Negative experience: I had to get all four wisdom teeth surgically removed under anesthesia. There is NO POST-OP CARE! I don’t know how I got into the wheelchair, or even out to the car. All I can remember is the lady slapping me on the shoulder repeatedly yelling at me to wake up at my car door. I never saw a nurse or a doctor after my surgery. They’re worried about their numbers and money, not their patients. Apparently you’re suppose to have post-op X-rays done, that never happened for me. When I went back, I was in pain which was radiating up to my temple. They sent medicine over and told me to take Tylenol and Motrin. I did that for a week and the pain was only getting worse. I went back the following week to see what was going on. That’s when I found out I was supposed to get post op pictures. Well, they finally did the X-rays and the dentist said I have a cyst of some sort but that that was not the issue. Asked me if I finished the antibiotic and I responded that I never got one. He says, “oh, you should’ve.” After, he went on to say it was either a “stitch that has my gum pissed off or a piece of tooth left in there”. Then he asked me if I was in enough pain that I actually needed him to do anything. Um? Yes? Or I wouldn’t have come back! So, he shoved his fingers in the area that was sore before sticking me with needles. He was rough as ever and clearly annoyed that I came back. After they finished up they sent me out. Never put any gauze in my mouth to get all the blood oozing into my mouth. I got to my car and looked in the mirror only to find that I had dried blood all down my cheek and chin. They couldn’t even take the two seconds to clean me up or even let me clean myself up. Just don’t go. Don’t give them your money, don’t waste your time. Go somewhere that cares. This place doesn’t. It’s a half assed oral surgery assembly line.

Negative experience: AVOID THIS DENTIST AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!! My wife had a terrible experience. When she first went to the initial visit she saw somebody come out who just had had surgery and was clearly not ready to be released. Well shocker the patient had to be brought back in for observation. And still she was released mere minutes later. When I was waiting for my wife (which doesn’t do well with anesthesia) she was rushed out as if she was a burden. They didn’t give her the prescription for an antibiotic that was required showing the carelessness this dentist has towards their patients. My wife went back and they just seemed annoyed that they had to do anything at all. I would travel two hours away before I ever give them another second of our time or penny.

Fantastic experience: I Went Today, On A Saturday At 4:20pm. Just To Let You Know, They Are Open On The Weekends. The Staff Doesn't Know Why Online It Says They Are Closed On Weekends, But They Are Definitely Open. I Went In & Their Service Is Very Professional. I Was Very Nervous & They Made Me Feel Welcome, & Most Importantly, Comfortable. I Had Alyssa & Autumn For Staff, & The Provider Was Sulc. They Have A Great Team Working There. Keep Up The Excellent Work & Keep Being Dope For Being Open On The Weekends ‼️

Negative experience: They over booked my sons appointment and never confirmed with me. I left work early and drove 40 minutes there to be turned away and front staff was rude. Then said they cannot see us for 2 months. Absolutely insane. Will take our buisness elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I had a chipped front tooth that was noticeable. My experience at the Crown Ave location of Smilebuilderz was superb. The technician named Alyssa was excellent! She made me feel comfortable and did a perfect job on fixing my broken tooth. It looks like it never happened. Alyssa made sure to form and polish my teeth with precision. She stated how much she enjoys her work. And from the look of my smile, it shows! Thank you Alyssa for such a great experience!

Fantastic experience: I am very impressed with Dr. Joo. My son had a terrific experience with his wisdom teeth removal and had no swelling and very little pain. I could not even tell where the incisions were. I took my older son to another establishment for his wisdom teeth removal and his face swelled up for a week and the incisions were scary looking like someone used a machete. Dr. Joo did an amazing job!

Positive experience: If you are a patient and have an appointment at a set date and time - why do you need to call back and wait to be the fifth person in line to say that you are aware of the appointment? Reputable businesses have a text message system where you type "C" to confirm and that is all! Get out of the stone age smilebuilderz!

