Positive experience: I wasn’t expected to pay that much and the billing/admin team wasn’t do a good job to give customer an estimate before check in time. I have to rescheduled my daughter appointment to straight this out. However, The doctor and the nurse are very nice. Doctor Rieck was so busy but he still reached out after work hours to see if my daughter is ok after her teeth extraction. The nurse also called to follow up after a few days. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: This office’s service from beginning to end was phenomenal. Even though getting my wisdom teeth extracted was my first surgical procedure, I wasn’t anxious about it. I think that says a lot about the great consultation they provide. I had four wisdom teeth removed, and it honestly felt like it was done in five minutes. I woke up with no pain and was well taken care of. My wife was there waiting for me when I woke up. That was great ^_^. The surgeon himself (David) came in to check on us and was very intentional and thoughtful about it. Thank to all the nurses and staff as well. Fantastic experience: Well run from start to finish. Their online portal and automatic mailing makes the pre-procedure process really easy. The facility is well-kept and in a convenient location. All staff and doctors took time to explain what was being done and why, even billing was explained as plainly as I’ve had it explained.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Czechura is amazing. Extremely professional. He puts you at ease with his calm demeanor and completes procedures so quickly it’s over before you realize he has started. The staff here is also amazing, literally everyone was so kind and makes sure the patient is comfortable. If you are a nervous dental patient- this is the place to come because not only do they make sure you’re comfortable, you can tell they know what they are doing and you can trust them.

Negative experience: READ BEFORE YOU BOOK! My husband was recommended this place by our local dentist for wisdom teeth removal. It was easy to make an appointment, staff is friendly and space is clean. When they had finished his removal the nurses were very helpful and clear about the next few days of at home after care. We were both surprised to see that he had minimal pain and swelling, but continued to follow the at home care and to finish the antibiotic prescribed by Dr. Rieck. After 2 weeks he started complaining of pain and slight swelling on one side of his mouth. Assuming it is normal, he continued to take ibuprofen to help with the pain. By week 3 he was complaining of throbbing pain that was waking him up in the middle of the night and started to feel a tingle/numbness on his chin going up his cheek. By the middle of week 3 we were able to get into the office to see Dr. Rieck, with hopes for some answers on why he was experiencing so much pain this many weeks after his removal. Dr. Rieck had dismissed my husbands concerns for the numbness he was experiencing, and concluded that the pain and continues swelling of his cheek was the result of a swore muscle. Despite being 3 weeks post surgery. He had then told my husband to continue to take ibuprofen and apply a warm wash cloth to the cheek. With no other option but to trust the professional, we try the warm cloth and continued to take ibuprofen. The next day the pain and swelling had gotten significantly worse, leading us to take him to Urgent Care for a second opinion. Here she very quickly conclude that his lymph nodes were very swollen and had an infection. Our overall experience was a 2, however if you are looking for any after care help and or for someone to listen and not dismiss your pain avoid this place.

They really set you up for a great experience through the entire process including recovery. Would 100% recommend Dr. Ant and the rest of the crew to anyone!

Fantastic experience: You rarely associate a positive experience in regards to dental procedures, however, the team at Nebraska Oral and Facial Surgery is top notch. From the moment I got there, each member of the team was extremely friendly and cared about my comfort prior to, during, and after the procedure. Post op care and instructions were clearly explained and the were quick to address any questions I had. The kicker was that I was contacted, by Dr. Moutray, later in the evening to see how things were progressing. Not a machine or a nurse who knew little of what went on. If you are ever in the need for dental procedures, I couldn’t recommend them enough after this experience.

They made sure I was comfortable every step of the way, and made a scary process quick and easy. Financing was easy, even despite frustrating roadblocks from my dental insurance provider, and they were willing to work with me on payment plans. Fantastic experience: I needed to have a tooth extracted. The tooth was badly infected resulting in my hospitalization a month ago. The extradition went fine and I had no problems during recovery. I recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Nebraska Oral and Facial Surgery is a great place to go for your oral surgical needs. The staff and surgeon prepared me ahead of time for this difficult extraction. She had to work quite hard to get this tooth to come out. She did an excellent job and the next day there is minimal pain and no swelling. I was very impressed with all the staff at the surgery center and would not hesitate to recommend them for your dental needs.

