Fantastic experience: Malay, Hailey, and Dr. Tate were amazing! They put xtra care in making sure I was comfortable and Alesha was very informative and friendly!! Recommend this dentist to everyone!!!

Fantastic experience: I will be brutally honest, I hate the dentist, I will put myself in a full blown panic attack about going to the dentist and end up not going every time. It sucked! Not a good time! So when I had severe tooth pain I had been looking and looking and calling and asking questions and trying to find time. Then I saw this place and I called and very friendly customer service, super friendly staff and I still put off going to the dentist cuz I was for sure that this was an act. The tooth pain finally got so bad that I couldn't eat and my jaw hurt and started causing a headache so finally my husband took me here. I was a WALK IN! a walk in! They took me right away, I got x rays and had options presented to me in a timely manner and once we figured out financing, I needed a root canal and they were able to sedate me! I didn't have to be awake, I am not a good patient for any dentist but they were so nice and friendly the whole time and they were patient and answered every question I had. I got my sedated root canal done the same day I walked in! Finally the pain was relieved and I got some antibiotics for it and the following week I got my permanent crown put in and I got to see it and ask questions and honestly this was the best experience I have ever had at any dentist ever and I'll tell u I have been to a lot and I plan to make this my dentist going forward.

Fantastic experience: Jazmine, Sophie, and Dr. Tate were fantastic. I usually dread doing extra dental work because I hate how much my jaw hurts during and afterwards, but they made sure to help set me up to be comfortable and the process itself was smooth, quick and painless. Also to note: Friendly staff all through the office. Great reminders texts, calls and emails.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been in twice recently for dental work with IV sedation, and both visits were great. Alesha, the manager, is so kind and supportive, and Dr. Wang is incredibly thorough. They followed up after my procedures, were patient with my dental anxiety, and I’m so grateful to be out of pain. I’ll definitely be back!

I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Tate, Leanna, and the entire team at Pacific NW Dental Center for their exceptional service during my recent dental emergency. From the initial phone call to the end of my visit, the whole process was incredibly smooth and efficient. It’s evident that Dr. Tate genuinely cares about his patients, as I’ve never experienced such a high level of care and compassion at a dental practice before — As someone who typically struggles with dental anxiety, I was pleasantly surprised at how at ease I felt during my appointment! The team’s gentle approach, good humor, and excellent treatment made a significant difference for me. :’) I only wish I had discovered Pacific NW Dental Center sooner. Fantastic experience: My hygienist was Tiffany P. She was very thorough and personable and offered me the red light therapy for my gums. This was my first time at this office and I'm actually excited to come back Thank you Kalene for the referral :)

Negative experience: Terrible filling experience especially during the anesthesia. I got my fillings here as they recommended during my first visit. My first visit was good, but when the dentist came in after a few conversations, someone was waiting outside the cubicle looking at the dentist, I had questions and info about my dental history since it was my first time here. She was waiting and staring at the dentist making it seem like “hurry up and I'm waiting here.” I didn't mind, I went to my second appointment for filling, and the first person put anesthesia on me, it hurt soooo bad when he was injecting it and I had to have 3 injections and was just in pain there, the second person did the filling and when we are almost done there's so much adjustment needs to be done because my teeth and jaw just felt weird, I couldn’t point out where was it exactly and was advised to come back after the anesthesia worn off. My face was soooo swollen from the injection which I never experienced before that I had to ask for a face mask because of how bad was it. The next day I texted them I needed adjustment my jaw just felt weird. They put me in asap, but when I got there the doctor tried to adjust it, at first it felt fine but I also felt rushed since he came in quickly just to adjust my teeth I said I think it's fine, and then Okay, left me still laying on the dentist chair and then he left, gladly there's a dental assistant. The next day still felt the same, I texted them about it and took them a while to respond, and that's when I decided to move to another dentist. When I moved to another dentist, they informed me that one of the teeth that they did had so much spacing that they had to redo it, but since insurance won't pay it anymore PNW had to redo it, I called them to inform them and someone on the phone said they don't know what they could do at the moment but they will get back with me. They never did. My pain from the injection lasted more than 1 week and the sensitivity I have on other fillings is still there after more than 1 month. Reviews are only for 1st time patients, of course, they will be sooo nice the first time. They are so rushed all the time to accommodate other patients, they have too many patients I don't think they mind to lose one.

