Negative experience: This place is quantity instead of quality! I’m referring to the orthodontic side. The doctor spent more time with me, when I was try to decide to get braces. After that, every month you come for a adjustment or changing the wires, the doctor just come see you for 10 seconds tops. I finished my treatment, the result was ok, (I was expecting better). I had to wear bite blocks for the whole treatment and had blue residue left over in my teeth, . For the record I got my teeth cleaned today from another place and the dentist took off the blue residue left. From the dentist side, be careful, the insurance supposed to cover the normal 6 months cleaning, but for some reason they still charged you for the teeth cleaning, and they will not give you service if you don’t call your insurance to cover the charges, even though that’s their job. If you want a quality care, don’t go here.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Nguyen is so great with the kids! . The staff is very welcoming and accommodating and we truly appreciate Zuly with how she does the kids cleaning. she is very sweet and reassuring to make the kids feel safe during their cleaning process.

Dr. Johnson and Zuly took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all my questions with patience and care. The staff were friendly, and I truly felt like I was in good hands.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to this clinic since i was 5 years old , i am 17 now. Dr Giraldo has been my doctor. She’s awesome and so patient when it comes to her patients. Fantastic experience: Smile Sonrisa is a dental clinic full of friendliness and helpfulness from the moment you step inside. During my son’s check-up, we met Dr. Quach and dental assistants, Aura, Zuly, Yndra, Leydi, and Michelle. They made us feel at ease and provided excellent care. Later, my son required a crown and cavities to be filled. Dr. Giraldo and his team took over for sedation. They explained the procedure thoroughly and kept me informed throughout his procedure. Fantastic experience: 5 stars max!! After spent a whole day to look up a Dentist Doctor, I felt very luck to know this Dental Office. My son, 5 years old who got fever in 3 days in the weekend because of his toothaches. My wife and I were worried about him. We went to three Dental Offices, and they could not help my son. I could say "2 scam Dental offices and regular Dental office". At 3:30 p.m on that Monday, we got a reference from My Wife's Dentist doctor about "Smile Sonrisa Dental & Orthodontics" We came to the Office around 4:00 p.m, and my son got to X-ray and exam very quick. Then, we got a plan for his treatment on the next day with a very good price. I was so worrying about the Dentist Operation because my son who scare very much to Dentist. However, the Operation went very smoothly, and all the bad teethes were treatment. Absolutely, my son cried much, but he did not freak out at all. The Doctor and nurses were very professional on their job. When I saw my son came out the Operation room with calm, my heart was relief so much. Thank you to God for that day. And thank you to all the staffs, specially Dr. Quack, Nurse Zoly and Nurse Aura for Oral Sedation. I highly recommend this Dental Office. If you have small kids who scare very much to Dentist and have small budget, you must come to this Office for all Dentist Treatments.

Fantastic experience: Mayra in the front desk is wonderful to deal with when scheduling appts., she is very knowledgeable and pleasant. I initially had visited another dentist and decided to come for a second opinion, so glad I did because the experience and the thoroughness of the dental exam here were worth the wait and the pay. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left all of the staff were kind, professional, and knowledgeable. The staff were able to coordinate for me to be seen on the same day for additional work. Very attentive and answered all my questions.

Negative experience: I was satisfied with their service but I don't agree with the appointment cancellation policy. They want to charge $25 OR MORE for canceling an appointment, so I can't really have any problems? I find that totally absurd. And they also threaten to send the case to collections if you don't pay a charge that I find unnecessary. Nowhere do they charge you for not going to an appointment. I wanted to schedule with them again and they refused and they still want to charge me? I would NEVER go back to this place, what a lack of professionalism.

Positive experience: I love this dentist even more, with all that’s going on with the coronavirus, they are taking all the necessary procedures to make sure that we are all healthy and safe. They check your temperature, have wipes to wipe down everything and germ-x for customers hands! And their service is spectacular, have been coming here for over 7 years. Keep up the great service! -update- After my last visit, I would say there’s some area that they can improve in. No apology for a mistake in their part. Have to miss work again because the doctor forgot to remove all stitches when it was supposed to be done on my previous visit. Other than that, still a good dentist.

