Positive experience: There are no complaints about the quality of the treatment performed. I couldn't get through for a month and a half. A two-hour wait is guaranteed, even if you have been assigned a specific time. There are a lot of watering cans. It's hard to sit down. There is no pleasure in waiting. An hour in the waiting room. An hour in the office waiting for a doctor. And that doctor hasn't been released yet! Let's look for an alternative.

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible doctor. No respect for patients whatsoever. We’ve repeatedly asked for timely appointments, yet we were left waiting for an entire hour—with no doctor in sight. This level of disregard is beyond unacceptable. If you don’t consider yourself trash, avoid this place. But if you enjoy wasting your time and love the thrill of humiliation, this is the perfect torture chamber for you. It’s truly sad everything about this place screams neglect. Customer service? At rock bottom. Instead of publicly apologizing to someone who waited over an hour with a child not for the first time you chose to blame the patient? Who among you would willingly keep returning to a place where hours are wasted and complaints are met with personal attacks? This isn’t just disappointing it’s disgraceful. To live in a global capital like New York and deliver service this poor is a shame. To humiliate a person instead of showing an ounce of empathy is a tragedy of professionalism.

The restroom had no paper towels or soap, which is a basic hygiene concern—especially in a healthcare setting. Also, there’s no changing table for babies, making it very inconvenient for parents. These small things make a big difference in comfort and cleanliness. I hope the office considers improving these facilities.

Negative experience: I have never seen such a stupid dentist. My child's tooth hurt at night. I took it in the morning. Instead of helping, this stupid doctor only brushed his teeth and said that you will come back for a whole week. Shall we go with a toothache for a week? I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Negative experience: The doctor was rushed and did not even wait for the anesthesia to take effect. He was very rude and didn't seem to care about the patient. You should not work with kids if u don't have enough patience.

Positive experience: Seems like a welcoming place for kids. I feel strongly though it’s inappropriate to be giving misinformation around babies teeth decaying due to breastfeeding. All the studies I have found dissuade that this is true. Breastfeeding prevents cavities and is antibacterial. Please dont tell mothers when they should stop breastfeeding and misinformation. And read actual medical texts and get educated. This is offensive to mothers and your doctorate degree. Further reply to doctor below: I never insisted that one shouldn't brush their teeth after feeding, thats common knowledge. I simply said not to tell mothers when YOU THINK one should stop feeding their child and that breasteeding doesn’t decay your teeth including with getting them brushed, period.

Positive experience: Love the practice dentists and hygienists alike. Especially Dr Jessica!. Unfortunately you just have to come to terms with waiting a minimum of 30-50 min each time. Which is annoying and upsetting and not considerate. The amount of confirmation texts you receive to confirm your time slot and they you show up and have to wait for 45 min is very unappreciated. I wish there was a better system where if they are running late they let you know ... something to work on.

Negative experience: If I have 0 star to give to the receptionist I would. Do to some emergency, have been calling this clinic many times to reschedule my daughter’s appointment. Finally when I get in touch with the receptionist after calling many times. Each time I called, I was put on hold - the longest 7 minutes. And than I’m rudely asked WHY I’m rescheduling as if I’m not allowed to. Disgusting behavior, I’m glad I didn’t make it to the appointment!

Negative experience: This is my kids 2nd visit. I still don't know what their dentist's name is. I made an appointment for my 2 kids. Not only did I have to wait over an hour for our appointment time, they also did not make the appointment for my younger child... although when I made the appointment, I made sure it was for TWO kids, TWO appointments. When I went to the front desk to ask about my 2nd child's appointment, she gave me the round about.. "oh I have to check her insurance. Oh I'll squeeze you into a later appontment." And then she walks away from her desk without giving me a defnitely answer. The person (she never introduced herself) that cleaned my older child's teeth was nice enough to check and clean my younger child's teeth too. However this person pointed out that my older child has a tongue tie (which I knew and her peds deemed not an issue). This person said tongue tie can affect her speech. So I let her know she has no issues with speech. She questioned me.. "are you sure she doesn't have any problems?" This left a poor taste in my mouth. My older child also got a xray of her teeth, noone went over the scans with me. She then sees my younger child and cleans her teeth. However did not wipe down the area from cleaning my older child's cleaning. Given they are siblings, I feel that you still need to wipe down all the surface after each patient. The "cleaning" itself was not much longer than how my two kids brush their teeth on a daily basis at home. Overall, I would not recommend this place if you want your time respected and especially if you want quality care for your child.