Fantastic experience: I love the children's dental office. However my only complaint is that we were 10 minutes late for her appointment due to having to wait for a parking spot. There parking lot is too small especially when you have 4 different dental businesses all the same company. if you park anywhere else you run the risk of getting towed so the parking lot turns into a parking spot battle. If you ask an employee where you can park without being towed they reply with "I don't know but who's the appointment for I'll let them know so they can save the spot." We got there at 8:43 AM and there weren't parking spots and it was 9:10 am when we got a parking spot and still was late for her appointment at 9:00 am.

Negative experience: U should’ve seen my alveoplasty job they did on my gums after I woke up now I have a bump on my gums that never sunk down thanks smilebuilderz. Now my denture doesn’t suction right to my mouth I have an uneven bridge keystone dental care in chambersburg told me so

Fantastic experience: Every visit has been great! Your staff go above and beyond for us and I’m truly grateful. Today we had a filling done for my child. He was anxious, scared, and overwhelmed. During our visit, he was talked to the entire time. Every step was explained and the process was smooth! She sang silly songs to keep him relaxed and at ease, she was quick but also gentle and efficient! My only concern would be the parking at this location. I’ve had to park across the street for the last few visits because there’s absolutely no parking anywhere. And everything close by is posted no parking. I know this is beyond anyone’s control but again… only a concern.

Fantastic experience: My children are patients at SmileBuilders and SmileBuilders Orthodontics. Both my son and daughter see Dr. Silke who is the best Orthodontist hands down at the Lancaster location. She is exceptional—highly professional, compassionate, and attentive with her patients. Dr. Silke takes the time to clearly explain every step of the treatment process in a way that is easy to understand. The entire team is consistently kind, caring, and engaging. Marina, in particular, has a wonderful rapport with children and helps create a welcoming and comfortable environment. Overall, the team at SmileBuilders is outstanding, and I highly recommend their services.

Fantastic experience: I have never felt more at ease and comfortable for my child's care as I did when I visited smilebuilders. Dr. Skiadas and nurse Suheer were unbelievably wonderful. I fully recommend smilebuilders to anyone with children who are nervous about dentists.

Melvera Dean-Austin 3 months ago

Fantastic experience: Their environmental and staff make you feel comfortable and welcome what all I needed to know about the procedure that will be done, as well as the X-rays. They took the time to explain everything step by step, which made me feel comfortable, knowing what will be done, why my child will be asleep.

Negative experience: went in for an appointment at 8 am, didn't get called in until almost 8:30 but everyone else that had an appointment at 8 got called in right away. i was there since 7:30 am and people were coming in late for their 8 am appointment but still got called in before me ? ridiculous. i got up to leave because i was fed up and as soon as i got up someone rushed out to call me in. not satisfied with my visit at all. felt like discrimination

Positive experience: Improvement needs to be made with scheduling. However, the dental staff did a great job! Stacy, Katie, and Dr. Nassar at Spring Valley Rd are amazing! Thank you so much!

Negative experience: My daughter had all four wisdom teeth removed under anesthesia, and I specifically informed FOUR different staff members—including the dentist—about her history of adverse reactions to anesthesia. Despite this, they released her immediately after the procedure. She was clearly not stable—she was disoriented, experiencing a full-blown panic attack, could barely stand, and they even hit her head while helping her into the car. I had to rush her to the emergency room because she was experiencing chest pain, dangerously high blood pressure and heart rate, and her oxygen levels had dropped into the 80s. Thankfully, the hospital staff took excellent care of her. But this dental office completely failed in their responsibility to monitor her post-op until she was stable. Releasing a patient in that condition was not only careless, it was dangerous. I’m extremely upset, and I hope they take a serious look at how they handle post-anesthesia care—this could have ended so much worse.

Negative experience: This dentist service is very bad. Specially their appointment , they often cancel your appointments, no reason, and frequently delay your appointments without reason. They often do this on purpose.

Negative experience: Worst dentist place ever what a waste of my money they fix my teeth same place 4 time because they never put a bridge in and wasted my time and money don't come here or anything smile builders because they will mass up your teeth

Mom & 2 Boys 4 months ago

Negative experience: Smilebuilderz has gotten too big, with too many patients to take consideration for their patients. I understand missed appointments are grievous to them but I did not need a lecture from the receptionist about writing appointments down, I have a disability that she clearly does not know anything about, that effects my cognitive function. I wanted to reschedule an appointment for my son and they can't see him until November. Its literally May. I don't need anything else from Smilebuilderz and recommend you find an office that's going to care about you and not treat you like another patient that they don't care about. They just want your money.

