Fantastic experience: Dr. Pearce and his staff certainly eased a lot of my anxiety about going to the dentist. The receptionists are always nice and welcoming at my visits. It's a very clean place. And they even play good music! Today, I had a procedure done by Dr. Bartlett. I was extremely nervous. But, Dr. Bartlett and her assistant, April, made me feel soo much better. They had me laughing, and I felt much more relaxed. The procedure was so quick and painless. I can't thank them enough! Definitely recommend coming here for all of your dental needs! You'll be in great hands.

I did attempt to call the office at the number you provided, but unfortunately, I wasn’t able to reach anyone and was directed to a voicemail box. I believe this experience further illustrates the issues I mentioned and highlights the challenges patients are facing when trying to get in touch with the front office. Best, Jordan Original Post: I’ve been a patient at this office for years and unfortunately, my experience has been a mixed bag. The dental team themselves—hygienists and dentists—have always been kind, professional, and great at what they do. I have no complaints about the care I received from them. However, the front desk staff have consistently been the opposite. Scheduling has been frustrating and unnecessarily difficult, often requiring multiple follow-ups just to get an appointment confirmed. I’ve also dealt with repeated billing issues that took too long to resolve, with little communication or transparency from the staff. What’s been most disappointing is the overall rudeness and lack of professionalism from the front desk team. After my most recent interaction—where I raised some concerns via email—they responded with “we wish you the very best moving forward” and made no attempt to address anything I shared. Honestly, it felt like they have outgrown their patients and simply do not need to care anymore. Bottom line: the dental professionals are excellent, but the administrative staff significantly detracts from the overall experience. I hope improvements are made, because patients deserve better—and I imagine the doctors would be quite concerned if they were aware of how these issues reflect on the practice.

Negative experience: Had the worst experience that led me to write a review which is super rare. Communication of the estimates was beyond unprofessional with unexpected add-ons just before the procedure.

Negative experience: Patient for a couple years. Can confirm back staff amazing- front staff? Meh- I’m not sure what I did to make them so angry by saying hello.

Negative experience: Havent heard back from them after leaving multiple voicemails and emails. I need them to send my xrays to my endodontist to have my treatment I have already paid for in full, done. No response and the tooth they have done work on looks atrocious in its current state. Will change this review once they make things right.

Fantastic experience: I had two extractions with Dr. Bartlett and April. Faster extractions I've ever had before. I hope to never need anymore, but if I do, I know who to call!

Positive experience: I struggle between 3 and 4 star review because the dental care I've received has always been exceptional. However, after getting Invisalign last year, it's been a constant battle to get my money reimbursed after insurance pays back to the office. I've had to personally reach out and track down $2000 across 4 payments that Delta Dental sent to Pearce Dental, but Pearce Dental never proactively sent to me. I don't have any faith that I would have seen any of that money if I hadn't actively reached out multiple times regarding each individual check. I've been going to this office for 12 years and have recommended countless other downtown coworkers for care, but would now always advise people to keep a close eye on your payments and insurance claims so you don't miss out on getting YOUR money back.

Fantastic experience: I decided to get veneers because my teeth had become translucent, and I could not be happier with the results and the experience at Pearce Dental Group. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcomed and comfortable. The receptionist greeted me with a warm smile, and the office itself was clean and modern. Dr. Pearce is incredibly professional and took the time to explain each step of the process, addressing all my questions. As someone who tends to be anxious, I never once felt uneasy about making such a big decision. I am thrilled with how my smile looks now. Overall, my experience exceeded my expectations. I am so happy to have found a dental practice I can trust, and I would highly recommend Pearce Dental Group to anyone seeking top-notch care in a friendly, caring environment!

Positive experience: Laurisa is hands down the best dental hygienist I’ve ever had! She is incredibly gentle yet thorough, making the cleaning process both comfortable and effective. Plus, she managed to keep things tidy—no unnecessary splashing! However, the appointment reminders could use some improvement. Despite booking my cleaning months in advance, I received multiple emails and texts stating I was overdue, which was confusing. When I called to clarify, the response I received was less than friendly. While the care itself is outstanding, the scheduling communication could be more streamlined and courteous.

Negative experience: Horrible experience. Front desk was rude af, and didn't answer their phones until the appointment had already passed. Glad everyone else has had a great experience with them I guess.

Negative experience: First time ever having a bad experience here, but it was the last time I will attempt to come. My husband who had the appointment tried to call several several times with no answer, and when I called they answered but were extremely rude, because there was no parking. My husband didn't know what to do, so the lady said we could just pay for Valet parking and hung up. Won't be here again, but I'm sure that doesn't matter anyway.

Fantastic experience: They were all so professional and kind when I left my mouth felt so much better the are very thorough and considerate I’ll definitely be back.

