Fantastic experience: If you are looking for an amazing dentist this is the place! The staff is amazing and the Doctors are top of the line. I will never ever take my kids anywhere else. For kids, sometimes going to the dentist can be a little nerve-wracking but this dentist office sure makes the kids feel comfortable no matter what the situation they are dealing with. Thank you for taking such great care of our kids and their teeth! Update: Years later and we won't go anywhere else.....hahah until we have too! Dr.C is amazing! Hands down thee best! The staff are always super nice as well! Thank you for taking care of us for so long! My kids are so comfortable here at your office.

Negative experience: The lobby and the restroom had unpleasant smells! The receptionist told us that we had a bill that we owed but they never sent us a bill in the last 6 months! She even said that my children couldn’t be seen for their cleaning appointment if I didn’t pay the bill! So we had no choice but to pay for it. Why didn’t they tell us about it at the time of appointment scheduling? The dentist didn’t really take his time to look my kids’ teeth. We had expected that he would take longer than 5 seconds to look at them, so nothing would be missed!

Fantastic experience: The staff was absolutely amazing and made me and my little son feel very welcome. They had a really fun super hero themed office and made it a fun experience for him. I would recommend them to anyone for sure!!

Fantastic experience: I love this dental office! I took my 16 month old daughter here for her first dental exam of her life, and the whole experience was excellent. They had toys and movies playing in the lobby to keep her occupied, the staff was incredibly friendly and warm, and we got a toy at the end to make a positive association with the experience. If you’re looking for a pediatric dentist office this is the place!

Fantastic experience: Great first ever visit to the dentist for my 22 month old. We’re happy to have found a great pediatric dentist on the first try! Adding now that we’ve had a second visit with Dr. Goyne and my almost 3 year old absolutely loved her! She was so kind and gentle and had him giggling while checking his teeth! Amazing!

Fantastic experience: My kids were a little nervous but they put them all at ease and made the experience so enjoyable that they want to go back tomorrow… Dr Christensen was very kind, engaging and explained everything thoroughly. Very comfortable and happy at this location and will stay as long as Dr Christensen is there!

Negative experience: Every visit was a fight with billing. Latest was a charge from 18 months ago with another story blaming the insurance. They do services like x-rays that cost outside what the insurance covers even though we ask every time to only do what is covered. This latest issue is now 18 months old and when we ask for a bill and not just an email or a letter we get a statement of every service provided which is no help. The dentist is fine but the headache with billing has been horrible. Not worth the pain of the office to see a mediocre dentist.

Fantastic experience: This dentistry got me in same day after a dental emergency for my 18 month old. The staff was professional, kind and very knowledgeable about chipped baby teeth. The front desk lady- Savannah I think was her name- was extra kind and very sensitive to an emotional mom who had a hard morning! Definitely recommend sending your babies here to be taken care of.

Fantastic experience: The burg children dentistry is a wonderful place they make everything easier and Katelyn was a wonderful helper she was so nice and kind in the waiting room they have toys for the kids while you talk to the receptionist

Fantastic experience: This place is very accommodating and it always has been. Tell you upfront what the prices are and if you don’t want to do certain things they don’t pressure you and they work very well with my kids my 5 year old and my 2 year old

Fantastic experience: The dentist and staff are awesome. They work well with George, a teenager on the spectrum. Katelyn was especially kind as George was scared and felt nauseous. Everyone was professional and extremely kind. We sympathize with the dentist and his 16 year old dog ready to pass. Everyone there are good people. We appreciate you all.

Fantastic experience: The staff was so helpful and patient with my 13 month old! And Dr. Kurt was awesome. He gave clear explanations and recommendations that made sense.

Negative experience: Do not take your kids here if you care about their teeth!! I was a dental assistant for 13 years and I am up hauled with the treatment my son received. The assistant took btws, and polished his teeth. Then the older dentist came over glanced at the btws told my son to open his mouth and glanced in (no instruments were used at all) he didn't even check for his teeth. Then he said he's good and walked out. The assistant then asked if we wanted Fluoride and we said yes and she literally took the applicator swiped it across only his front two teeth and said ok you're done!! For this they charged my insurance $600!! Worst service I've ever seen!! Do not take your kids here!!!

Fantastic experience: I grew up going to this dentist and I’ve been taking my son to the same dentist for years and it’s always been a good experience. Everybody has always been really friendly and welcoming! I usually never leave reviews but CIARA elevated our experience today. 10/10 !!! I appreciate the way she communicated with my teenage son and really instilled the importance of brushing and flossing and all that good stuff! He can hear it from his mom every day but CIARA also gave the caring Auntie vibes:)

Fantastic experience: Dr. Christensen has taken care of all my kids teeth over the years and he’s even helped to correct some work that was poorly done by another dentist when we had moved away for a time. We’ve since learned our lesson to trust no one else with kids teeth. He’s amazing with the kids and makes them feel at ease. His staff is so friendly and kind. It makes for a fun atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: Every single person there, from the receptionists to the techs to the doctor were all amazing. The doctor made sure all my questions were answered and the techs made my kids feel so comfortable while cleaning their teeth and doing the x-rays. They were exceptionally good with my 1 year old, they made him feel very comfortable and went at his pace. It was a great first visit for him!

