Fantastic experience: Loved how sweet the staff is! Had two appointments with two doctors and both were lovely. They made sure I was feeling okay throughout. They also have a complimentary comfort menu and they have Netflix, music, blanket and pillow to make sure you’re super comfy!

Fantastic experience: Wow. Dr. Chow and his team continue to amaze me with their excellent service. About a month ago I had a very old crown the came off. I called in and asked for the next available appointment. They wanted me to come in that day and searched for a spot to get me in (Dr Chow later told me it is their goal to get people in the same day something like this happens). I thought this would take multiple visits to fully correct. NOPE. They took care of everything in one simple sitting. Cleaned, prepped, created a new one and placed it. The true meaning of one stop shopping. Thanks Doc and thanks to your team as well.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited this Salinas Valley Dental Care for a filling, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed and at ease. Everyone was kind, professional, and respectful, which made a huge difference since I was a little nervous going in. Jonathan and Jocelyn ( I am sorry if I get one of the names wrong) took the time to explain everything before anything was done. Then Dr. Hamal proceeded with the procedure and made sure I was completely comfortable throughout. I really appreciated how gentle and attentive they were, it made the whole process feel much less intimidating. The filling itself was quick and painless, and the results were fantastic. I left the clinic not only with my molars and teeth taken care of but also with total peace of mind. It’s clear they take great pride in both their work and how they treat their patients. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy, welcoming, and skilled dental team. I’m actually looking forward to my next visit!

Fantastic experience: Most important it is easy to make an appointment. Second, if you pay $27 membership a month, you have two free clean teeth a year, also one or twice free emergency appointments and Xray is always free. Also the office is open Saturday. Some other benefits I don’t remember.. last, nobody wants to wait for treatment . This dental office have at least 5 dentists and two dental surgeons. Next time you have dental issues, give them a try.

Positive experience: The stars are only for the equipment. Was new and state of the art. However I went and my treatments was 2 times more then a different clinic. Same exact treatment plan. 3-4 k in difference. Also during my exam the have a giant screen facing the walk way . The doors are all glass so patients being treated behind you or walking as well as other staff can see everything . After the take photos and X-rays they understandably show yo then however the project them on. 50 in flat screen . I found this extremely uncomfortable and a bit concerned for my privacy. A different exterior Plano might be better. Also the doctor was polite and professional but little very quick and did not feel as if a rapport was trying to be established. Just very matter of fact. Overall extremely OVERPRICED .

Fantastic experience: The service provided was great from the moment I walked in to when I left. They engage and try to make sure you’re comfortable. They even provide some streaming apps, hot towels, pillow and blanket if wanted. They ask questions to find out more about you… they explain as little or as much detail as you want to know during your appointment. Esmeralda, AJ, & Dr Michele were great.

Positive experience: Super friendly and understanding staff. From when you walk in the door, during your appointment and when leaving. Availability is really flexible. Staff always asks how I am doing and checks in on me while doing whatever service I am there for that day. I am so glad I found them for my dental work. I have recommended friends to go there too.

Positive experience: 5 for the people, place, equipment. 1 for being too successful and busy, so averaged to a 3 star rating. now so busy I couldn't get next cleaning appointment in 6 months, over 7 to next available. I pay for 2 a year and can't get that now. If they don't hire more people for cleanings I'll have to go elsewhere

During the treatment my mid went ba to true 1940s when going to dentist meant entering a huge too where up to twenty kids were getting dental care crying and screaming (from pain)! The experience was great as far as a visit to the dentist could be. I wasn’t a client for them but I called and explained my situation to them and they had me in the office within half an hour. I was impressed that they had equipment in the facility to create the crown I needed. I will continue as a client for them.

Negative experience: If you don’t confirm the appointments via text, they cancel. Can’t really give them any credit for my toddlers visit because they didn’t do anything.

However, the constant push for upselling additional treatments and products was frustrating. It felt more like a sales pitch than a dental visit, which made the overall experience less comfortable

Fantastic experience: Exceptional customer service from check in to check out. The leadership at this location clearly has designed a well thought out experience for their patients and the staff execute with the upmost professionalism and are very personable.

Positive experience: The dental exam was fine, although I had expected to get the crown I was told I needed. The problems came when trying to schedule another appointment for the crown. The person I spoke to out front gave me two possible dates. I was to call when home to schedule one. When I called from home the person who answered the phone said I could not schedule the appointment because my contract had run out, but my husband and I pay a monthly fee. I was also told the the person in charge would call me about it. It is more than a week later and I have received no call.

Alex , completed my X rays and photos.Dr. Hamal went over procedures that I should have done, with clear explanations... Angie, was the dental hygienist. She was very through and efficient. Over all over very pleased with my 1st.

Positive experience: Original appt was canceled. Fluoride treatment is no longer the sticky gunk. You now get to enjoy the feeling of clean teeth even after the fluoride treatment. Visit was as expected.

