Negative experience: They Have the worst billing system in the world I’ve been working for doctors my whole life and I’ve never experienced anything like this. I will never go back to them. The girl is unhelpful, rude, and extremely disrespectful. I believe her name was Carmen.

Negative experience: They have the Worst billing system in the world !! What kind of practice doesn’t tell a person they owe money before they show up for their appointment. I have come in and out of here numerous times paid as I left and now today I walk in and they say oh we can’t see you unless you pay $600 from an appointment over a year ago. It’s every time I come here. I have to prove to them that I have insurance that covers 80%. I then call my insurance company and they say that this place is billing it incorrectly. I then have to come back and prove that and then they rebuild it and get paid. I don’t know how many times they need to be corrected. It’s gotten so bad. I will never come back here again or would I ever recommend this place.

Negative experience: Too expensive for me. 4500 for 2 crowns is not affordable. Shopping around but office and staff are top notch

Negative experience: Money hungry, want $ before you can even make appt. for care. Went there for cracked tooth consult and told me had to pay 1/2 upfront before I can make appointment to fix it. Who does this? No customer care, all about $.

Fantastic experience: I can’t express enough appreciation for the care I received from Dr Gandhi and his professional caring staff. I was told by other dentists that there was nothing wrong with the root canal that was causing me so much pain. In reality it was very infected. I also needed an implant removed from my front tooth. Other dentists said it was impossible because of other health problems I have. Dr Gandhi found that it was so infected that I had a gaping hole up to my nasal cavity. My visit with Dr Gandhi was a God sent. He was confident he could help me. He made me feel so relaxed about what was about to take place. The work began. Before my first big day he prepared my body with a vitamin infusion. Then the next day he and his caring staff worked on me for at least 2 hours straight. They worked so diligently all the while making me feel relaxed. I never saw such dedication. The treatments during my procedure included ozone treatment; red light therapy; and PRP therapy. He covers all basis to ensure healthy healing. If you’re looking for an outstanding intelligent dentist, you can put your confidence in Dr Gandhi as I did.

I was looking for a bio dentist and reached out to a bio dentist in Germany asking for a referral close to my home in the States. He referred me to Dr. Gandi and I set up my consultation as soon as possible. My first visit at the office was a really great experience ! They are kind, caring, make you feel so comfortable, they go above and beyond for their patients.. Adiola worked on me this week and she is the best. Definitely ask for her. She did my deep cleaning my husband's. She made sure I was comfortable, took her time and so gentle. If your looking for a dentist I highly recommend checking them out. Dr Ryan is awesome, he cares about your teeth, he never rushes you out, answers every question honestly and takes his time with you. We have our whole family coming here now and everyone we talk too. And let's not forget the girls in the front are so kind and helpful. I have had so much anxiety going to the dentist for years and this place litterly makes it so much better. I am very picky when it comes to hiring my doctors; I do tons of research vetting them, and read every review the internet has avail. I chose this practice because I wanted to see a biological dentist moving forward. I started seeing Dr. Gandhi there, but he was unable to do my work and set me up with Dr. Ryan. After doing my research, I soon found out firsthand that Dr. Ryan is not only incredibly skilled, but also genuinely caring. He took the time to explain every procedure, answer all my questions with patience, and made sure I was completely comfortable throughout my visit. He truly went above and beyond what I expected. I've had everything from routine cleanings to more involved dental work, and every experience has been smooth, painless, and handled with such expertise. Fantastic experience: On 29 May 2025 I had my semi-annual teeth cleaning with my dental hygienist Adiola. As usual she was very gentle on my teeth/gums. She explains every procedure before she performs them and checks on my comfort level throughout my visit. She answers all my questions, so I fully understand the status of my teeth/gums. She explained to me the importance of replacing my permanent Invisalign on time to ensure my teeth don't start to shift again. I always have a positive experience at Shore Smiles Dental. Fantastic experience: Shore Smiles led by Dr. Ghandi has been my dentist since 2019. I have watched his practice grow and prosper tremendously. The one biggest thing that hasn't changed is the Customer/Patient centric concept that I witnessed in 2019 and still do today. I left Long Island in 2020 and while I live 1,000 miles away, Dr Jiggar Ghandi is still my dentist. Negative experience: Billed $1,000 for a Service I Never Received — Be Cautious I went to Shore Smiles Dental on December 20th for an initial consultation and X-rays. I was told I needed about $4,000 worth of dental work. Since I couldn’t pay a deposit, the office suggested I apply for CareCredit, which I did — not realizing I’d be charged $1,000 before receiving any treatment. I scheduled an appointment for January 6th but canceled it on January 4th, because I didn’t have the full amount required. At no point was I told there would be a cancellation fee or that I’d be charged upfront. I never received any actual treatment — only X-rays and a treatment plan. Weeks later, I started getting collection notices and calls from Synchrony Bank (CareCredit), saying I owed $1,000. When I called, they said Shore Smiles Dental claimed they provided the service, which is completely untrue. On March 31st, someone named Julia reached out to me questioning why I filed a dispute. She told me that had I called them instead, they could’ve refunded me. She also left a voicemail which I still have that states they would have processed the refund and it would have gone through quicker had I not opened a dispute. However, now they are refusing to issue a refund and are sticking to the claim that services were rendered — which they were not. Today, on June 2nd, I spoke with Stephanie, who was empathetic and professional. She placed me on hold a few times to speak with someone above her, and eventually told me there’s nothing they can do until they receive a notice from CareCredit. Now it’s out of their hands and I have to wait to find out if I’ll be refunded — despite the fact that I never got the treatment in the first place. Just when I thought I found my dental home, this happened. Now I’m left with a $1,000 debt for a service I never received, and no clear timeline for resolution. Please be cautious if you choose this office, especially when financing. Make sure you understand what you’re being charged for and ask for all terms in writing. This has been stressful and disappointing.