Negative experience: People are nice, however, they won't honor original estimate even though they look at your insurance to see what out of pocket costs you will incur. This means you're going to have a surprise bill afterwards. They don't answer the phone or return calls for 3 weeks. My daughter got the same procedure done twice and for the second one, 2 months later, they doubled the out of pocket price without telling her. She paid out of pocket over $500 and asked for the last $200 to be waived being a college student. They refused. She won't be going back there. My advice is to go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: It was my daughter’s first dental appointment and Hailey did so well making sure she wasn’t nervous and keeping her entertained! And when the doctor (Doctor Tara I believe) came in, she gave me lots of info on how to continue caring for my daughter’s teeth.

Fantastic experience: I love this dentist. It is convenient and they are always friendly, very thorough and professional. Although I appreciate the reminders of my upcoming appointments, I have a few issues of when they come in. Being woken at 8 am 2 weeks before my appointment and getting reminders at 11:15 on a Sunday morning while in Church aren’t as appreciated. I know it’s probably an automated system, but I’d like the ability to adjust the timing.

Fantastic experience: We have been going to Pearce Dental for 10yrs. They really are the best in Cincinnati. I accidentally showed up 1 week early for my son's appointment and rather than turn us away, they took a all hands on approach and got us both in close to our original time. I was so impressed with the entire staff. They were very professional and polite when I realized my mistake. I would give them 10stars based on my families experience over the years from routine cleanings to my daughter having teeth pulled prior to braces. They turned what would be a scary scenario for a teen into smiles after.

Fantastic experience: Walking in and was greeted with a warm smile, I was nervous at first but right away the friendliness and comfort helped me out. I need major work and was guided on step by step on how to get there. Got to meet 6 of the staff members and all felt like friends at the end of the visit.

They’re not going to up-sale you product or procedures just for the sake of gain. Fantastic experience: Exceptional service! I submitted pics of my smile through their website and Dr Hampton sent me back a 6 min video telling me about different options I have to cosmetically improve my smile. I went to the office to meet with him and discuss further. It was an open, honest, 30 minute conversation. He had great ideas. Zero sales pitch! I’ve found my new general dentist as well as the cosmetic things I want to pursue.

Fantastic experience: I have celiac disease, so I had to make sure that the products used in my dental cleaning were gluten free. My hygienist went and double checked that the packaging said gluten free for the polish before cleaning my teeth. I’m always surprised how quick and thorough my cleanings are and would definitely recommend Pearce Dental Group

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing dentist office with incredible staff! I have severe dental anxiety and have put off the dentist for far too long. All of the staff was not only extremely kind but also so patient and understanding. First visit of many for me, but I’m so glad I was able to find a place who offers treatments for those with dental anxiety. They took their time with explaining each step of my dental journey and made sure I felt comfortable and understood everything. Definitely recommend this office for anyone in need of a dentist!

Fantastic experience: Been having dental service done at this office for more years than I care to mention. Always new faces & a warm & friendly staff to meet over the years. Some things change: state of the art equipment & procedures, etc. But some things NEVER change: a caring, efficient, professional, & “super” friendly staff geared toward giving excellent customer service. This was one of the first times I was actually a bit nervous for my upcoming appointment, due to knowing my regular hygienist was no longer affiliated with this office. (She was always attentive to the extreme sensitivity I had in a quadrant of my mouth & took great care of being gentle.). I had no idea what to expect this time with a NEW hygienist. I was pleasantly surprised—AND RELIEVED!!! A big shout out to Tyler who was absolutely great! He was as gentle & attentive as my previous hygienist.Truly, this young man has absolutely no idea what a blessing he was!

Fantastic experience: I thought I had a popcorn husk stuck in my gum and I couldn’t get it out. Called to see if I could be seen to have the issue resolved. They asked me to come in asap (Friday midday). Turns out I cracked my filling and needed a crown. 2 hours after the xray was read, I had a brand new crown. Nice work!

Negative experience: I called to make an appointment and the receptionist scheduled me for a time that we did not agree upon. We agreed upon 8:15. Automated message, confirmed an appointment, was sent and it was 2:00PM, a time we never discussed. To make matters worse, I get a call at 8AM telling me I’m late and late fees occur. I tell them the automated message was for 2 o’clock and then they say yeah you are right I have no idea what happened Worse experience with scheduling an appointment I have ever seen. Also directions for parking on your website takes like 1 hour max to add and will help so much.

The doctor thoroughly explains the findings of their exams, and provides me with options that put me in the driver seat of my dental care. Positive experience: Really nice people and the service was great. I was a new patient and the person who check my mouth and was doing my cleaning was super nice. The only thing I had a problem with was having to pay for services to even make my next appointment. It was a co pay, I've always payed the day of the appointment but they have you pay right there and then, if ill know that I would have brought more money then what i had on me. I did not schedule a next appointment, would have to do later. I would definitely be returning. Other then that everyone was very professional and super nice. To lady who worked on me, you was fantastic, hope to see you agin.

