Fantastic experience: Quick, Efficient, Affordable and friendly staff!

Fantastic experience: I love this place. Today I received a temporary crown because the previously one broke that was from another dentist and I was so impressed at how nicely the temporary crown looked. The dental assistant really went above and beyond to make sure the permanent crown matched my teeth. Everyone is always so pleasant. Definitely highly recommend Garrisonville Dental.

Fantastic experience: Always pleased with my service at Garrisonville Dental! From the Drs …. The competant assistants, front desk team and the amazing hygienists. Today, I had Sabrina as my hygienist! She did a fabulous job of cleaning my teeth….. they feel squeaky clean! Sabrina is extremely thorough, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient! Cant wait to see her next time!!

Fantastic experience: My family and I have been coming to this practice for almost 30 years now. Even though we normally see them only once every six months, you feel that small town vibe. You know, that feeling you all know each other and each other’s families. The service is wonderful, and they really care about your dental health. Just like every other healthcare provider in the Stafford area, unless it’s an emergency, you have to schedule months out.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient of Dr. Thomas’ for close to a year now, with several appointments every month, and an extensive ‘full mouth recovery’ as I will call it. Growing up, I had never liked going to the dentist, which was multiplied into extreme dental anxiety by poor treatment from a past dentist. I will say, coming to Garrisonville Dental was the best choice I could’ve made for myself; and my teeth, especially after years of NOT seeing a dentist. The entire staff is not only accommodating, but super kind, comforting, and helpful. I cannot speak higher of Dr. Thomas. His delicacy, care, attention to detail, and demeanor makes his character everything you’d ever want from a dentist. He will stop, remove everything from your mouth, and let you adjust, speak, explain if something’s uncomfortable, etc. He’s ALWAYS watching for queues, or signs of discomfort too; which often goes unnoticed!!! Dr. Thomas will be my Dr. until he retires, or moves!

Fantastic experience: I like it much better now. The whole office front office staff and dr. Han and Karen . They are the only 2 I’ve seen recently but I have seen others and these are also great. And I thank all of you.

My treatment was first class and I was informed of every step prior to it happening. I could not have asked for any better care.

Fantastic experience: I get the BEST, MOST THOROUGH cleanings here with Mrs. Nicole (used to be last initial J) -She is HANDS DOWN the most personable and thorough hygienist I've ever seen!! Today the machine was down but that didn't stop her from working some magic on my teeth! It took some time but she never made me feel bad about it or rushed. Her attention to detail and work ethic are TOP NOTCH-AND she is very gentle also! As a nervous patient, she makes me feel at ease. SO THANKFUL that I FOUND NICOLE, I will always ask for her when I visit Dr. Sur who is also very kind and thorough!!

Negative experience: Updated 6.9.25 Unfortunately all great things must end. That's what's happened here at Garrisonville Dental. I have moved on after several bad experiences over the past months. Updated 3.28.22 This place is still so amazing. My entire family aggrees, Garrisonville Dental thank you for many years of excellent care. This place is amazing from the front staff , the doctors and assistants in the back to the play area for kids complete with a video game console(no quarter needed). Excited to come back for a follow up and a brighter smile! Thanks Brandi, Dr. J and the rest of the staff here at Garrisonville Dental. Be prepared to meet the family, cuz that's exactly what this place is. UPDATE...... So I have completed my regimen of appointments and finally can chew my food properly. Furthermore, I can eat whatever I want , tonight I am planning on eating several ears of corn.....my favorite. Thanks again yall

Nothing has changed. Still the BEST Dental Office in Stafford County. The receptionist(s) are always friendly, helpful, thoughtful and respectful. Evon (sp) my hygienist hasn't missed a beat she's still excellent! Dr. Han customer care was excellent and his jokes still give me a chuckle and leave me scratching my head Thank you so much for taking such great care of my teeth.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Howard and his staff do a terrific job. They are so welcoming, always ask about the family and our young child, and take extra care of us during our visit. They go above and beyond to make sure your visit goes as planned. I couldn’t recommend them more for any dental or ortho needs!

