Fantastic experience: We are new patients but we have had a wonderful experience so far! KC Braces and Kids came in as a recommendation to us from several friends. They have a very friendly and welcoming staff, clean office and organized process. They respect your time by being timely with appointments.

Fantastic experience: Warm regards! As a registered dental hygienist (dental provider), I recommend KC braces + kids. The expert doctors here are talented and passionate. In addition to recommending this clinic to my friends, family, and patients, I needed re-treatment as an adult and am trusting them with my care (I'm presently receiving treatment). Even though I have access to orthodontic therapy elsewhere in KC, I was searching for specialist in the field to work on my personal smile. I strive for quality, long-term results, attention to detail and requests when I seek care in specializations. Their process here is very thorough and they take their time. Doctor David has customized my case and smile specific to me and my expectations. The providers here do the work for best optimal results in an efficient manner. The whole team treat you like family and want you to receive what you came for… The Smile of your dreams! I conduct research and, in this instance, I am receiving treatment from the same office that I recommend to my patients, so you shouldn't go elsewhere. Also, I would like to express my gratitude to Doctor David, Jared, and the entire staff for their professionalism and kindness. Negative experience: On 1/2/25 I made a $3,000 payment using my FSA card. When they ran the payment the rep said there was a glitch and she needed to get the called info and run it again. I gave her the card info again and said said it only authorized $200. I thought this was weird but said okay just run it for $200 and I’ll see why my FSA didn’t approve the larger amount. When I went to check both the $3000 payment and the $200 payment went through. I told them about this, offered to email or come up and show them the statement showing it posted. And they did not care. They said they didn’t see the payment. No one is willing to do any research on it, no one has apologize for the inconstancy the “glitch” caused. They even said they have a new system and had been having issues with it but they refuse to think that could possibly have anything to do with this missing $3000. That’s nothing to sneeeze at. I already have money coming out of my paychecks for the FSA to cover this and now I have to pay out of my pocket also while I wait up to 60 days for my dispute with the card company to be resolved. I’m just really disappointment by the lack of accountability and empathy. I’ve posted a picture of the statement. It says needs documentation because they want to know what I spent $3000 on to make sure it’s eligible. They payment has gone through the documentation just determines rather I’m taxed on it or not.

Fantastic experience: Been with them since March of last year and so far I’m loving my results, i would recommend and i have recommended KC Braces and Kids to numerous people when it comes to straitening there teeth. I’ve had the pleasure of getting Jess twice at my appointments and i love her energy and how she covers everything you ask and will give you some great tips! She is awesome!

Fantastic experience: Both of my sons are being treated here and I’ve been very pleased with the practice and all of their employees. I interviewed a handful of orthodontists and chose KC Braces & Kids based on their professionalism, updated technology, pricing and friendliness. The doctors are easy to talk to and don’t dismiss questions or concerns. There are always appointment times available when we need them, even when it’s an unexpected issue that needs to be tended to quickly. We are still at the beginning stages of their treatments but have already seen great outcomes. I’m happy to recommend them to others!

As of today we are adding orthodontic care. We are beyond happy with their customer service from the receptionist to treatment and follow-up scheduling. Their staff is always friendly and inviting. Fantastic experience: We have been so impressed with Dr. David and his team! We went to another orthodontist that was recommended to us first and I was not impressed. Not only did he try to oversell us, he told us that our son needed way more work than he actually did. When we went to see Dr David he told us exactly what we needed, which was way less than what the other orthodontist had recommended. Not only that, it was very Reasonably priced comparatively. The team has been so kind and helpful. The communication is wonderful and Dr David even texted us the first night to make sure our son was doing OK with the braces. To say they go above and beyond is an understatement . I would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I decided to get braces as an adult after 4 different consultations and actually almost went with clear aligners at a different practice but after my consultation at KCBK with Dr. Jared I changed my mind and went with metal Damon braces. They really took the time to explain the pros and cons and what it would mean for my specific situation for each of the different appliance/braces options. On the day of putting my braces on, Brittany was my clinical assistant and helped Dr. Jared install them. She’s was FANTASTIC - she took the time to explain every step that she was doing and really looked after me in the 1.5 hours I spent there. She took the time reassure me and answered any and all questions I had honestly. In the short time I spent with her she was so knowledgeable and personable that it felt like I was just talking to a friend the whole time I was there. As a heads up they only do application of braces in the morning. They also have a really cool rewards system where every time you come in you can get points for having great oral hygiene and it translates into gift cards! There’s a text line available where you can text in any questions and the Doctor can also check in on you so you don’t have to play phone tag. Honestly would recommend KC Braces and Kids to everyone. So far my experience has been a 10/10.

