Fantastic experience: My appointment started on time. Everyone was friendly and my hygienist, Alejandra, took great care with my cleaning.

Fantastic experience: I just had my first appointment at True Dental and it honestly exceeded my expectations. Everyone I interacted with was kind, attentive, and down-to-earth. As a new patient, I appreciated how relaxed the whole process felt—no pressure, no confusion, just clear communication and genuinely good care. It didn’t feel rushed or impersonal, which is something I’ve dealt with at other offices. I left feeling reassured that I found a dental team I can trust long-term. Looking forward to coming back!

Fantastic experience: People are very friendly, dental hygienist were very detail, and gave me tons of suggestions and genuinely wants to help. The office is very new, clean and very comfortable.

Negative experience: Dr. Shin’s associates who builds dentures has poor workmanship and extremely poor products. The dentures in my Mom’s mouth is shedding and falling apart. When asked if it can be rebuild, I was told I have to pay for it. I have paid out of pocket, thousands of dollars for dentures that are of poor quality. I expect some compensation but have not received any. I am disappointed in the service and products.

Positive experience: I’m usually not a fan of going to the dentist, but the hygienist and doctor were both incredibly kind and made the experience much more comfortable. However, my experience with the front desk staff over the phone was disappointing. They came across as very rude, which made communication frustrating and made me feel unheard. The clinical care was great, but the front office could really improve their customer service as they are the face of the company and the customers first impression.

My daughter and I were greeted when we arrived and because we completed our info online, prior to the appointment, checking in was a breeze! Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about this dentistry. I HATE HATE HATE dentists, but love Dr. Jai Shin and his staff. They are all so kind, thoughtful, and literally the best people all around. I always get nervous going but they always calm my nerves and explain everything. The only terrible thing is they will stop accepting my personal insurance, which is my insurance’s fault for being cheap not theirs. I am so sad not be able to see them anymore, but only wish them the absolute BEST.

Fantastic experience: I had to change dentists because my former dentist stopped accepting my insurance. From the initial phone call the staff was very welcoming and friendly. The scheduling process was easy and convenient. My hygienist was thorough yet gentle and did a great job explaining everything she found and did. Dr Julie was also excellent with both her exam and education. I’m very happy I found True Dental!

Negative experience: I am responding to patient AH, you are right, they will overcharge you. Not only that, I have two insurances, and they would not honor it the second one. Whereas my new dentist they accept both. They are not knowledgeable and was lazy to file paperwork. On top of that, I believe that they burnt two of my tooths. After I complained about one of the Korean hygienist , she was very rough with my teeth and was uncomfortable and painful. I ended up getting a root canal. Do not trust this dentist! Stay away! Horrible! On top of that, the husband doctor, every time I came in , makes me feel uneasy by the way he acts and looks at me. I wish I could give them zero star!

Fantastic experience: Incredible hygienist and wonderful dentist. My three kids and I were seen in back to back appointments, the hygienist was efficient and attentive. We were able to be done a lot earlier than expected. The office was clean and felt very organized even when crowded. I appreciated the extra effort to make the appointments fun for the young children and the way I felt comfortable doing my appointment with the kids there.

Negative experience: Forced to wear a mask, check temperature. Then they put a giant air purifier in my face as if I'm infected or something. Absolutely no sense of being personal. The owner then called out my review and said they are working to get rid of the mask policy. This is obviously a lie. They did an okay job on my mouth but I will never return to this place and I don't recommend anyone else go to a place where they want to treat you like an animal. Is not worth the stress.

Fantastic experience: Best dental experience in a long time! They were extremely thorough taking the most x-rays I’ve ever had as well as taking photos of the inside of my mouth. At the end, they were able to show me the before and after and then make Some recommendations, where that combination made their guidance meaningful. The dentist was extremely kind and asked me about my family and holidays and thanked me for joining their practice. I am very glad that I switched.

Fantastic experience: Our son had his first dental appointment here... it went better than we expected. They were very warm and nice to our 2yr old. They really took the time to make sure he was comfortable, they prepped the tv with a kid's show to distract him and he received some treats after his appointment. Overall loved it!

Positive experience: At first I really liked it here then changed my dentist due to front desk staff being very rude to me over the phone for being in pain after a procedure and needing to get my care from another dentist. The rest of my family still go here for now and really love getting cleanings- the hygienist always makes my little one feel very safe and comfortable! The SPAMMING of texts and emails to rate and review is one of the reasons I am editing my review! it’s been every other day so far that I’m getting a text to rate you. And this happens consistently with every visit.

Fantastic experience: I have not been to the dentist in a very long time and coming to True Dental was a great experience overall. Nice location, very clean, everyone was extremely welcoming and nice. The dental hygienist who took care of my cleaning was excellent. Made me feel at ease and did an exceptional job. It did take quite a while to get in for an initial appointment and I can certainly see why now. I have quite a bit of dental work to do, but I look forward to coming back to True Dental to handle my care.

