Positive experience: A lot of information repeated over and over again but in the end I totally understood. Last night I used the devise for the first time and slept longer than normal, my hubby said less snoring, and my health information chart showed less time waking up during the night, more REM sleep, and more deep sleep. So far so good.

Fantastic experience: This device changed my life. I've had sleep apnea since I was a child. I constantly struggled with waking up in the morning and being late all the time. I couldn't wear my CPAP mask. I'm claustrophobic and I have very sensitive skin. Mask left welts on my face for hours after waking up. My blood pressure went down since I've been using it too. I feel so much better! This process was explained well.. everyone was great. Thanks you ASD! I'll be forever grateful for you guys!

Fantastic experience: I like many had suffered for many years with varying degrees of sleep apnea. I had tried CPAP twice, and had horrible results, not even being able to sleep through the night. My daughter recommended this after she had the same issues and tried American sleep dentistry. It takes a little while to set up everything, but the results are very well worth it, I wear a Fitbit watch and that records my sleep REM and deep sleep. Those two amounts have basically doubled and my sleep score has gone from '70s to 80s and '90s consistently for about a month now, and I expect that to continue. The people there are very well educated on their product and always willing to help with any issues you may have. Was able to get her immediate contact with alive professional to help every time I called. I highly recommend this to anybody who has been dealing with this for any length of time. I think they have a very high success rate, and I am one of them! Thanks everyone!

Positive experience: I think coming here is one of the best life decisions I have made. Getting the mouth guard over the machine is what I wanted. The mouth guard is easy to clean. Did I mention I can take it anywhere. I just slip it and my pocket and I'm gone. Thank you ASD!!!

Negative experience: 3 weeks back, I was contacted by American Sleep Dentistry, after I had made an Enquiry on their YouTube ad. They had 3 rounds of discussion with me to convince me that, their dental unit will help me replace my CPAP machine. They confirmed me, multiple times over recorded line and even in email, that I only need to pay $40 for shipping the items to take dental impression. They told me that, ASD has checked with my insurance and I do not need to pay anything from my pocket and everything is covered by insurance and confirmed in writing that I have Zero Dollar copay or deductible. After all these confirmations, I proceeded with placing an order for dental appliance. After sleep test and impression taking, I sent those back to ASD. This week, they called me, my insurance is not covering this and I need to pay $980. I spent 8-10 hrs, researching about them and spending for shipment $40 etc., Now they are asking me to pay $980. I told them all the background but they are rude and I spoke to multiple level of folks. It looks like the business is deliberately done to con the buyers.

Fantastic experience: Working with the people at American Sleep Dentistry was extremely helpful and appreciated. Everyone I worked with was very knowledgeable and helpful and made sure everything was correct in order to get me my sleep appliance. When it arrived they walked me through getting started wearing the appliance. I have been using it for about 2 weeks now and it is easy to use and comfortable to wear. In another week I will be adjusting the fitting which is also easy to do. My wife has not heard me snore since about the 3rd day after wearing the appliance. I believe I have a winner here unlike the many other products I tried to stop snoring. It's covered by my insurance which was fantastic.

Negative experience: I waited 24 minutes on zoom for a rep to help me with my fitting, then I waited 14 minutes for the dentist to come on. The fitting is still too tight. I really have to struggle to get it off. I am afraid to wear it for a full night because I think it will really be stuck and I won't be able to get it off.

Fantastic experience: Been wearing my appliance for a couple weeks. Experience has been good. From first call to great communication to very good quality of supplies. Very easy to follow by video call with professionals. Appliance fit perfectly first time I tried it! I seem to be sleeping well also. I was hesitant to give up the “air” from my CPAP but that has not been an issue. I feel less encumbered and not adjusting my hose and strap all the time. Not to mention no more cleaning my headgear!!! So freeing. Just make a call and Sleep Dentistry takes it and guides you from the beginning to the end!

Fantastic experience: The entire experience from getting started to getting fitted has been easy. The staff at ASD is very professional. There are some lag times when waiting on the dentist to come on, but eventually, they will. Just got my device, I will update in a few weeks after I give it a go.