Fantastic experience: Great experience during my wisdom teeth consultation and extraction. Dental assistants, nurses, and Dr. Ali were all amazing. They explained everything very well and the I am recovering very well. It was performed under general anesthesia on 5/15/25 and got in for surgery within 2 days.

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE. I saw a dentist for my entire life then he retired. At the time, I had crap insurance and this was the only place I could find that was accepting new patients. What a mistake it was. I had a few small cavities that my prior dentist was treating conservatively. They were not worsening so there was no need to fill them. This place took advantage of me by fear mongering and proceeded to hack my mouth apart. Fast forward to now, where I am seeing a competent and legitimate dentist, they are telling me I might have to have the fillings redone because the work is horrible. The fillings are sticking out making it hard to impossible to floss between teeth. I truly believe this place cares more about insurance reimbursements rather than the actual health & well-being of patients. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Fantastic experience: I have been going here for years and had so much dental work and the compassionate care that I get every time is always exceptional! I was so nervous and the Hygienist Candy was so sweet, explained everything to me in great detail, went over everything and answered all my questions beautifully. Dr. Chun made my first few shots almost painless and barely any pain with the whole crown insert! 5 Stars always. Thank you Dr. Chun and Candy for everything!!

Fantastic experience: My first visit after being with my original dentist for 42 years. I was nervous. From the moment I walked in the door, the whole staff I encountered (Rachel, Tracy and Dr Parks) were attentive, thorough, efficient and kind. They did an emergency extraction on my tooth. Perfectly done with professionalism and compassion. It is healing perfectly and I am very thankful to be their new client.

Fantastic experience: When I first went into the office on Thursday April 24th 2025 Celeste was so welcoming and very compassionate and made sure I was comfortable and understood all that was going on. Once Dr Chun came in he explained the treatment plan. I appreciate how he was able to complete my dental work in the matter of days which I appreciated cause I have been getting the run around with multiple appointments from previous dentist I visited and Dr Chun was quick and effective. Now on Sat April 26 I came back in and it was the same but this time I had Kim and she was just as awesome as well !! I am so glad I made the appointment.

Negative experience: I really wish I could give more considering that at the end of the day, I did get results that other dental place didn't get me to. However, this has been a terrible experience overall. The internal communication in Smilebuilderz on Crown Ave is non-existent to absolutely abysmal. From day one on making the appointment to about 4 months later when I get the surgery, every step of the way had to be handheld by me, the patient. Did insurance get the correct information, no. Did I get the refill and prescription filled from the orthodontist, no. On average it took me 2 days and upwards of 5 call to get what the orthodontist from their very practice prescribed to me. I can go really in detail here with more examples and the obscurity of it, but the short of it is this: If you need dental work and are looking for a reliable, well organized, and clear communicating practice that will quell all your doubts and hesitations with appointments and operations, NO NOT expect this here. I would look into alternatives in a heartbeat if available. Especially for the anxious and younger crowds. Nothing is frustrating then being lied to with a smile.

Negative experience: Scheduled an appointment in November of 2024. I received a call yesterday, saying they would have to reschedule my appointment for this coming Tuesday April 15th, 2025. Since I have waited this long, I figured what was another week or so. When calling in to reschedule I was informed that they wouldn’t be able to get me in till December 18th, 2025. Obviously this is unacceptable, and expressed that. I will say the guy who was on the other end was very pleasant and understood my frustration, so props to him. He informed me that they were down a dental assistant and this was the need to reschedule. How was this realized 5 days prior to this appointment? How is it acceptable to move an appointment that YOU had to reschedule 8 months later? I understand being understaffed, however, I would expect some accommodation for the client. I’d have been fine scheduling another month out or even 2 months, but that’s just crazy. Long story short, found another dentist with an appointment in 3 months. I’d save yourself the potential hassle and schedule with another practice.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday had the start of a root canal..No pain..Injections went well..No waiting in office..Staff was super nice. His assistant was very informative ..From everyone who calls you or a front desk is very professional. Thank Dr Chaudari for getting me out of pain!

