Positive experience: I had a fantastic experience at 212 Dental and will definitely return! I went for a free whitening session, and the dentist thoroughly explained the need for a deep cleaning due to tartar and plaque, covering plaque buildup, diabetes’ impact on gum health, and proper brushing techniques. The process was split into two sessions (right half one week, left the next), both with wait times under 15 minutes. Hygienist Sam was exceptional—communicative, thorough, catching a missed spot during an X-ray and re-cleaning it, and doing a light polish at my request despite some bleeding. Numbing and anesthesia kept it mostly comfortable, with minor stinging. The office is clean, with a friendly receptionist directing to the 10th floor, and scheduling was easy. One hiccup: an assistant mislabeled an X-ray (left as right), but Sam corrected it. The X-ray machine, requiring a mouth insert and multiple shots, felt less modern than single-shot machines elsewhere. The waiting area is decent, not cramped. They provided written post-op instructions and a goodie bag with Colgate toothpaste and a toothbrush. The staff made me feel welcomed and less scared, boosting my confidence. Highly recommend 212 Dental for their expertise and care! Edit: I am reducing a star because I can feel tarter and two teeth on my gum line or slightly below my gum line. I'm going to call him on Monday and have them schedule a follow up.

The hygienist is by far one of the gentlest person that has done a cleaning for me and he also gave good practical advice and explanations on oral healthcare. The doctor did a thorough review of my teeth and even used a mirror to show me what I couldn’t understand. I appreciate that. Lisa was very thoughtful and helpful with my package for a filling. Negative experience: 212 has been luring people in (think aggressive phone marketing) with a free whitening. Then you come in and need an exam and cleaning (of course). Only after they have done an exam with about 20 X-rays, they let you know they actually have their next whitening appointment available for 2+ months out. At that point their hope is to have you locked into their cleaning. Pretty disingenuous approach to getting new costumers, I would say. I left immediately after the exam, pre cleaning, and plan on reporting them to my insurance.

Negative experience: I’ve never been here and don’t plan on going. They keep spam calling me offering a free whitening. When I say I’m not interested they keep pushing asking why. They have emailed me at my job and have called me several times. Surely you all don’t need business this bad. I’ve never heard of a dental office making cold calls for business. According to my he other reviews it’s a scam anyway. I’m not even sure how they got my information.

Fantastic experience: I am new to the city and discovered this office through their free whitening and just had my initial cleaning appointment. Convenient location near my work and everyone was very kind and accommodating especially Barbara who helped me squeeze in a last minute appointment. I saw Dr. Sarah who was great and attentive to my needs. Would recommend to others!

Negative experience: Please do not waste your time. I found them in LinkedIn advertising that they do free teeth whitening but really they just overcharge your insurance. I think they are owned by private equity and they are money hungry. Save your time and go to a family dentist because how are you tell me I have cavities when I never had a cavity. Try again

Negative experience: Scam artists horrible place thry overchsrge your insurance promise laser whitening for free if you write them a review. Going to report them for Insurance fraud. My teeth are in constant pain and they werw fine before their laser whitening its been iver 2 weeks, cheap ingredients and samdangerous whitening methods. I’m going to sue them.

Fantastic experience: I came in for the whitening left with a crown in my tooth. I was meaning to take care of it for a while. Staff was professional a bit of a wait later at night. Dr. Kiarash and Esmeralda worked well together and did a great job. Thank you. I also liked that they were proactive reminding me of my appt and were upfront with costs.

Negative experience: Someone calls me to offer a free teeth whitening promotion. Gives me the details and sets me up with appointment. This clown then finds out that they don't accept my insurance (for the free promotion) and he proceeds to hang up on me. Very unprofessional and would not deal with again.

Fantastic experience: This is my first time getting teeth whitening and Esmeralda was very passionate, great hospitality and very detailed in the process. She explained everything before she started the whitening process and then walked step by step before she made any move. She was fabulous!

Negative experience: This company called me out of the blue multiple times to schedule an appt and teeth whitening service (+ every other employee in my company). My most recent visit - they tell me my dental appt is $50 - which it should be free under my dental insurance. They ‘waive’ this fee (again, why is there a fee if you called me and supposedly ran my insurance). After my x-rays - I’m told I have multiple cavities followed by an associate coming in with a clipboard to rattle off the costs for each cavity filling, which added up to quite a bit of $$. When I asked about what my insurance covers - she didn’t have a good answer. I had an un-easy feeling about what they were telling me, I go to the dentist every 6 mos. and I’ve never had multiple cavities + my costs rattled off to me in this manner without any knowledge of my insurance coverage. Luckily, I declined to do anything and went elsewhere for a 2nd opinion where I was told I have 0 new cavities and my insurance covers EVERYTHING. Something is weird here…

Fantastic experience: I had the best experience at 212 Dental care today. Esmeralda performed my teeth whitening and the experience was great. She started by fully explaining the procedure, including parts of it that may be uncomfortable. She then settled me in before and got to work, keeping to the time she promised it would take. I had a little discomfort because the protective film around my gums came apart but Emeralda was quick to treat it and reduce the irritation. My teeth looked whiter after the procedure so I'm happy I went through with it.