Fantastic experience: Had a great first visit at True Dental. Everything went smoothly from making the appointment, to check-in, my actual exam, and scheduling follow up. The entire staff was friendly and professional. The facility and equipment were modern and clean. The dental assistants and main dentist seemed quite knowledgable and thorough, and even gave me some great restaurant reccomendations. I've definitely found my regular dentist in the area, and look forward to my next visit.

Negative experience: Be weary! The majority of the great reviews are prompted by the owner. After your first visit they HOUND you with requests to leave a good review. I have received 4 texts messages within 48 hours. As you read, you’ll realize the majority of these reviews are from first time visitors. I am a former dentist hygienist, they told me that my son’s tooth had a be extracted, and that local numbing won’t be enough, and to top it off insurance won’t cover any of it, so I needed to pay cash. That’s was another red flag. They also said he had 4 cavities, I asked to see the X-ray, when they tried to point out the root as the cavity I knew I couldn’t trust the practice, they then pointed to another tooth with a filling and tried to tell me that the filling was a cavity. When I started to use dental terminology and let them know I knew what I was talking about. Man was there some major backpedaling. I will never suggest this office. Pros: clean office timely entertainment is available Cons: They are deceptive - saying insurance won’t cover when they will - saying cavities are present when they aren’t They wanted me to stay in the car (not even the waiting room) while they treated my son who is only 9 years old. It’s been 4 YEARS! But masks are still required to enter, come on move on Read their policy paperwork very carefully - there is a section that if you cancel within 24hrs they can bill you a cancellation fee of $50 for every 15 minutes your appointment was scheduled for. (That’s not even close to standard, but if you are scanning quick it looks like it’s just a standard cancellation fee) they told a standard cleaning is scheduled for 1 hr though they usually don’t take that long. That would be a $200 fee

Positive experience: We switched to True Dental a few years ago after our old dentist of a decade continually went downhill. True Dental offers many modern advances over your typical dentist visit. TVs to watch during cleanings, advanced tools for cleaner teeth, and cameras that can clearly show problem areas. All of this was a huge step up for us when we came. Sadly, there are some things they need to address. First, they call from random numbers at times with area codes not from the DMV area. I've missed several calls because I didn't realize it was from their office. More concerning, trying to reschedule an appointment with them is like pulling teeth (couldn't resist). The latest example, my wife was sick during her 6 month checkup. She cancelled and called later to reschedule when she felt better. The earliest appointment they had available was APRIL! In other words, she would miss an entire cleaning. I wish I could say this was an isolated incident, but it is the 3rd or 4th time it has happened to us. Over a 2 year period we missed 2 cleanings because we were sick, had to reschedule, and they couldn't find a spot for us earlier than 6 months out.

Fantastic experience: Ms. Kazum was incredibly gentle and professional throughout the entire teeth cleaning process. Her attention to detail and gentle approach made the experience much more comfortable than I anticipated. Additionally, I was impressed by Kazums politeness and the way she took the time to explain each step of the procedure, which helped me feel at ease. It’s clear that she truly cares about her patients and their comfort. Thank you for maintaining such high standards of care in your practice. I look forward to my next appointment.

Fantastic experience: Tiffany was my hygienist and did a wonderful job on teeth that hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. She didn't make me feel bad about my lack of dental care and she never once complained. Dr Shin was very nice and has come up with a treatment plan for my fractured tooth. I wish I didn't have to go back for additional work on my teeth but I am glad it is with them as I feel as though I am in good hands. Oh and though I didn't get her name, the young lady at the front desk was fantastic in explaining what my insurance would cover and the best way to go about scheduling my follow-up appts. Great team at True Dental! Will be bringing other family members to them and recommending to friends.

Fantastic experience: First time at this dentist the other day. Very clean office, cute seasonal decorations, calm atmosphere. They even had netflix. This is only the third time I’ve ever been to a dentist in general so I was very nervous, but I left feeling a little bit more confident about my next steps regarding my teeth. The dentist very patiently explained my issues and what could be done to fix them in a way even I could understand (which is not easy to do because I am very ignorant when it comes to anything regarding teeth). Would definitely recommend this office - and would especially recommend it for families. I think they would do a great job with helping kids feel a little bit more comfortable.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had good dentists in the past, but the entire experience at True Dental was exceptional. From scheduling, to X-rays, cleaning and exam everyone is kind and professional. The office is state of the art, but also warm and welcoming. They also were very good about COVID protocols with double masks, Hepa filters in rooms and not crowding the waiting room. I was seen at exactly my appointment time. The hygienist explained everything to me and did a great job cleaning. Dr. Shin was kind and thorough. Fantastic care and service!

Fantastic experience: Wow I can’t say enough about the amazing treatment and experience at True Dental. I am a new patient, who had a tooth ache. I was able to get in right away and work with the dentist for a plan and deep cleaning. My next appointment the hygienist took such great care, explaining every step of the process checking in with me telling me what to expect. It helped ease the anxiety I normally would feel. So thankful my neighbors referred me to True Dental!

