Fantastic experience: Isabelle, thank you for a wonderful cleaning this is actually the second time you have serviced me while there in the office. Despite all the other negative things going on with my teeth you still take your time along with your staff to encourage me to still want to come and get the work done. Just wish my health insurance covered the care that I need it’s unfortunate that I have a medical condition that’s effecting my gums also not having my back teeth teeth it effects what I’m able to eat and chew it nerve wracking but the work will get done eventually in due time. Thank you for being so patient and understanding Also shout out to the receptionist for being extremely kind I came into the office around 3:30 with an appointment time for 5pm and they still allowed me to sign in and be serviced with any wait.

Negative experience: I WENT IN FOR AN EMERGENCY VISIT AND THEY DAMAGED MY TOOTH I hate leaving bad reviews but this was the worst experience I've ever had at a dentists office. It took 5 different iterations for them to create a filling that actually looked like a tooth. The quality of the work had me stressed the 4 hours I was there - it was simply messy and unprofessional. I was told "its just supposed to be temporary" but this is the smile I have to start a new job with - of course I want it to look nice. While they were working on the broken tooth, they put an indent in the tooth next to it. They attempted to fix that too. When I left the office, I was kind and grateful and said I liked it because I did genuinely appreciate the effort put in to make me happy - that being said, I only accepted the result because I knew it woudln't get any better. However, I was given improper aftercare advice and the work they did to fix the tooth they messed up broke. I went in the next morning and tried to speak with a manager or the doctor but they weren't in. The secretary said she would call the doctor (she didn't) and that we should email the manager who would be back in on Tuesday. In my email, I explained the sitaution and requested a refund as I now have to pay to get the tooth they damaged fixed. In his response, the doctor said, "We can also confirm that no procedures were performed on any other teeth, as it was not clinically indicated". This statement is FACTUALLY FALSE. They also did not address the improper aftercare instructions. There is no accountability for the multiples mistakes made. You can come to your own conclusions about the work they tried to send me home with.

Every time I visit, her professionalism and welcoming attitude instantly makes me feel at ease. Aleska is patient, and organized — explaining each step and making sure I’m comfortable the whole time. I can ask 100 questions and she always responds making sure I fully understand. You can tell Aleska genuinely cares about the patients and takes pride in what she does. Negative experience: The worst dentist experience in my life. Pros: staff and Dentist was nice including. Cons: The dentist is a con artist with a smile on his face. He told me I had a bacterial infection in my mouth that needed a deep cleaning and medication($2000.00). I couldn’t get one service with out the other. He also told me I could get 4 crowns for $8000.00. Although crowns are covered under my insurance he only recommends the $8,000.00 crowns or my teeth won’t look good because of the materiel. They intimidated me to take out a $9,000.00 because supposedly my insurance would not cover it. It was an aggressive sales pitch with him and some woman in a blazer throwing numbers and pictures of bad teeth examples at me for what felt like about an hour. The cleaning was about 15 minutes. Then they called me today and told me I was approved for the deep cleaning and a mouth guard only. They lied, I called the insurance they didn’t ask for a deep cleaning they got approved for four crowns. So I guess they were planning on double bill. Don’t go to this place. It was an horrible experience filled with lies and Intimidation.

Negative experience: yo I can not! That was a useless waste of a trip, I scheduled a appointment with the dental office because I thought I had a cavity and thought I should get a filling. When I get there, and see the doctor no cleaning done or nothing to really examine the teeth/gums “it’s just a nerve”, just like that. You know for “doctors” to say that they should just do virtual visits because I travelled all the way from Astoria just to say “it’s just a nerve and refer me out”. Honestly, I gave this dental office so many chances because my insurance sucks to find a good dental office, but after this useless visit I can’t do this office anymore. NOO, thank you, then when I get to the front and he asks the front to refer me out no “have a seat” I’m standing there like a idiot in other people way, I had to ask “uhhh, do I go or stay”. This office is I can’t, I seriously can not, it’s like you have a painful extraction and they can’t refer you, because they can’t see the pain. Please, if you need a good dental office don’t DONT go here.

Negative experience: We had horrendous experience in this office. The office was gross, filled with homeless-looking people. The doctor roughly ripped a tooth from our child's mouth without any anesthesia or painkiller or any bedside manners. I will never forget her screams. The whole place is like a butchery.

Negative experience: Worst dental experience in my life. This Dentist is the most unprofessional, disrespectful low life I have ever seen. I have seen him 3 times and every time he never fails to disappoint me. He constantly berated his staff in front of patients on every occasion, charges ridiculous fees for things that are already covered by insurance and has his staff try so hard to upsell you on things not covered by insurance. The front desk is completely out sync with what the team is doing and you can sense the tension in the air. Half of the hygienist and other staff don't speak english well and the office is too small to accommodate more than a handful of people. I went in for a crown replacement, as my old one had fallen out. I was promised that there would be little to no pain by both the hygienist and the Dentist, several tears later and a weekend's worth of ibuprofen I was back again. This time I just wanted my crown fixed, but the staff insisted that I get my cleaning and Xrays, even after seeing me 30 minutes late due to clerical negligence. I pushed back and said "no, I just want my crown fixed". The staff accommodated me and sat me down and the then Mr. Belvini began his berating again, this time within a few feet of me. He said he wouldn't see anyone who didn't get a full mouth scan, even though he saw me one week earlier without a full scan. This greedy man just needed a reason to bill my insurance for something not necessary. Please don't waste your time with this greedy man who bullies his staff and has no integrity.

Negative experience: I fitted a dental crown on of my molars. Unfortunately, the crown was not properly placed, as there is a visible gap between the crown and the gum line. This gap allows food particles to accumulate, causing discomfort and inflammation in the surrounding gum area. Despite raising my concerns, the issue has not been resolved, and the condition continues to affect my oral health.

Fantastic experience: Ale is wonderful! Very thorough work, and lovely person to boot.

Negative experience: They are con-artist. They agreed to a price with your union insurance, you pay the co-pays, when you come back with the final procedure, management tries to demand more co-pay or the dentist won't finish the crowns. I said no, now I'm blacklisted.

Negative experience: I rarely leave poor reviews but I am extremely disappointed in not only this place but myself for not doing any research before my visit. I take extremely good care of my oral hygiene but they convinced me that I needed an “antibiotic injection” in three areas to fix my “gum recession” that were $100 each and were not covered by insurance. My family dentist confirmed this was absolutely not necessary and that I was essentially scammed out of $300. I will never step foot in this establishment again.

Fantastic experience: Had the second part of my deep cleaning performed by Miriam. She also did a fantastic and thorough job. She was also very meticulous and thorough. Again, I highly recommend her and Upper East Side Dentist. Aylar did a fantastic job for my deep cleaning and night guard impression. She has very friendly and professional manner. She was very detail-oriented and concerned with my comfort during the cleaning. Bravo, Aylar! I highly recommend her and Upper East Side Dentist.

Negative experience: I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience. This dental office was one of the most uncomfortable and unprofessional environments I’ve ever been in. The space is extremely cramped, poorly constructed, and feels like it was thrown together without any real care for patient comfort or safety. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired—the whole place felt dirty and disorganized. What really alarmed me was the pair of scissors shoved into an air vent directly overhead where patients lie down for cleanings. Apparently, it’s being used to hold up a cable. That’s not only unprofessional, it’s downright unsafe. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe, clean, and professional dental experience.
