Fantastic experience: Today was our son’s very first dentist appointment and we were worried it wasn’t going to go smoothly due to him being scared in a new environment. Everyone was so kind, informative, and understanding of any situation that would happen. Dr Hohenstein and the hygienist were awesome and made sure he was happy and having a good experience. They also made sure to give us valuable information regarding his teeth and made sure to listen and answer any questions or concerns that we had. Our son was smiling and so calm the entire time. The office is so adorable and kid friendly. I’m so happy the experience was great and that our son will be excited to go back! He loves his little stuffy he was given as well! Negative experience: Love Dr Hohenstein but cannot believe when I need to reschedule a cleaning for my son it will be another 6 mth wait. This would make it a full year since his last cleaning. We have been going here for 15 years and did not want to leave but they clearly cannot accommodate the amount of patients that they have. I will move him over to Premier Dental with the rest of our family. They got him in for his cleaning in 2 mths. Bri at Smile Station couldn't have cared less.

Fantastic experience: For over 20yrs. Dr Hohenstein has been taking care of my special needs son and continues to give him the best dental care around. Ashley has been doing Brady's ultrasonic cleanings for over a decade and has been dedicated to his care. The facility is wonderful, and I honestly don't know what I would do without them. Thank you so much for taking such great care of Braeden all this time. He looks forward to seeing you guys when he comes in for cleanings.

Fantastic experience: This is the most efficiently run dental office I have ever stepped foot in. We are usually in and out for routine cleanings in under 30 minutes. Everyone is always so nice and welcoming, my daughter LOOKS FORWARD to going to the dentist. It is never a struggle. We see Dr. Matt and he is great! Very personable and professional. I would recommend this dental group to anyone looking!

Fantastic experience: My 7 year old daughter and I both loved Smile Station Pediatric Dentistry. Being new in Omaha, our insurance listed this dentistry for us to choose among many others. This location was close to home. Everyone from the front desk staff to dental assistant, hygienist and the dentist were knowledgeable and helpful. Absolutely explaining everything. The environment is also very much a kid friendly place! Absolutely recommend.

Fantastic experience: ***We’ve added a new and FINAL client*** We had our third child and she is now almost 2.5 years. She was very curious watching brothers. So taking 3 kids at once is totally a breeze for both family and dentistry. The sweet gal who took care of my little princess did so well making her feel comfortable and open up. Same with Dr Jamie. I have no complaints whatsoever for this place. <3 **EXTRA UPDATE** My more difficult child had to have 2 fillings done and he was super nervous about it all. He’s 4.5 years young so he doesn’t care for foreign objects in his mouth. I called ahead of time and spoke with Jennifer as I was worried about how they were going to poke him with a needle and do all this. She thoroughly explained the procedure to me. When we arrived and got back to the chair my son climbed up in there and they got him comfortable and put laughing gas. They then proceeded on poking him and he squirmed a little bit. However the way the staff interacts with the children is amazing because it is in a language they understand it in a fun way. I feel like both of my children had no clue what was going on but had a good time. I think having a great experience at a dentist at a young age will set the stage for their future. I plan on returning for as long as my children can attend. Please keep up the great work and excellent communication with your staff members. But it’s also nice to have cool prize machines for the kids to choose afterwards. Soooo I’m a stay at home momma who thought it was a good idea to take a 3.5 and 5 year old boys to the dentist at the same time. First visit ever! The staff was hands down amazing. I didn’t know what to expect. I always feel like I’m running a circus and the visit went smoothly as can be. One child had no cavities and did awesome. He was the one I was worried about. Hahaha. My oldest had 4 cavities and in need of one pulled as it had went to the root and a spacer put in. That is all scheduled for next week. Dr. Bryce knelt next to me and explained perfectly what was going on with both children and what the plan of action should be for the oldest. Everything was in terms that I understood and felt comfortable with. (Sad my baby boy has to have a tooth pulled, but very confident in his abilities.) Thanks for making the dentist fun and not at all scary. UPDATE: Y’all!!! I’m here to tell you the worst part of going here: I cried my eyes out at first to see my baby boy having so much work needing to be done at once. Heart breaking for a mom to watch her firstborn. But let me tell you this, Doc Bryce and his assistant were top notch. My son felt no pain during and very little after. Like who goes through that with such little pain?!?! He was relaxed, then I was relaxed and the whole procedure went flawlessly in my eyes. He went home and told his younger brother about how he needed to take great care of his teeth but if he did get any cavities and needed any teeth pulled the doctor Bryce had his back and was very nice and it was simple. What five-year-old so that was three-year-old brother? Not that I want to see this crew again in this manner, but if I had to, I’d choose them over and over. Thanks guys for making this a not so scary experience for such a young man.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has had a lot of medical trauma. She used to not even be able to sit still in a dentist chair. I am in awe of how well she just did having 2 teeth filled. It was quick and full of compassion. I especially love how there are no “scary” medical terms ever used. I wish the entire medical industry could take a lesson from the folks in this office. I am so grateful for what they have done for me and our daughter.

