Negative experience: ⭐ 1 Star – Horrible Experience at Yes Dental I had one of the worst dental experiences of my life at Yes Dental. My first visit in 2024 was to fix a broken filling. After they repaired it, I started experiencing severe sensitivity — to the point where I couldn’t even drink water or eat anything with temperature. I went back the very next day and was told it would go away with time and that I should brush with Sensodyne. Months went by, and the problem never fully improved. In May 2025, I returned, and they said there was an overlap on the filling that needed to be corrected. I had it redone, and for a short time, the sensitivity eased. Then, about three months later, I developed excruciating pain that made it impossible to eat, sleep, or function normally. After several visits, they prescribed painkillers and antibiotics, and finally told me I needed a root canal. My root canal was scheduled for September 20, 2025, but the office called the day before to cancel, saying the insurance preauthorization was still under review. When I asked what could be done, they told me I could pay $800 upfront and that I would be reimbursed once insurance paid. I called my insurance company, and they informed me that Yes Dental was not supposed to charge for a crown since that service had not been done. When I went in to talk about the issue, the office manager was extremely rude, talked over me, and even disrespected my mother, who was there with me and simply trying to correct something the manager said incorrectly. The staff and even one of the dentists made inappropriate comments — one even suggested that maybe it was my age causing my dental issues, which was uncalled for and unprofessional. I’ve never had dental issues before visiting this office, but since going there, I’ve had nothing but pain, stress, and frustration. Yes Dental shows no professionalism, no empathy, and no accountability for their mistakes. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding this office at all costs.

I’m not sure based on what you schedule appointments?! You keep calling to remind us of our appointment and then when we get there before time no one cares and we have to wait for a while !!! Doesn’t make sense to me ….. I’m going to move in and look for another dentist office that could value me and my time more

So far a good experience and the dentist, front desk staff and the dental assistants have been very friendly and courteous especially with my mom because she is a senior and partly hearing impaired.

Fantastic experience: Here comes another review yall… so after Experiencing horrible wait times at Dental dreams on Cottman Avenue I found Yes Dental. Dentist always say you know they have wait times but Dental dreams wait times be about five hours. I walked out. Both my daughter and I had appointments at YES dental at 9:30 and 10 AM. We are out by 11 AM. The Staff here are amazing from start to finish. Starting from the Front Desk, staff, Debbie and Myra to my hygienist, Chy and my amazingly, superfine doctor, Dr. Singh. Ladies, he will take your breath away bad and all, lol. But on a serious note, these folks really care about your teeth. Thank you. This is my first time coming here, but I will update y’all at my second appointment as well. It’s not a one and done over here with me. But as for now 10 out of 10, I do recommend!

My appointment wait time was over 2 hours, which is completely unacceptable and shows a lack of respect for patients’ time. On top of that, the environment felt very unprofessional. What really concerned me was seeing private patient information left openly visible on a computer screen. This is not only careless but also a serious privacy issue. It makes me question how safely my own information is being handled. This type of behavior is not good for the business or its clients. Patients deserve professionalism, respect for their time, and proper handling of their personal health information. Unfortunately, this office failed in all of those areas.

Negative experience: I don’t know exactly about what should I complain!!! This place is HORRIBLE . Please if you care about yourself, never come here . I’ll speak about the Medical part first which is the Most important to me , since more than a Month and I have a Severe pain in my teeth I went to this place and the Dr said that I need Fillings + root canal + extraction one tooth and implants, so she did the 3 fillings first since 20 days after the fillings and I have uncomfortable and incredible pain so I went again to the clinic after 5 day and the Dr said that my Pain is NORMAL!!??? Even when I brush my teeth , the pain can last for a Month I should give it time ??? Unprofessional dentist, so today I went to another clinic because of the pain , so we found that they did the fillings too much deep which affected the nerves which means that its probably need for another root canal , I need one and this will be the second one !!! What they learned exactly, I really don’t know ? ZERO TRUST them . So now Iam trying to correct and Fix what they did to me . Second the front desk, they are rude and unpleasant women’s, they don’t care about yourself pain only money they care about it It was a badly experience there , I will never go there again

Negative experience: Do not waste your time making an appointment here. Expect to wait over two hours in a cramped waiting room. My child needed wisdom teeth removed, and I was told to send his X-rays with my information so they could call me back with an appointment. I waited a MONTH—no call. When I followed up, they asked me to resend the X-rays and promised to call, but a week passed with no response. When I finally spoke to someone about the issue, they scheduled an appointment, but when we arrived, there was no record of my child at all. Terrible service—stay away from this place.

