Negative experience: I like some of the other reviews; also was told that there would be no charge for my dental visit, and my insurance was confirmed by their office and not to worry. When I was leaving the office after my visit I was once again told there would be no charge that my insurance covered everything. Then I received an invoice in the mail for my visit a few months later. I called the office and spoke to a Nicole, omg how nasty she was to me, and told me that the office had made a mistake and because of their mistake I am responsible for payment because I should know my own benefits!! When I told her that the office should be accountable for their mistakes and I would no longer be a patient due to this, I was told they do not need patients like me who don’t know what their insurance benefits are. I have never been treat so rudely in my life before, now I am finding out billing issues and these bait and switch tactics are widely used throughout all the office locations. Now I have found out that the practice is offering incentive for adding positive reviews to offset all of the negative reviews, unbelievable !!

Fantastic experience: It was my first time to get my dental cleaning at Chandler Dental. Sorry I forgot my hygienist’s name but she was very informative and speedy at her job and excellent! Dr. Saunders was as usual very kind and knowledgeable

Negative experience: I had some major billing issues as a patient here. Prior to scheduling my appointment I spoke with a young man at the office who confirmed that he ran my insurance and the services were covered. Well the young man did not tell the truth nor ran my insurance ( he did not do the job he was supposed to do but lied and said he did ) Due to this error by Chandler Dental, I was given a bill. I explained the situation and it was also confirmed by the office, that this invoice was due to an error by Chandler dental. The office collects any payments after the visit and also told me I owed nothing based on what they were told. I spoke with the Office Manager, who did not take accountability for their error nor was sympathetic to my concerns. She actually stated that it didn’t matter if they lose me as a patient for a $146.00 charge, was quoted would be $0.00; on recorded conversation. I am disabled and make very little money due to my disability and she knew this, but showed no empathy toward the situation !! Then it got worse I had the unfortunate chance meeting with the young lady Alexis at the front desk has also acted unprofessionally solidifying the complete lack of moral compass and ethical business practices of this practice. She was very condescending and rude, I will not be coming back as a patient. Nicole the office manager is even worse, she used foul language and is the first person I have ever met that lacks any common sense. Her actions will cause this dental office to lose a nominal amount of patients and subsequent monetary losses. This is the new world we live in of sheer ignorance and lack of accountability and respect, Liberal / Wokism. Funny thing is medical or dental bills under $500.00 no longer affect your credit scores. Of course I pay all of my medical bills that I am responsible for. I do have a moral and ethical Compass; something that this practice unfortunately has not shown in handling this matter in a professional fashion. ANYONE THAT HAD A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE SHOULD TAKE THE TIME TO READ BELOW BEFORE YOU PAY YOUR BILL !! YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY ANY BILL UNDER $500.00 KNOW YOUR RIGHTS. JAN 07, 2025 WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) finalized a rule that will remove an estimated $49 billion in medical bills from the credit reports of about 15 million Americans. The CFPB’s action will ban the inclusion of medical bills on credit reports used by lenders and prohibit lenders from using medical information in their lending decisions. The rule will increase privacy protections and prevent debt collectors from using the credit reporting system to coerce people to pay bills they don’t owe. The CFPB has found that medical debts provide little predictive value to lenders about borrowers’ ability to repay other debts, and consumers frequently report receiving inaccurate bills or being asked to pay bills that should have been covered by insurance or financial assistance programs. The CFPB’s action follows changes made by the three nationwide credit reporting conglomerates – Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion – who announced that they would take certain types of medical debt off of credit reports, including collections under $500, after the CFPB raised concerns about medical debt credit reporting in early 2022. Additionally, FICO and VantageScore, the two major credit scoring companies, announced they have decreased the degree to which medical bills impact a consumer’s score.

Fantastic experience: My dental office closed their Chandler location so I was looking for somewhere close to home. I decided to try this place based off the great reviews. I was surprised at how quickly they were able to get me in for a cleaning. When I got there I got a tour which was a first. I even got a new patient goody bag. My hygienist Nichole did a great job communicating what she was doing, she was sweet, personable, and even offered me a blanket because it gets chilly in there. Everyone sounded and looked like they were happy to be there. So far I highly recommend them. Thanks!

Fantastic experience: Had to get a tooth pulled due to pain and looked up dentist around the area and read good reviews from here. I called and they had an opening same day. They were able to get me in and the tooth pulled and out pretty quickly. Definitely will be coming back.

Fantastic experience: 2025 update; 5 years in and I have gotten a bit of work done and have even more planned. They have been fantastic and I am still very happy here! All the work they’ve done has been fantastic and I recommend them to everyone. Every time there is work to be done they spend a lot of time answering my questions and indulging my curiosity. We’ve also talked about all kinds of things from Botox for teeth grinding to teeth whitening and they’re always so full of knowledge without being pushy and I really appreciate that. ————————————————- I've been going here for almost two years now and they have been wonderful. When I moved to this part of the valley, I was sad to have to leave my dentist I had been going to for so many years. I did my research and it seemed like this was a great pick and im so glad I picked it. First, i never wait very long and that is such a wonderful thing. They have a big staff and all of them are so knowledgeable and helpful. I've had some work done here and am very happy with the results and the follow up they provide. I've had them call me just to check up and see how I was feeling a couple hours and a couple days after, I don't know if this is normal but it felt wonderful to know they were right there to support me. I have also had great luck getting in when I thought I had cracked a filling. Luckily I didn't but they were quick to get me in and make sure I left more comfortable than when I came in. This is also the first office I've been to where they have TVs on the ceiling and while it may seem childish...when you're having your teeth worked on, a familiar distraction can be nice. I highly recommend this office if you're looking for a new dentist or you're just looking for a second opinion from another office. I have had nothing but transparency and honesty from everyone at this office and I hope to come here for many years to come.