Fantastic experience: Greatest experience with Dr. Tate and assistant Jazmine Z, very friendly and thorough explanation of the issue my Mother had. Appreciate them so much. My Mother travelled from out of state and was referred to the Pacific NW dental, and was very happy with the outcome. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Dr Tate and Rita were really great for my extraction. It was a comforting experience in an already scary situation. They were fast, comforting and assuring. 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Words can’t express how grateful I am for this dental center. I had 4 wisdom teeth that needed to be removed as soon as possible. 1 impacted, another one growing towards the nerves in my jaw, and the other two were just taking up too much space. I was having extreme toothache/heads for months trying to find a place that could get me in as soon as possible. I went in for a consultation expecting to wait another couple weeks for the extraction. THEY TOOK THEM OUT THE SAME DAY. I’m still recovering, and I’ve yet to come back for the follow up appointment but it was a great experience in all areas . They were efficient and knowledgeable, keeping me informed about what’s going on with my teeth and why I was having the pain that I was feeling. I’m hoping to continue going here for cleanings and other dental services. Also it’s so clean and aesthetically pleasing in the lobby. It felt “homey” and eased all my anxieties. I’ve had so many bad experiences at the dentist and this experience made me hopeful for future visits. :)

Negative experience: Wish I read reviews about this place before following through after someone recommended this practice to me. I went to this place three times within a week one for an initial cleaning and exam. Second appt for a filling replacement & third for a follow up, because of issues. That whole time I saw the dentist maybe a total of 5 minutes and that’s only because he drilled out my old filling. The actual DDS didn’t even place my filling and only drilled out the old. Let’s talk about the filling appointment. I was waiting ten minutes past my initial time, not horrible but still not on time. Then waited another ten minutes for the dentist to proceed to give me the local anesthetic I believe. All my life of getting fillings I have NEVER had a dentist inject the needle and medicine into me so fast and so rough. Over a week later and the injection site is still extremely sore and I still have pain opening my jaw and pain when touching the area of injection. I was never told my the real dentist was not the one doing the whole process of the filling. They only drilled out the old filling and then some other person came in to do the filing. Also they took extremely longer than I have ever had to do the actually filling and the assistant helping kept having the have the other person correct their hand positioning for the curing light. Back to the dentist after they drilled out my old filling they flushed it with I thought it was water so I wipe it away, but the rest of the filing my lip was burning where the liquid splashed to. I thought it was water except the burning began to become more worse and at the end when they finally finished I actually almost started to cry because the pain was becoming more severe. The person who did the filling told me they couldn’t figure out why it might be a reaction or from my mouth being stretch open. I think it was from whatever liquid that spilled on my lip and chin. It got concerning that they went to get the dentist and yet again it was another person who I didn’t know and not even the dentist that did the drilling. Said they think again it was just the stretching of the skin. I don’t believe it because I had skin discoloration and my lip turned white where the burning was. A week later and my lip scabbed and skin peeled off where it was initially white. Back to when the dentist dr. Lee injected the anesthetic they said they were going to wait about five minutes for the medicine to kick in that was 4:23 the dentist did not come back in until 4:53. I was alone in that room waiting after about five minutes. I kept getting up to look into the hall way to see if they had forgotten about me. There were so many other wrong things and my mouth still hurts a week later, but I’m terrified to go back and waste my time to not even see the doctor who honestly didn’t seem like he cared and was so rushed whenever he did come into the room.

