Fantastic experience: I’m not one to write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so after going here. As a kid I had a bad experience going to a different dentist. Because of this I put off going as an adult. My gums were so inflamed and I would bleed when I would brush my teeth. I recently saw a documentary that talked about the links of dental health to heart disease and dementia. I finally said enough is enough and made an appointment with Lane because I had heard about there dental plan was 24 bucks a month paid to them directly (I don’t have insurance) I’m so glad I did. My gums are tight and pink and I’m learning how to smile confidently instead of doing that half smile that covers my teeth and makes me look like a weirdo in pictures.

Fantastic experience: Have been coming here for a few years and have always been treated courteously by staff. This morning I had showed up early confusing my times with another appointment and was able to be worked in. Katie was beyond personable and makes teeth cleaning an enjoyable experience. In addition, Megan was awesome as well, making sure she did not make me feel any pain/ discomfort during my visit!

Negative experience: Unprofessional like bratty teenagers and dishonest and easily offended if you question any charges..I just had honest questions, but you can feel the tension and aggravation as soon as you try discussing charges When i received a bill of $8.00 co-pay fee in the mail, I called them and had to tell them I already paid that "co-pay" charge in person...(as i always do on appointment days) They tried to argue and say I did not...then months later they tried that trick again...I think they know exactly what they are doing because of how they act when you call them up and ask them why are you being charged again?...like teenagers and mock you and talk down to you...extremely rude and disrespectful...Example..when they started being rude I told them they are Unprofessional...then they start talking over you and saying Yes Sir, Yes Sir, Yes sir..but they were not being genuine..they were continuously interrupting me say Yes Sir..I felt like they were super unprofessional and immature...I don't know maybe it's just 2025 and this world is just full of Narcissistic people with a immaturity level of a 12 year old.. I wouldn't be surprised if they end up on dateline or something like that.

Today was my first time at this location, typically I go to the Raleigh office but since moving to the area I decided to change locations. Needless to say the staff at this location exceeded my expectations, everyone was so kind and helpful. Megan is an absolute sweetheart and made me feel like I was at home. I will definitely be back for all of my dental needs! If you are looking for an office with a lovely atmosphere, and experienced, knowledgeable staff who care about you and your experience, look no further!

Dental assistant Megan has been there the last few times I've been and she is really great, welcoming, knowledgeable, and friendly. My dental hygienist is a great guy who does a very efficient yet thorough cleaning. He is also extremely professional and knowledgeable. I've seen & conferred with both dentists and they are both extremely kind, and so smart. Their recommendations and care plans are top notch and make me happy & confident that I know I'm doing the best we can for my teeth! Thank you Lane and Associates!

Fantastic experience: I had major anxiety around coming to the dentist due to past experiences at another dentist office, but when I switched to Lane and Associates (the Garner, NC location located off of 42 hwy) that went away. The first hygienist I saw was Robert, and I will now only see Robert. Such a great guy and really puts your mind at ease. The Doctor I see is Dr. Bailey, and again, he will be the only doctor I ever see. He is absolutely amazing. Dr. Bailey is the most kind, compassionate, and truly skilled Dentist. When Dr. Bailey speaks to you, it’s like talking to an old friend. No judgement at all! I am so thankful for Robert and Dr. Bailey at Lane and Associates. 10/10 recommend to anyone!

Negative experience: I am writing to express my deep frustration regarding the ongoing issues I’ve experienced with your office concerning my daughter’s dental care. She was initially referred by her dentist for specialized treatment. After an evaluation, I was informed of the necessary procedures, and appointments were scheduled. Unfortunately, due to my own oversight, we missed the first appointment. I take full responsibility for that. However, when it came time for the rescheduled appointment, I was informed that my daughter could not be seen because your office had failed to submit the required paperwork to my insurance provider for authorization. I was told I could either pay out of pocket or wait until the paperwork was properly submitted. I chose to wait. Weeks turned into months with no follow-up from your office. When I eventually called to check in, I was told the paperwork had finally been submitted. I asked why no one contacted me to move forward with scheduling, and the staff member I spoke with, Ariana, told me she didn’t know because it wasn’t her responsibility. She offered to look into it and have someone call me back — or advised that I could follow up myself. Since then, I’ve made multiple attempts to call your office with no success. It now appears my calls are being ignored, as I’ve discovered that calls from other numbers are answered while mine are not. This has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing healthcare experiences I’ve had — not for myself, but for my daughter, who continues to wait for care due to repeated administrative failures and a lack of communication on your part. I am respectfully requesting immediate attention to this matter. Please contact me directly as soon as possible so we can resolve this and ensure my daughter receives the treatment she needs. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: This was the best dental cleaning and overall experience I have ever had in my 51 years of life! Why?….. For starters the building is beautiful. Everyplace you go is clean and orderly. The receptionist was sweet and clearly communicated all expectations. They called me back and Katie and Megan were kind, clear, empathetic, and incredibly skilled at their craft. Just the right amount of small talk and my teeth look amazing. The actual dentist (didn’t get his name) was also calm, confident, and fantastic at his job. No wonder Lane has so many offices. I definitely leveled up from my previous dentist. Free upgrade!! If you’re looking to switch and are looking for a new dentist. This is it. I love this place!!!!

