Negative experience: I went there once over two years ago. The staff was excellent. I couldn’t be happier with the service and would have loved loved loved to continue to go there. Unfortunately they didn’t take my insurance. The hardest pill to swallow is that they only told me they don’t take my insurance afterwards. I explained to them that I wouldn’t have gone if they didn’t take my insurance and felt this was unfair. Although frustrated I offered to go ahead and split the bill out of pocket, it was for $400.00 so I offered to pay $200.00. I was rejected and they continue to bill me for their mistake. I have called multiple times to try and negotiate but they insist on fighting me. Having some humility in their office would help.

Fantastic experience: Hellertown Dental is the best dentistry BY FAR in the Lehigh Valley. They are extremely thorough. They had a device that screened for mouth cancer and they recommended a great electric toothbrush for me. They educated me on better hygiene and they are so nice! I will never go anywhere else. Hellertown Dental is IT.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to Hellertown Dental. Two close friends recommended them after our insurance was dropped by two former dentists. I checked in ahead, so it was very quick and painless to say hello at the reception desk. The young woman there was super friendly. Then my hygienist, Michael came to greet me. He was nice and polite. He took a moment to discuss my dental history and take inventory of previous dental care. Then a few quick xrays. He then cleaned my teeth better than they have been cleaned in 10 years. He was very thorough. Dr. Kali came in to greet me and check my teeth and xrays. She was friendly, professional and complimentary. She also gave me useful information for taking care of my inflamed gums. It was a very good experience. I’ll be glad to call them my dentist!

Fantastic experience: I had been going to the same wonderful dental practice for 20 + years but needed to find a new one since my dental coverage changed. Of course I was not excited about the change. To my great surprise I was thrilled with my first visit! The office area was large and immaculately clean, I didn't wait more than 90 seconds to be seen, the hygienist was thorough and efficient and the dentist was cheerful and professional. I still miss my old dental practice, but now that I've experienced dental care with this excellent new place...I don't miss it as much!

I’ve had my fair share of dental trauma and Dr. Kali is supportive and takes time to explain options. She understands the very personal and aesthetic aspect of dental care and I’m very happy to have found her and her team.

Fantastic experience: Friendly front desk, great annual experience. We just changed practices (old dentist dropped our insurance) and Hellertown Dental is a great fit for us now. I would suggest more hygienists as we could only schedule our next cleaning in 8 vs 6 months, but I understand there is a shortage in that field, their only drawback. .

Fantastic experience: I was able to secure an appointment immediately. When I arrived, the facility was clean and organized. I arrived at 9:00 am for my 9:10 am appointment and was seen at 9:08 am. The staff is always friendly.

Fantastic experience: My tooth cracked in half. They fit me in within 24 hours. They fixed my tooth temporarily and are waiting to see if the nerve was damaged. They did not rush to pull it or do a root canal. Dr. Sandy is great!

Fantastic experience: I've had a great experience here so far. Dr. Sandy is so polite, understanding and knowledgeable and the young woman that does my cleanings is amazing, too. She's gentle and friendly. The front desk receptionist had a great personality and sense of humor and is super helpful. I had bad experiences elsewhere and hated going to the dentist but I feel comfortable here.

The hygienists I have had are seriously some of the kindest people, I have never been to a medical/dental office with such kind employees. The office is clean and efficient and Dr. Kali is great. If you have any fear/anxiety surrounding dentists this is definitely the place to go. They walk you through everything and give breaks if you need it. Fantastic experience: Everyone is friendly and professional. I loved how both my doctor and hygienist explained everything they do as they work on my teeth. I had trouble making it to my original appointment due to an emergency but they were so understanding and rescheduled me to my first availability immediately. I know the wait list for cleaning only requests are long, but you can call in the morning to pick up an appointment that was cancelled (my spouse did just that!). They are not like the money hungry establishments out there. I went in thinking I need a crown, only to be told I don’t need that or all the other treatments “required” by another “dentist”. I will definitely be a regular here.

