Fantastic experience: I got there a bit early and was seen right away. Very modern dental office and treatment rooms. A very professional dental assistant gathered all the pertinent information and Dr Berghuis came in right away. After running a few tests, she made the diagnosis. We set up the next visit for the treatment, cleared the payment with my insurance, and I was out of there in less than 30 minutes. Efficient, courteous, and professional. 10 out of 10.

Negative experience: They lie. They do not offer payment plans. They want money before they perform the service. My wife went in to try and get tooth filled which is most likely infected. They wanted a 1000 dollar crown and said they don't have time to work as it takes 90 minutes. Even tho my wife specified that to schedule an appointment to resolve this. They told her to come back at a later date with the infected tooth and to pay all the money. 1000 for an unnecessary crown. This company is so greedy and it's a joke they do not do payment plans. They have gone down over the years. My wife has gone here for 17 years. Dont waste your time or money they won't help you and will leave you penniless without empathy. We have good insurance too. So disgusted with the Greed of this company. Do not go here. If they ever make the best of Racine it's because they pay people to vote for them to be the best. Just go look at their very expensive building. They have no empathy and that's sick for someone who has had pain and can't afford something all at once. My wife was quoted 4000 dollars today. Now she suddenly needs extra things. It's money they do not give a crap about their patients. Also why even schedule an appointment if you are not willing to do the work and then to overcharge.

Fantastic experience: A crown fell out - they saw me sameday and explained what had happened in terms I could understan He was not able to fix it but gave me an alternative solution. Very quick

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing someone at Racine Dental for over 45 years. They continue to provide unmatched service in the Racine area. There staff is friendly, compassionate and caring. The facility is clean well maintained and a pleasure to visit.

Negative experience: I provided all the details of insurance Aetna PPO and online patient intake form weeks in advance and told the practice exactly what I wanted a simple cleaning. They refused to provide service because they failed to check with the Racine Dentist that just took x rays in April. They wanted to earn MORE money and pay for their machine by trying to force me into a full mouth of X-rays. I have very few cavities, excellent oral hygiene. X-rays every year. They failed to obtain the records. They failed to communicate with me in advance. These guys are all about billing not care! And for the practice if you don’t publicly post this I will do so separately. You wasted my time. Had you done your job and gotten the X-rays or communicated your failure to do so I would not have wasted my valuable time. I got up and left. I’ll find an Aetna advantage ppo dental practice that will do their job instead of trying to force me to have more harmful X-rays that are not needed.

Fantastic experience: I was SO relieved when I found out my new insurance covered services at Racine Dental Group. Dr. Emory and her team are so dedicated and caring, including the office staff. They're so very helpful. I plan to stay with them forever.

Fantastic experience: I was nervous about switching dentists because my last one was so excellent. This place made me feel welcomed, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I met with Dr Gorski, who was very knowledgeable, he took time to explain things and listen, and I never felt rushed.

Fantastic experience: Felt nervous and uneasy prior to appointment. But as usual, once I arrived, always received a courteous welcome and excellent care. I'm very appreciative for such service.

Negative experience: Nice people but this is a corporate dental group. They really have strict and strong policies. The corporation which purchased this dental group 2 years ago has over 200 other dental groups they own. For example if you are 15 minutes late you could be fined. I had to sign a document attesting to this. Needless to say I’m not coming back.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kemper is SO nice. He explains everything so well and quickly he made me feel at ease. He's very accommodating and does all he can to make me comfortable. I'm so happy I chose Dr. Kemper as my dentist.

Negative experience: Beware. Racine Dental Group's orthodontist will charge you for an orthodontic consultation (not treatment), and will bill you and your insurance without telling you. I was charged $230 for a simple xray to determine if my child might need braces ($115 was taken from the orthodontic amount from my insurance, and I was billed for $115.), Even though I was not informed they would do this, they would not reverse this charge. The business manager acknowledged that they are the only orthodontist that doesn't offer free consultations, that others have complained about this, but that upper management won't change their policy.

Fantastic experience: Saw Dr. Gorski to get a second opinion on a chronic problem with tooth implants. He carefully deliniated my options, costs, pros and cons. I appreciated his interest and problem solving approach. Good operation at the clinic.

Fantastic experience: I had a molar extracted and a tooth prepped for an implant. Dr. Rivas and his assistant were very gentle and efficient with the procedures. I had no swelling, no pain and no bleeding. I highly recommend him!!!