I never had the same quality cleaning before I met her. No other hygienist was able to help me and clean my coffee and tea stains between my teeth. Negative experience: this office is a SCAM I suppose to go to the appointment with my son but unfortunately we forgot the date and so I call the office to re-schedule the appointment and the person who picked up the phone want to to charge me $80 in order to re- schedule the appointment ??? they don't have appointment reminding system may be because they want to be making money a side of the insurance, If it really cost $$ to re-schedule an appointment why don't you charge to the insurance company? of coarse not because what you doing is illegally and against the law

Fantastic experience: I had emergency with one of my girls and thankful when I found them open on a Sunday. They noted my concern let me walk in and saw my daughter within minutes of arriving. The staff was very attentive and the space was kid friendly. The whole experience made me want to switch offices for regular service.

Negative experience: The appointed time does not correspond to reality. You have to wait a long time, the schedule is shifted by an hour or more. After a long wait, pictures were taken and they were told to contact a dentist for adults, since the child is already 12. Why were the pictures taken? When you made an appointment, did you not see that she is already 12?

Positive experience: Everything is perfect: easy appointment schedule, reminders, kind and friendly front desk staff, professional dentists, clean, well designed and equipped public areas and dental rooms. The only downside that doesn’t change over the years is wait time. For 5-10 minutes x-ray and cleaning procedure we have to wait one and half hour. I hope this issue will be taken into consideration by the management.

Positive experience: I've been taking my child to this dentist for years, and the care we’ve received has always been top-notch. However, after today’s experience, I’m left with a bad taste in my mouth. For years, I’ve always parked in the rear of the building without any issues. It’s convenient and has never been a problem—until today. After parking, an older white man drove up from the street and started yelling at me in a threatening manner, insisting I move my car because he’s the valet and I’m not allowed to park there. This was shocking because, as I mentioned, I’ve never encountered him or this situation in all the years I've been coming here. Honestly, building management and the businesses in this building need to be more mindful of who they hire and should inform their clients of any changes that might affect their experience. This incident, especially since it happened in front of my children, has left me completely disgusted. Unfortunately, after this disrespectful and unprofessional treatment, I will be looking for a new dentist. This kind of treatment and disrespect should never be tolerated.

Negative experience: Went there for cleaning twice for my daughters, it’s seemed ok. About a month ago my 3 year old started saying her cheek hurt, and it was major swelling behind second molar. We’ve seen a Dr there, she was careless, not sure she looked through, said everything looked fine. 3 weeks later, the cheek was still hurting. Went to see different doctor and the tooth needed to be extracted! She even said it looked gray, did an Xray, it was infected and no chance for saving it. So I’m extremely upset with Slepak office, I feel that they are over scheduling and not hiring competent doctors. Will have to change my girls dantist, I don’t feel confident going there anymore. FYI the office, the patient name is Sophia Plotinskiy. Maybe you should train your staff better.

Fantastic experience: Even though this place is always busy, service is the best. Very friendly front desk staff and dentists are the best. In other places to have little kids been seen they request the laughing gas but with this Yury Slepak DDs not. I just had appointment with my baby 19 months old and he got his tooth checked and cleaning procedure was done. The time that I waited to had my sons checked, it's worth it 100%.

Negative experience: Don’t waste your time here came yesterday for my sister teeth removal and apparently a parent needs to be present when I came here bunch of times without a parent I’m already a adult and the fact that my sister still in pain because the doctor didn’t want to take care of her is really unbelievable apparently I need court papers and a permission slip I didn’t think I was going to an elementary school or something. P.s she was speaking Russian after I left so it proves they only look out for themselves and not others don’t waste your time here

Fantastic experience: Just had a wonderful experience with Dr. Slepak: My baby still hasn’t cut her teeth at 14 mos so I took her in for a second opinion. Dr. Slepak and his assistant were fast and professional getting the x-Ray done and performing the exam. Dr. Slepak is experienced, professional, kind and reassuring. He made me very comfortable knowing that her teeth are certainly coming. The office is clean, the staff is polite and courteous, and best of all, he was on time.

Negative experience: I am currently waiting for an appointment at a place where a woman, presumably a doctor or assistant, started screaming at the staff. Her behavior was unprofessional and caused a lot of commotion among the people waiting in line. She stated that she didn't want to be there until 9pm. I do not recommend this place due to her behavior. Additionally, I was wondering: how do people who dislike interacting with others manage to smile convincingly? I would give this place zero stars.