Negative experience: This clinic is terrible and the dentist was a liar. They called me for a “free whitening” which they refused to provide to me after I told them I wanted a second opinion about the alleged cavity that I had. The dentist handed me a bill that I would have to pay out of pocket, even though I have excellent dental insurance. It was more than $1500. Turns out, I was right because when I went to another office I was told that I do not have any cavities. They continued to call me and text me, I guess that’s how desperate they are. This is A SCAM. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. STAY AWAY. Their reviews are fake. And please do not reply to my review with “We apologize for your experience” because I really don’t care. Need to hire some new staff, I have NO IDEA what college of dental medicine your dentists went to.

Fantastic experience: I went to 212 Dental back in March for a cleaning and they did well. All the staff there were friendly, especially Asia, the treatment coordinator. I'm looking forward to coming back for my whitening. Update: I went in May for a teeth whitening and Esmeralda was informative and gentle. She explained the process in detail and and overall the procedure was simple and painless.

Negative experience: A few weeks ago, I received a cold call from a dental office claiming to offer free dental care because I supposedly had great dental insurance. The caller, a woman named Gabi, pressured me into providing my dental insurance information during the call. I felt uncomfortable but gave the insurance details—thankfully I did not provide my Social Security Number, as something felt off. They then scheduled a dental appointment for me, but after hanging up, I realized the entire setup was suspicious. I did not attend the appointment. Since then, they have been harassing me with calls every single day, using different phone numbers each time to get around call blocking. The persistence and deceptive nature of their tactics are deeply concerning and clearly not professional. I believe this may be an insurance scam or unauthorized use of personal information.

Negative experience: DO NOT BOOK AN APPOINTMENT TO GET THE FREE TEETH WHITENING.THEY DONT STOP CALLING UNTIL YOU ACCEPT, THEY LIE, THEY DO A COMPREHENSIVE DENTAL EXAM, AND THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY. First they tell you it's not a scam and tell you to view their office website to show you they are real. Ok cool they are. But wait until you hear what the scam is. They told me that I must have a cleaning at most 30 days before I can come in for whitening. They had me book a cleaning with them. My insurance covered it... Fine. I took 2 hours out of my day to attend this appointment. Noect thing you know, they are taking X-rays and doing a comprehensive dental exam. And guess what else. They didn't have teeth whitening appointments for TWO MONTHS OUT!!!! They still booked it, so why the hell did I need to get the cleaning? Now my insurance has an out of pocket cost of $723 and 212 Dental Care is harassing me for the money. I will be reporting them to my insurance company.

One thing I would suggest is to add Cassava as a white food diet, eating white foods from the list caused constipation for me.

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars, I would. This business repeatedly called my work phone every day for weeks. I finally picked up out of frustration, and they pitched me a “free” teeth whitening session for new patients. Intrigued, I gave them my name, address, and other personal info — though I didn’t have my dental insurance on hand at the time (thankfully), they assured me I could provide it later and that my appointment was confirmed. On the day of the appointment, I called ahead since I never received any email or text confirmation. The receptionist couldn’t find me in their system and apologized, saying it must’ve been a miscommunication. Then the following Monday, someone from their office called to “clear things up” — telling me I wasn’t in the system because I hadn’t provided my insurance. Turns out, the “free” whitening session is only free if you first undergo a routine exam (gum and cavity check-up) that’s billed to your insurance. When I tried to explain that their third-party marketing tactics are misleading and unprofessional — especially the nonstop calls and lack of transparency — she hung up on me mid-sentence. Extremely rude and borderline scam. Avoid.

Negative experience: I went to 212 Dental for a check up/cleaning and to get my teeth whitened. I was told I needed a night guard which costed me $500 (maybe I need or dont - who knows), but the visit before that I was also told I needed something and spent more money - so maybe they just want to run my insurance and collect money because no other dentist has ever mentioned such things to me?? Then during the whitening process, the lady got the protective gum gel on my upper lip and burned a hole into my lip. It was burning so bad and became so swollen causing a huge white burn on my lip. She also missed a spot on my bottom gum and the LED light burned that area. I was in so much pain I left without completing the whitening procedure and very unhappy.

Fantastic experience: My first time here and I can honestly say it was a great experience. I went in for my cleaning and after all was done I was able to schedule my FREE teeth whitening which is in June. A little far out but I’m not in a rush and it’s free so I dont mind. I didnt get the name of the woman that did my cleaning but she was amazing! I do remember LISA though, she was very helpful throughout the whole process as soon as I walked in the door. Very attentive and professional. I hope im able to see the same staff when i go in next month for my whitening :)
