Fantastic experience: My first visit to Value Dental was pleasant! By that I mean being white knuckled as I reached for the front door, once I entered I was put at ease right away. The visit turned out to be a relaxing experience! The costs are very affordable and the treatment required to be done can be whenever the patient is comfortable with it. No upscale pressure either!

Lastly, I was impressed by the price! $59 at your first visit (everything included!). I can’t wait to come back in July!

The office was clean, everyone was genuinely nice and Dr. Mark created a treatment plan with me, - actually With me, a plan that I can afford, not just the most expensive plan like other Dentists I’ve seen in the area! I’m really glad that I gave them a try! My Dentist for good now. Thank you to Mike and Dr Mark! Update 7/8/2024 I woke up on Saturday July 5 to a very sore upper right quadrant of my mouth, Sunday was worse. ( Holiday weekend, hurray!‍) I called at 6:30am on Monday because I couldn’t take it anymore and got worried. I left a message and the office called me back when they opened. They got me in just a short time later which I am so very thankful for! They gave me a number of options for my tooth, antibiotics and pain meds and I go back in two days to get the work started! Again, I am so grateful, and thankful to have found Value Dental! Thank you to Dr Mark, and to Jaimie too! So much compassion, So professional, kind as well! I’m in good hands I know! ( I was a Dental Assistant and Dental Lab Technician for 10+ years, many years ago, so I know that they know what they’re doing! 9/2024 More dental work done the other day and my review stands strong, great place, great people! Highly recommended, my only regret is not finding them sooner! Update! Dental cleaning done today 10/21/24! Excellent work, Ahmed was very thorough and very gentle. Once again, A great Dental office, I am so glad that I finally found them! Thank you! * Another update! Crown on molar. Dr Mark and Stephanie were great! Procedure went fast, virtually pain free - even the numbing injection wasn’t bad, I highly recommend them as usual!Thanks guys! * 6/12/25 My new crown was seated today! The temporary crown came off 2 days ago ( eating popcorn with a temporary crown is Not recommended!) anyway, Dr Mark had to adjust a tiny bit before seating the permanent crown. If your temp comes off - Call them! Don’t wait! Marie said that they would have put the permanent one in most likely instead of recementing the temporary! New crown is Great! Thanks again everyone! Great office! * NEW UPDATE! I had some concerns about a possible infection of a tooth involving my new-ish 3 tooth bridge. When I called they got me an appointment right away, Dr Mark requested an X-ray and the assistant did so - all while being very kind, professional and informative. Luckily everything is ok! False alarm, but it’s really comforting to know that they are always there, ready to help if needed! Thanks again guys, you are all awesome! Front desk too!

Fantastic experience: Went in for a cleaning and Rhonda is awesome! Also Dr.Bolhost pulled two teeth and said everything he was doing and also is amazing! I get very nervous with dentist and was very happy and will be back for the rest of my dental care. I highly recommend them. For some reason this didn’t post it was my last visit…. Today 7-15-25 I went in for a teeth cleaning with Rhonda again and she did an amazing job. Very gentle and made me laugh that was much needed. Thank you again Rhonda can’t wait for my next visit!

Fantastic experience: No issues with the exam and cleaning. Staff are very friendly. However, 5 days before my appointment I received a text asking me to fill out the patient paperwork on line prior to my appointment which I did. But when I arrived I had to fill out the SAME questionare as done on line! I should have just been able to sign a copy of the paperwork but was told they are unable to print the previously submitted data. This is not the fault of the staff, but someone needs to look into requesting the paperwork prior and then not using it! It takes several minutes to fill out the form.

Fantastic experience: I had an infected molar pulled, and packed with my stem cell which was created at value dental lab with my own blood, and then stitched up. I barely felt anything, even the needles that were put in my gum to numb me. It was the best experience I've ever had in my life at a dentist and I'm old.

Fantastic experience: I had an appt today 5/22, the wait was not long and the check-in was smooth. I was escorted to the exam room by Nick(awesome assistant)and it was a great experience; he was very knowledgeable and helped answer all of my questions and concerns. Once X-rays were done, I met with Dr. Bosco (super nice)he went over my X-ray’s and discussed a treatment plan. I have made my decision and I am looking forward for my next appointment.

The assistant did not introduce himself to me , so apologize for just calling him the assistant. I had my impression done for my permanent bridge and my crown done. I have my second temporary in and the final episode for my permanent bridge is in 2 weeks. Great Job Dr Mark and the assistant today. 5/5/25 Well I finally got my permanent bridge in today. I love it. Dr Mark is the Best Dentist I've ever had. Gentle, patient and great at what he does. The tech I had today was Mary ( I think) , she was great, very knowledgeable,patient and gentle. Fantastic experience: I have never been so comfortable in a dentist's office! I need a lot of dental work and was very nervous about my visit since past dentists have made me feel ashamed of my teeth. Dental insurance only covers so much and not everybody has the money, so I put off going back. Completely different story with Value Dental. Everyone was so nice and put me at ease before meeting with Dr. Boholst. Dr. Boholst was very kind, took his time and there was absolutely no judgement like past dentists. The true shining star of the office is Nick! What a great guy! Not only is he very personable, but he put me right at ease after I told him how nervous I was about the visit. Nick made sure that I was comfortable during the x ray process, carefully explained each step and actually made those horrible bitewing xrays less painful than they usually are. He also met up with me after the exam and explained Dr. Boholst's treatment plan step by step and helped me plan which I should take first.I highly recommend Value Dental.