Fantastic experience: Our almost 13 year old son has been going to Smile Station since he was just 1 year old and we have ALWAYS had a great experience with all of the staff. From the moment you walk in and are greeted by the receptionist all the way to the billing person at the end of your visit everyone is amazing! Dr. Bryan has amazing rapport with his patients as well as the parents.

Fantastic experience: Best spot to take your kids for anything dental . We’ve been here a few times and they are always all very nice staff. And always so caring to kids. We’ve had a few times we’ve been in not just for cleanings but for fillings and they have taken very good care of my daughter making sure she was pain free. I wish when I was younger I had a dentist like this who cared and was t pushy. We’ve also been in for x rays as one kid got a tooth knocked out at school and we were scared it was an adult tooth and they immediately relieved us it was not right after x rays were taken. I’ve also have had to take my kids a few times while my husband has been deployed and staff have asked me how he’s doing and if I’m doing okay . And that’s what a real caring business does they don’t just care about their patients they care about the parents too. We will absolutely will be keeping smile station as our kids dentists till we retire here or PCS elsewhere. They have alot of games and things going on for kids to be distracted while cleanings . They are fast . All kids get their own tv and get to choose what they want to watch it’s a very clean and amazing space .

Fantastic experience: Jackie the hygienist is amazing. She coached my daughter through the whole experience and made sure we got everything we needed. Super sweet lady who went above and beyond to be sure my daughter didn’t just get her teeth cleaned but had fun doing so!

Fantastic experience: From the office staff to our dental assistant to Dr Matt we loved the experience! Having a 2 and 4 year old at the dentist can be stressful for the kids (and the parent who is taking them). The kids got to each choose cartoon toothbrushes, watch a variety of shows, and even receive prizes after! It was a fantastic experience!

Positive experience: We had a great experience! My only suggestion would be to send paperwork electronically when an initial appointment is made. That way it can be completed ahead of time rather than while I had to juggle a toddler in the office.

Negative experience: They are shady, slimy, and only out for your money. Save your time and money and go somewhere that actually cares about you. Our initial experience was absolutely wonderful. However, once things hot handed off to the lady in charge of estimates and contracts, that changed very quickly. She told me not only that Dr Bass must have lied to my face about splitting procedures up to make it affordable, but went on to tell me it would be unethical if they didn't fix everything all at once, despite what we could afford. I tried to speak with her and get a consult with her, Dr. Bass and myself to get things addressed but have been ignored. I cannot for the life of me understand why the dentist would have specifically told me she could and would, break it down into MULTIPLE other options to try to fit our family if it was unethical to begin with? Past this, the actual work they want to do is an absolute joke, and I would be happy to break down the specifics for anyone who would like to know. So not only were we apparently blatantly lied to in person, but they are now refusing to do anything for my kid unless they do everything at once (which I will not be able to afford for at least 2 years), they do not offer payment plans, and they never actually gave us a number on how much the anesthesia would be. Further, they ignored my multiple requests to try to get everyone on the same page and work things out. They are shady, slimy, and only out for your money. Save your time and money and go somewhere that actually cares about you.

Fantastic experience: I am so so pleased with Smile Station. I was very dedicated to our former dentist, and hesitant to switch. I LOVE that the staff speaks to the kids as equals and explains things to them in a way they relate. We had a procedure done and we were in and out in 20 minutes, where other places would take 2 hours. I was shocked when I looked at the time. Dr Bryan is a great dentist and super kind. Beyond impressed.

Fantastic experience: This place is the absolute best for kids dentistry. My three year old and my five year old love it here so much and it shows through their excitement when I say we are going to the dentist today. All the staff from the receptionist to the dental techs, to Matt Schieber- everyone is so great. I personally feel that both of my girls get their own special attention during their visits. I don’t feel judged or guilted when being educated about ways to help improve my girls dental hygiene. We all know as parents this can be very difficult. They are patient and kind to my oldest who has ASD. We love the Smile Station.

Fantastic experience: Smile Station is family and patient centered. While they are busy and efficient, they always personalize the experience and have made every one of my 6 kids love coming to the dentist. They take the time to make each kid feel comfortable, explain their concerns, and most importantly, they empower the kids to be their own advocates, talking about their own care and preferences and going at a pace the child is comfortable.

Fantastic experience: I decided upon Smile Station even though I live SO FAR AWAY because I didn't want my son to grow up with the same fear of the dentist that I and his father did. Boy are we glad we chose Smile Station! The office atmosphere is amazing, everyone is so friendly, and all the techs are so kind to me and my son. Dr. Matt is always so friendly and has always put my son at ease. The whole office is amazing. Even if it takes me 30+ minutes to get to them each time, I'll continue the drive to ensure my son continues his love for seeing the dentist - because, my son actually gets excited and jumps for joy when it's dentist day! Update: 9 years later, we continue to see Dr. Matt at Smile Station because they care. The Assistants are awesome and we never leave with unanswered questions.