Negative experience: Ethan called and told me the only way they will accept state insurance is if my daughter get all four teeth pulled which i didn’t want only 2 was hurting her. I called around to other dentist the lady said she can’t believe he risk saying that, it’s borderline fraudulent practices he tried to do. He tried to force the fact she needed to be sedated when I told him she didn’t need to. This dentist is a scam I recommend yall go elsewhere if you don’t want to be tooken advantage of and scammed all because they have that expensive office space to pay.

Negative experience: How can have an appointment, be on time and still have to wait 2 hours to be seen? They don’t tell you anything, just have u sitting. You have to CONTINUOUSLY go up and ask what’s going on only to be told your next. Well when the hell is that because 2hrs don’t seem like next and have to STILL wait. Finally get in the back to discover they told u ur appt was a whole hour later than the time they told you and you only found out because you see it on the paperwork. Why the hell yall stringing people along, playing in their faces?

Negative experience: Don’t bother trying to make an appointment if you need your wisdom teeth removed. After going back and forth for a week trying to get them my referral and x-rays, the receptionist tells me the next appointment isn’t until January. It’s currently July. That is literally unacceptable, you should be telling people that upfront. P.s. don’t bother faxing them because it doesn’t work, neither does the form on the website.

Everyone was soo nice! The receptionists were nice and my wait time was great I waited about a half hour which is to be expected. The dental assistant was soo very nice! she was calming me down and really took her time talking to me. The dentist was nice Dr.Berm. I have to go back to get my teeth extracted so I will update on how that went. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Negative experience: had me wait over 30 minutes with no warning/notice. cancelled my appointment without my knowledge due to a bad review. which i had deleted but i decided to put this back since they wasted so much of time and many other peoples. they need to follow a specific procedure when it comes to abandoning a patient and they did not let me know they would refusee service until the day of the appointment. therefore they scared me for my health than when i arrived they informed me of the copay which i HAD INITIALLY ASKED ABOUT IN MY FIRST PHONE CALL. No referal was mentioned when i asked in the first place. i hope you guys feel great about denying people dental aid after one bad review online. as you may think its legal since its not discriminatory. but you infact gave me no warning, no message, no way to find an alternative dental appointment/doctor. putting my health at risk warrants for the worst review. i hope more people can take to heart all these reviews. your manager not being to talk to anyone they deny is unprofessional. you all must be miserable to treat people so insensitively. have a great time denying me care and not communicating with upset patients who would spend their money there if you all were not so rude.

Negative experience: Horrible place who overbooks so often and terribly that there are barely any chairs left for patients. If you have an appointment at 1:30pm you will need to wait until 6pm to be called. They misdiagnosed my child with a cavity before, and when I took my child to another dentist they said there was none present. The front desk ladies are rude and the department of public health needs to investigate this establishment.