Fantastic experience: I had two teeth extracted and implants put in by Dr. Cleverley. At every point along the way, from the scheduling, initial appointment, check-in, to the actual surgery, everyone couldn’t have been more capable or considerate. Dr. Cleverley was recommended by my dentist and was professional, knowledgeable and considerate.

Negative experience: Not lower class friendly in the slightest, they specifically waited until after my consultation to inform me that they were going to charge me over $1300 with no offer of a payment plan, I was given 2 days notice (I am a full time college student I work three days a week, I would need two months notice) and when I told them I wasn’t prepared to pay that amount upfront before the surgery they told me that I would have to reschedule and pay them $300 for the consultation plus ANOTHER $300 for another consultation if I didn’t come back within 90 days. I felt very humiliated and very disappointed in the lack of communication. please do better of informing patients BEFORE their surgery that they have to pay upfront.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Tom Czechura, DMD, MPH, and his staff provided exceptional care. Two nurses exhibited professionalism and kindness. Dr. Czechura's proactive follow-up calls to patients are commendable. His dedication should serve as a model for all healthcare providers. Upon arrival, I was experiencing significant pain due to a cracked, infected molar connected to a wisdom tooth. The team promptly addressed the issue, contacting my dentist to develop a comprehensive treatment plan. The service received was outstanding and deserves a five-star rating.

Negative experience: After a necessary tooth pulled, which went fine, a 2 week post op went severally wrong! They mixed me up with another person with the same name. They never verified birthday, address, phone number, just checked me in. The staff the proceeded to tell me a needed to return in a month even tho everything was fine. After I got home, I received a call from my dentist telling me they were contacted by Nebraska Oral about 2 more questionable teeth! Thank God I followed up with my dentist because the xray quality at my dentist was 110% better at my dentists office. They confirmed that my teeth were fine! I called Nebraska Oral back and got attitude when addressing the person mix up! I have spent decades trying to address what genetics has dealt me and be on top of my oral care only to have Nebraska Oral tell me with their mix up and shady xrays that I needed 2 more teeth pulled! How many others have they talked into unnecessary dental work. To be fair, initially, all went well, it was the follow up. I don't even know if the correct info is in the right file. I won't go back after the attitude I received.

Fantastic experience: Another excellent visit at Nebraska Oral & Facial Surgery at their 56th Street location. I always feel like everything is taken care of in advance. I’ve been to this oral surgeon on 3 different occasions and on each one I have not worried about a thing. This visit was a major dental surgery and it went seamlessly, minimal bruising and swelling and I have perfect teeth again!!! Thank you Dr. Rieck!!! Fantastic experience: I can’t begin to say enough great things about the staff, that I had interactions with! I was a nervous wreck, about having a tooth extracted, but I was treated so kindly, from the moment that I walked through the front door, until I was wheeled out to our car! Dr. Cleverly was so kind, and did a wonderful job of explaining things to me. All of his staff, helped to calm my nerves, simply by being genuinely kind & caring! Even the Insurance lady, was so helpful & sweet too. I ended up having an implant done, after my cracked tooth was extracted, which I hadn’t planned to do. There was no pressure about making that decision, but because of every person’s knowledge & kindness; I knew that it was the best decision for me! The sedation, surgery, and recovery time all went very well. I am on my 2nd day of recovering from the procedure, and doing well. The office has already called to check on me, and set up my next appointment. SO impressed with this office, and their fabulous staff! Things could not have gone better! I would highly recommend this office & staff to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I am so happy with the care I got here. I went to the south location, and every single person I spoke to was so kind and understanding. Here in NE, I never go somewhere expecting my pronouns to be respected, but everyone here actually seemed to care about my comfort before going into surgery and was so so respectful. I walked in frightened about being under sedation, but the surgeon, techs, nurses, and front staff made me feel like I was in good hands. Thank you guys!!