Loved the staff started off with a cleaning and had some x rays taken due to a concern of discomfort on my tooth Dr.Maciel came in checked and addressed the issue. Negative experience: I went here as a recommendation from co workers. I’m a practicing medical profesional, which I never disclose. I had a cavity with a large chip in my tooth and their treatment plan was after 5 mins was to extract the tooth and get a dental implant. Which oh by the way would be 8,000.00 and a 4- month process. No clinical reasoning behind the plane. There was no pain, no bad breath, no bad taste, they did the cold test without problem. Majority of the tooth was there, the x-rays looked pretty good. They charged me 188.00 for that visit. I went to another dentist on a free consultation and they they told me due to the size of the crack we will have to do a canal and crown which was done the day of the visit crown placed 2 days later. I’m not saying that that the work done at this place is bad. I’m giving it a lower rating because it’s a lot of smoke and mirrors. I don’t care about your fancy IPads and Netflix while I wait. I care about the quality of your service. With COVID and these accelerated programs having Dr in front of your name doesn’t hold as much weight. Don’t be stupid! I recommend getting second opinions on their procedure recommendations because either their crooked or their dentists lack experience it’s one or the other. I also recommend getting a second opinion considering their price because they will try to upcharge you to fund the fancy smoke and mirrors. I’m an honest medical professional and experienced. One of the best. You don’t have to like my review, but listen to what I am saying and you will without a doubt appreciate this… and see for yourself. I made sure I didn’t call out anyone specifically, because I could have. Best luck to all!

Fantastic experience: Changing a Dentist, it is always been a very challenging decision. Salinas Valley Dental Care made that decision for me really easy. From the moment I checked in, I was greeted with warm smile and introduced me to the team. I like the way they listen to your priorities and all bottoms line recommendation to better your teeth. Definitely, I will be bringing my whole family and friends here.

Doctors are super nice and very detailed, especially Dr Bui ( make sure you schedule with her). From the clean rooms to the friendly professional staff. Fantastic experience: Salinas Valley Dental Care is one of the largest and most organized office I’ve been to. My visits were exceptional. The staff was incredibly professional, punctual, and accommodating. On my first visit, I had a filling done by Dr. Goldman. She’s very passionate about her work and thoroughly addressed all my concerns, and make sure I felt comfortable and well-cared for throughout the procedure. The filling was done perfectly, and I don’t have any food stuck between my teeth. For my second visit, I had AJ as my dental hygienist who was both professional and personable. He was incredibly thorough and knowledgeable with his work, and took his time answering my all of my concerns. During my cleaning, I appreciated how AJ would explain the next steps and their purpose during my visits. It makes me feel more comfortable and informed. Highly highly recommend them both!

Negative experience: Staff has been nice and they have tvs to watch movies or listen to music. My real complaint is they messed up on a fill next to my moler by leaving a big gap between both teeth. They made me wait 3 months to go back and fix it. So imagine getting any food you eat stuck in the gap! I had to floss 3-6 times as a day! I had to carry floss in my purse and left an extra one at work just incase. It was horrible!

Fantastic experience: Haven’t been to a dentist appointment n a while a lot has changed or there just that good. Everyone was super friendly and straight to the point. The X-rays were super fast and very easy. I had a deep cleaning that didn’t hurt at all and I have not had a cleaning since I was a young teenager. Definitely recommend Salinas valley Dental Care on south main next to the star market shopping center.

A recurring issue I've experienced is their aggressive flossing technique, which leaves my gums sore for days despite my daily flossing routine. Their insistence on "really getting into the gum line" feels excessive and unnecessarily harsh. I've been with this practice since its early days, and unfortunately, it has declined in quality over time. What was once a more thoughtful and patient-focused environment has shifted to something I'm less enthusiastic about. One particularly frustrating aspect is their lack of support with administrative needs. For example, they recommend treatments or products but refuse to provide a simple Letter of Medical Necessity for FSA reimbursement. This lack of effort and unwillingness to assist with their own recommendations is disappointing and adds unnecessary stress for patients. Overall, Salinas Valley Dental might work for those in a rush, but if you're looking for attentive, patient-centered care, you may want to explore other options.

Negative experience: Terrible!!!!!!!!! 800 for a temp crown and at least 3 hours only for it to slip off next day and they are closed. I can’t be at work like this. A dentist didn’t even do the work and it looked bad. For one dentist to touch my gum and asked if it hurt cost 80 bucks! I am livid and know others with very similar experiences!

Listen to me and took info for the dentist . . The dentist came in and was considerate and heard me out explained that it would be wise to go back to the endodontist that did my root canal . . Fantastic experience: I walked in complaining of an aching tooth hoping I could make an appointment not sure of such considering this was a holiday week, New Years. To my surprise I was taken in within 10 minutes. An examination and X-ray taken. Relieved to learn not an emergency and rescheduled appointment for after holidays. Fantastic experience: An experience I have NEVER had at another dental office. You usually check in, taken straight to the room, then your out. For my first time attending, I checked in, provided something to drink, taken on a tour, then was seen by two dental assistants (one for X-rays and the other to look at my teeth) and then the dentist to collaborate on my care, and then checked out. They even shared that to help me feel comfortable they provide not only the usual such as calming music or nitrous oxide, but Netflix and other apps. They made sure to ask what helps me feel comfortable. Everyone greeted me with either a smile or a hi when I was walking through the building. Very nice experience. I am a person that doesn’t like to go as I have had bad experiences. This time I am happy to go again.

Up-To-Date equipment and service that was so sweet, I didn't even want to leave. Walking out the door they hand you a dental swag bag. How awesome is that. I am so lucky to find this place.