Negative experience: If you value your time, I would absolutely not recommend this office. I had an incredibly frustrating and infuriating experience at this dental office. Around 10 AM yesterday, I called to schedule an appointment for 3 PM today to do a routine cleaning and fix the glue on my permanent retainer, which was causing jaw pain. I arrived early at 2:50 PM and had to wait past my scheduled time, which is still understandable. However, at almost 3:30 PM, I was told my appointment had been canceled because I "didn’t confirm it." I had never even received a text or call, and my phone showed no missed calls. I pointed this out to the front desk and after I expressed my concern for the pain and asked for any solution to be seen today, she went to check with someone in the back, and returned to tell me they were fully booked at this current time but there is an opening in two hours. While inconvenient, I agreed because I wanted the pain to go away. However, when they realized I was willing to wait, the front desk went back again to discussed further and came back to tell me the dentist wouldn’t be able to see me after all because they didn’t want to stay late. Someone, who I assume is the manager, comes from the back and once again proceeds to claim my appointment was canceled because I didn’t confirm. I pointed out once again, I didn’t receive any text or calls. He proceeds to raise his voice claiming the office called me multiple times “two days ago”. How is that possible when I’ve only made the appointment yesterday! Just prior to the manager’s impossible claim, I was still understanding and that mistakes can happen, but for the manager shift the blame and straight up lie is unacceptable! After the manager left, front desk explained there was nothing else she could do since the manager already made the decision to not accept me today, and offer to reschedule for another day. I declined as I did not want to take another day off work for the chance of something going wrong again. After reading other reviews and experiencing firsthand how they handled my situation, it's clear this place’s management lacks professionalism, accountability, and respect for people's time. No patient should have to deal with an office that confidently lies and deflects blame onto you rather than taking responsibility for a mistake on their part.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been on and off coming here for years love Doctor Lopez she is knowledgeable and compassionate fell asleep while she was doing my fillings very gentle and thorough thought my teeth needed to be whitened I was wrong she got them spotless and so white being a smoker I was shocked. Yes the office is a wait and you’ll probably spend about a half hour to a hr to be seen but it’s definitely worth the wait went to an emergency dentist because they were booked and he destroyed my mouth had to have yes dental save what was left never again rather stick with Dr. Lopez
Positive experience: At first the ladies at the front desk didn't greet, my wife and I when we approached the desk to check in. Then the young lady asked me if I wanted English or Spanish, I said English, but I sit down and low and behold she gives me Spanish, then I get in back, everything was great then the doctor said give a min.I didn't see her for half-hour, some lady Flys in grabs the trey and yells out we have to move u to another room which I sat there 4 another 5min, b4 the came back, but other then that it was cool , yeah I would recommend it!✌️.

He took pictures as well as explaining what was the treason for my situation and what to do to feel better. I was so amazed with this place that I switch from my dentist to this one. The building was big as well as clean. They also many rooms and took care of many patients at a time. The icing on the cake was the wait peril was quick. Negative experience: I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding the treatment I received at Yes Dental on Cottman Avenue during my visit on Wednesday, March 19. I left feeling not only dismissed and disrespected but also discriminated against—either due to my race or my Medicaid insurance status. From the moment I walked in, I was met with unprofessionalism. The receptionist was rude and indifferent, setting an immediate negative tone. When I was called back by the dental assistant, the experience only worsened. It took her 30 minutes to complete my X-rays, during which she engaged in an inappropriate conversation about politics and President Trump—something that had no place in a professional medical setting. When the dentist arrived, she was cold, unapproachable, and lacked bedside manner. She made snarky comments regarding my teeth and oral health, and when I mentioned that I had noticed bad breath due to a cracked tooth (the reason for my visit), she dismissively responded, “Hmm, I bet.” She briefly glanced at my X-rays without explaining anything, wrote notes on the back of a piece of paper, and then spent only a couple of seconds looking in my mouth. Despite having a visible abscess near the cracked tooth, she failed to acknowledge it simply because I was not in immediate pain at the time. Instead, she told me I needed a $600 procedure that my insurance would not cover. When I asked if I could at least get a cleaning while I figured out the financial aspect of the procedure, she refused, stating, “We can’t do that here. Your problem won’t be fixed by a cleaning.” However, she never actually explained what my “problem” was. I was left in the dark about my own dental health and the necessary steps to move forward. The scheduler who came in afterward was equally dismissive and unprofessional. She attempted to explain medical information that the doctor should have provided and, when questioned, insisted that her 15 years of experience made her qualified to assess my situation. By this point, I was furious and deeply frustrated—I had never been treated with such disregard at a medical facility. I left feeling unsafe, unheard, and like a second-class patient. Was I treated this way because I am African American? Or because I have Medicaid? The office was predominantly white and Hispanic, and I couldn’t help but wonder if these factors influenced the way I was handled. Regardless of the reason, the treatment I received was unacceptable. Before leaving, I requested my medical records and was told they would be available within 48 hours. However, I have yet to receive a call regarding their status. Later that day, I called to speak with the office manager, left a message with the receptionist, and never received a callback. Now, days later, I am in pain with swollen gums, and I still have no clarity on my dental health or how to proceed. I cannot, in good conscience, let this experience go unaddressed. If this is how patients are treated, I worry for those who may not have the ability to advocate for themselves—like my mother or grandmother. I have never written a complaint or left a negative review before, but the way I was treated left me feeling defeated and disrespected.