Fantastic experience: Only went in for a diagnostic test was done on my teeth and it was smooth and easy transaction. I recommend getting there at least 30 mins to an hour early to get a good parking spot. Have not got to treatment yet but the staff was very nice and professionally courteous, office is clean, comfortable, provide complementary cold waters which is nice after a long walk from my car, and if i was on time, i would’ve left earlier because the appointment in a whole was quick and easy. Will be looking forward to go back for my next appointment.

They do not push unnecessary procedures or products vs. present you with options & information to let you objectively make decisions for yourself.

Fantastic experience: Visiting from out of state and a filling fell out. I needed a special non invasive solution asap. Tried about a dozen other dental offices, none of whom offered the treatment I needed, before I called Pearce and they said they could do it the next day. Great service from the phone to the actual procedure, which took about 5 min.

Dr. Elgumati and his assistant Tina made me feel so comfortable and at ease. When I woke up the next day I wouldn't have even known I had a tooth pulled. I felt great and my missing tooth feels even better. I recommend them to anyone especially if your a little scared to go. Fantastic experience: Best dental experiences I've ever had. The location isn't the best though. I get lost getting to their office although I've been there many times. The receptionist is always very helpful helping me navigate through the building to get to their office. The staff is very friendly, informative, professional and efficient. Its always a quick and pleasant experience. Then I get lost trying to find the elevator back to the parking garage.

Fantastic experience: As someone who recently moved to the US, this was the first and only dental clinic I have been to. I must say I have had a great experience thus far. The staff is friendly. The hygienist and doctor were very thorough with the processes and I appreciate the fact that they explained everything very patiently.

Negative experience: Really BAD first impression. Office staff is horrible, they have no compassion and arent customer friendly. I could say so much more. Blair basically told me due to someone canceling my appointment that there was nothing that they could do to accommodate me rescheduling since I dont get off of work until 3:30 and they stop taking new pts at 3:30. I asked if they could squeeze me in at 3:45 because I took time off of work to come to my appointment and she said no! Very unprofessional and not accommodating. My children also have appointments and I am canceling them. I want a dentist office that cares.

Fantastic experience: Best Dentist Practice in Cincinnati HANDS DOWN! Beautiful, organized office with very cool bengals memorabilia, plus the staff was extremely friendly. Dr. Pearce is very personable and took the time to educate me on my different options and made me feel at ease for the next steps. I can’t imagine going anywhere else!

Negative experience: I went in for an emergency appointment with severe tooth and jaw pain. I was told that I would need a root canal. I come in the next week for my root canal with Dr. Elgumati (who isn’t even on their website). He explains that since it’s a molar tooth, that it may take a bit longer, something I was fine with. As we were approaching the 3.5 hour mark, he did something to my tooth that hurt and when I jerked back, he jerked away (you would think that as we were approaching this time point, he would re-up the anesthetic). After leaving the procedure multiple times to perform hygiene checks on other patients, we were finally approaching hour 4 and he told me he didn’t have the time to finish it. He left me with a hollowed out dead tooth that caused me excruciating pain when biting or talking. Teeth with no nerves shouldn’t be that painful right? Well when I came in for the crown, I expressed that I was still in a lot of pain. He checked my chart and was surprised he didn’t initially prescribe antibiotics. He took a look at the X-ray images that were acquired at the end of the previous appointment and was surprised to see that when he jerked away from my tooth, he pulled out some of the filling, leaving room for the bacteria to fester and somehow didn’t catch it when he supposedly looked at the images the first time. So I sat there for another 3-4 hours as he performed another partial root canal to fix it and finally give me my crown. It turns out the crown is too big (something I told them while I was sitting in the chair and was told it’s just swelling). Now I’m trying to book a 4th appointment, ultimately missing more classes and spending more that $100 on parking total, so that I can get it shaved down so that my jaw no longer hurts and my retainer can fit correctly. The place is clean and both techs that I had were happy to help and answer any questions I had. I would recommend this place except perhaps for Dr. Elgumati.

Fantastic experience: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. If you have been searching or need a change to a high-level professional dental team, no need to look elsewhere. No matter your need, from cleaning to complicated implants this is the only place I will trust with my health and future. A personal experience with compassion for their clients. Do yourself and family the favor and you won't look back.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Barry, Grant, his assistant, Mrs. Karen, dental hygienist, and Cody, front desk are always welcoming, always smiling, attentive and personable. Not only do I go to Pearce Dental, but I've also recommended it to my adult children, who now go there as well.

