The Burg does everything they can to support, empower and educate me and my daughter on the best course of action for her teeth. Not to mention ruin they have the best staff ever. Aisha, and Julissa are fantastic front desk staff. Alisha, Jaidyn, Lainee, Natalya, and Ashley are fabulous hygenist and of course, Dr. Thomas is the best Super Dentist around. Fantastic experience: We didn’t have an appointment that day, but due to my daughters pain she was having for three days, Dr. Marz took her in. They were able to check her previous photos and compare it to how her jaw is shifting. We normally go to the Orchard Drive location in Bountiful and this was the first time going to Stansbury. The staff was also friendly and helpful even though it wasn’t our normal location. Great job being available for us. Thank you!

Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars, I would!!!! I’m very angry. I hate this dentist office. I have had my kids be seen there since they were all little. My daughter whom just turned 4 broke her 2 front teeth when she just got them in. So that made them rot. She needs them out very bad cuz they are super infected and have been for 2 months now. We have been waiting for her to be seen with her in pain for 2 months, for them to tell us we can’t come in Becuz we owe a balance for My 17 year old daughter, when she got her wisdom teeth out and we did not know she had a balance cuz she is supposed to be on Medicaid but I didn’t know she was also on her dad’s insurance. We can’t get her dad’s insurance info, so there is still a balance of $200.00. That has nothing to do with my 4 year old daughter’s insurance and teeth. She is on Medicaid and has a different dad. She has had infection after infection on her front teeth and gums and is in pain. All these people care about is their money. They made an appointment 2 times to get her teeth done. We paid the $75 for the anesthesia and then was told the balance was paid, then we were told it wasn’t paid and we need to pay it before she is seen. We have waited two months with my then 3 year old daughter‘s teeth being infected for two months just to be told at the last min. We can’t come in and get them done till that bill is paid. She has been on so many antibiotics for her teeth that I’m worried she is gonna get immune to them or get colitis from this. Her teeth are hurting so much and they had her wait 2 month to get in, to get them done and now we can’t!!!!. Also the surgical center said if we cancel we will owe another $150 on top of the other money we owe but we were told by the dentist we could go get her teeth done. They both said they are connected so why did they not know she couldn’t be seen without paying that money and why are we getting charged. I gave them her father’s number so they can contact him to get the info or payment for it and they done nothing. My little girl is suffering and now has to suffer longer till we find a new dentist and probably go to the insta care to get on antibiotics again Becuz I’m sure it’s gonna take another few months to get her seen and her teeth extracted. This is a horrible place. There is 1 dentist guy there that is friendly the other dentist is a jerk also the front desk people are rude and I’m done taking my kids to this place. I should have been done long ago. I am so angry!!! Why would they not take a little innocent 4 yr old girl, that is in pain and hurting, in to be seen and let me make payments on the bill I owe instead of cancelling her appointments when her teeth are so infected and she needs help. Ruthless people!!!! I’m done. So mad

Fantastic experience: Alisha M was so sweet and helpful when we arrived and even made sure to schedule our next appointment before we were even called back for for our appointment. Alisha went out of her way to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. Julissa, Lainee, and Rayna did an awesome job with my kiddos cleanings. They were so fast and friendly. Fantastic experience: My son had a free consultation done here. I appreciated that the Doctor and Nurse both explained everything thoroughly not only to me, but my 10yr old as well. They didn't rush us during the appointment, took their time, and great care of my son's dental work. My son has a f/u in August to discuss his treatment plan, and we both feel comfortable to stay with them through the process.

Negative experience: If your kids are young, they are great. They claim that they will take care of you until your kids are adults. Not true. My child has been going to the office in stansbury since he was 2 years old. He's now 15. We were there last week and they refused to fix his cavity that has been causing him pain. Instead they handed us a business card. Burg still accepts my insurance. My child feels (felt) comfortable going there. Now my child is waiting for another appointment at another dentist to feel better.

Fantastic experience: Kathy was great and super explanatory! Daniel got me in so quick to get started with my Invisalign treatment. Dr Marz is always so understanding and personable! Thanks Burg Orthodontics.

Fantastic experience: The staff was amazing and super friendly they are so so nice to my little one they make you feel like family..and the doctor is honest he truly cares about you as a patient and not just money he is honest too highly highly recommend if I could give more then 5 stars I would I'd give 10 because of how well they take care of my little one

Negative experience: Had a rough visit today. The dentist assistant shoved the xray patches in her mouth a few times, only flossed 3/4s of her teeth, made my daughter feel like the dentist assistant wasn't happy with her job today. Usually they are very good with my kiddos but this girl was new. We haven't seen her before. Sad visit today.