Negative experience: Would not let me give zero stars. My daughter is a large child and it is difficult at times to find providers due to insurance and other limitations . It took me a year and a half to get this appointment for 6 teeth removal under general anesthesia. The staff is wonderful and very knowledgeable. The oral surgeon, Dr Ali criticized her weight after having difficulty getting an IV placed. While, we are aware of her weight She is under a doctors care,. Getting dental care does not affect her care and n that regards and He isn’t that Doctor. I was able to have a conference call with him about the situation and He was dismissive and disrespectful.IMO , He lacks empathy and should not work around kids with special needs. I have no complaints about the surgical nurses. The office is an assembly line. We waited 1 and 1/2 hours past the scheduled surgery time. Kids are allowed to go home barely awake from anesthesia .Make them wait, slice and dice, out the door. Fortunately, my Daughter is healing well and I no longer have to go there for care. I am more than willing to travel further ithan the 2 hours to that office if it means a better experience.

Negative experience: I had to come here for a root canal. They told me my insurance wouldn’t cover it so I had to pay half upfront to get the work done which ended up being $556. Soon after I got a letter in the mail from my insurance company saying it was covered after all. I’ve now been on the phone with smilebuilderz at least 6 times trying to get my money back but each time I speak to someone they tell me something different and brush me off, “you’ll get it as soon as possible”.

Fantastic experience: The dental hygienist Judy is absolutely wonderful! I’ve never seen someone be so detailed and comforting! If you or your children have the pleasure of having her you will not be disappointed! She took her time explaining everything and answered all questions and then some! What a beautiful soul! Would come back just for her! The girls at the front desk are top notch! So sweet and accommodating! They really go above and beyond for clients!

Negative experience: took my son to this dentist, and after verifying everything with my insurance and approving the procedure, they did an X-ray. After the insurance had already covered everything, the dentist suddenly refused to treat my son and referred him to a pediatric dentist instead. I was never informed beforehand that this might happen, and it felt unfair. If they don’t treat children, they should make that clear before proceeding. I wouldn’t recommend this place due to the lack of transparency and professionalism. The doctor’s name Park be careful guys really be careful for this place. Be sure 100% that this doctor don’t touch your kids or yourself.

Fantastic experience: In my recent trips to Lancaster (PA) to visit my daughter and her family, I developed a toothache and needed to see a dentist on an emergency basis. I searched for nearby dentists who could take out-of-state new patients on an emergency basis. Smilebuilderz name came up and I promptly called their number. I was advised to visit their nearby location on Crown Avenue, Lancaster (PA). When I arrived there, I was very courteously and promptly checked-in by Ms. Rachel (Receptionist). Within no time, and while I filled-out the paperwork, I was called in for X-rays and evaluation. Both Dr. Sulc and her staff (Alyssa) were very professional and performed a very thoroughly evaluation. They made me feel very comfortable throughout the x-raying and examination process. I felt very satisfied with my visit, despite being a walk-in and an out-of-state patient.

Fantastic experience: The work I had done at Smilebuilers on crown avenue by Dr Sulc and Alyssa was quite a blessing. They were sensitive, gentle and capable. Negative experience: They severely burnt the inside of my husbands mouth!! I called them. Waited on hold for 20minutes, only to be told no doctor would speak to us. The call center refused to let us speak with any care provider *at all*. They injured a patient and then hide behind a call call. Completely unprofessional, deplorable treatment of a patient you have obviously harmed. NOT TRUSTWORTHY.

Fantastic experience: I had a single tooth extraction (Lancaster, PA). All went perfectly. It's been 2 weeks and everything healed beautifully. Not sure I even needed the post-op pain meds. Everyone - dentist, assistants, office - was great, including a post-op follow-up call. 'A' rating.