Fantastic experience: Once again Pearce Dental Group performs on-time, with a friendly attitude and outstanding service. I was brought into the exam area promptly at my appointment time. The dental hygienist was friendly, courteous and enthusiastic to answer my questions. After my teeth were clean, Dr. Pearce arrived and finished my dental exam. He showed genuine interest in my dental health and answered a few more questions. I usually hate going to the dentist, but they sure make it better!

Fantastic experience: Typically when I go in to any doctor's appointment, I am seen 30 minutes after my actual appointment starts. However, I was surprised when they took me right a couple of minutes after I checked in. This was my first time going and definitely would recommend! It was a little tough to find, but I think that could be a quick fix through adding more info or pictures on emails they send. However, this was a 10/10 experience!

Fantastic experience: Great Office! Very thorough new patient exam. My hygienist was amazing. The staff was very welcoming from the moment I walked in the door. I Highly recommend Pearce Dental Group.

Negative experience: I really didn't want to leave a public review because this is more about the office staff and not about Dr. Pearce. Dr. Pearce is absolutely wonderful! I could not ask for a better dentist. I have had nothing but great experiences with him and his hygienist. My complaint is with the front desk staff, the phone receptionist and the billing clerk. I have been a patient for no less than 20 years, so this was very disappointing. I had an emergency situation, so I called to see if there were possibly any cancellations and the woman who answered the phone was not pleasant by any stretch of the imagination. I think her name was Blaire, but I can't say for sure. Anyway, she was rude, short and not very compassionate. When someone is dealing with oral pain, the last thing they want to have to do is deal with someone who for one was not professional and just out right rude. She kept cutting me off when I was trying to speak. She basically came off as if she was annoyed, I even called. Because my issue was somewhat of an emergency, I was not able to see Dr. Pearce, but I was able to get in with one of his associates. This dentist and his hygienist were excellent as well. No complaints. Sorry I can't remember his name. Younger gentleman, but he made sure my comfort was a priority, as well as his hygienist. However, upon my arrival for my appointment, the from desk receptionist was not welcoming and basically just ignored me. Black hair with glasses. Maybe the same lady who took my phone call, but I don't know. She did not great me and basically just turned her back when I walked in. There was however a gentleman there who was professional and took care of me. Thank you to him. But the 2 other ladies at the front desk could have cared less about me being there. My service when well and I was pleased with the outcome. On the way out I had to stop and pay my bill with Stacy. Again, she was a bit rude, short and seemed to be annoyed. I have actually had this problem with her before, but I let it slide. I am only complaining because Dr. Pearce is awesome, and he deserves to have a staff that is reflective of that. Unfortunately, some of the staff there needs a course on customer service / Patient services. I have another appointment in April and I hope I don't have to deal with these ladies again. If it happens again, I will address it right there in the office.

Fantastic experience: I hadn’t been to the dentist routinely in a while and today I met Paige and Dr. Tara and they were awesome and very comforting. Dr. Tara answered all my questions and concerns and now have a game plan to get everything on track. Thank you so much ladies.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr. Pearce for a year now. I am so pleased with my implants and all the good care he has provided. He is kind and takes time to explain the options to meet your needs. He is innovative with unusual issues and offers a wellness plan for patients without insurance. There is no pressure or up selling. His staff is so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable and the atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant. I was initially concerned about the downtown location but parking in the Fountain Square garage is so convenient and you can get to his office without going outside. I highly recommend him to everyone and two family members have become patients. Don’t hesitate, he will help with your dental needs and your only regret would be not coming sooner.

Fantastic experience: Easy and convenient. My hygienist was super good and I didn't have any pain. Because we don't have dental insurance we signed up for their wellness plan which is $350 for the year and includes 2 cleanings, x-rays and discounts on other services.

Fantastic experience: I show up on time, they grab me within 5 minutes of me arriving, I get my teeth cleaned. In and out in around 30 minutes. Chairs are suuuuper comfy, staff is friendly, I don't have to walk anywhere for xrays, it's great.

Fantastic experience: Hygienist was extremely nice and made me feel at ease and did a great eat job cleaning my teeth. The dentist was super nice and explained everything she will be doing at my next visit. I have to admit going to the dentist isn’t my favorite thing to do but everybody makes you feel comfortable once you get there.

Fantastic experience: I never have to wait very long for my hygienist, who is wonderful (Stephanie) and who I request to see every time I have my teeth cleaned—three times per year. I am always happy with my cleanings and, as someone who used to shed actual tears at her dentist appointments, that is very telling about my experience at the Pearce Dental Group. Fantastic experience: I have been in Healthcare for 30 years and have never had the level of amazing care that i have had with the Pearce Dental Group. I have been going to this practice for a very long time. I have nothing but great things to say about everyone that works there. They make you feel like family.