Fantastic experience: I really appreciate this place. They treated me really great going in. Asked me every time if I was okay during the treatment. Really recommend them. Thanks to Dr. Tate and Esme M. For taking really good care of me during the process's. An thanks to Kalene really kind and help me with the process in the front desk.

Fantastic experience: Bree did my cleaning. She was great. She's patient and walks you through everything she's doing. Kasey did my treatment plan and she was also wonderful to work with. As someone who hates the dentist and has past trauma with it, they've been great.

Dr. Tate is not only knowledgeable and thorough but also has a calming presence that makes you feel at ease right away. Dental hygienist Tiff and assistant Liana were both friendly, professional, and attentive throughout my visit—they clearly care about patient comfort and made the whole process smooth. Fantastic experience: Gillian ( not sure if it is spelled correct) is always great when assisting over the phone & scheduling purposes. Her customer service is definitely great and I’m sure other patients would love her. Jocelyn helped me today with my appointment and she was such a great Hygienist, she was gentle and made sure nothing was hurting, she asked about what I felt and listened to my opinions. She was easy going, kind & knowledgeable. Always enjoy my appointments with Northwest Dental. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: I needed a crown and a filling today. It had been a while since my last one and being 78 years old I was nervous. Iris was at front desk. She was very nice and had some medical I needed to update. Then in the room I met Jess and Itzy before dentist came in. They explained what was going to happen. Blood pressure taken and a blanket provided. I was calm and ready. Dr Phil came in and gave me a painless shot. And then the procedure started. A great procedure and go back I. A few days for permanent crown. They were very professional and made me feel important.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Phil was very knowledgeable and kind. He was very thorough with explaining what I needed to have done. Maya and Adriana definitely made me feel more at ease about being at the office due to having anxiety issues with these sorts of things and Christy explained all of the pricing for me at the end and made it so easy to get things going. I was even able to start my process right away. I will most definitely be coming back and recommending this office to all of my friends and family.

Fantastic experience: This place was Amazing. Woke up at 1 a.m. face throbbimg in extreme pain. Went in on emergency basis. From reception with Kalene and being seen by Dr. Lee and the Amazingly friendly and awesome assistant Tara whom I spent hours with I was made to feel welcome, comfortable, and well taken care of. Xrays and CT scan taken and I needed a root canal right then and there and because my pain level they got me right in for the procedure. From check in to procedure was less than 30 minutes!! Thank you Tara and Dr. LEE. I drove 30 plus minutes based on their reviews and I am glad I did. This will be my new dentist idc about the commute because they GREAT! Only thing that would be great is if they offered same day crowns and 3d printed them in house. But it's okay I actually don't mind having to come back in couple weeks lol.

Fantastic experience: I always have a great experience at this dental office. I’ve been coming here for several years and all staff have been friendly and comforting during every appointment. My appointment today was no different. I had my cleaning with Tiffany with assistance from Megan and Tara. They both talked me through the entire process and were very kind. Tiffany gave me a couple recommendations for a water pick which was helpful! Doctor Tate was quick and helpful! It was also an easy check-in/check-out at the front desk thanks to Jillian. I enjoy coming to my dentist appointments thanks to all the friendly staff!

Fantastic experience: Today, I had my scheduled cleaning. I was greeted by Jillian. She was very helpful with my questions. Tiffany (Hygienist) and Bre (Assistant) were very pleasant and very efficient. Since my Dentist is no longer with PNW Dental Care, I had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Tate Masunaga today. He was very nice and personable. I look forward to continue my dental care with them.

Fantastic experience: This dental office is incredible! Myra at the front desk was so welcoming and professional, my assistants Jasmyn and Luisa made me feel so comfortable with a blanket, head phones, and lots of check ins to ask how I was doing, and Dr. Tate did my filling quickly and efficiently and you could not tell it at all from my natural tooth! I used to be anxious about the dentist, but have been coming here for over 6 years now and always feel safe, heard, and at ease here. Thank you to the whole team! ❤️

Fantastic experience: Courteous, friendly and thorough. Up front about all options for treatment and understanding towards the individual patients needs. Fantastic experience: Came in for cleaning today. Jillian and kalene were both really nice when I arrived. Bre and Chris were helpful in getting me set up before my cleaning. Tiffany did a great job doing my cleaning and improved experience with the laser, and Dr. Kim was very helpful and creating future plans for my teeth.