Fantastic experience: He is a dentist's dentist because he is the best of the best. (I am a practicing dentist for nearly 40 years). The profession is waking up to silent infections in your jaws and Dr. Gandhi is on the cutting edge (literally and figuratively ) I had a 5 STAR Experience.

The staff - all of those we interested with - were professional, kind, and respectful. This is rare and refreshing, especially in staff dealing with those few patients who forget courtesy. He really understands how the health of our teeth is directly and inseparably linked to our whole body and health of our functioning systems and organs. Fantastic experience: The dental hygienist is sweet, thorough and efficient. The staff are nice, helpful and knowledgeable. The dentists are courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. Everyone in the office works to make sure your experience is a pleasant one.

Negative experience: This practice requires you to pay upfront and also pay half of the cost of the procedure just to make an appointment. They give you a price and later on say that your insurance didn’t cover all and want to charge you more. One person at the front desk says one thing then next time you go another person says something different. Both the dental hygienist and Dr. Ryan are excellent.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ghadhi is amazing and does great work. I recently had a piece of old wisdom tooth left over removed along with cavitation surgery. He and the staff were incredibly caring and attentive. The doctor even called himself to check in with me twice after my surgery. If you are battling chronic health issues please look into finding answers in your mouth with shire smiles! I have struggled with swollen lymph nodes in my neck for over 9 months. After my surgery they have just about fully went away and my energy level has sky rocketed.

Negative experience: There must be a reason there is a sign on the reception desk that says not to treat the employees badly, I have never seen that before in my life in any dental or medical office. It’s because the place is a factory with high prices and no personality. The dentist did not even say hello to me or even looked me in the eyes once, Then quoted me $1600 for a tooth repair that another Massapequa dentist fixed for $300. I’m glad I walked out.

Negative experience: When I arrived it was 8:52. I had a 9 o’clock appointment. The girl in the office wouldn’t let me in until 8:59. I had to wait outside in the rain and then I was never taken in to have a cleaninguntil 918 and I was the first appointment go figure.