Negative experience: Not sure how or why many people left 5 star reviews, but I can guarantee it is most certainly not the norm. The front office, try as they might, are polite until you get one having an “off” day that will bring down the entire experience from there forward. The few that do their jobs are a blessing, the others not so much. Having gone there for at least 6 or more visits, I can honestly say that this place runs like a cattle ranch. Stuff them in, milk them dry, shoot them out the exit. What started as a positive experience soon deteriorated into a complete waste of time. Cleanings are mostly a miss. The idea of dental hygiene is to ensure good oral health and preventative care which Value Dental has a love/hate relationship with. Most times, you’re in and out within 10-15 mins with nothing more than 2 pokes, a scrap, and a polish and that’s usually with X-Rays. If you’re used to 1-hour appts and a thorough cleaning that leaves your mouth feeling squeaky clean, you’ll be highly disappointed. They do less and want more and your mouth will wish it got the attention it deserved for the price. Doctor exams are more or less brush by or a flyover. Ghosts walking the halls. You’ll hear them but probably never see one except in passing. If you have insurance, maybe you get better care. Self-pay doesn’t, for sure. Three doctor exams in the time I have went there, three times of having the doctor literally stand over my head and look down into my mouth before leaving with a “cyah”. Never touching my mouth, never looking deeper inside, never once checking for cancer, wounds, chips/cracks, or swollen areas along the jaw. Buyer beware. You may get a decent one that takes more than 3 seconds with you, but the chances are better if you go to Vegas and spin the giant slot machine. When it comes to x-rays, expect less in regards to them actually going over them with you. They will constantly push for procedures instead of checking previous x-rays that show little to no change in specific areas. They will use scare tactics and expect you to follow suit for thousands of dollars of needless work even if the evidence is right there to the contrary. Do your homework if getting imaging done. Ask for copies, and utilize other offices you may have visited in the past to correlate with the “dental plan” because if you refuse or decide to take another route that they know will cost you less, you’re set adrift and they treat you as if you arrived with leprosy. Also, if you ever try to go to another dental office, expect to pay through the nose for your records to be sent there. Although, they are legally allowed to charge a “processing fee” for sending your records, via email I might add, it will be higher than any other dental place, hospital, or dr. office ever could be for whatever reason. Over $60 dollars for 4 x-rays to be attached to a 5 word email, isn’t just a bit much, it’s highway robbery. The value isn’t there, the dental isn’t there either for the most part. Go if you need to, but expect the bottom tier of quality care with just the faintest whisper of niceties.

Fantastic experience: Update... Aug 15, 24. Had my 3 tooth bridge come off. Scared it was broken. Drove in early am. No appt. Got there at 915 & I was in the chair at 940. I didn't break the bridge, glued back in olace. Out The door at 1030. Super team. Love em. Update: Aug.6, 2024.... Same as the below comments. Jason's my man. Everything as usual. On time appt, great staff, & great service. Plus the prices are the best. I drive fom St Pete to Spring Hill 3 times a year. Worth every penny of the gas. I have been going to Value Care, In Spring Hill for 8 years now. I live in St Pete. They are Great! Had partial done 5 years ago. Dentist in St Pete wanted $3600, after he broke the tooth off. A friend's referral sent me to Value Care. After examination, they quoted $2100. I agreed, the dentist immediately started the procedure. I was very pleased w dentist & received top notch care & service. 8 years later, the partial is fine. Where can you go & get x-rays, an exam & a cleaning for $70. Nowhere. I go 3 times a year for their service. Jason does my cleaning & is great. I highly recommend Value Care. They have their own lab, use only US made products. St Petersburg to Spring Hill is a long drive but worth the time. Top notch staff, service & deal w dental emergencies immediately. UPDATE Oct. 16, 23. Had part of a filling break off. Was really hurting. I called the office this AM. They immediately made a timely appt. Temporary crown in & cleaning. Out in 2 hours. As advertised. Quick, great service, staff great. Their lab is great & all the products us are from US. Jason's my go to man, for keeping my teeth clean & cared for April 2024 update. Great appointmentw Jason. See him 3 or 4 times a year for a cleaning. Staff fantastic, facility great. Prices very reasonable. I've driven from St Pete ti Springhill for 8 years for my dental care. Top notch.