Shaniya Brown 7 months ago

Fantastic experience: I loved it even though I had to wait made long until I was finally called but they were packed and also it was a lot of people who had to get seen, But at least I got two of my teeth extracted. But my appointment was at 2:20pm and I got there before my appointment and didn't get seen until 4:20pm but they were back up and they also had one oral surgeon to do the teeth extract. But I do love this place overall, but hopefully, I can get my braces for my teeth.

Drunk Aliens 7 months ago

Negative experience: They refuse to take any accountability on their end for double scheduling me, calling me a few days before the appointment to cancel a day, and failing to tell me a month in advance that someone has to stay for a whole possible 3 hours when i was only told in person that someone has to pick me up. I call on the day of my appointment and cancel because i was confused which day so i get a missed appointment flag. They refuse to take any accountability for their mess up but want to expect perfection from their clients. They didnt care if i continued choosing them or not!

Positive experience: Not a very good experience from a parent's perspective. I understand the lack of room in the room so I couldn't stay with my daughter however, I never even saw the dentist's face. Also, nothing was explained tome after the procedure. I was given a paper with the aftercare instructions and told to make an appointment. The front desk person was the one that explained to me that there was an extra step left to the root canal my child just had and what it entails. I am very happy with the Ephrata office but this is my second visit to this office and had bad experiences both times. Hopefully we don't have to retuen.

I told Alyssa of my anxiety and she was very affirming with her words and kept me updated on each action that was being done. Dr Chun was very gentle and quick and even though I truly was ok, I had tears in my eyes because of my anxiety. Alyssa offered me a tissue. She was very attentive and calming. I am very grateful to have a good experience in this office.

She was patient, understanding, and truly cared about making me happy with my smile. I’m so grateful for her help and couldn’t be happier with the results. Thank you, Alyssa!

Fantastic experience: I am one week post op from having all 4 wisdom teeth extracted. I had a very pleasant experience. They were running behind, but that was already expected as it was in the instruction packet that was given. Everyone was very kind. Meg was awesome. She kept me calm and made sure that I was comfortable. Yes, they are quick about getting you out after surgery but they do make sure that you are safe and you get to where you need to be. I have had very minimal pain. I have not needed to take any of the pain medications that were given; however, I know that everybody’s experience and pain level will be different. The post op instructions are very clear and I believe that is what has made my post op recovery very successful. Overall, I had a great experience!

Positive experience: My daughter had all 4 of her wisdom teeth removed. I think they did a good job on the extraction, but they sent her home before the anesthesia wore off. She couldn't even hold up her own head, let alone walk, and they told me I was in charge of keeping her awake for 10 minutes after they loaded her into my car. I think giving her a few more minutes to come out of it before sending her home with gauze hanging out of her mouth would be much more appropriate.

Fantastic experience: I started coming here after covid and by far the most professional dental facility I have seen in 50 plus years. Staff friendly, and always asking how you are doing. Never force extra services and recommend exactly what you need. Thank you for being the best !

Negative experience: I was forced to take a PAN Xray just 2 weeks after having one done, regardless of the fact that it should only be done every 5 years, all because the staff was too incompetent to find or open the digital file sent over by my general dentist. Or maybe because company policy dictated they do so in order to include the cost of my "free" x-ray into my oral surgery. Not sure. Consuming 10 years' worth of radiation in 2 weeks was not on my to-do list. Furthermore, you have assistants trying to sell me thousands of dollars worth of treatment, surgery, and anesthesia with no actual doctor present. I have preexisting medical issues, and they were unable to answer legitimate questions. Not having a surgeon present when giving a surgical consult is astonishing behavior. Then to be told I am not able to be put to sleep for my procedure after being forced to take a PAN that I had just had done on the 14th by my general Dr... I was exposed to unnecessary radiation for nothing! Anyone who is radiation certified knows that limiting the patients exposure should be a top priority. Not company policy. This bureaucracy over patient care in a health care facility is insane. Patient well-being should come first. I have no desire to ever return to your facilities. I have insurance, and I will be going to my general dentist to PAY out of pocket to have 5 teeth pulled instead of letting your company ever touch my teeth again. After this experience and having multiple fillings fail previously, I would recommend your offices to absolutely no one and will tell everyone I can to avoid your practice at All Cost. Your predatory policy and sub human level of care is despicable. I hope your patients realize the monopoly they're trapped in with state insurance, and a solution is found for all their sakes. I'd rather pull my teeth out with pliers than be seen at your office