Fantastic experience: I went to aspen Dental who told me I needed four teeth, pulled and bone grafting done for implants I was recommended to South Shore smiles from a patient who I don’t even know and it was the best decision I made to go into see Dr. Gandhi. He assured me I didn’t need to have my teeth pulled and I would be keeping my teeth for at least the next 10 years. My treatment starts in November.. Dr. Gandhi was amazing as was his entire staff. The office was clean all state of the art equipment. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Thank you Dr. Gandhi and staff.

Fantastic experience: I had oral surgery on Sept 2024, . Everyone at the office are very caring to your dental needs. From my first visit with Dr Mike , To the day of my surgery with Dr. Abramov and Dr. Dilisio the anesthesiologist who made me feel comfortable and less frightful going into my surgery. Everything went very well. The techs who scan my mouth for the doctor are also knowledgeable and caring to get you ready for your permanent implants for Dr Ryan who is working with me now. Dr Ryan is very knowledgeable and kind. He asks me of my concerns and resolved them right away. And of course the receptionist, I would recommend Shore Smile Dental, Thank You Staff.

Fantastic experience: Very professional state of the art , equipment and friendly service who could ask for anything more Dr.Jon is a true professional I had 9 teeth extracted and 6 post put in and left with a full set of teeth I took their advice and Iced this kept the swelling down and I took two Advil every six hours and I was pain free . PS on my original consultation, the doctors had told me if I’m gonna proceed with this. I should start taking vitamin D3 with K and magnesium.7 I truly believe this helped me with the healing

Negative experience: My husband had an appointment he had a truly awful experience . From the moment he walked in, things went downhill. The receptionist was rude and dismissive, he called to advise that he would be 15 min late and if it was possible to still be seen they agreed to see him he drove 50 min to be told he would not be seen The whole experience was stressful for him and left him feeling unheard and unappreciated will not be coming back

Negative experience: I had a terrible experience with Shore Smile Dental. I was charged a $6,000 (credit card) down payment for a $46,000 procedure scheduled two weeks out. One business day later, I decided to cancel and requested a refund, but they refused to return my money. My financial situation is not good at this time. While I understand that some work was done (a first digital impression scan for a mold), the refusal to issue even a partial refund despite the procedure not happening is completely unreasonable. Most reputable dental offices have fair cancellation policies, but this one seems more focused on profits than patient care. If you are considering treatment here, be very careful about their payment terms and cancellation policies. I regret trusting them with such a large deposit. I would not recommend this office to anyone.

Negative experience: I needed to have a special ex-ray done it turned out this office did not accept my insurance and I had an appointment to do my root canal and they refuse to release any information without me paying up front for this ex-ray. I am on a limited income and they refuse to work it out with me! Now I had to postpone my root canal customers beware of this place!

By Dr Dome,,, we decided to seek out a biological dentist and Dr Gandhi, came highly recomended and so far he has been, knowledgeable, caring, empathetic and very clear and on point as to what to expect and the potential reason for some of our current ailments. His team,,,, every single person we have interacted with, the two times we've been to the office, have been just delightful, very nice, engaging, ready to answer any questions. My hubby and I are having multiple procedures done and even though it's a long trip for us, coming from NJ... so far it's been worth the trip. Guess what? .. very little pain and no swelling... so I think Dr Gandhi has good touch!

Fantastic experience: Doctor Ghandi, Dr Mike and staff are amazing ! Dr Mike has been taking care of me for the last 18 months. He is fantastic in dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. He is also compassionate, and understands my anxiety of just going for smaller procedures. Dr Ghandi and Dr Mike works very close ! Another very positive is that they offer Nitrous Oxide to make your dental journey a breeze. Picture of my upper teeth returned to the nice white color I use to have. Fantastic experience: Always a wonderful experience. No excessive waiting, clean, bright & friendly environment. The staff are all professional, compassionate & knowledgeable. I would recommend this practice to any & everyone!!!