After that, I met Chris who I felt really understood how I felt and let me know it was going to be okay and that I didn’t need to feel embarrassed. He made an uncomfortable situation comfortable. Then came in Dr. Kim such a great person and doctor. I could really tell the cares about his patients and has a passion for what he does. He asked about my kids and what I did for a living. I just felt really comfortable. After the examination of my teeth, Iris took over. Iris was so kind she helped me weigh my options and just made me feel like family. I just want to say one more time Jordyn is Absolutely one of a kind. So much so I asked Jordyn and Iris for a hug at the end of my first appointment. This place is just one of a kind!! If you’re thinking about any kind Of dental work from cosmetic to non-cosmetic. This is the place you want be.

Negative experience: I made an appointment a couple of weeks ago. The appointment was confirmed and they asked me to send my insurance information. After that, I received two more reminders of the appointment. I showed up today and they told me they'd made a mistake and could not fulfill their commitment. They said that they tried to inform me but I have no records of this on my phone. Only the confirmations of the appointment

Fantastic experience: I was a walk in due to some dental pain I was having. They were able to see me that day to determine what was causing the pain and then scheduled an appointment for the next afternoon and get the work done. I had 3 different issues that needed attention. I was met at the counter with a friendly welcome. Staff and the dentist were amazing. I was impressed we got it all done in one visit. Dr. Kim, Jessica E and Makay were amazing and made me feel very comfortable. Great Place and Amazing staff I definitely recommend this place

Fantastic experience: This was our first time coming, everyone is friendly. Since you walk you in, Jordyn at front desk greeted us with a smile and helped us check in. Both Bre and Katelynn did a wonderful job and answered any questions that we had and explained everything well. Overall it was a great experience, the office is clean and everyone we met treated us well. We definitely recommend them and will be coming back for future treatments.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing. I told them I needed a root canal and crown due to my original dentist not having the time to be able to do it. Not only did I call on Tuesday to be seen the next day, but I was able to get the procedure done immediately instead of being scheduled out again. I would like to thank Kalene, Carolyne, Ashley and Dr. Lee for understanding my pain and needing treatment ASAP. I'm very happy with this team and will definitely see them again.

Fantastic experience: First new patient at Pacific NW Dental. Great team and very welcoming! Dr.Phil and Jazmine made me feel really comfortable during my first visit. Mind you I was very nervous to come in. Mood change once Jazmine confirm that I’m in good hands. Adnana helped me a lot when checking out. Making sure I have the right pay plan and future schedules. Very friendly atmosphere!

Fantastic experience: I have been coming here for years and the staff is always so welcoming and personable. Tara was very gentile during my prep and Tiffany took the time to explain each procedure and even offered to apply Vaseline on my lips prior to my cleaning. Thank you to Dr. Phil who explained the importance of flossing.

Fantastic experience: Bre and Liana were amazing. Liana was very understanding when I asked to grab my headphones from my car. Not making me feel like I problem. Bre was very easy to talk to. I felt comfortable chatting with her and asking questions. Very happy with my visit and look forward to seeing these two again.