Fantastic experience: Had to go in for an unscheduled visit. My crown on my front tooth broke off the night before. They got me in the day I called and I was treated by Dr Sur. He was fantastic! Did not rush anything. Took his time going through my options and thoroughly explained everything. I left with my smile intact (new post and crown remounted). I also want acknowledge Kaci who helped me talk through the options as well and was just the kindness person.

The ladies at the front desk, my dental hygienist (definitely ask for Cindy), and Dr Han: all took care to ensure I was comfortable and well taken care of. Zero wait time. They actually took me early, and was out rather quickly.

They do great work and definitely make a trip to the dentist much less stressful. Hygienists are highly skilled and do a great job with cleanings, x rays and other treatments. And the dentists we’ve had are always top notch. Can’t say enough good things about the folks at Garrisonville Dental!

Fantastic experience: I came in as an emergency walk in due to extreme pain and from beginning to end everyone was so welcoming and helpful. The front got me checked in and good to go quickly and Dr. Thomas was so welcoming and made me feel calm about my procedures! Definitely recommend!!

It's a lovely and comfortable office with knowledgeable people and offers a warm and friendly experience, especially for the most anxious patients I cannot speak highly enough of Garrisonville Dental and everyone who works there, They all go above and beyond to provide their patients with the best possible experience. Positive experience: As always in the past, I received excellent dental care. Be advised though that you better show up on time or even early for any appointments. I was delayed arriving by 20 minutes due to an accident on the Interstate. I called to advise them I was on my way but would arrive late. They had an absolute late policy of 15 minutes. They refused to see me. They charged me fir a missed appointment. And I had to wait two months for another appointment. This policy is the only negative comment I have about this practice.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Garrisonville Dental for years. The staff is professional, they send reminder texts for appointments and usually run on time with little waiting. My regular cleaning was recently cancelled due to a February snowstorm that closed everything down for the day and they were able to schedule me with my regular hygienist, Sabrina, within two weeks. Fantastic dental office and staff!

Fantastic experience: This is a wonderful practice. My family and I have been going here for almost 25 years. Excellent care and they are always staying current with the latest treatments. Beautiful building and great employees. I went for my 6 month cleaning and Sabrina did a fabulous job and is so gentle but thorough. We appreciate her skill and ability to put you at ease. My husband had a crown come off on Memorial Day Holiday and Dr. Sur came in early to get it put back on. We are so grateful for the wonderful care we have received here. They go above and beyond and give us the best care. So happy with my visit! I highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: In a sea of uncertainty, this dental office is a great choice and worth your visit if you’re not a patient here and are looking around. They’re clean, on-time, professional, and personable. The front desk staff are efficient and helpful. The providers have great “bedside” manners.

Negative experience: I did not appreciate being scanned for Invisalign without explanation. I was lead to believe it was new and part of my checkup. I thought I was going to the dentist not to the car dealership. I was pushed out without receiving my fluoride; the condition of my teeth were not discussed. Instead Invisalign was the goal (several thousand dollars). I am very disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Good cleaning, the staff is so very helpful. One of the biggest opportunities are the Dentist needs to as least go over what the hygienist had found. I saw the dentist for MAYBE two minutes, little discouraging to the person that sees them twice a year.

Fantastic experience: It was a dental cleaning appointment and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. The hygienist was personable, gentle and very professional. She was very gentle. At no time did she cause even the slightest pain. She was quick and skillful. She let me know what to expect before each phase of the session process. Dr. Sur was very professional as well. His demeanor instills confidence in his medical assessment.

Fantastic experience: I visited Garrisonville Dental today for tooth pain. Office staff was friendly and courteous. I was brought back for my appointment right on time. Dr. Howard quickly assessed my problem, and even gave me an antibiotic to take while there to get the treatment started. He discussed next steps and how to relieve the pain until then. In and out with x-rays in under a half hour. Thanks, Garrisonville Dental!