Fantastic experience: The whole team is great, excellent care and patience with my kids!

Negative experience: Don't go here unless you don't care about your kids teeth. My kids had visible cavities and they just said it's normal or not that bad. Went to get a second opinion and my oldest has 6 cavities, my middle child had 3 cavities, and my youngest had 8 cavities and had to be put under to completely fix her 4 front teeth as they were rotting. Switched to a new dentist 3 years ago.

Negative experience: Do not recommend Burg Dentistry for young kids. I brought my two year old here for a filling and it was a HORRIBLE experience. Nothing was explained to him and it was as rushed as humanly possible. I know two is young… but like I didn’t think I needed to explain to a professional that kids need things slow and explained. Definitely won’t be going back again.

Negative experience: Let me preface this with, we have been here before and had a decent experience. They were super friendly and gave my kids cute superhero capes. That said, maybe it was an off day or something, but today was not great at all and we’ll probably just start driving farther to our old dentist in the future because they’re much friendlier. We walked in and the receptionists all looked busy and less than friendly, so we just sat down and waited for a while. Eventually, one looked up and less than enthusiastically said, “Did you check in yet?” I said no, and then she handed me a huge stack of papers for my 2 year-old daughter, who had not been there yet. Paperwork is annoying, but it was kind of excessive for a pediatric dentist office (“I agree to a mediator if there’s an issue” kind of stuff). It wasn’t a huge deal, but a little annoying with not a lot of time to finish everything. When we came prior, they put my kids on separate chairs and had them all going at once. But today, we didn’t really get it explained to us that my kids would all be in the same chair and go one at a time (which I’ve never had happen at any dentist or here,) so that made it a little tricky to keep them from touching everything and sitting down while each other was going. Not the biggest deal in the world, but there was minimal communication about it. The hygienist we had was unfriendly. She never introduced herself, and just walked us back. Very cold, not especially nice to my kids, and seemed inconvenienced by them. When she took us back, I legitimately could not hear what she said behind her mask, so I asked her to repeat what she said and seemed super bothered. Each kid went one by one like an assembly line. The fastest cleanings I’ve ever seen on kids and very minimal interaction with them besides a monotone “Open.” She was even kind of sassy with my oldest at one point. She didn’t offer a show or anything on the screen until the last kid and by that point, she was done anyway. The doctor came in for like, three seconds. Never introduced himself to myself or kids or asked their names. He very quickly looked at their teeth and said “They’re fine” about each of them. I had to ask questions to get any information. I still do not have any clue what his name was. While he was still in each kid’s mouth, the hygienist was doing something without telling me what was going on. It took me until after the second kid to realize she was slapping flouride on their teeth like an assembly line without even telling me or asking if I wanted it. I may have still said yes, but being given the option would have been nice without just doing it. We were scooted out very quickly after a very monotone, “Do you want to schedule another appointment 6 months from now?” And “Here are your tokens…” My daughter who was a new patient did not get a superhero mask and cape like my other kids did at their first appointments (don’t know if that’s something they do anymore or not) and not a single receptionist acknowledged us when we walked out the door. Call me crazy, but generally dental offices (ESPECIALLY pediatrics!) are more friendly. Our old dentist and hygienists were so kind, fun, and engaging, so today was a major disappointment. Maybe it was an off day or something, but we won’t be back.

Fantastic experience: We have 3 very young children. Burg Childrens Dentistry has been great! They are able to work with even the toddlers and make going to the dentist a fun experience.

Fantastic experience: Definitely hands down the best in town! Friendly staff, welcoming, and great costumer services skills. Very informative and professional, affordable, my daughrers Orthodontist Mr Dr. Marz, his staff Miss Sandra are amazing my babies felt very welcomed and comfortable and safe. I highly recommended this practice. My little family will be here forever. The Orthodontist, and dentist office is part of ourfamily now! Thank you again Burg Orthodontist, and Children's Dentistry! Fantastic experience: Jayden and the dentist were so amazing. My son has had a terrible dentist experience with our previous dentist and they gave him a whole new experience. I don’t think it will be as hard to get him to go to the dentist after today’s visit. Jayden (I hope I am spelling her name right) was so patient with him and calm and soft. She explained what she was doing and let him feel things to ease his anxiety. I’m happy with our cleaning today.