Fantastic experience: Thank you so much to Pacific NW Dental Center! I had an emergency on a Friday evening at 6 pm, (worst time possible) all I felt was panic b/c my dentist was closed til Mon am. I found this dental office that took emergency appointments on Saturdays and even at that late hour there were several time slots to choose from. Their Spanaway Dental office is beautiful, clean and modern all new great equipment. Never had x rays so easy and fast. Going to the dentist sucks, but this office really made it okay. From the front desk chica que se llama Kalene (she saw how nervous I was and was so nice to me), la asistente Jess y my assigned Dr. Tate - He was extremely kind, explained everything, even called me later in the day to see if I was feeling okay. Fantastic experience: Second time visiting this office for a wisdom tooth extraction. Dr. Tate & Jessica B. were amazing. Love the bedside manner and extra care the entire team provides. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for dental work as I know the dentist can be scary for some if not most. Extremely grateful for these guys. Thank you to the entire team

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lee was very welcoming and made me feel very comfortable after a long break from dental visits. Rebecca took great care of me with all of my imaging and answering all my silly questions the best she could. Very friendly atmosphere! Ashley was great at getting my future appointments set up in a way that I would get everything I needed done in smaller portions so I wasn’t at the dentist all day! Really great team.

Fantastic experience: Pacific Northwest Dental is an excellent dental care provider. Very knowledgeable and professional staff since you open the main door until you’re done with your dental appointment. On my dental appointment, I was impressed with the service that I had with Jazmyn (Hygienist) Esmeralda (Assistant) and Jillian (Front Desk). Lovely staff, professional doctors and very coordinated experience since my first visit.

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing visit, Christy who works front desk help get me checked in an welcomed me once i walked in. Megan explained everything that we were gonna be doing an made sure i was comfortable, Dr. Wang and Tiff were amazing at explaining the health of my teeth and how my next appointments would go.

Fantastic experience: On our way to have both my parents have their teeth checked. Everything on our first visit went smoothly Dr. Lee and crew was so awesome that he was able to pull all my Dad's 5 teeth that have been bothering him for years. And all the nurses were amazingly gentle and kind soft spoken Rita and Jillian the angel that helped calm my nerves of concern about my parents and made me tear up for worrying about pain from pulling their teeth and the heavy price that came with it. To our surprise we were blessed that day and went home thanking our Heavenly Father for all who helped us that day and made it for us to realize to always count your blessings. And thank you to the beautiful Kalene at the front desk with her beautiful smile thank you all. You all rocked. My parents loved how kind the other Dr who helped pull my Dad's teeth was gentle and kind and fast. I wasn't able to catch his name I bow down to you 3xs he just did his job and walked onto see his next patient and his assistant.We tremendously appreciate your hard work and thank you 1000 times over. If there were more room on here I would give you 1000 ⭐'s. Thanks from my family to yours!

Fantastic experience: I just left DR. Kim and his assistants Zola and Ariana for a regular post op visit and appreciate the extra time they took to be sure my bite and smile were just right.

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing experience with Dr. Kim and Tara. The staff is always amazing. This time was a root canal and I honestly almost fell asleep. Great experience!! Dr. Kim was very tu kind and comforting explaining everything he was doing through the experience. Great staff and location.❤️

Fantastic experience: So initially I was bringing my child next door to spanaway children’s dentistry. Which by the way was THE BEST children’s dentist my almost 3 year old has been to. But when I noticed there was an adult dentist next door I just knew I had to make my next appointment there. Jess, and Dr.Phil are the absolute best!!! I had anxiety going into my appointment but they both made me feel so at ease. Dr. Phil was very upfront and I felt safe while he worked on my tooth. I can’t recommend both spanaway children’s dental and Pacific Northwest dental enough!!

Fantastic experience: Today I came in to see Dr Wang and it’s not my first time to see him but I always prefer him when it comes to my teeth. He’s always super friendly, nice, and makes the nerves I have when coming to the dentist disappear. His assistants, Jas and Jess were amazing as well. Super friendly and kind. With scheduling and talking payments, Iris is super nice and a pleasure to talk to! This by far has been the best dentist office I have been to and will continue coming to! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: My family and I have been going to Pacific NW Dental for years and have been receiving excellent service. I just had a wisdom tooth extraction recently and I was a bit nervous. Dr. Tate and Rita were both amazing, making sure I would be comfortable with the whole procedure. Great team of professionals including all the staff at the front desk.