Negative experience: I felt a tremendous pressure to get a procedure done, which I have not done yet. We felt as if they were selling me a car, pushing it down my throat. The economy is bad, medical procedures are expensive and if on top of these you get to a medial stuff pushing you to get the treatment with them is a bad combination. A medical visit is stressing as it is, if they find something wrong is added stress, so if they push a procedure imagine! I think they must come to the realization that this is not how a medical office is supposed to be manage. If anybody reading this goes there and feel the same post the feeling to save a headache to other. This is unfortunately how people are today. HUNGRY FOR MONEY and the human contact is totally lost.

Fantastic experience: Dr. G and staff are the greatest !!!!!! There’s not a better dentist out there. Dr Gandhi and the entire office staff are all so caring & compassionate. They make dental work feel like a breeze , I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!❤️

Negative experience: I had a 9am appointment I arrived at 8:30am no one from shore smiles was there waited until 9:15 am then was informed by another patient that they were going to open at 10am I think the proper thing would have been for me to receive a phone call advising me that they were going to be delayed due to the weather

Negative experience: Hello everyone, I am going to expose bad human being and bad doctor in here today. I wish someone done it before and read it before I went to this place. Here we go what I learn from this experience is you are not going to trust even licensed doctor so always get second and third opinion. I have had a consultation Shore Smiles Dental for removal of my crowns which I decided to redone but I need to just removal the crowns nothing else because I done the crowns oversees just a month ago but I decided to redone so I went to this practice and saw Dr. Jigar Gandhi, what a disappointment and terrible experience. This doctor is a joke and cruel person. I had a 3D X-ray taken and when I sit down to talk this doctor he said I have big problems and big issues? Ok I am listening carefully and wondering what was the problems. He showed me all four corners of mouth last teeth in each corner and one more next upper corner so he told me he wants six extraction and five implants placed and than he will replace done all other crowns altogether. He showed me some black spots on the X-ray but I see nothing so I was listening and it’s amazing I done all X-ray for my teeth just a month ago and the other doctor said I don’t have any problems. Okay now it’s getting more interesting and I said what he recommends. Obviously he want me to do all job with him. Okay he told me come next week we will clarify the game plan for how he wants to treat my problematic dental needs. After one week we sit down and he said the game plan 6 extractions and 5 implants and all new crowns in my mouth total 27 teeth. Okay I asked him why don’t we fix the problem teeth with root canal so he said I don’t do fix job and he do complete job he said. I was confused and asked in your practice there is many other dentist’s so if you don’t do maybe they can do that. He paused and said okay you have an option but I want to do all with extraction and implants. However there not clear answer to why he thinks it’s better and even getting better he said after 1 or 2 or 3-4-5 years that root canal teeth might get bad and you need to do fix job. I said it’s my choice if want to do fix job or not but right now nothing is in pain. Newsflash I don’t have any pain whatsoever with any teeth he wants to extract and implant. He said you don’t need to be in pain to do extract and implant so he thinks it’s okay to extract healthy teeth now to avoid a problem 3-5-10-15 years and implant them. What kind of low life and money hungry person this Dr. Jigar Gandhi is it’s getting better and he gave to me almost $50000.00 dollars invoice to do the job. Fifty thousand dollars it’s a lot of money and you don’t know what this dentist capable to do if he trying falsely wrongly diagnose the person? Also he doesn’t like titanium implants he wants crown implants. Of course it’s double the price with no difference with outcome. Yes after that I went for “second opinion” with different doctor and “third opinion” with different doctor. News flash the doctor's find nothing wrong with my 4 tooth and only one out of five is little black spot in and they said it’s okay for now we need to compare next 2-3 years if doesn’t grow bigger it’s nothing to worry about. I don’t have any problem teeth Mr. Gandhi you are a Liar. So Shore Smiles Dental Doctor Jigar Gandhi wants to just money money that’s what he cares about it. He doesn’t care about patients dental needs and his wrong diagnosis can effects people’s lives or vice versa with what is the his motivation was clear he thought he would get me in to do job and make tons of money. Do you think you can play people’s health like that Mr. Gandhi, I don’t think so. He is just a crooked, dishonest doctor. I want to expose him in here to warn people please be careful with this Shore Smiles Dental Office and Dishonest dentist Dr. JIGAR GANDHI is a “Liar Liar pants on fire” You think you will make easy money on me right!..now you are exposed; “Liar Dentist Jigar Gandhi”