Fantastic experience: Yesterday we saw Provider Chun and Alyssa. They were fantastic for my daughter's first filling. She hadn't had a filling before and one was just starting to form so they wanted to take care of it. It was a quick process. My daughter never saw the needle coming. She has severe anxiety and hates needles, but she was comfortable and relaxed the whole procedure. I can't thank them enough for the amount of time and care they put into making this process seamless, quick, and comfortable for her!

Fantastic experience: My daughters and I have been going to Smilebuilderz for several years now. My, now, 6 year old goes to the pediatric dentist at the Crown Ave location. She had a rough time wanting to open her mouth or anything at her last visit last year because she was going through a phase as many kids do. We prepped and talked before going to her visit today and she was excited to go. Elisha was fantastic with her! She made my daughter (and me) feel at ease. She was understanding about my not wanting to try xrays before the cleaning. Dr. Mensah was fabulous as well! She was kind and gentle with my daughter and explained everything in a way my daughter would understand. She also remembered the challenges from my daughter's last visit and was very understanding. The ladies got my daughter to do the xrays with no issues and actually got her to be excited about it! Hands down best experience there so far, though everyone has always been very kind in general. Jill at the front was awesome as well! There was an issue with my insurance and she went out her of way days prior to have someone reach out and explain it to me. Thank you so much to everyone today!

Fantastic experience: Today I needed an emergency extraction and went to Smilebuilders on Crown Ave. Autumn was very kind during my check in. Alyssa was very caring and attentive to my situation and her along with Dr. Chun made the experience one I had not one reservation about. Thank you everyone.

Negative experience: I had wisdom tooth surgery for 2 teeth and one of which is impacted 1/31/2025. I was told after I leave my oral surgery that I will have 2 prescriptions waiting at my preferred pharmacy to help with the pain. Before leaving I asked again if I can go straight to my pharmacy and I was told yes. I go the pharmacy and the office did not send my scripts. I called the office at 4 to ask if they have send my scripts and the person on the phone said the office is closed when it had not yet closed (closes at 5) and told me to wait 2-3 hours that e-script is delayed. I asked did you send it to the correct pharmacy and she shared with me the accurate location that was agreed upon at the office. I do wait until next morning today 02/01/2025 after not getting any medication for the pain I am in. I checked with my pharmacy again, and they still do not get my scripts. I called the after hours line to speak with the doctor on call and the line got hung up on me and would not let me leave a voice mail. As a patient who had surgery and offices are aware patients will be in pain this beyond unacceptable

Fantastic experience: I would recommend this office to anyone needing their services. They are super quick to get you on the schedule, see you, and perform any procedures necessary. I work in the medical field myself and everyone I encountered here was fantastic and kind. :) you have multiple opportunities to ask any questions that arise. They are very thorough and professional!

Negative experience: I received a phone call today at 7:45am stating my appointment was canceled today scheduled for 9am. I was then told the next appointment was in the Summer! Today is 1/30/25. How are you going to make me wait half a year after canceling my appointment only 1 1/4 hours before my scheduled appointment, that was also scheduled half a year away? Horrible

Fantastic experience: I came to them from aspen dental because I went into aspen asking if they could yank a tooth out that day due to the immense pain it was causing. I had an original appointment with aspen for a root canal but had to wait due to my insurance, and once my insurance was set, aspens scheduleing was just too spaced apart. They told me I would have to wait and that wasn’t happening. I went over to smilebuilderz and I asked them, they got me with a dentist in less than 10 minutes and not only offered me treatment. But they told me they could do the root canal that day. I have been having many problems with aspen and smilebuilderz is continuing to prove the best dentist around. I should have came here years ago.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Smilebuilderz run like a well oiled machine, from check in thru my surgery, what a wonderful experience. Dr. Smith was wonderful as well. We chatted prior to me going under. Overall, 5 star experience. Thank you!