Positive experience: They're pretty decent. I wouldn't say they do much to go beyond decent. Their appointment cut off times are extremely inconvenience for school aged kids. You have to check them out for every appointment. The ortho front desk lady is awful though!! She knows very little about her job, if you have any questions about your account or procedures she will have to grab someone to explain the screen to her. She is only good for making appointments. I was very disappointed to hear her telling a teenager that his dad is behind and needs to pay before he is seen that day, even after the boy told her that his dad would be coming in and he has no idea about the bill. Her reply, ya well you owe for 2 no shows and this and that, so you'll need to get it resolved. Which I find extremely inappropriate to speak to a teenager about that instead of his dad. You have to ask the questions to get any information. My son is starting the braces process and they give bare minimum info unless you know what questions you should be asking. The dentist side is quite wonderful though. They're knowledgeable and extremely friendly! Their hours also suck though.

Fantastic experience: The Dentist I had was amazing and finished my 1 filling within 20min, I was scheduled for 11:00am, and I was out and in my car driving home at 11:30am. He was very kind and answered all my questions!

Fantastic experience: Love this place!!! My daughter had a pretty serious under bite and I was nervous about jaw surgery. Went to compare a few orthodontists and I felt the best here where he said that he could fix it without surgery. And he did! Very professional, very thorough, and the best price too. 100% recommend

Fantastic experience: Rickell was seriously the most pleasant assistant we have EVER had!! My son has autism and other disabilities, and she was so patient and sweet with him! Thank you so much Rickell!! And Cheyenne was so amazing at explaining everything what was going to happen at our next appointment, and very thorough with all the details and making sure everything was right! The doctor did such a great job explaining everything that was going on in my son's mouth and was so patient with me while I asked tons of questions! Thank you all so much! Fantastic experience: My children and I have been going to Burg Children’s Dentistry and Orthodontics (at Stansbury Park) for several years, and we love them so much that we still go there even though we moved an hour away! I have seven littles, and they are always really kind and sweet to them, they explain things as they do them and answer their questions, they work quickly and efficiently, and are always willing to work with me on scheduling to get them all in as close to each others appointments as possible. Thanks to them, my children actually look forward to going to the dentist! I would and do absolutely recommend them!

Fantastic experience: Burg Ortho and Dentistry has been great! I have all three kids at their dentist office and two kids with braces at their Ortho office. We recently had a situation where my son's tooth was hurting because it was coming loose while a bracket was attached. I called the emergency number and they met us early the next morning on a Saturday to remove the wire and release the tooth. That same day the tooth fell out. I'm grateful for their quick response to help easy my son's pain. They've been grest with scheduling and accommodating busy schedule. Dr. Marz is great with explaining exactly what they're doing and why they're doing. I'd highly recommend Burg Dentistry and Ortho.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been very happy with Burg Orthodontics. Dr. Marz is great to work with, and so are each of his assistants. My one daughter just got her braces off and has a beautiful smile. My other daughter has had braces for ten months, and I’ve had a good experience every time I’ve gone in. My son is needing braces, and I’ve wanted to wait as long as possible to get them on. Dr. Marz has been great to work with on this; he’s had him come in every four to six months to make sure he’s still good to wait—and we’re still waiting. Overall, I’m very, very happy.

Fantastic experience: Awesome experience. My 6 yr old told the dentist she didn't like green, the color of his mask. He immediately changed masks & they actually found a pink one to make her more comfortable. I appreciate the extra effort with a nervous little one.