Negative experience: So 5 stars for how well they did with taking care of my child. -1 star for accounting practices. My kid needed wisdom teeth out. Did a great job, great follow up. Excellent caring for him as a patient. The billing didn't go well. NOFS requested to get the information in advance. My wife submitted both the dental and the medical insurance. Then when she got to the office NOFS had her resubmit. OK That happens. They had us pay the entire amount and stated insurance didn't cover us. OK. My kid needs surgery, we are lucky enough we can afford to pay and then figure it out later. Next week we called and they had only submitted the health insurance not the dental. And they didn't have any record of the dental. Fine, here is the information. Called 10 days later, they hadn't submitted the dental. I insisted they get it submitted, today. They did. And told me it would be 5 to 6 weeks before it would be finalized. Fine. 5 weeks goes by and I call again. They agree they owe me reimbursement for more than $1000 and say they will call me back. They did not call me back. 3 more days go by, and I call them again. They state they owe me reimbursement, and they will call me back. I state, that is what your office said 3 days ago. They promise this time they will call me back. They do! And they agree to reimburse me. They ask if I want the reimbursement via credit card or check. I state check as I was trying to get rid of that credit card. They reimburse the credit card. At this point, I'm caring a positive balance on a card I'm trying to close. And I'm trying to get the money from the credit card company. At least, I'm done with NOFS billing folks? In conclusion, if you read all the way through this debacle. They are excellent medical practitioners. And the worst billing I've experienced, worse than insurance companies. Edit 1 year later: Re the comment from the business. They never reached out.

Fantastic experience: Last week I had my top two wisdom teeth extracted. I was very anxious about it as I am 39, but Dr. Rieck and his nurses did a fantastic job. The recovery was surprisingly less painful than I thought it would be. Would highly recommend for your dental procedures.

Fantastic experience: Needed a tooth pulled on an emergency basis. The clinic called me same day as my referral to get a consultation set up and the procedure was done the next day. Dr. Rieck and staff were all very friendly, professional and helped put my nerves at ease (who isn't nervous to have a tooth pulled?) which was so appreciated. The financial side of the procedure was explained well with payment options offered. 10/10 recommend.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! Dr. Cleverly and his team were very knowledgeable, professional and efficient. They explained all my different options for surgery and payment, along with the risks of each. I felt very confident that I was making an informed decision. This was my first surgery and the nurses who prepped me for surgery did a good job at talking to me and make me feel at ease going into surgery.

Fantastic experience: I had a really easy time scheduling an appointment here. My time in the office went great. Everyone was really nice. The explanations of what was going to happen were really clear and the post-op instructions were really detailed and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Very good experience with a full a full arch reconstruction. Dr Rieck and his teammates knew exactly what to do and what needed done. I was treated with kindness and respect, and everyone was very professional. Dr Rieck was especially skilled and experience in this kind of procedure, so I knew I was in good hands. The procedure lasted about four hours, but it seemed like I was only there a few minutes. My case was a little more involved, since it included two sinus lifts. I was put to sleep, so I didn't really know what went on, but Dr Rieck assured me that everything went fine and according to plan. I had very little pain or discomfort that afternoon, and the day after. I was able to discontinue my pain medications the day after, and felt very good. I had slight bruising and swelling, but not bad at all. Overall, this was a great experience, with and everyone made me feel relaxed and assured. One week update: Two days after the surgery, and after my dentist put in the temp prothesis, I returned to Dr Rieck make sure everything was OK. The visit went very smoothly, and he answered a couple of questions that I had. I was very happy with my temp prothesis, and couldn't believe how nice they were for just being temporary. The pamphlets and instructions that they gave me were right on track with what to expect. I did have a small amount of discomfort a day or two after the surgery, but it was easily remedied with some over the counter pain meds, which they supply with a prescription, as well as some narcotic pain killers and antibiotics. I never had to use the narcotics, and now, one week after the surgery, I rarely have to take any medication at all for the discomfort. Dr Rieck's nurse called me one week after the surgery to see if everything was going OK. I didn't have any concerns, but did have a question just out of curiosity that I asked. I will go back for my second check up two weeks after the surgery, and will give another update then. Three week update: I haven't been feeling any pain or discomfort for over a week, and never take any kind of pain meds anymore. All my bruising and swelling is gone. The implants and prosthesis feel very solid. I'm still limiting my eating to soft foods. I went in for my 2 week checkup to see Dr. Rieck. He examined me very carefully, and reported that everything looks well, and progressing nicely. He gave me a special water-flosser to use, and instructed me on the best way to use it. Three month update: Everything has been going very well with my temp prosthesis'. The actually feel like my normal teeth, and other than still maintaining a soft diet, I feel like I'm able to eat normally again. Had another visit with Dr. Rieck about a week ago. He confirmed everything is looking good, and stressed that I maintain my soft diet for a while longer, to insure the implants fuse properly with the bone. Four month update. My implants are still doing good. At my last appointment, Dr Rieck removed my prothesis's, and he and the staff scanned my implants and gums for my 2nd pair of dental prothesis's., After receiving them, they fit perfectly. Looking forward to receiving my final zirconium uppers and lowers. Six month update. After having the 2nd set of temps for a couple of months, and my regular dentist making a few small adjustments, my final set of zirconium implants were ordered. I was surprised how lightweight they were compared to the temps, and they felt very hard. They looked very good, and it is hard to even tell they are not my real teeth, other than them looking so good and flawless. Regarding functionality, I can now eat as well as I could 30 years ago, when I had all my own teeth and very little teeth issues. It's very hard to distinguish them from my real teeth, and I can eat practically anything I wish to. I will be seeing Dr Rieck for a final update shortly.

