Since our inception over twenty-five years ago, the mission of Welch Dental Group
has always been to provide the highest level of family and cosmetic dental care

Negative experience: After many years I decided to find a different dentist. It is difficult to get an appointment that isn't 6 months out. Feel staff could have been a lot more empathatic to me, kind and understanding on more than one occassion. The dental care itself was excellent.

Negative experience: I’m very disappointed with our experience at Welch Dental Group. We were told that my daughter needed 10 cavities filled and they scheduled all of them to be done. However, after my insurance changed to which they would not accept, we got a second opinion from a new dentist. The new provider showed us the X-rays and explained that only two of the cavities actually needed to be filled at this time—the others should be monitored, not drilled right away. They also pointed out that her wisdom teeth were coming in and already causing crowding, something the previous office never mentioned. I feel like the original treatment plan was overly aggressive and not in my daughter’s best interest. As a parent, it’s upsetting to think we almost put her through unnecessary procedures. I’d strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to any major dental work here.

Fantastic experience: My first visit with Welch Dental was easy to set up and the front office personnel were pleasant to work with. The hygienist was very thorough taking care of my cleaning and X-rays. Dr. Ho was recommended by a friend. I am pleased to have found this practice for my dental needs.

Fantastic experience: I don't like going to the dentist! But I have to admit, Welch Dental could very easily make me change my mind. Everyone there is very nice and professional, and thanks to the caring hygienists, dentists, and equipment they use, it's as quick, simple, and painless as it can be. I hadn't seen a dentist in a few years, but I needed to go yesterday to get clearance for another unrelated procedure. The cleaning I had dreaded went so smoothly I was surprised when it was over. Regular, consistent dental care is so important. Welch Dental makes it easy, and dare I say pleasant!

Positive experience: They’re fine; but since you see different people on the staff you really don’t develop a relationship with anyone. My former dentist had his own practice so really got to know him and the staff. Sadly, so many medical practitioners have had to go the “corporate culture way” due to $$$$, and any relationships are a thing of the past.

Fantastic experience: Nobody ever wants to just go to the dentist because they want to….except me…ever since I’ve been coming to Welch Dental Group. This place is like no other dental clinic around. I’ve been coming here for about 10 years and it’s the first time I’ve ever looked forward to seeing the dentist. Dr. Ho is absolutely the best dentist in the whole wide world!!! Dustie is the best hygienist in the whole wide world!!! This is a busy office but they still treat you like family. So busy they had to open a second place. I totally recommend this dental clinic. If you have a bad experience with these guys it’s your own fault.

Fantastic experience: This place is the greatest. Ms. Lena at the front desk is always so kind and full of energy early in the morning. Fantastic experience: I have used Welch Dental for years and have been pleased with their hospitality, kindness, attention to detail. They are usually pretty quick to get you in any out (45min -1 hour for normal cleaning and checkup). Charlene was my dental hygienist this week and she was super sweet and did a great job. I’ve also had cavities in the past that they have taken care of and have been pleased with their Dentists as well. Great facility!

Fantastic experience: The staff at Welch Dental Cypress is absolutely phenomenal! Special shout out to my hygienist, Sherry. She is so personable and has the most gentle for touch I’ve ever experienced with a cleaning. She makes you feel incredible comfortable and is so warming. Truly, she’s like a hug! Positive experience: I’ve been going to this dental office for the past three years. Dr. Gerges is amazing, super nice, and has really great bedside manners. She always takes the time to make sure you’re comfortable and explains everything clearly. The front desk staff is also really friendly and helpful, which makes check-ins and scheduling a breeze. The only downside for me is that not all of the hygienists are very personable, so sometimes it feels more like a quick in-and-out visit rather than a place where you build a strong connection with the team. Overall, I keep coming back because Dr. Gerges is great, and I trust the care I’m getting.

Positive experience: My wife and I are new patients at Welch Dental. We made dental cleaning appointments for 2 PM for both of us. I was called a bit after 2, but my wife was kept waiting for a long time. Many people who came after us got called in while she still waited. Then after the cleaning was done, she was told to sit in a waiting area for some time until she saw me waiting outside. Then we asked the front desk if she still needed to wait. There was no need to wait since our dental work was covered by insurance. The extraordinarily long wait time for my wife to get service, and the wait for nothing afterwards are unacceptable!

Fantastic experience: Welch Dental has been my dentist for well over 10 years. Like many, I am not a fan of going to the dentist and had a borderline phobia. But, my hygienist, Dustee, takes amazingly gentle care of me every time! I've had major dental work performed and it was a similarly great experience. They take wonderful care of all of their patients. They check my b/p before my cleanings and yesterday it was perfectly normal. No anxiety whatsoever! From the very friendly front office team to the dentists themselves, they are all awesome in every way and I would give them 6 stars if I could. Tell Dustee that I sent you - and Welch leadership, give that pro a BIG raise!!!

Negative experience: The experience this morning with Welch Dental Group’s agent is horrible, the lady K who called us trying to reschedule our appointment due to weather conditions which is very understandable, however she is super inpatient and unprofessional trying to push us to a location that is 50 min away from our address. Otherwise will put our appointment 6 months later from the original appointment date. We initially made this appointment half year ago. We liked this place, the dentist, assistant and all stuffs are super nice and friendly. They really need have this agent to work on her communication skills and be more professional and patient with their patients.

Fantastic experience: Friendly and Professional. My cap broke off on New Year’s Eve. . I called them as soon as they were open on January 2nd. They squeezed me in. Took x-rays, cleaned the cap and tooth, and replaced the cap in just an hour. A great job! Welch dentists and staff are exceptional. They are well-trained, greet you with a smile, and only provide the services that are medically indicated. The hygienist was friendly and kept me informed throughout the cleaning, followed by the dentist examining each tooth and gums. Great job from a great team!

She did an excellent job from taking X-rays, checking my gum, to removing plaque, brushing and flossing, just perfect. She makes cleanings gentle yet thorough, ensuring comfortable experience. I've been coming to WDG for years but Ana has really elevated my cleaning experience with her expertise, genuine care and friendly personality. Ana is a true gem! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a top-notch dental hygienist. Looking forward to my next cleaning appointment with her.

Fantastic experience: I first started to use Welch Dental Group when my kids had their dental insurance through their dad’s employer. I had always used a different provider here in Katy. I moved over to WDG about 4 years ago due to an insurance issue with my other provider and I have to say they do everything right! From scheduling and insurance filing to, of course, the dental care itself!

Positive experience: I’ve been a very pleased patron for many years. Dustie is awesome! always pleasant and takes great care of me My only complaint is the unreasonable amount of time it t takes to checkout. Yesterday there were several of us waiting for way too long… not happy campers. Especially seeing one of the ladies not helping anyone for 10-15 minutes while we were waiting.

Fantastic experience: My first visit looking for a new dentist. A very clean and efficient practice. The staff were all friendly, the work efficient and well done. The consultation with the doctor thorough and looking forward (e.g., all looks good right now, a concern from previous dental work [thorough explanation of what the concern is and most importantly why]. We could fix it now, but it doesn't appear to be something that needs to be done now, let's keep an eye on it). I left feeling like their practice is focused on my oral health not what they can get out of me right now. Our entire family is moving to this practice. Very impressed all around.
