Negative experience: Dr. Brady Lybbert performed a cavity fixture procedure did not properly executed his task was brought to his attention did offer to re-do his work I claimed that if he didn't do it right the 1st time I no longer wanted him to touch my teeth I did get my money back and seeked to get the procedure from a different dentist risas told me that they did not want to deal with me and dismissed me if something was not done correctly I have to say something.

Negative experience: I don’t recommend Risas Dental if you’re on a tight schedule or value your time. I’ve been consistently kept waiting over 40 minutes past my scheduled appointments. I’ve even had to reschedule more than once because the wait was so long. This happened after I had already called in late to work specifically for the appointment, which meant missing out on pay. It’s frustrating and unprofessional. If they can't stay on schedule, they should be more upfront when booking.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Risas for years but today was my first time at this location. The experience was the best because I finally got confirmation by the dentist Lybbert why I was experiencing the pain. He is the first dentist that actually listened to me about my pain. The dental assistant Berenice was extremely nice and friendly. My teeth were extremely sensitive and Berenice was super cautious and patience with me while cleaning my teeth. I highly recommend them.

Negative experience: Risas Company has always been our family’s go to however this is by far one of the worst office I have ever been to they never call back even the rep that schedules for them advised me they have such a hard time in contact with this office …… we have gotten the run around for over 6 months due to them not communicating with their ortho office when I raised my concern I was welcomed with some young girls(Ashley) laughing and giggling over the issue we were dealing with the “office manager” comes into re tell me what they have already told me with different words as if I didn’t understand the first time this was the most unprofessional experience

Negative experience: They are not trans or gay friendly. They laugh behind patient’s backs all the time. Disgusting bigots.

Negative experience: I called to book an appointment, and Cynthia and Denise were unprofessional and uninformed about the practice. As a returning patient, I asked if I could get a cleaning along with my exam and X-rays, but they refused. It’s ridiculous to make patients book multiple visits for basic care—seems like a money grab. Total waste of time.

Fantastic experience: My doctor was Dr.Bonesteal and all his assistants were wonderful but today I had wisdom teeth removed he and his assistant mari were super patient and very careful with the procedure and very professional I appreciate Dr.Bonesteal and risas dental employees for making my experience super comfortable for me for sure highly recommend this dentist office to anyone. !!!

Negative experience: I’ve been trying to get ahold of them for 2 weeks straight to resolve an issue with a claim and nobody calls me back. This started since December of last year. I’ve left several messages including for the managers and they still don’t call back. I paid over $800 out of pocket and they easily took the payment but now won’t help resolve the insurance issue. I’m very frustrated because doctor Pool was great but not sure I want to return after the service they have given afterwards. The last person I spoke to was Sadie 2 weeks ago and have heard nothing since even though I keep calling almost every day. Customer service was also sending messages to the Managers who she said were Citlali and Ricky and said they wouldn’t respond.

Negative experience: 3 caps just done this week so waiting on permanent caps. Temporary caps fell off the first two days.. No way they were put in correctly. I called and they said come in at 9am. Because when they were done they acted like oh no big deal if they fall off just come in. Been back 2x so far and wait over 2 hours to get them fixed instead of just giving a cement to take home to fix it myself. Frustrating because they say just come in at 9am. Not telling you that you have to wait until someome doesnt show for their appointment.

Negative experience: I had such a bad experience here that I am never returning. I came for a check-up because one of my fillings popped out, which was confirmed by the dentist. He proceeded to tell me I had a few cavities, and he went to go clean them out. In a matter of 3 weeks, I don't know what he did, but I had to get an extraction on my back tooth! Mind you, I had no pain in my teeth nor ever had any sensitivity. He drilled the crap out of teeth while cleaning out my cavities, and then somehow I got an infection. I was in so much pain! Then he told me I needed a root canal, but the pain and sensitivity got worse. The day of my root canal, something went wrong because he told me he had to take my back tooth out! It wasn't even the tooth he was working on for the root canal. He tells me "oh this happens all the time," but couldn't tell me why it happened. My biggest mistake was not listening to my intuition when I felt something was wrong. The dentist was Mr. Figs! He ruined my teeth, and they are not the same. I have sensitivity to cold and hot now. I have no back tooth, so chewing food sucks. Funny thing, on top of that, he tells me I didn't need to get an implant for the tooth he just extracted because "we don't use that tooth for chewing." What? He knew something was wrong and just kept covering it until it was too late to fix. What dentist doesn't tell you the why behind what he did. He just kept saying "its alright. In the world of dentistry, we haven't figured everything out just yet." Like, dude, you just took my tooth out and got an infection. What are you talking about. This place reminded me of Western Dental! Horrible place. I found another dentist who couldn't believe why Mr. Figs did what he did. They didn't want to send my x rays they took to the new dentist. I would just say go here with caution and listen to yourself when you feel something is wrong!