I really appreciate how thorough he is—he was able to catch two potential cavities early before they turned into something more serious. When it came time to fill my teeth, he did it professionally and with great care—the work was super smooth and comfortable. I’ve also had the same great experience with Dr. Amor in the past—both doctors are excellent and I highly recommend this practice!

Fantastic experience: I have been going here for over 10 years now and every visit is fantastic. They are quick but thorough, extremely friendly and organized. I had bad pain this morning and they were able to get me in the same day, were understanding when I was a little late because my car wouldn't start, and the doctor and hygienist were helpful in getting my stress down. Above all, the dental hygienists and assistants are patient and nice - even if you don't floss as much as you should :-) If you're looking to get back on track or just keep your pearly whites in tip-top condition, this is the place to go. I've been a patient for over two years and never had a complaint.

I had a wonderful experience despite having a root canal, but she was very efficient and did it as quickly as possible. She made sure I was comfortable and kept asking questions to see if I was OK. Fantastic experience: Chandler Dental on Dobson/Frye is very friendly dental clinic and puts customer first. My wife and I have been patients here for many years. We rarely have to wait more than 10 minutes for our appointment. We had our dental cleaning this week with Mattie. The room was so cold; Mattie brought us blankets to keep us warm. Mattie is a good dental hygienist and attentive to patients. Thank you, and keep up with the good customer service!

Fantastic experience: my far back tooth cracked and my nerve was exposed which was causing extreme pain so i called Chandler Dental and they were hands down the best dentist office i have ever been to. They got me in the same day and were able to pull it out all within 30 min. The staff is so nice and the dr was amazing!!

Positive experience: Dr Cefalo is very good. The staff is great I bit on a hard corn nugget and a portion of my tooth fell out. That tooth has a big filling. The doc wanted to do a crown. I have one and don’t like it. He went with a big filling and did a great job

Fantastic experience: First impressions ... Wow. I was taken on a tour, explaining their labs and services. The dental assistant amazing, fun conversation with her while she was delicately taking x-rays AND photos of all teeth with a tiny camera. Then the Dentist, Dr. Saunders, remarkable at explaining and carefully addressing all of my questions. The best part for me (based on poor past experiences with other dentists in other areas of Greater Phoenix) was not feeling like it was a sales pitch -- meaning he reviewed x-rays, photos, and explored my teeth noting ones to keep an eye on and check if any changes upon my next visit. I actually had one dentist tell me "oh you have five cavities" -- here at Chandler Dental? "you have one we really should consider taking care of as soon as you can schedule." Found my forever dental office!

Fantastic experience: Chandler Dental IS the BEST dental practice I’ve have the pleasure to do business with. Gloria and Juan are great hygienist! Dr. Saunders is very honest, professional, and highly skilled Dentist! One of the greatest things about this practice is that they don’t make recommendations for unnecessary procedures. They do such good business, that they don’t have to use these tactics to drive business. They are great for implants as well.

Fantastic experience: I have been to MANY Dentist’s in my life. Dr Saunders is honestly the best I have ever met. He is kind, gentle, and understanding in every way. If you’re looking for a new dentist just stop now and ask for him. I promise you that you will be happy with both the work performed and the cleanliness off the modern office. I have a combination of implants, bridges, and crowns and the office is able to accommodate all my needs. They are so friendly and the office just has a calm feel. Thank you all for making my visits comfortable annd exceeding my expectations for over 4 years now.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Amor was very kind and caring and listened to the problems that I’ve been having with an old filling. She spent a lot of time talking with me and really paid attention to my teeth and my concerns. My cleaning with Nicole was also a great experience. She was extremely thorough but also considerate of the cold sensitivity I’ve been having. She was very detailed with everything concerning my oral health and I had a great experience overall.

Fantastic experience: Amazing dental office! Moved from Montana and have had the same dentist forever. Changing dentists didn’t sit well with me at all. I tried out another dental place in Phoenix and absolutely hated it! A friend told me about Chandler Dental and I’m beyond thankful. They got me in fast and everyone was so kind, definitely the younger gal at the front desk. The dentist himself was great and made sure I understood everything. I will definitely be using them going forward.

He and staff are great - my records were purchased with the book of business when the previous dentist, who wore really bizarre scrub pants - ok I'm getting off track here...anyway service has always been responsive, respectful and competent. If I make a request they accommodate. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I’m the high anxiety, Avoid the dentist, Or any place that might cost me all of my limbs and the last bit of my sanity….. BUT, this place, THIS PLACE, has restored my faith in all that is right in this world. I went in an absolute wreck, fearing the worst, and through each, and every person I encountered, I was comforted and cared for. When I acknowledged that finances were the biggest fear; they were willing to work around my budget and made sure that I was treated within my financial means. I’m beyond grateful for this staff. Every single person here, has a bedside manner that makes you feel as though they do this for the greater good and not a paycheck. No matter what you’re looking for when it comes to a dentist you’re going to find it here!