Fantastic experience: Since our first visit to Burg Pediatric Dentistry my kids ask me to go to the dentist. It is a relaxing atmosphere and the staff and Dentists put the kids at ease and create a positive experience every visit. Thanks Burg :) Still love coming here. My kids have now started to see the Orthodontist here and it is amazing as well. I love that they go out of their way to build a relationship of trust with my kids. I appreciate how accommodating Burg is. It can be difficult knowing my kids and my schedule ahead of time and planning ahead The schedulers are always so kind to try to help me with my crazy planning. I recently forgot to schedule one of my kids appointments with the others, it was discovered when I got my reminder call and they happily put in my additional appointment. Thank You !!! This place just gets better and better.. I love that Burgs staff talks to my kids and helps them understand the process of their exams and what is going on. They always make my kids and I feel right at ease! Shout out to the amazing staff.. Jocelyn is always such a sweetheart when I had a problem with my insurance she jumped right in to help resolve the problem.. my daughters assistant today was amazing. Sheri had her teeth sparkling. My daughter walked out of the office with the biggest smile. A beautiful smile is such a boost in a child’s confidence, thank you Sheri!! Was super impressed today at my kids 6 month checkup. Jocelyn again went above and beyond in helping me understand my dental benefits and utilizing them. My daughter was having a rough day before arriving but Sheri had her smiling and laughing within minutes of being there. It was nice to have a stress free environment with all that is going on in in the world. Sheri was very thorough in hand hygiene gloves masks and the works. Thank you for taking such good care of my kids especially during these crazy times. It’s so nice to have such a great team through the whole process of an appointment from the moment of walking in to check in through the time we checked out with Cheyenne we always feel at home and they always leave a good impression. Today my son got to have Alisha clean his teeth. Thank you for doing such a good job. Shout out to Sheri, Jocelyn, Becca, Cheyenne and Alisha!!! Thanks for brightening my kids day as well as their smiles! Today our assistant was Kaletta. I have written many reviews however Kaleyta care has surpassed all of the assistants we have had in the past. She was caring and was right on top of everything. Fantastic experience: They are so amazing and patient with my kids. My 5 year old was scheduled for a root canal and we didn't want to put her through that much pain especially with a tooth she would lose eventually. We were going to pull it but her dentist explained that it's not like the ones they do on adult teeth and that kids do very well with them. We decided to go ahead with it instead of pulling it. Thankfully the cavity didn't go all the way to the root so she didn't have the root canal! Dr. Thomas at the Stansbury location is the best pediatric dentist I have ever met! He listened to our concerns and took the time to explain the procedure and options we had. Plus he was just so amazing to my daughter! I won't take my kids to anyone else!

Fantastic experience: Natalia was awesome, friendly and fast! We showed up uncharacteristically early because another appt let out early and they took us in almost immediately! It was really a nice surprise! And the dentist was so patient and friendly when answering our questions!

Negative experience: Due to car troubles, I called to reschedule my son’s appointment, which was in 2.5 hours. The lady who answered my call was bitter and extremely unpleasant to talk/listen to. I expressed I wouldn’t have an alternate vehicle for at least 4 hours till my husband would be home. Then the threats started, claiming I would then be punished with a cancellation fee. I replied with something along the lines of “I didn’t plan for my car to not start and have the issues it was having (electric car)…”. She couldn’t have cared any less regarding my reasoning for rescheduling, not canceling, rescheduling and jumped right back to the fee I’d be obligated to pay for not “canceling” at least 24 hours prior. After expressing again the unplanned car troubles, along with the 2.5 hour notice, I felt was more than an ample amount of time, she stated it was their policy… Quite perturbed, i told her I have no problem taking my son to a completely different dental office equipped with common sense and understanding re: unplanned issues forcing one’s self to reschedule. It wasn’t until that point that she declared, after supposedly reading the policy, that according to the policy I was not expected to pay a fee. She was Very, VERY unprofessional, and disrespectfully rude.

Fantastic experience: 4/17/2024 Sha'Uri Rayna & Natalya were amazing!!! Super sweet and funny to talk with! 1/11/21 My kids love this place! They are never scared to come to the dentist. Today Julissa and Rickell rocked it! Super sweet gals that treated my kids with care! ❤️❤️❤️ 1/12/21 My daughter just had two extractions done by Jada and Dr. Thomas. They were both great! My daughter didn't even flinch when she received the novocaine shot.

Fantastic experience: Rayna, Alisha, Natalya, and Jules are superheroes! As a parent a appreciate that they were fast, clear, and inexpensive. My children thought it was as fun as the carnival!! So happy we chose Burg as our dentist!

Positive experience: Not to be confused, the dentist is probably awesome, if he would consider just taking more than two seconds to talk to the parents after a check up. We don’t expect a tea party for an hour with our medical professionals and I know screaming toddlers aren’t great, but still, we go in to get them checked and could at least be asked if we had any concerns. Only complaint I have, otherwise all very kind people, and fast service.

Fantastic experience: They’re so patient, even with my 5 year old who has some serious dentist anxiety. They coaxed her along, encouraged her to try, and the hygienist was a pro swooping in with fluoride while the dentist looked over her teeth and she was calm. Way to go guys!

