Fantastic experience: I want to preface this by saying that I absolutely HATE going to the dentist but my husband makes me go That being said, Hannah is the best dental hygienist I have ever had. She is very careful and gentle while doing my cleanings and thoroughly explains everything she is doing. I still don’t enjoy going to the dentist but Hannah makes me feel much more comfortable! Dr Gekht is great too, but since I spend the majority of my time there with Hannah, I wanted to recognize her for her great service! Edit: I saw Dr Mac today to redo a filling and he was great! Hannah was fantastic as usual for my cleaning!

Fantastic experience: Since the moment I walked in, everybody was very nice and helpful. In the room they worked with me and they explained everything very well. They helped me with all they could to get the treatment I needed and they were very kind and comprehensive! Thank you for all your work!

Fantastic experience: People here are so lovely! The front desk was very nice there was barely any wait time I got tooken care of almost as soon as I came in. Everybody who took care of me was so nice they let you play music while you’re getting a cleaning! Place is overall very clean I would recommend.

LOVE HIM !, Ally has a smile and personality that could light up a room ! Sherry is very polite, funny, sweet and precise when assisting patients at front desk. The Dental Hygentist- Leanne cleaned my teeth gently and with ease, I felt like I was at a dental spa, all I needed was someone to give me a pedicure and a manicure to make it complete. To sum it all up...I just love, love, love this office. I would recommend this office 100/100.

Fantastic experience: Corey is a great hygienist. She is professional and fun to talk with. Both dentists are great and they really care about their clients. The office staff are wonderful. They are an asset to this practice. Dr. Rivera is the dentist that I see the most. I find her to be very professional, dedicated, and she’s a perfectionist. You definitely want to have a perfectionist as your dentist. ❤️ Also want to mention the practice staff. I’ve dealt with Carmen quite a bit and she’s super nice. I have to say that the office staff at this place is one of the best I’ve ever seen in terms of customer service. Update: Great cleaning with Hannah today. She is very kind and gentle and specializes in patient that have stress around going to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding quality! I live in NYC, where I had an excellent dentist for many years, but after taking my elderly father (Sarasota resident) for dental treatment with Dr Gekht, I decided to transfer my care to her in Sarasota. My husband was so impressed that he decided to transfer to Dr Gekht as well, and he has a lot of problems, including need for root canals, implants, and crowns. (Dr Gekht also gives great referrals). We visit Sarasota regularly and always allow time to include our checkups or treatment. My husband is thrilled with his care, and blown away by the cost savings. Today, I had full X-rays, dental cleaning, and fluoride treatment for less than the price of a cleaning in NYC. The staff is outstanding. The office has recently expanded with everything new. I never feel pressured for unnecessary cosmetic treatment, and Dr Gekht has superb clinical judgment. Also, Dr Gekht solved a problem with a molar tooth that my NY dentist (prosthodontist) was unable to address, and for that I will be forever grateful. I guess I can say that she is the best dentist I have ever had, and I’ve had some great dentists. My previous rave review was posted years ago, so this is a current update on the continued exceptional and comprehensive care that Dr Gekht provides. I am still in awe of her extraordinary skill, comprehensive approach, availability during emergencies, common sense, and reasonable fees. She has great staff and recruits the most qualified colleagues. Dr. Gekht has proved herself as the best for many years and she remains at the top of her game, always a little ahead of everything. Forever grateful ! Thank you !