Fantastic experience: Been bringing my kids here for years! They make it fun and not scary. The assistants are friendly and make my kiddos feel comfortable. The doctors are patient and great with kids. I love Burg!

Fantastic experience: My child was very nervous about going to the dentist at first. We tried a general dentist who recommended Burg's. My kid was immediately relieved when we entered reception. The staff are so friendly and fun. We haven't had a problem with nerves since!

Fantastic experience: Nothing bit positive things to say! My 7 year old has had dental issues in the past year but he feels very comfortable here.

Positive experience: When I was a kid it felt like the dentist spent a long time going over my teeth. I happened to see the time when he walked into my sins appt and then I looked when he left because it felt way fast: just under 4 minutes. Has dental practice come that far or is he rushing us out? My son and I really like him, but I want to make sure he’s doing a thorough job especially since my son is now a teenager!

Negative experience: Dentists are fine but staff is the worst. We have had continual issues with their billing department and extremely rude staff members. I have never had so many issues with a dentist office before. They continue to perform unnecessary X-rays that they tell us will be covered but when they are not they charge us and tell us it’s our responsibility. We will take our business elsewhere. So many better places to go, don’t deal with the headaches.

Negative experience: I previously rated this place 5 stars, but after 4 years, I no longer trust this office. My daughter has gone back several times in the last year because she continues to have pain in her mouth. She can't eat on either side now. Every time I take her in to get the issue resolved, they tell me they don't see anything wrong. I've had them review X-rays again and scheduled follow-up visits, and they continue to tell me they don't see any issues. My daughter is constantly in tears because she can't eat her favorite food anymore and says it's too painful. They aren't taking her pain seriously and dismiss it every single time. There was another visit where they put a crown on my son's tooth. They didn't check his bite and he kept complaining it didn't feel right. We went back in a week later to have it fixed and they charged me for it. Why? Any other dentist would have rectified the bite issue without charge. In the last 4 years we've been patients, my confidence in their competence has dwindled to zero. This is the second Burg office we've been to, and the first one was worse. We aren't going back to any Burg office again.

His staff members were so amazing and so nice I absolutely love this place and I’ll travel just to get treated as we should! Amazing amazing place!

Fantastic experience: They’re great at making you feel welcomed! They worked with my 2 year old and did an awesome job. Glad I made the choice to start going here. Update 4 years later (2024) still going here and wouldn’t wanna go anywhere else! We got sealants done yesterday and my 5 yr old was very nervous but the dental assistant walked her through everything and kept reassuring her that it wasn’t scary. The dentist was also very nice and gentle with my baby.

Positive experience: I could go 5 stars, but I've only been there once. It was a short appointment to get my son established as a pt. and get an exam. Very clean place and the staff was kind and cordial

Positive experience: Great place, was not the best visit for my son this time around, The dental assistant was rude said barley anything, I felt like she did not do a good job on my sons cleaning despite the kid gagging from tools in his mouth (normal) and it took her less than 5 minutes fast not accurate, she never said you’re welcome to us or my son out of the multiple time he told her thank you. And scheduled the next appointment under the wrong doctor. We never had this experience at this place.

Fantastic experience: Love this dentist office! My daughter had some anxiety the first few visits but she loves going to every visit now. The dental assistants and the dentist makes the whole experience fun and welcoming. My daughter got a cape at her visit three years ago and still has it and loves it. She looks forward to the coins at the end of her visit to get little treats they have in the front. They play movies during the cleaning which helps with her anxiety. Best office I’ve been to in utah for little kids

Fantastic experience: Suri was amazing with my special needs daughter! We had the best appointment we have ever had! Dr C was amazing as usual! Suri was able to help my daughter feel comfortable and we were able to actually get xrays and everything done! We haven't ever been able to get that done!

Fantastic experience: We have been coming to the Vine Street location for years and will continue to do so. The entire team is so friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make going to the dentist enjoyable. One of my kids has a huge phobia of needles and they treat him and the situation with the utmost respect.They take him seriously and believe him. No surprises, talking him through every step. Dr. Christensen really cares about the whole patient, not just their mouth. I would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: My oldest child chipped their front tooth. Burg saw us within half an hour of the incident, and the X-ray and treatment cost us nothing. I appreciate the amazing service!

Positive experience: Felt like I was not listened to about my child’s sensory needs. I let them know her limits since she is autist, got push back and they still tried to get her to do what she was uncomfortable with. They were polite. But I feel like if you want dentist a friendly place, listen to parents and don’t try to force what may traumatize child.