Dr. Rieck and his team were very informative and professional throughout the process. He even called me that evening to check how I was doing. 1st Class service from a 1st Class team…I cannot recommend them highly enough! Fantastic experience: Great experience and staff!! Dr. Cleverly was kind and informative, performed the surgery quickly and well! Journey, the nurse, talked me through all of the steps as I was so nervous, and eased my nerves while providing education on post-op care!!

Negative experience: They did surgery on my MOUTH and only gave enough pain meds for the day of the procedure... knowing it would take at LEAST a week before the stitches up wounds (yes... they had to put stitches in my mouth) would start healing after swelling went down. When I called back to request pain prescription, the scheduler lied and said the Dr Svoboda wasn't there. So I called the doctor's direct line and he said he didn't understand why she would tell me that when he was right in his office. Then he proceeded to breadcrumb me with one day's prescription of prescription painkillers and i had to call back another time to be breadcrumbs again.. all while these weirdos are telling me to take Tylenol for A SURGERY DONE ON MY MOUTH THAT REQUIRED STITCHES! Instead of worrying about patient care and comfort, they worry more about trying to judge a patient's drug dependence. I'm an official court reporter who earns more than half the staff at NE Oral and Facial, so even if I had a drug problem, I can obviously manage my life better and achieve more than the people in the office, so it's none of their jobs to treat me like I'm just some addict begging for narcotics just to get high. On the consultation before the procedure, no one explained the extent of the procedure and that I'd be walking out with cut up gums and a stitched up mouth (where my jaw is now connecting to my gum in a different place than before after healing .... smh). Not only did they speed through the consultation (until they took payment, of course), they made me feel like it was unreasonable to be calling them about the pain after. My home dentist office referred me to these people but I'll be finding a different office for the two remaining wisdom teeth extractions I need. I don't like being talked to and treated like a child when I'm supposed to be trusting these people to help me get back to health.

Fantastic experience: Best place to get your teeth pulled and knock out completely during surgery. Will be doing back for the 4th time and get the last wisdom teeth pulled. Thank you Dr. Rieck!

Fantastic experience: I had 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Tom Czechura over two sessions, both with local anesthesia. The procedures went very smoothly, and I experienced almost no pain during and after the procedure. I would feel comfortable recommending him to my friends.

Fantastic experience: I have terrible dental anxiety. The entire staff did a wonderful job of keeping me calm and distracted. They're empathy and kindness did not go unnoticed. I hope I never have to have more work done, but if I do I definitely will choose Dr Tom and his staff!

Negative experience: Our daughter had her impacted wisdom teeth removed there last May. The nurses and doctor care were excellent. The doctor also sent a follow-up text which I thought was great. They could not tell me what I would owe for the procedure prior to arriving at their office. When we arrived at the time of the procedure they ushered us into a room and made us pay the full $1700+ for the procedure in advance. I have two forms of insurance coverage that would also pay, so I found this extremely odd. Low and beyond 6 months go by- I know they owe me $$ but they still have not paid. I call and they seem in no rush to issue the check. When I finally get the check something seems off about the amount, but I wait a few more months to see if they will correct it. I hear nothing. So a year AFTER the procedure, I call my insurance company to see if they can help me figure this out. They confirm that I overpaid. They help me call NOFS billing dept which seemed to have a difficult time being able to provide me with a summary of what I paid and what I was refunded. Come to find out, THEY still owe me more than $300 and literally did not make any attempt to send it to me… after a YEAR! This would not be as annoying and unethical if they didn’t squeeze the money out of you the moment you step foot into the place. They seem extremely motivated to collect $ from you at the start (even though they will be paid by insurance) but do not show that same respect in return. I would not recommend this place unless you have lots of extra time to spend on the phone to get your money back.