Negative experience: Dr. Jai Shin told me that I needed a crown replaced because there was a gap in between my gum and the crown that I had. He told me that food could get underneath and that bacteria would form. He removed the crown and then shaped my tooth far beyond what it had to be. I asked him why he had to continue to keep shaping and sanding my tooth away to a tiny nub and the nerves are now exposed, he said that he wanted to shape it the way he wanted it. After all is said and done there is still a gap in between the crown and my gum line thus his mission objective was incomplete. I now have permanent pain, especially when I eat or drink anything. I also have pain when I'm not drinking or eating anything, if I'm just sitting watching TV the pain will shoot and throb. I asked Dr. Jai Shin if I could please have a toothbrush so I can brush my teeth before him putting on the new crown and he didn't want to give me a complimentary toothbrush because it cost the company (him) too much money. He told me that they are no longer accepting my insurance because the people that have my insurance usually have multiple problems and that he was the one that is responsible for no longer accepting my insurance. He later lied to me and told me that it was his company's choice that made the decision. But the truth of the matter is that he was the one that made the decision. If you are reading this and are making a decision on whether or not to go to this dentist, please do not! Dr. Jai Shin is a butcher, a sadist, and a liar.

I’m a big proponent of masking, even after they said the pandemic is over. But the fact that you all still are cautious and have air purifiers in every room, speaks volumes to me. Fantastic experience: By far one of the best dental practices I have ever been to. I'm newer to the area and my wife wanted to go here because she had heard how great of a clinic it is. They were not pushy at all with any of the treatments and explained everything very well. I decided to get some fillings done with some of my chipped teeth and Dr. Julie and Rinnie were the absolute best! I told them I how I don't like shots and they were amazing in comforting me throughout the whole procedure. Very grateful for their sincerity in their care and how professional of a practice they have!

When my veneer broke at work, they were able to get me an emergency appointment the same day, I received my temporary veneer, and the process to get the permanent one was seamless. They do require masks which may be an additional as for some but doesn’t bother me at all. Safety first! I highly recommend True Dental and am actually looking forward to my next visit.

Fantastic experience: Phenomenal service and a gorgeous facility. I took my little one for her first appointment and the team took such great care of her. They were so caring and gentle with her and the prizes after her cleaning made everyone’s day.

Negative experience: I do not write reviews unless the service was spectacular or very poor. Dr, Shin had created one of the worst atmospheres that I had ever experienced. The staff are very rude and disrespectful to the patients. I witnessed the staff scold a guest of this practice in front of other people in the waiting area. As the staff was returning to her office, I could hear use vulgar language under her breathe about the guest. I will not be returning to this practice.

Fantastic experience: Best cleaning experience I’ve ever had! Everyone was so nice and took their time with me to address any issues. They offered nonjudgmental advice on how to improve my dental health with no pressure. They have so many good reviews for a reason.

Fantastic experience: I have never felt relaxed and welcomed at anywhere before but this office. They are true professional and invested in modern technology. Screens everywhere to see what they are showing you. TV in front and above you to watch program while procedure is being done. Clean office and plenty of parking. My entire family now has a great dentist to go to for all our dental needs.

Fantastic experience: The best thing to ever happen was my current dentist dropping my dental insurance provider so I could find True Dental. From the moment I walked in the office I was greeted with a smile by the receptionist. The office is sleek, welcoming, and very clean! Injung did my cleaning and it was the best I have ever had. She is very gentle. She small extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain the condition of my teeth and suggestions to keeping them healthy. There were two large televisions in the patient exam room- one to show pictures of your teeth for education and another when your teeth are being cleaned to watch Netflix. The rooms and technology were state of the art. Lastly, I saw Dr Jai Shin. He was very kind and reiterated what was suggested by the dental assistant. There is such a difference in experience with private family practice dentistry versus commercial dental chains. I left elated that I finally found a dental practice I loved!

Fantastic experience: Love True Dental! Dr. Jai and Dr. Julie are terrific. The clinical staff are so friendly and gentle. I always recommend them to family and friends. I recently a dental issue with a crown breaking and was able to get an appointment same day and as always exceptional care was given for my visit. I will always give a shout out and referral to this office.

Negative experience: Be weary of any establishment with raving reviews of over 1000+ people. I visited the establishment because of the great reviews but I am disappointed to find out that majority of these reviews are prompted by the owner. After your first visit they hound you with requests to leave a good review for their practice. I received at least 3 emails and three text messages to do so. As you can see majority of these reviews are from first time visitors. Pros: clean office, timely, entertainment is available while doing your cleaning. Con: they are only good at general cleaning. For anything more I will not recommend. They seem to struggle with simple fillings and cavities. After multiple failed attempts to fill a cavity, I went to another dentist and she fixed me up with no issues. Con 2: I also now believe that they over charge me on several procedures I had from them as well.

Fantastic experience: I did the online contact and they never got back to me, however when I called they picked up almost immediately; which was great! Made an appointment for that same week and was seen. The customer service was above and beyond I loved the atmosphere. It’s clean and quiet. The workers are really professional and personable. They don't rush and make sure that you understand everything thats going on from beginning til you pay. Highly recommended!