I just wish they wouldn't be so persistent with parents to leave reviews while they're working on your child's teeth. Negative experience: Yesterday, I called to reschedule my appointment with the orthodontist. The receptionist who answered said that was the only available day and asked if I wanted to keep my appointment. I wanted to know their other availability, even if it wasn't for this week. She said she would transfer me to that department. She placed me on hold for 30 min, and during that time, she would pick up the line and put me back on hold. I called from another line, which she answered. (I took screenshots) I told her to go ahead and cancel my appointment and told her she still had me on hold online. She didn't provide any update as to why I was on hold. While I was on hold, I would appreciate it if she checked in on me instead of immediately placing me on hold. Or if she could have had someone to call me back, who could have helped me? What baffled me was that she could cancel the appointment but could not reschedule. I understand any business is busy, but If this is how you treat all your cash-paying patients. The professionalism and customer service of the establishment have dramatically increased since I started bringing my son here.

Negative experience: I have always had positive experiences at this dental establishment and have been bringing my daughter here since she was 6 months old. Unfortunately, today was our worst experience, and it will be our last. My 3-year-old daughter was scheduled for a small procedure involving two fillings. I agreed to proceed because I was reassured that I would be able to monitor her through surveillance cameras, as parents were not encouraged to be in the room to avoid upsetting the child. The medical assistant explained the oral sedation and restraint process, and I was assured that my daughter would never be left alone and a female assistant would always be present. I agreed to this and paid in advance. On the day of the appointment, my daughter struggled to take the medication, and the staff kindly let us wait in a private lobby until it took effect. However, when she was called in, I was stopped from accompanying her and asked to return to the lobby. Feeling uneasy, I began looking for the cameras I had been promised to monitor her. To my surprise, I was told that the cameras were not working, and if they were fixed, I would not be allowed to watch her the entire time due to HIPAA policy — something that had never been mentioned before. While discussing this issue with the staff, I heard my daughter screaming, “I don’t like this. Let me go. I want my mommy.” Hearing her distress was heartbreaking, and I refused to leave her door despite their insistence that I return to the lobby. They attempted to justify her cries by saying she was only scared because she was surrounded by unfamiliar people. They offered to reschedule the appointment for a time when the cameras were working, but as a healthcare worker with limited time off, this was not feasible for me. I had paid in advance for this procedure, and all I wanted was to ensure my daughter’s safety. When I was briefly allowed to peek into the room, I saw my daughter restrained and visibly terrified. They quickly closed the door and asked me to return to the lobby. Throughout this ordeal, I felt the staff lacked empathy for both me and my daughter. Additionally, I was told there were new findings on her X-rays, requiring an additional payment for another tooth that was not identified initially. When the procedure finally ended, my daughter’s eyes were swollen, with broken blood vessels around them, and there were bruises on her wrist. She appeared dissociated until she saw us and immediately started crying again. On the way home, she repeatedly asked why we had left her alone and told us how scared she was. Seeing my daughter traumatized like this was incredibly heartbreaking. Later, during her wellness check-up, she was still in a state of fear. I can no longer trust this establishment with my child’s care and will not be returning. This experience was traumatic for my daughter and our family, and I hope no other parent has to endure what we did.

Negative experience: extremely unprofessional, got diffrent information from different employees .. was moved on to a so called manager who Proceeded to say the doctor was gonna do what was necessary for the treatment which is understandable, but when the wrong information is given to me by your employees, and you don't know who to blame and don't know how to accept a fault i find that extremly upsetting ... i asked for someone above who ever this so called manager was she said to come back next week i asked for a name she stated she couldnt give me a name because they were changing staff... at the end of the day They didnt know how to accept someone dropped the ball !!! Is the so called manager who decided to sit me down to say its wasnt the doctors fault it wasnt her receptions fault that "these things happen" im sorry but as a business owner myself i would never charge a client without making sure she understood what she was paying for!

Negative experience: My daughter checked in for her appointment, paid her fees and was handed a receipt with the name of a different person and different address on it. Similar name, different spelling. Notified the receptionist and it was fixed, but I already had someone else's personal information in my hand. I wonder, who have they shared MY information with?

They strap your kids down and don’t even come update you to let you know if you’re kids are screaming or crying. They make you wait for a very long time before being seen and even after giving your child the medicine to make them calm they take forever to be seen like til the medicine wears off. I can’t believe I used to come here I didn’t know they were strapping down my kids even though my kids are calm, they MAKE the experience scary for them. They don’t even let u in room because they said it would make the kids more scared and want to leave out of the chair.

Fantastic experience: I went to go fix my bite because i had an underbite and other orthodontist recommend jaw surgery, but here with Dr. Arguello we proceeded with braces it’s been 2 years a whole process but i’m proud to say that everything turned out well the results are amazing truly outstanding work! also you have to be responsible when putting the elastics those were key to adjusting your teeth. They have a great assistants there and the staff is very friendly. I personally recommend Smile Sonrida Dental.