Fantastic experience: Everyone I talked to and interacted with was amazing! Even with all my over-worrying they were very calm and thorough in explanation and really made me feel more comfortable. Dr Reick even took the time to check in with me later that night to see if everything was ok and see if I had any follow up questions. Fantastic people all around. A++ experience.

Fantastic experience: I got my wisdom teeth taken out by dr. czechura & his assistants Lina and Denaya were amazing. They were very precessional and walked me through everything. Even during the procedure I felt comfortable and taken care of. The front desk nurses were super nice and nurse Brenda was so helpful in the recovery room.

Fantastic experience: Staff were super nice. They took care of me and my extraction went quickly and smoothly. Minimal swelling post op and Dr. Cleverly, my surgeon, followed up on me same day of the surgery. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Everone at this office is friendly professional knowledgeable and efficient! The office is very clean and spacious. Dr Cleverly and his assistant, Maddie made me feel so much more comfortable and confident about having my tooth pulled and an implant post placed in my jaw than when I was driving to my appointment lol! I had heard wonderful things about Dr Cleverly from a couple friends and they were true! I really wish he could be my regular dentist! Also, the whole process went seamlessly. I would give them more stars, if I could lol!

Negative experience: The doctor and his team are great. The billing team however is not. I got a bill for over $1200 three months after my jaw surgery. I’ve called 3 times for an explanation on the bill and NOBODY can tell me what it’s for. How do you send a bill and nobody knows what it’s for? In fact, I was told to ignore it for now and somebody will call me back. Nobody calls me back. I have to keep calling but nobody helps when I call. I got an email with a link to a bill (never got a paper bill and I didn’t sign up for e-bill), and it says I still owe money even thou I was told to ignore it... I also never received an EOB from my insurance company related to the code on the statement... Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time I’ve had these types of issues with their billing either.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had multiple implants by Dr Clevery and his team. He and his staff are all very professional, friendly and supportive. Hopefully this is my last implant, but would go there again if circumstances require.

The expertise and the quality of treatment is hands-down the best I’ve ever experienced in the dental field. Fantastic experience: Went over to the 56th office to have some impacted wisdom teeth removed as well as a biopsy. As someone who has extreme anxiety about anything medical I was dreading this but Dr. Czechura and his team made me feel very comfortable and safely cared for, healing seems to be going without a hitch. I was provided everything I needed for the process. Scheduling as well as the folks at the front end were all very pleasant and it felt extremely professional. Fantastic experience: Amazing super easy and painless!!! Such a God send to have a fleet of helpful staff and specialists that didn't make me feel silly for my little hiccups and questions. I've heard many horror stories when it comes to wisdom tooth removal but I never once felt neglected, unsafe, or in unbearable pain before, during, or after the procedure. 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend!

Fantastic experience: My experience getting my wisdom teeth removed here was made better because of all the awesome people. Everyone here, including all of the front desk staff, nurse assistants, and doctors were exceptional. They all made a huge effort to ensure I was as comfortable as possible. I wouldn’t recommend any other in place in Lincoln to get wisdom teeth removed or have any other oral or facial surgery done. This place and the people here are truly the best!

Fantastic experience: This office and Dr.Cleverly are outstanding. I called late in the day and they made time for my son to come in … even staying after closing time to answer our questions and make my Son feel comfortable. Since they were able to get us in , my son is on antibiotics sooner and I didn’t have to miss work. I really appreciate you folks!! I was pretty anxious and was still treated so nicely by everyone from the receptionist , the nurse and the doc. If I could give more stars I would!! Thanks again!!

Fantastic experience: A big shout out & thank you to Dr Cleverly & staff. We started this implant process 5 or so months ago and today I got the final permanent one put in. Dr Cleverly explained the process beforehand so we knew what to expect & what was expected of us. No one looks forward to having teeth pulled but they got me through it with flying colors. I even got ice cream! Again thanks so much - it took a whole team to get me to this point & we started off on the right foot with having the right doctors.

Will not go anywhere else I had experience with two different doctors and at two of their locations and both locations and doctors we outstanding would recommend any doctor there.