Fantastic experience: Doctor Ryan and his assistant Karen were splendid and great to speak to in regards to my dental issues. They quickly took me in upon filing out the paperwork. Got straight to the scans and diagnosing my teeth. They thoroughly explained all procedures I would need to get and even handed me a print out of my dental plan ! Couldn’t be happier

Fantastic experience: All I can say is I’m glad I started going to south shore smiles , when my past dentist told me that they weren’t able to help me, that’s when I started with south shore and I’m very very happy I went . Overall a pleasant experience, go figure, but yes . The entire staff is friendly and respectful, and the Doctors are top notch, no favorites but Dr . John was awesome. Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with shores smiles when planning my cavitation surgery. The person who did my cone beam scan was worried about doing it and the doctor called my cellphone on his time off to reassure her ! Dr.Ghandi was thorough with his explanation of the surgery and his staff were helpful when setting it up. Overall I wouldn't have wanted to go anywhere else as they truly felt welcoming and supportive of the process.

Negative experience: 0 STARS I had a great experience during my first visit to Shore Smiles. The hygienist took her time and did an amazing job. At the end of the appointment, we discussed some cosmetic options and the need for a deep cleaning. Before leaving, I scheduled my follow-up cleaning, which brings us to today. I received a welcoming email to check in online, which was simple and easy. I also called to confirm my appointment, and I was told it was scheduled for 6:00 PM. I explained that my confirmation said 5:00 PM. The receptionist said she would check and call me back. About an hour later, I received a call back and was told they were running a little behind and asked if I could come at 5:30 PM instead of 5:00 PM. I agreed without issue. I arrived at 5:15 PM and was called in around 5:35 PM. I was greeted by Carmen, who directed me into an office. I was a bit confused when she informed me they couldn’t do my cleaning because I needed a deep cleaning, which requires 1.5 to 2 hours. I asked why this hadn’t been mentioned during the two confirmations or when I checked in at the front desk. Carmen then started asking if I had made a payment. I was unsure what payment she was referring to, as I had made my payment during my previous visit. The situation became very uncomfortable as Carmen seemed to blame me, implying I should have known the procedure required more time. I explained that I spoke with a staff member earlier, and no one had mentioned this issue. Instead of resolving the matter, she continued to explain what I had done wrong and why the practice was not at fault. After about 10 minutes of this, I asked a simple question: why was I asked to come in if they couldn’t accommodate my appointment? Carmen continued to deflect and insist the error was on my part. Ultimately, I was told they could not accommodate me. It’s unfortunate that an otherwise good practice allowed an employee’s behavior to overshadow my experience. While my first appointment was excellent, this visit made me feel unwelcome and unheard. It seems like the goal of the first appointment was to get me in the door, only to meet Carmen later. This experience was unprofessional and left a bad impression. I would strongly recommend training for staff on communication and customer service to ensure patients are treated respectfully and situations like this are handled better in the future. I called back the following week to speak to a manager, this is second call. Only Carmen picked up the phone, I explained I’m still waiting for a manager office. Supervisor anyone to call me back even a dentist. That was a couple of days ago. Still no call. Stand clear of this practice Update to review still waiting for a call back as of 12/24/24. It’s a shame the way they treat their clients. I believe Carmen, and the other associate’s did not relay the message. RED FLAGS WHEN YOU DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR PATIENTS

Fantastic experience: Dr. Gandhi and his team are INCREDIBLE! Highly recommend! My procedure was SO smooth, I did not feel a thing. We did an extraction of a root canal that had a gnarly infection, he cleaned it all out, utilized prf, ozone and red light therapy then stitched me up. No swelling or pain at my 24 hour follow up and I don’t expect much discomfort from here on out. Only up from here!! I was experiencing lack of energy, brain fog, lack of taste/smell, issues with my voice and dealing with some gut issues. I can’t wait to start feeling like myself again. I can’t thank you and your team enough Dr. Gandhi!! I will be back!!!