She gave me excellent advice from the very beginning and helped me all the way through to the very end. Very mindful, personable and professional. I was so relieved to find Simply Smiles as my second opinion, and they reassured me that my teeth were in good shape. I highly recommend Simply Smiles for anyone looking for top-quality dental care. Negative experience: After reading the other one star reviews I feel so validated! BEWARE- I had the exact same experience of being scammed, saying $$$ work was necessary that wasn't at all! I’m really diligent about brushing/flossing and get 2-3 cleanings per year. I’ve never had an issue with my teeth. When they measured my gums its was the most painful experience I’ve ever had, they were shoving the instrument so deep and my gums were bleeding. They told me I had major gum recession and signs of periodontal disease, needed an antibiotic and a deep clean/descale. I had just had my teeth cleaned 5 months prior with zero issue and have never had more than a "3" on my teeth. I thanked them but asked if they would just do the regular cleaning... to which they refused and said I had to have the extremely expensive cleaning/treatments etc. or nothing at all. I had a really uneasy feeling about what they were claiming, so I went with my gut and declined their deep clean and left (feeling so anxious about how my gums could possibly be in that shape). I immediately called my other regular dentist I had seen 5 months prior and they said it would be extremely odd for this to be true considering what they saw and urged me to get a second opinion. Thank goodness I was able to get into another dentist (Tarpon shores is the best!!!). I explained the experience to their dentist and that I was really worried about my gums. He took almost an hour taking photos, X-rays, etc. and then showing me/explaining how everything was not only normal but extremely healthy. I didn’t have any of the problems simply smiles claimed I did and did not need a single treatment they claimed I did. Also, when he examined my gums there was no blood or pain because they weren't forcing the instrument as deep as possible to try to get a faulty diagnoses of periodontal issues. I’m sooo glad I didn’t believe them and was able to find an honest dentist!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this office. So professional and caring. Hannah is an excellent hygienist that takes the time to explain exactly what is going on with your teeth and explains everything she is doing while she is cleaning your teeth. She is also gentle. I would highly recommend this office and ask for Hannah if you are getting a cleaning. Dr. Kira is also great as well. I had a tooth emergency where my root canal failed. They saw me right away. Coming from California where health care is twice the price and less service. I couldn’t be more satisfied.

Fantastic experience: When i went for my cleaning I had found out that Jesse who was my previous hygienist had moved she was wonderful and Hannah would be my new hygienist and omg is she amazing! Fantastic experience: Again, the entire staff treated me like a close friend. They bent over backwards to accommodate my accidental late arrival, and gave me the same painless and precision cleaning as always, carefully monitoring my progress in my last 6 months of brushing and flossing. Hannah is young but is so competent and knowledgable that if I couldn’t see her fresh, young face, I would think she had 30 years of experience.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing staff at Simply Smiles and I adore Dr. Gekht! When you walk in the door or call, you are greeted by caring and kind people who help you with your entire process. They explain in detail the dental process of your work, create a plan, explain benefits and work with you on payments if needed. Dr. Gekht was recommended by my children’s well known area pediatric dentists due to my aversion and stress over dentists. She has proven to be kind, compassionate, understanding, incredibly personable and excellent at easing the stress of the situation and being very creative in helping me accomplish my dental goals. I have had extensive dental work, to include dental surgery and she is outstanding in every area- making you feel at ease, creating goals I can handle based on my dental stress level, and recommending area dental specialists who are experts in their craft and will act in the same understanding and compassionate ways as she does. Additionally, Dr. Gekht is fantastic at being creative in difficult dental situations. For all of these reasons, I would highly recommend Dr. Gekht and her team at Simply Smiles to anyone with any level of dental need.

Fantastic experience: Carmen, Chloe, and Dr. Mac were all so wonderful!! I am someone who is always so nervous about going to the dentist and everyone was so kind, patient, gentle, and made me feel so comfortable!! Highly recommend this dentist office!!

Fantastic experience: This was my first time at the dentist in 3 years as I have a bit of anxiety. The office is really clean and pretty inside. I hardly waited at all and was 15 minutes early for my appointment. The dental assistant Arina was super kind and attentive. and the dentist, Dr.Hoang was the best dentist I’ve ever had an experience with. She explained everything to me very calmly and always made sure I was ok with everything that was going on. I had a filling fall out and they were able to do a new patient a exam and replace my filling. A 3 year dental Hiatus means I have quite a bit of work to do. The insurance/treatment coordinator took the time to explain the payment breakdowns of everything on my treatment plan and made it feel much less daunting. I highly recommend this place and they have a new loyal patient in me.