Positive experience: I was thankful we could get in so quickly. The employee who took care of us was very efficient, thorough, and kind. I couldn't understand why she took new x-rays rather than use the ones we had taken one week ago. I was disappointed we didn't see an oral surgeon and didn't have the extractions yesterday. They should have told me when I set up initial appointment. Also was disappointed we have to wait a couple of weeks before we schedule the extraction appointment. I will be very disappointed if we must take a third trip to office to finish this up. Had to drive one hour to office and another to return home.

Positive experience: I had a good experience. The doctor and assistant were very nice and the receptionist were very nice. They did tell me that they were going to call in some prescriptions but, my pharmacy never got them. I called and the person who took my car, Nicole, Was extremely helpful in trying to figure out why the prescriptions were not called in or where they were. Unfortunately, even though she tried very hard, we could not find what happened with the prescriptions. That is the reason I gave an 4 instead of a 5. I work tomorrow and now I will not be able to get my prescriptions or start on my antibiotics until tomorrow evening because this was not worked out today. Thank you Nicole for trying

Negative experience: This place should not be considered a urgent care!!!! This is a normal dentist office that just try’s to fit people in when there’s cancelations like any other dental office!!! For the amount of pain and discomfort and symptoms no one took my matter as urgent. No one ever checked on me actually it was like the staff purposely tryed to not look at me or interact. It felt a bit inhumane to let someone sit there for 4 hours in the pain I was in,at times hyperventilating and in such agony. It crossed my mind at times that maybe a compress or even a human just telling me it would be ok would have been nice. Or maybe suggest a er??? My visit with the Dr. went swift and she was thorough. I made sure to tell her that Advil was NOT working I would need somthing else. I wasn’t looking for a narcotic but just anything a little different then Advil that would help.well in the chaos I got to the pharmacy just to see she prescribed Advil!!! Fast forward to last night I woke up so many times in the same pain that I was trying so hard to control by seeing this Dr and being prescribed ANYTHING BUT ADVIL. I contemplated going to the ER for new pain management control. That pain seemed like it could have been avoided last night or at least controlled better if the DR just listened to me!!!! I am not happy about any of this expirence.

Fantastic experience: i went in for my wisdom teeth being taken out but everyone in there is so nice and helpful yes i will say it does get alot of people and sometimes it would get overwhelming but they do good jobs i asked for music when the iv came and they wanted to know what music i want to listen to which was very nice of them to do. my main "problem" is the amount of people i wouldnt consider it a problem but should be sure to leave 1 to 3 hours clear on ur schedule when u come here.

Fantastic experience: I had caps done by Dr Parks. I wanted to commend her dental tech and also her husband's dental tech, Candy. They are very informative and compassionate. They are very well trained in their job and make sure a patient is comfortable. Very happy with my experience. I just had a cleaning and a ck done today. The dental Hygenic did a great job. She was very professional and friendly. The Dr who did my check up answered all my questions. It was a good experience.

Fantastic experience: My dentist Dr. Delisa Williams started at Smilebuilderz. I followed her b/c of the care and attention she always gave me and understands my GAD. Where she goes I go. I'm not talking cleanings I'm talking work. She's done 3 fillings, 3 extractions, 2 apicoectomy (with another 1 pending) 2 obturations (with another 1 pending) 1 crown and another 2 pending. I'm also exposed to the rest of the Smilebuilderz team. George one of the owners stopped in to talk with me today and Dr. Aby Malyil performed the cleaning and shaping of a yooth root canal (with another 1 pending) both gentlemen are down to earth and explain explains everything in detail. As mentioned I have GAD and the entire staff really makes me feel 'm in environment with people that care. I'm on track to have an implant done and I trust Smilebuilderz will do that right too. MY ADVISE... DON'T FIGHT, IF YOU HIT HARD THINGS WITH YOUR FACE WEAR A GUARD BUT IF YOU DON'T SMILEBUILDERZ WILL FIX YOU RIGHT UP.