Fantastic experience: Dyana who was my dental hygienist was extremely patient with and treated me with the respect I deserve. You can tell that she truly cares for her patients and are not here at the clinic just for the monetary gain. The dentist, Dr. Sandy was very professional and explained everything very thoroughly with care and good manners. She catered to my need and you can tell she wants me to have good teeth and am there for me as always. I recommend both of these people for everybody who wants to get their teeth cleaned or fixed. Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff. Super clean, which is so important. I've been a patient for years. My car was hit while in the parking lot today while I was at my appt. Thanks to the cameras, the patient who hit my car, and didn't leave a note or come into the office to tell anyone, was identified and reported to the police.

I was grateful for the prompt and friendly service and the ability to avoid a more costly option such as a crown. Positive experience: Doctor and staff are very skilled and caring! Billing and accounting definitely needs some help! I payed for an x-ray and filling, only to realize later I had credit, That should have been used. I have been trying to reconcile my bill for over a year!!

Fantastic experience: I took my 89 year old mother there today, she hasn’t been at a dentist for at least 15 years. She is scared of a dentist. unfortunately, she had an abscess where her tooth had to come out. The doctor and her assistant were so good to her, they were able to remove two teeth which is unbelievable she has never had a tooth removed unless she was put to sleep. she has been talking about her experience ever since she got home and willing to go back to the dentist now. Negative experience: I recently had a nightmare of an experience. I recommend my girlfriend to go there as she Had a lot of work to do on her front teeth. She requested Doctor Ann to do this expensive, detailed procedure involving Her top 6 teeth. They scheduled her with a newer dentist, NOT doctor Ann. My girlfriend showed up to her 4 hour appointment, canceling all her own appointments (she is a therapist and needed to reschedule appointments to make room for this 4 hour appointment. The newer dentist came into the room, felt overwhelmed in doing such a big job, and refused to start the four hour procedure. Instead the newer dentist worked on a cavity, leaving my girlfriend for long stretches of time, only to get work done that could have taken an hour wasting her time on a procedure she didnt want. We requested to the office manager to please schedule us with doctor Ann as the newer dentist felt uncomfortable preforming this detailed procedure. The office manager refused to admit they scheduled her with the wrong dentist, the one she didn’t request, and literally made my girlfriend cry during a phone conversation saying she was uncomfortable with the younger dentist and to PLEASE schedule with doctor Ann like planned. Nope, she refused our request to switch dentist, even though it was her fault we were scheduled with the wrong dentist to begin with. Understandably, we switched dentist, she is now scheduled for the procedure on one more additional tooth for thousands less. I will never go there again, especially after this office manager has issues dealing with her mistakes and takes no accountability for her actions along with not doing what’s best for the patients.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ann is the best! She really cares about her patients. I’m a patient with high anxiety and she explains what’s being worked on and why. She did full mouth reconstruction on me with zirconia crowns on my top row and restoring fillings on my bottom.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I went to Hellertown Dental for years and then left because of distance. After a trip to a different dentist, we went right back- worth the drive. Everyone is so friendly and professional! The doctors work so quickly and I was able to get a crown the same day. Can’t say enough good things about Hellertown Dental Group!

Negative experience: I originally went there to have my front teeth fixed and some other work. They gave me crowns across the front that constantly break and or fall out, they had to redo one completely it’s been 2 years with thousands of dollars wasted, not to mention the embarrassment of having a missing front tooth cause they can’t get me in for a month from their poor work

Fantastic experience: I called in the morning to schedule an appt. for a chipped tooth. They took me the same day and fixed the chipped tooth, along with some work on another front tooth. Dr. Kali started the procedures, then Diana did most of the work - she was just wonderful - kind and patient - Diana did a SUPER job! I also have my regular cleanings with Miramar - who also is excellent! - I highly recommend this practice for your dental needs.

Fantastic experience: My 2nd visit, needed a tooth pulled, DR. Sandy is lovely, and the hygienist, wish I knew her name, who gave me novacaine to numb my mouth did a great job, did not hurt! They gave me a stress ball to squeeze which I completely ruined, while my tooth was being pulled, but Dr. Sandy explained everything along the way as to how it was going to feel. Dr. Sandy showed me my tooth after being pulled, and explained what was going on, a little knowledge is great. Really glad I found this place.
