upon checkout it was further explained to me that I have to actually pay more than the fluoride cost. Essentially I have to pay the additional $50 they would receive from insurance and then once insurance pays the office they will credit me or I could drive back to the office for a refund check. I understand the office could take a while to get insurance payments and at times insurance will change the amount they cover leaving the office to further bill the patient. That’s how medical billing works. When insurance pays their part if there is a balance to be payed a patient is billed. When an individual doesn’t want to store a card on file, but has ALWAYS been in good standing with your office, don’t make them overpay and then wait for a refund. Also if you want to use a credit card so that your bank information isn’t stored there is an additional 3% fee to run a credit card. As a healthcare professional myself I do believe there are other solutions the office could and should explore that make it easy for the patient, make it easy is a service standard every practice should strive for.

Fantastic experience: I LOVE this dental office and staff! They took to time to be SURE I was comfortable and NOT in pain. The Dr. actually took time to speak with me and address my concerns prior to scheduling my extraction and partial. These folks absolutely care about their patients.

Fantastic experience: Cape Vista Dental is a wonderful place to go if you need dental work. All the employees are so knowledgeable regarding their jobs and they help each other. We went into the dentist today and needed additional work done. Thanks for Latasha, I am going to be able to go back tomorrow morning to get that completed. Fantastic experience: Dr Saavedra was wonderful in removing a very painful broken tooth and another that would break at any moment. Ioana is super sweet and helped me set up upcoming appointments to get my teeth back in order. I can't give enough thanks to this office for how kind everyone is while helping me.

Negative experience: Anti-military dental group. Had an appointment for 2 months and showed up 10 minutes early just to be informed they cancelled my appointment because I didn't "confirm" it for the 3rd time. They declared that had I not shown up, they would have charged me the no-show fee, but yet they cancelled the appointment. They have too many patients that they are trying to purge their current patient list. STAY AWAY. Rude and condescending.

Negative experience: After my dentist retired, I went to Cape Vista for a new patient appointment. I was told I could only get a deep cleaning even though I had never missed a cleaning in the past 30 years. They also said I had several other issues. I went for a second opinion and of course I didn’t need all that. The kicker is they want you to give a 5 star review BEFORE leaving their office. They will even enter you in a gift card raffle if you give a good review.

Fantastic experience: The staff are so friendly and kind. They greet you with a genuine smile. Dr Yoon is a great dentist with a positive attitude. I recommend Cape Vista to everyone

Fantastic experience: Dr Yoon was so wonderful. He's super relatable and set my son's mind totally at ease for getting some teeth extracted. The staff are warm and friendly. The facility is immaculate and the atmosphere is relaxing. And I love that the office supports worthy causes like Neverthirst. Win win win experience.