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing the doctor Dr.Bonesteel is very kind and very fast with his work, and the dental assistant Maria is so caring and efficient with her work. Would highly recommend coming here. They have a great team and are very friendly when you walk in, the dental office is such a clean and organized place . I’ve been coming here for a while now and have braces, they also made me feel very comfortable even with my anxiety over being in dental offices.

Fantastic experience: I was more than satisfied with my first ever visit here at Risas dental, every concern that I had, was answered clearly. Dayanna up front helped me with getting checked in and made the beginning and the end of the paperwork process really easy. I was then assisted by Berenice, one of the dental assistants, she took the X-rays with caution and was also gentle, which in other dental offices some assistants are very aggressive with getting the X-ray where it needs to be. Berenice then had me follow her to the room where all the work was going to get done and was concerned with any problems that I was having to find the best solutions and recommendations. Dr. Lybbert, my dentist, then came in and introduced himself in a warm and welcoming manner. He then did a well oral exam to see what type of work needed to be done and what he recommended for the future. I got some fillings taken care of and didn’t feel any type of rough handling whatsoever. Once the fillings were done, he was also really patient with getting my bite back to level. Berenice then gave me some post instructions for the cleaning and work that was done so I wouldn’t have any troubles. I felt like I went in and out pretty quick, I booked my next appointment after the work was done and Dayanna made it simple and anything I had a question on, she had an answer to. Thank you guys again at Risas, I appreciate the patience and hospitality, I now found my new dental home!

Negative experience: How can they allow you to go over a month with a broken bracket in your braces? It will clearly affect treatment and this is clearly not in the best interest of the patient.

Fantastic experience: I always had this one tooth that wasn't lined up with the others. It always bothered me, but I never did anything about it. Well, in my older age, I decided to finally take care of it. After much research, reading reviews on a few different dental offices, I decided to give Risas a try. I'm so glad I did. Dr Larry and his smiling crew took great care of me, helping calm my nerves through the braces process. Well, 2½ years later, I finally had them gently removed this morning, and I'm excited with the results. I recommend Risas .

Negative experience: *** PLEASE READ*** I got to the braces appointment right on time not one minute late and checked in. I waited over 45 minutes until I started to fall asleep and everyone else that was being called in had arrived after me. I had to go and ask at the front desk just to find out that they had skipped and forgot about me! This is not the first issue I’ve had at this dentist office. I have been very patient and nice when they forget to call me to schedule an appointment and when they forget to call me before coming in to my appointment to tell me that they still don’t have the part for an implant. Or them trying to charge me for a balance that has already been paid for. Or them not verifying my insurance correctly and trying to charge me $900 instead of $200 because my insurance does cover the procedure needed. I only come here because it’s close to my house. It is very annoying and inconvenient. I’m sure it happens to everyone that comes here. It’s happened to me multiple times and I’m barely writing this review. Update .. this is a separate issue months later.. so I was seen on Monday 10/7 to redo a root canal. After 4 hours it was almost 8p by the time I was done. They said i had an infection so they sent me home with a physical paper prescription. I took the paper to Walgreens on Tuesday. Today is Wednesday and my prescription was finally ready. I picked up 3 medications for swelling and pain, no antibiotics prescribed. I called Risas and they said the Dr wasn’t in the office so that the only thing they can do to confirm if I need antibiotics for the infection is to physically go in to the office tomorrow Thursday (3 days later) to talk to the Dr and get another physical prescription paper. I asked the lady on the phone if they can just have the Dr look at my chart first thing and electronically send the prescription to the Walgreens to speed up the process since it’s not my mistake or to not go through anymore hassle for the inconvenience since I am in severe pain and my entire mouth hurts all the way up to my ear. She said no the only thing she can do is put a note in my chart and go in in person tomorrow. At this point if I can give them zero stars I would. Makes me feel like some of these 5 star reviews might be fake because there is no way I’m the only person this keeps happening to.
