Negative experience: Originally gave a 5 star review because my daughter’s first appointment went well. (I will say the girls at the front desk and the assistants have all been nice!)Second appointment, I was not so pleased with the doctor not waiting for the numbing to fully sit before an extraction. 3rd appointment today was also not great. The doctor did not communicate on explaining the appointment. We had 2 cavity fillings scheduled and only did one because I asked for my daughter to be numb. The doctor planned to do two fillings on my daughter without numbing her. Comfort and care is not a priority to the doctor, rushing is. Also had to wait over 30 mins to be seen. Will not be returning.

Negative experience: Worst dental experience of my life! Sad to say that I have received better dental treatment from a prison here in Illinois or back home in Philly. A young lady fron the front desk calls to confirm my appointment and after telling here several times over the phone, she still can not get my birth year correct. Get there at least 10 minutes before my appointment, filled out paperwork since it was my first visit, I was then called to the back and was given an examination / x-ray room to wait in. Key word: "wait". After my x-rays were taken, I had to wait around half hour for Dr. Jacob to see me. The place was not full of patients. Monday at noon is not typically a busy timeframe. The cleaning she performed was so quickly & unprofessionaly done that she did not even apply paste on my teeth before cleaning. Googles were provided halfway into the session as my face was already drenched. No paper towels / napkins on my neck / chest area. She was quick with information until she finally asked if I had any other questions, so I said yes. As I started to ask her as to why, on five different occassions did they overlook my resume. I'm more than qualified. I am a true bilingual (English & Spanish). I have worked at two previous dental facilities and know their inner "lingo" or dental jargon. She abruptly and in a very rude fashion told me that she does not deal with that and immediately left the room. NOT going back there, and take it from me all, I literally live right across the street from. I'd rather drive elsewhere and get the proper care, attention and most of all respect I deserve. I really do hope you take these reviews seriously and into consideration...or for what is worth: "For training and educational purposes"! ...regardless...I'm going to keep on smiling!...yes...pun intended.

Negative experience: Came in for my appointment at 10:00 and gave them my information to sign in I sat around until 10:35 and then they had informed me that they could not attend me as they could not verify my insurance information. They told me to make another appointment. I called my insurance a few minutes later and they confirmed my information for me. While on the phone with them they called Sonrisa and after that Sonrisa called me back to make another appointment they said that they had received the wrong information and where able to verify. How are you not able to get the right information and have me sitting there for almost an hour? This is also the 3rd time the rescheduled my appointment. Not only me but my dad had an appointment with them and waited around 45 minutes to be seen. Why make appointments if you cannot see your patient on time. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING. THEY JUST WASTE YOUR TIME AND ARE NO HELP BE AWARE!

Negative experience: I would never use this business again. They say they send text messages for your appointment reminder yet no text message arrives. Then they want to charge a rescheduling fee. When asking questions about your records they have no answer. Then when you ask to speak to the manager they put another receptionist on the phone. Not only that there dentist assistance talk about the people that go there. This is obviously violating HIPPA law. Would not recommend no one to go there especially if you don’t want your business put out there.

Fantastic experience: They numbed me very well. Couldn’t feel a thing and my teeth are feeling better!

Negative experience: I never been here before, but tried calling to see if they accept Medicaid and they said yes and I asked them do they do a root canal and they told me they did and then hung up the phone before I could ask more questions. That is why I do not like dentists from the Hood…. I will not be going there since they were rude and waste my time.

Negative experience: I called about two weeks ago. I had a molar half of it fall out and I’m new to the area and I tried to get in as an emergency as if that right there is not enough to qualify as an emergency. They put me in for an appointment on 13 June, and this was two weeks ago now here I am, I’m bleeding from that molar and the rest of it is falling out. My gum is swollen and I’ve waited all this time. I wonder if these are professionals that answer the phone and understand the severity when you say you have a molar that had fallen out! I am now finding myself calling around for an emergency dental appointment that accepts my insurance With not much of a tooth left in my gum in my around the area are swollen!!! Let me tell you this is definitely not a five star service! I am to say the least, extremely unsatisfied with this practice I cannot believe when a patient calls in and request for an emergency visit you get pushed out for nearly a month!!!! If anybody trying to go here, I would not recommend it.

Negative experience: Staff is very rude, unprofessional. They are not trained properly. I have been requesting to speak to owner of someone higher than management and they said I have to speak to them. They don’t take patients time seriously. Very unprofessional. Especially management.

Negative experience: I have been going here for years with my mother.But as and adult I went by myself and I was nervous They check my teeth oh they told me you need surgery I said can you give me recommendations (that lady that check teeth) She laughed like it was comedy joke and said oh you don't need them only one place accept your Insurance She barely talk to me I felt stupid For evening asking Like I'm new to this whole adult world I feel like they dont take me seriously probably because I look way Younger .Also one worker Told me to write a review and wouldn't leave me until I did Idk that just makes me uncomfortable I am tired from going to work and just want to do my appointment peacefully. But I don't blame that women that said plz write a review I know she was just doing her Job May life bless her.but for reviews I have one suggestion You just give like a piece of candy when someone writes a review That would make more people want volunteer to give stars don't force it to patients that are just waiting for their appointment not everyone likes it.

Negative experience: Today was my last time coming to this unprofessional racist establishment it took them 2 hours to confirm my insurance because the girl in the front didn’t know what she was doing there were a group of workers in the front putting up decorations and taking pictures and she’s asking them for help and there not entertaining her because she’s helping me mind you there’s groups of hispanics in and out of their appointment, and mine was before theirs finally a seasoned receptionist stepped in and it took her 5 minutes to confirm my insurance then when I finally went to the back the assistant told me I needed doctors note to get service because I’m pregnant she tells me this after I’ve been waiting for two hours and I put on the paper I was pregnant to the front desk I walked out they don’t care about peoples time and there very rough when doing cleaning anyway always cutting my gums never again tacky unprofessional workers here