Negative experience: While I am pleased with their ability to get my child in at a decent pace, I am not pleased with the look of the work done when my child had their teeth fixed. They don't seem to actually take the care into giving them their best smile, just getting it done quickly and sending them away with pain.

Fantastic experience: Alisha Jules did so good with my 16 month old. They tried to take X-rays but she wasn't having it. Alisha didn't push her past what she was comfortable with. They were able to clean each tooth and the dentist was able to check her. Happy toddler and happy parents thank you to the whole team.

Fantastic experience: Burgs has always been great for us. Alisha and Natalya were great. They made sure that my son was happy and comfortable during his extraction. I would recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Sha'rui was an absolutely wonderful dental assistant for my three yr old daughter this week...I can't say enough about how warm and calming she was towards my daughter, who was already nervous. Fantastic experience: Sha'uri first Happy Birthday! Second, Sha was very nice and spoke to my 14 year old son and explained to him well about his tooth extraction and didn't treat him like a child. He hates that. Everything was swift and we were in and out in 15 minutes. We also love Burgs and have gone here for 12 years.

Fantastic experience: Paisley was great today! My daughter got a filling and she made it so she wasn’t even worried. Procedure was so quick too! These guys are seriously awesome!! My kids first time to the dentist and they can't wait to go back!! From the capes to the videos it doesn't even feel like a dentist! All the staff were so amazing and patient. Great experience, highly recommend!! We came in again and they are so good with the kids!! My girls love coming to the dentist. Rickell, Daniela, and Shay were who helped us today.

Fantastic experience: My appt recently was excellent. My child needed to get a filling and I had a younger toddler with me in the waiting room. The hygienist was super kind and empathetic, the staff surprised my toddler with a small toy to help keep him entertained during the process. We didn't have to wait long at all for the dentist to come after getting numb, and the actual process of the filling went smooth and quick. I had other concerns which the hygienist brought to the attention of the dentist and he addressed those as well. The filling looks great! Fast and friendly.

Fantastic experience: I was kindly greeted, given my paperwork with explanation. Within moments of turning it in Sha was there ready for my sons first dental appt. She was sweet and loving on the way back totally involving my son. She was gentle and explained everything during the cleaning. Doc was kind. They worked with my insurance prices (or lack there of). Will continue going to them. My son loved it. He got to pick his toothbrush. He was given tokens for their many choices of cute tiny toys. Thanks Burg!

Negative experience: I brought my son in today to have his teeth cleaned and examined. He is incredibly anxious and was very nervous and scared during the appointment. The hygienist was not friendly or helpful and seemed annoyed he was crying and not cooperative. The dentist also was not comforting, understanding, or helpful. I would not recommend bringing your children to this location at all.

Fantastic experience: Great staff! AvaLou felt comfortable and had a smile the whole visit! Sha’ uri is the best! Such great company! Always a positive and supportive time. All 3 of my kids love going to the dentist. Thank you Burg and all of the staff❤️

Fantastic experience: We had the pleasure of being taken care of by Alisha A, Alisha M, Jules, Sha, Keyla, Gracie, Paizlee, and Doctor Biddulph. The service was excellent and the staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. My kids are deathly afraid of the dentist, but the staff helped calmed their nerves and erase all fears they previously had. We walked away happy and with healthy smiles. Thanks for a great experience!

Fantastic experience: Very nice and very caring went out of there way to make sure my daughter had a great time.very professional and told me ways to save money. Highly recommended and very good with kids. Dr Thomas was the sweetest and made my daughter laugh. Alisha A and M were amazing Paizlee was so caring. Everything explained and all my questions were answered. Thank you! For taking care of my child with care.

Negative experience: I really felt that the hygienist dropped the ball! She spent hardly any time on my kid's teeth and then I asked for a printout of the next steps and instead I got what they did that day. They were also supposed to set up an appointment with the orthodontist, but she couldn't be bothered. Overall I feel they've gone down hill from a few years ago. Very disappointing! It looks great for really little kids, but for any one over 10 I wouldn't recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Great experience here. My son is terrified of dentists, we have been to several and finally we found the place that puts him at ease. He had 3 cavities filled today and it went great. So glad they have the minimal sedation. The tokens are so fun at the end for the kids so they can choose a toy. Shoutout to Savannah, Dr. Thomas, and the sweet redhead who works up front. Keyla and Paizlee were also amazing