Negative experience: The staff made my children feel comfortable. However, they did not verify information with my insurance before providing services. They billed services to my insurance that were not covered by my insurance. They have been giving us the run around for months and have not been willing to work with us to cover those costs. For instance my daughter went in for a cleaning where they did an xray on her teeth before verifying that insurance would cover it and they did not ask us before hand if we were okay with her getting an xray done. I am currently trying to still work with them in hopes they will resolve this. It has been very frustrating. Update: I am still waiting to hear back from the regional billing manager after being told I would be receiving a phone call to see what can be done. It’s been a week.

Fantastic experience: Burgs is the best children's dentistry. My children have disabilities and they accommodate my children's needs 100% of the time with no complaints or problems. They are always happy and friendly. They all work really hard to make everything amazing. They are doing mothers day post cards. They provided the postcards helped the kids fill them out and they will be sending them in the mail. The kids felt special to get to send mail. Dr. C is the best dentist. He is fun and always makes the kids happy. You won't be disappointed with Burgs or Dr. C at the vine location.

Fantastic experience: Brought my daughter Persie in for her first trip to get her little teeth cleaned The tech we had ( wish I asked her name like a gentleman so I can give her proper credit, but she knows who she is!) Was AMAZING Persie was a little spooked cuz she’s still quite little but she had fun and even tho Dr C kinda scared her cuz he was wearing a mask, she calmed down and he made it a safe and happy experience for my kiddo. I’m also typically quite skeptical and a bit standoffish as a person, so knowing my daughter wasn’t traumatized or made to cry was a huge plus for my dad heart. Thanks everyone for making it such a fun experience for her and myself.

Fantastic experience: It was great at the dentist! My prizes was great! Even my mommy bought me a ryan’s works lego set because my mom was so proud that i had no cavaties.

Negative experience: Update: VERY UPSET WITH THE SERVICE TODAY!!! If you know you are working with KIDS you should be PATIENT. The Dr did not even wait 5 minutes in the room for my baby to feel comfortable with him and left the room right away instead of waiting a couple minutes to see my kid teeth. Service is efficient and friendly, my baby has felt comfortable the times we’ve been here!

Fantastic experience: Hi, I feel bad because our dental assistants name has slipped my mind. But she has really been amazing with her interaction and patience with my son who is 2. She tells him what things are, what they do and keeps him aware of what's going on and is fun ! Dr.C is is calm , and pleasant as well :) Happy to have Burg Children's dentistry as my son's dentist! Fantastic experience: It was my daughters first visit to the dentist although she struggled a bit with the whole idea the staff made her feel super comfortable and were very patient with her. The dentist was also very kind we will be back for more visits in the future thank you to the entire staff

Fantastic experience: Such an amazing place. My daughter has had so much anxiety going to dentist and they did so good with her. She didn’t have any issues and was a rock star. She told me after leaving that she doesn’t want to go anywhere else, they were so nice and good

Positive experience: The assistant was great. Administration was great at letting me know what the costs would be. The procedure was successful, and completed in a very short time. The numbing medication apparently didn’t fully numb the area, so my child felt more pain than expected. It seemed the Dr was in a hurry. He is usually quick, but usually more attentive.

Fantastic experience: We had a tooth emergency. We called in the morning and they got us right in. Both the hygienist and doc were so incredibly nice and compassionate. My daughter ended up needing two extractions which they were able to do in the same day. They made the best of a not so fun situation and made my 6 year old feel so cared for. Thank you!!!

Fantastic experience: They are absolutely excellent! All of them from the doctor, to the assistants, to the office staff, are all so pleasant and so great with kids. We’ve actually been bringing our kids here for about 7 years and have always had the same great experience every time. I brought in 3 kids today at 3, and we were back in the car by 3:45. I can tell they’re being thorough even though they’re quick. They have a new 48 hour cancellation policy and they reached out to me plenty early to confirm my appointment so I know they are very organized. I love bringing my kids here.

Positive experience: Hygienist seemed unsure how to work with a 2yo first time, hopefully she'll become more comfortable with time. The dentist was a seasoned pro!! A miracle likened to parting the red sea happened when she opened her mouth for him!!! He was so good and just looked inside while corning to 10. She cried the whole time, but after he asked if she was ok and she said; " It wasn't scary". That's a big deal!!!

Fantastic experience: As Always the entire Team rocks!!!! I love taking the kids here for their Dental needs. My five year old has Sensory issues. Merin had her doing everything that asked. X-rays and all. They all care and make us feel relaxed and like family!!!! 2 years later, my now 7 year old let them do x-rays and a full cleaning.

The wait is never long, they really promote self confidence, great atmosphere for the kids, they've been more knowledgeable about some of my daughters issues than the dentists at Primaries.... and I like Primaries . These guys are just awesome...

My 10yr old had his first appointment there the other day and loved being able to watch a movie while they cleaned his teeth. Fantastic experience: Awesome kids dentist that really cares about the kids and takes amazing care of them! Treats both my daughters and wouldn't go anywhere else! One of my daughters was hurting after her visit. They got us in right away, checked everything and gave us some special toothpaste to help the soreness. The doctor even gave me his personal cell phone number in case of any issues. Would highly recommend!