Positive experience: My daughter just got braces and she has had a good experience with the staff. The communication has been good related to appointments and schedule planning. I will say there was a billing issue that I’m not sure is yet resolved. Apparently the contract signed had one price but they said they forgot some things so it increase about $1k. Also in the meantime, our insurance changed and I still haven’t heard back if the prior services which are now priced higher will get any coverage. The prices here are higher than some others around town but we heard of positive experiences and outcomes so we chose them. They do heavily push for reviews which made a difference but now as a customer I also realize this a big focus for the practice. Good to just be aware! Again, the dentist and hygienist have been friendly and enjoyable for my daughter so far, we are just starting.

Fantastic experience: We absolutely love KC Braces and Kids! Phenomenal from check in to check out. The lady at the front desk is wonderful she always greets us right when we walk in, we never have a long wait. All of the staff has been more than accommodating to us. We have made a couple of emergency after hours visits and someone has always promptly assisted us. Phone calls returned promptly and very reasonable prices.

Fantastic experience: SUCH an amazing experience! Point system in place to encourage kids to take good care of their teeth/braces. Damon braces allow for longer periods of time between appointments. The office staff/Dr.s are very thorough and patient. 5 stars for sure!

Fantastic experience: Really pleased with our experience so far. About an hour after my son finished getting his braces put on, a bracket popped off. We went right back up to the office and they immediately fixed the braces and worked a different plan based on the one unique tooth causing the problem. Everyone is very helpful and answered all of our questions.

Anytime he accidentally broke a wire they were able to get us in to repair it quickly. The staff knows us and is always welcoming. Fantastic experience: I came to KC Braces & Kids after having a bad experience with a different Orthodontist and not getting the results I had hoped for. Best decision I made! I had a great experience with my consultation and first visit with Dr. David Christensen, the clinical staff and Admin staff. Fantastic experience: We started going to KC Braces + Kids when our oldest needed an appliance due to overcrowding and to push a few teeth forward. We were very pleased with her treatment and results. When our middle needed top braces we knew we wanted to go back. She had them placed today and the process went faster than I expected. She was nervous but they did what they could to help ease her worries. As soon as we got home she had the biggest smile and loves her new braces! The whole staff is wonderful.

Fantastic experience: Kc braces and kids are thorough. Jessica was patient and kept telling my child what she was doing all the time. They take their time and they don’t rush you and they are always asking us if we have any questions.

Negative experience: Just awful - after having an appointment to become patients we had an emergency, and they wouldn't see us as we hadn't signed "the contract" yet. We had to call another local orthodontist who was kind enough to get us in that day and didn't even charge us. Thankful for nice people in the world who take care of hurting children when needed.

Fantastic experience: Today I went in to get my braces on. From me walking into the door to walking out I was pleased with my experience. The ladies at the front desk welcomed me with a smile and checked me in. Another employee took me to the back and explained payment options and what I was signing for. I was then taken to the chairs and my dental assistant was extremely amazing. I truly was impressed. The dr came by and made sure everything was done correctly and to my surprise he didn’t have to fix much. I was expressed my the professionalism and quickness from everyone. I also loved that the other stafff members made sure everyone else had everything they needed to make it ever quicker. I was empresses. Thank you to everyone.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dave Christensen is a friend of mine and consistent with his character I didn’t expect anything less than excellent service, and true to form, he delivered. And so did his staff. Dave is a great guy whose friendship I value. If you’re looking for top notch orthodontic care look no further and I’m not just speaking from my personal experience with having braces put on, but also from the fact that 3 of my 4 kids got their braces here. He does things right and with patience.

Fantastic experience: The staff at KC Braces + Kids are awesome! Everyone was friendly and very helpful. They were great with my son and explained everything they were doing to put braces on. I highly recommend KC Braces + Kids!!

Fantastic experience: My daughter just got her braces put on, so we're new to the orthodontist. With that being said, my experiences to this point have been very positive. The staff was kind, answered all of our questions and made us feel very comfortable with their practice.

Fantastic experience: My youngest daughter got her braces on today. Natalya was amazing! While she was working she would explain, to my daughter, what she was going to be doing and always making sure my daughter was comfortable. The staff and doctors are amazing!