Negative experience: Anesthetic surgery to extract 17 teeth. Wasn't a bad experience. Well, nothing to really experience period. But pain afterwards. It was very noticable, but not crazy unbearable. After taking two naps the pain lessened to plain discomfort. Two seconds after coming to, they rushed me out of there so fast I could barely process what was happening. Felt like an assembly line process. Makes sense when most of their payments come from government insurance. It's about the numbers. Get 'em done and get 'em out.

Negative experience: Appointment was for 8am for a consultation. Was told to arrive 20 mins early. It's now 10am and receptionist told me she don't know how much longer I'll have to wait. Sat here over 2.5 hours for not even a 10 min Appointment for my kid.

Fantastic experience: the specialist and the assistant who worked on me were so kind and emotionally supportive because I am a traumatized mess at the dentist. The specialist knew I have trouble getting numb, so she did a lot to make sure I was numb and was reassuring throughout even though I was emotional and full of anxiety. It was awful, but I got through it because they were so very caring with me.

Fantastic experience: We have been working with Smilebuilderz Orthodontics for the past year for both of my daughters. They have been so kind, understanding, and helpful with any questions or issues we have had. One time we ended up visiting the office 3 times in a week, due to my daughter's sensetivity to anything being in her mouth, and her braces really bugging her. Maureena was an absolute angel with my daughter and handled our situation so gently and patiently, spending extra time with us to make sure everything was "just right" before we left. So huge shout out to Maureena and the rest of the wonderful staff at Smilebuilderz for the excellent level of care and attention they give to their patients!

Fantastic experience: I had a root canal with Smilebuilderz. Took less than 30 min. No pain during or after and very professional staff. They even have my preferred music playing when I walk in to the room. Attention to detail is great. The best is I always know what I will be paying before my appointment and plenty of reminders of my appointment.

Negative experience: Not too bad. Had to drive 35 minutes just to answer the same questions to already answered online plus paper forms with the same questions and for the dentist to take a one minute look at my tooth Now I have to wait possibly 2 weeks for an approval from my insurance. Then who knows how long for an appointment. The assistant was nice. The oral surgeon wasn’t exactly friendly but not bad either. He could’ve ant least introduced himself when he came in. The building is hard to find if you’re not familiar with the area. a week went by so I called this office again. I did not need a prior authorization and now I can’t get back in for another month. Then they need to inform patients of these situations maybe I wouldn’t have to wait a whole another month. They call a week before my appointment for an extraction and say this dr doesn’t take your insurance. I end up waiting 2 months. I go there today. Waited over an hour for my appointment. No apology. When I asked how long it was going to be. The girl says oh because you’ll be awake you don’t get the text about being here 2 hours. They rushed my extraction. Dr didn’t care that I was signaling from pain Which I what I was told to do. Literally pushing my head off the chair. Saying hold your head up Horrible, stay away. NO TAKE HOME GAUZE. No written after care. If you’re on Medicaid I guess these drs care less about your pain. Just another number. Never again. Advil does NOT HELP

Negative experience: So i had waited a few months to get impacted wisdom teeth out. I had to get all 4 out or it could have lead to worsening issues. The nice thing is they were able to get me in quickly. Opted for heavy sedation as im anxiety prone. And everyone was friendly and nice. I should have read the post op instructions better. But they told me right away j can use salt water. This resultsd in the worst pain ive ever had in my life. I have UC AND A CHILD. I was screaming and crying in agony so bad.the pain was a 15/10 if that was on a pain scale. I had to get roxicodone and lidocaine and toradol. Then the continued to prescribe me roxicodone and lidocaine. Im sorry but for getting all 4 teeth out in one day that were previously impacted a magic mouth wash and tylenol/ibuprofwn doesnt help for most. In fact the ER lady was appalled by the fact they didnt even prescribe anything stronger. When everyone else gets pain meds and im stuck with otc. I wont be coming back her for procedures in the future. Because this just lead to really really bad outcomes

Positive experience: Professional folks. Would appreciate if they would follow up about a prior auth I was promised. Also wish they had more pillow budget options. $2k a tooth is despicable. Having said that, my dentist was awesome. His bedside manner is the best of any healthcare professional I’ve encountered, and I will return.