Positive experience: I had a problem with the guarantee and it’s bc l received the device May 30/2025 the coverage is going to be until May/30/2028. However l couldn’t do the fitting until Jul 9/2025. So, it is NOT going to cover it from May 30/2028 - Jul 9/2028 if something happened. The fact is that the wear and tear starts on my fitting day.

Negative experience: No I only tried using it a couple of times every time I use it I have to put it in hot water for it to loosen up, but it seems like after it cools off it locks down on my teeth and it feels like I’m getting ready to pull my teeth out as I’m trying to take it out of my mouth so no, I have not used the mouthpiece

The process for testing, fitting and processing for the appliance is a bit time intensive, but it is worth it. I received and have been using the dental appliance for a few nights so far, so it's too soon to give a report on it's effectiveness. I will update this review in the future when I have results.

Fantastic experience: I saw an ad for American Sleep Dentistry. I had never heard of them before, so I didn't know if they were legit or not, but I decided to hear what they had to say. All I knew is that after 20 years, of having a CPAP strapped to my face, that I didn't want to have to wear it for the rest of my life!! I filled out the American Sleep Dentistry form online, to get more info. They contacted me. We got on a zoom call, so I could see their presentation showing what they have & how the process would work. I was not pushed in any way to make a quick decision. They answered all my questions. They gave me a price. They sent me a large ring that fits on your index finger. You download an app on our cell phone & hit record when you go to sleep, while wearing their ring on your finger. It is the easiest sleep study ever!! No wires, nothing else to strap to your body. The ring & the phone produce full sleep study results. I think they need the sleep study to show proof to your insurance company that you really do have sleep apnea. Then they sent me a professional kit to make my own teeth impressions & I sent them back to them, along with the ring. They made the dental appliance, Once I received it, I wore it for 2 nights. I then had a zoom call with they representative, who answered my questions. She made sure I was happy with it and that it fit well. Then I spoke on the same zoom call with their dentist who answered any additional questions I might have had. I am already using the appliance every night. Every single step has been easy. Every single person I spoke with was kind, friendly, knowledgeable & patient. They are the REAL deal!! If you have sleep apnea & want to consider another option, I would highly recommend you contact them & watch their presentation, ask questions & make your decision from there.

Negative experience: I have had an American Sleep Dentistry device for 10 months now. At my recent annual exam my physician asked how my sleep is with the device. I told her I'm continuing to wake several times during the night. Although based on the SnoreLab app that ASD recommends to monitor sleep things appear better, I continue to have fragmented sleep. My doctor ordered another at-home sleep study to take with the ASD device in use. That sleep study came back considerably worse than the test done a year ago. When I called to discuss this with ASD and the fact that the screw on one side of my device is frozen preventing any adjustments, I encountered the most rude, confrontational, insulting, condescending, arrogant representative imaginable. ASD may seem nice and helpful when selling you a device, but just try to get help down the road. Good luck!

Fantastic experience: After 2 sets of impressions, the 3rd time only required a top impression. I received my appliance, used it lastnight, got up for the bathroom after for 4 hours of using it & couldn't fall back to sleep with it, took it out. Fell back to sleep . Will use it tonight until I'm used too it. I find I drool a bit when getting it in correctly. The grip is so tight against my teeth, when pulling up n down to remove, it feels like my crowns will come out too! I believe it was in correctly because it wasn't uncomfortable but snoring wasn't my issue, it was my breathing. Is it possible to get another sleep study while using this appliance to see that it's working? All & all, your staff are all awesome. Very professional, knowledgeable & kind not to mention having patience I pray this appliance will improve my sleep issue. Thank you !

Fantastic experience: Had a crazy morning; issues with my phone but ASD kept trying to get through to me for my appointment and I finally figured out my phone issue and was able to do the appointment. I don’t remember the name of the gal who assisted me or the doctor I spoke to but we’re were helpful and friendly.