Negative experience: The worst place ever huge scam going on here went there I had a toothache they looked at it told me I need fillings they did them on the wrong ones went home the pain still the same came back told they they did it in the wrong one they said oh you only need cleaning did the cleaning still the same issue went back again they did fillings on other ones again and I'm still having the same issue and now other issues and ever since I left the last appointment I've had constant headaches it's been 6 days and I still have the headache I don't know what they did and I don't want to risk it and go back again I won't recommend this place to anyone

Fantastic experience: Only my 2nd visit after my regular dentist retired. So far the staff has been very welcoming and understanding about my needs and concerns. I saw Dr. McIntosh today . He was great. I needed a small filling and he was able to do it without a shot. I was offered a shot of course. Anyway, it is a very professional establishment with kind staff and dentist, the ones I have met so far.

My dental hygienist (Robert) was professional, he listened and answered my questions. Dr Bailey was great! Negative experience: If you have a lot of free time, this is the place for you! I came on time for my appointment. They checked in me at the reception and told to wait. After an hour of waiting, I went up and started complaining and called the manager. They apologized, took me to a chair and I sat there for another 20 minutes. The doctor examined me but they didn't do anything because they were busy. I think it happens. This year (2025) my next appointment I come on time and the situation repeats. After an hour of waiting, I started complaining. I called the manager. They apologized again. The filling was put in hastily and of poor quality. They didn't even polish it and I felt it when anesthesias went and I rubbed my tongue. The previous filling they made was too high and I had to go back to them! They smile at you and are friendly but the QUALITY and SERVICE are HORRIBLE. Are you bored at home, have a lot of free time, want to quarrel and get a low-quality job??? !!! Then this is the place for you.

Negative experience: Below is a complaint that I filed with Lane and Associates after my 10/4 visit. I have never received reply from them: I was told by a previous dentist that I needed a filling on my upper RIGHT side and that I needed to have an impacted wisdom tooth removed. I wanted to get another opinion about the wisdom tooth so decided to try Lane and Associates as its near my home. I came in for my first visit on 9/20/24 and saw Dr. Barakat. At the visit Dr. Barakat seemed very rushed. She said I needed a crown on the top RIGHT tooth and didn't address the wisdom tooth at all. When I asked her again about the filling, she did another xray of the tooth and stated it DIDN'T need a crown after all and that a filling would be fine. I asked her about my wisdom tooth (this is after she had already done my exam). She looked in my mouth again and said that yes, I would need to get it removed. I didn't have much confidence in her assessment as she seemed very rushed and not really paying attention to me, my charts, or the exam itself. I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt as I didn't know what else she had going on and maybe she was needed elsewhere by someone with a more pressing need. I went ahead and scheduled the appt to get the filling done. I was seen again this morning by Dr. Barakat in the Clayton office. When she came in the room and started to numb the LEFT side of my mouth. I asked her if she was sure that was the correct side as last time I was told the tooth that needed a filling was on my right. She did the topical numbing of my left side and said she would check my chart to be sure. She looked at an xray and said that, yes, the filling was needed on the top LEFT. I told her that maybe she was looking at an old xray and that that was where I got a filling at my last dentist. She said that the tooth on the top RIGHT needed a crown (again, we had already addressed at previous visit that it didn't need a crown but a filling per her own assessment). She didn't seem to know where she was supposed to be working, which made me very uncomfortable. I told her I was not comfortable, that she didn't know where to fill, she numbed the wrong side of my mouth and was about to fill a cavity that had already been filled. I have never in my life been to a dentist that was so preoccupied and distracted and honestly unprofessional. I am very upset by the situation, and no longer have confidence to let Lane and Associates preform any dental procedures on me.

Negative experience: DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!! I had an extremely distressing experience at Lane & Associates (Garner, NC Location) during the extraction of my wisdom teeth with Dr. Miller. I woke up during the procedure and felt intense pain. Dr. Miller was dismissive of my discomfort, cursed at me several times, and treated me with unnecessary force. His behavior was unprofessional and inappropriate, making me feel unsafe and violated. Both dental assistants witnessed his behavior and agreed that his language and conduct were unacceptable. Despite their acknowledgment and the office manager's agreement that his actions were inappropriate, nothing has been done. The office manager Lori claimed he has been “reported to the regional managers,” however, no one has bothered to follow up. The office is more interested in protecting their own interests than addressing patient concerns. Additionally, I discovered stitches in my palate, unrelated to the extraction site. I was not notified about this tear at the top of my mouth during or after the procedure. Lori (office manager) confirmed that Dr. Miller was “frustrated” and had problems with one tooth. I later learned this is how I got the tear in the roof of my mouth. This level of misconduct and lack of care is unacceptable. I urge the practice to investigate and address these serious issues immediately. I paid for quality dental care, not abuse.

Negative experience: Another 8 year long term patient lost!! Received a call today, 2 weeks prior to my 6 month cleaning/checkup, that my appointment was cancelled and I had to reschedule. Called to reschedule and was told no hygienist appointments were available until October….. October! Glad competition has moved into the area…. I was able to schedule an appointment within 2 weeks! My wife left this practice for the same reason a year ago…..

Negative experience: I had crowns done and they gave me the total and I paid up front. 8 months later they said I owe another $1,500. If I brought a car for $50,000, the dealership can't come back a year later and say you owe $5,000 more on the car. The Garner location has the worst and rudest business staff and they lack knowledge on how to do business. Dr. Campbell is great.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Miller and the staff are so awesome. Took out 3 of my wisdom teeth. Hands down the best!