I gave you a lower rating because you decided to implement new Software for Patient Information and did not bother to transfer my info from your old system. I don't have the time to re-enter everything. Why do you need my Driver's License Number?

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Racine dental group for going on 15+ years now. I have followed them after they changed buildings, and still have nothing but good things to say. Have always felt great going here. Would recommend it to anyone looking for great care.

Negative experience: I made an appointment at Racine Dental Group to have all four of my daughter’s wisdom teeth removed. On the day of the procedure, I left work to take her to the clinic, but just before we left, I got an email saying the appointment was canceled. When I called, they told me there was no available doctor and asked me to reschedule. Though it was frustrating, I calmly booked a new appointment for a month later. When we came back, the price was more than triple the original quote. They said it was because the procedure was now scheduled with sedation. I told them we had clearly asked for local anesthesia, so they changed it back and we paid the expected amount. But once she was taken into the treatment room, the surgeon said he couldn’t perform it with local anesthesia and that we would need to find another doctor for local. This was shocking, as we had already gone over the plan with x-rays and agreed to local (I paid for the consult). We had no choice but to proceed with sedation, paying over $1,100 more. Our daughter was already in the chair and rescheduling again would have disrupted her school schedule. It felt like they pushed sedation just to benefit the doctor who works only with the sedation provider. We used to trust Racine Dental Group, and our family dentist is still excellent. But the oral surgery department is poorly managed, and the fact that the surgeon cannot perform procedures under local anesthesia raises serious concerns about his ability. We are now considering leaving Racine Dental Group. I do not recommend their surgery team.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jenny and her team are truly the best! They’re amazing with my energetic son and incredibly patient with my anxious daughter. They always know how to put them at ease while teaching them about dental health in a way they understand. We couldn’t ask for better care!

Fantastic experience: Awesome experience, I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly everyone was. I think I will like it here. I had 2 cavities filled today. Dr. Berghuis has a very soft touch and everything was so fast and I had no pain. I am typically terrified of the Dentist However, I was put to rest with the nitrous.

Fantastic experience: Dr Nowman and all staff I’ve been in contact with over the past year or so, have been superb - competent, friendly, and willing to patiently listen and answer all my questions. Dr N helped insure that a tricky implant crown was fitted with precision. Samantha, my hygienist, actually makes those routine but necessary visits pleasant. Very pleased.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kemper is EXCEPTIONAL! He is an AMAZING dentist and also goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. He is intentional about remembering details about your personal life too, which always makes you feel welcome in his office.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Siddiqui rocks! I especially appreciated that he listened to me. He communicated the information that he needed to get across and then, when he asked if I had questions, he gave me time to consider and respond. I also liked that he was real about my options; he didn't try to change my opinion; he worked with what I wanted and was able to tell me what he would do based on where I was at. He totally met me where I was versus trying to get me to accept s set course if action.

Fantastic experience: Dentist hour: I’m greeted by their welcoming office atmosphere, which calms my nerves during the brief wait, before I’m invited to the treatment chair. Then Betty, my only Hygienist, performs her dental hygiene magic with her gentle, expert care. Afterwards, knowledgeable Dr Gorski swoops in with a few words of encouragement and a thumbs up! I’ve just had another top-notch dental appointment experience.

Fantastic experience: I am so happy with Dr. Jay and his staff in the pediatrics department! My 18 month old has been having issues sleeping and eating for the past few months. She has seen 3 pediatricians and none of them were able to help me with this. Dr jay and his assist notice right away that she has a tongue tie, lip tie and crowding in her teeth. All of those things point to our struggles for the past few months. So very thankful for the answers they provided me with today!

Fantastic experience: The team was great. The anesthesiologist did a followup call to check later in the day. I was however dissappointed that the dentists office did not do any followup check, considering the extent of work that was done. Perhaps they wait awhile before checking up on recovery.

Fantastic experience: I had just had my 6 month checkup/cleaning the week before. My old tooth with the filling started acting up giving me a tremendous toothache. I called and they scheduled me for the visit within 24 hours. Found out I had abscess with infection. Put on powerful antibiotics. All is good.

Negative experience: I usually don’t leave reviews, but I wanted to share my recent experience. I had an 8:00 AM appointment and ended up waiting over 20 minutes while the waiting room cleared out — more than 9 people were seen before me. I understand delays happen, but I was frustrated since I had other obligations that morning and expected to be seen closer to my scheduled time. I hope the office can improve communication or scheduling in the future. I appreciate the care I’ve received in the past, but this visit left me disappointed.
