Fantastic experience: Dr Arora, was amazing and very patient with me throughout the treatment. She and her whole team help me overcome my anxiety and took great care of me during the procedure. I didn’t feel rushed at all the whole time unlike the other offices. As well as the office is well equipped, clean and very well organized. My wait time was almost zero as they had everything ready before my visit. Finally found a dentist office who genuinely care for their patients.

Negative experience: On today's visit, I left with the feeling that my business was not appreciated or even wanted there. This is because for the second time the dentist was abrupt and argumentative when I asked questions, showed no interest in my own concerns, lacked courtesy as she worked on me (ie, just dropping something on my lips without stating that I should open) and was a bit callous at the end of the visit. This is not the Dental Salon I once knew.

Negative experience: Don’t recommend this place for a regular general cleaning / check up. They said I had cavities and gingivitis when no other dentist I’ve gone to before or after said so. They said I would need surgery for my perfectly fine wisdom teeth, when no one else has stated that need, ever. Plus, they barely cleaned my teeth for 10 minutes- they didn’t feel cleaned at all. They are only searching for ways to make money, they do not prioritize true patient care as I also had to wait 30 minutes past my appointment time.

Negative experience: TL;DR trust your gut; I did not have as many cavities as they said. ETA: response accounts for one cavity and the difference of treatment plan. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this was such a weird vibe, I have to. I don’t think I have ever had the same dentist twice here. This didn’t bother me because I usually just come in for my cleaning and x-rays and call it a day. I have only had two small cavities in my life when I was 16 and got my braces off. They were under the very back molar band that surround the tooth and anchor the braces. I’m 33 and haven’t had a cavity since or prior. I went for my cleaning and x-rays last week, and I was told I have four cavities that need to be drilled and filled and a few others that don’t need to be dealt with yet. I’m not saying I can’t get cavities, but it was a shock to go from none for 16/17 years to four! When I asked to show me where they were, I was showed a vague shadow on the x-rays. When I asked if there were any that showed up on last year’s x-rays, I was told no but last year’s were film and this year’s are digital. I didn’t get what that was supposed to mean. I felt like my questions were silly. Nonetheless, I left with a treatment plan to drill and fill four teeth. I went to another dentist for a second opinion who was so nice to do another set of x-rays, took pictures, and reviewed them with me in detail. They also had AI assistance with the x-rays which was kind of cool, so I was able to see exactly what the dentist was seeing and referring to. No vague shadows referenced. During this evaluation, I was told I had ONE cavity developing, and it would be more damaging to drill it as is and it would be better to watch it. Huge difference from Dental Salon’s determination. Glad I trusted my gut.

Negative experience: I had a terrible experience. I called your office yesterday, I am your patient. They told me that any of your doctors could extract my tooth. Despite all my x-rays and CT scans, after traveling for an hour and a half, the doctor in front of me said, ‘Oh no, we can’t extract it, sorry.’ I can’t believe such unprofessionalism.

Negative experience: I had expected my x-rays and cleaning to take an hour as indicated online, but it took nearly twice as long. They had to re-do my x-rays as the first didn't come out right, which meant waiting 30 more minutes for someone to finally notice me. I was eventually seen by a different specialist who informed me that the dentist I had scheduled with was running late. Staff were perfectly attentive and friendly, but the actual cleaning felt rushed despite the long wait, like they were just trying to get me out of there as fast as possible. My experience might have been out of the ordinary, but it's all that I can base my assessment on.

Negative experience: Don't usually review places but I have to at this point. I received 2 root canals here within the past 2 years. Both which I have now had to get retreated and surgery on one. Both crowns placed and on my teeth at dental salon had gaps and margins which could have contributed to needing retreatment. Some of the doctors here are nice but the guy who owns it was very inconsiderate and rude when putting on my crown and I was in agony and pain. I left there crying and feeling horribly. Now I'm down $4,000 from this whole experience.

Fantastic experience: My first appointment was the most pleasant experience I've ever had a dental office. I really appreciate the care, attention, and patience of all the medical and administration staff!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Gajendrareddy and his staff were excellent. A gum graft is never a fun procedure or recovery, but from the pre-op consult through the post-op check-ups, they managed my case with utter expertise, patience, and care. Dr. Gajendrareddy even called me personally the evening after the procedure to check how I was doing! I'm so glad I chose this office to undergo this procedure and would highly recommend to anyone seeking the highest-quality care for your own periodontal and dental care.

Fantastic experience: The staff is very welcoming at the Chicago location. The dentist and his assistant did a wonderful job at helping me prepare for an orthodontic consultation. I had a cleaning and X-rays. They even emailed the results to the orthodontist. I am very grateful and appreciative of all the assistance I received.

Fantastic experience: Dental Salon has been my Dental spot for over 5 years.and igoing there always makes me feel like my mouth is in good hands. The kind and courteous staff is always explaining each procedure as plainly as can which that makes it more stress free to sit in any Dental chair. To add to the patient’s satisfaction is the clean modern ambiance that looks always clean and inviting. I would and have recommended this place to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend this place enough. The dentist gave the most through cleaning to the biggest baby in the world (me) when it comes to dental care. Dental salon made me feel comfortable and explained pricing with my insurance right up front. They treated me amazing even knowing I’m going to be a pain. You really can’t ask for more of a dentist but to make you comfortable when you’re the most uncomfortable. Dental Salon does that. Plus, the office is clean, welcoming and fresh Highly recommend

Updated Review 10/28/2024: I’ve been going to Dental Salon for a few years now! I’ve had a lot of services done here, including a root canal recently. Their pricing is actually reasonable in comparison to another dental practice closer to my neighborhood. The other day I came for a cleaning and inquiry about a tooth/ gum sensitivity and left with an answer and solution- thanks to the dentist that was working that day! I don’t know his name because that was my first time meeting him, but he was great.

Fantastic experience: Everyone at the Dental Salon is so very professional and knowledgeable about dentistry from the doctors to the dental hygienist. It is a very pleasant atmosphere warm and inviting. I have a client for over ten years and I am now 75 years old and still treated like a Queen! Negative experience: I’ve been coming to this location for over 10 years. I’ve referred my family, my coworkers and my friends. I’ve seen many doctors come and go. After my most recent I made the decision before I walked out of your office that I would not return. Dr. Diaz was unfriendly, not helpful or considerate and borderline rude. I feel like I had been scolded and done something wrong. She questioned why I was there for a cleaning when I should have scheduled with the periodontist. She came off as irritated that she had to service me. Scheduling has has always been done before I left your office so I was confused. She was irritated from the start. The assistant Sam was just as aloof as the doctor. They showed more kindness to each other than they did to me. I’ve never experienced such poor service at your office. However Nicole at the front desk was lovely, pleasant, friendly, welcoming, and was very disheartened to hear that I am ending my relationship with your location. I travel a long distance to come to your office to be treated with a cold shoulder by the doctor and assistant. FYI:Dr. Cyriac was the best dentist that was ever there. Hopefully I can locate the office she serves.

Fantastic experience: Great visit! Bummed to hear that Dr. Stec will be moving permanently to Austin, but Dr. Boutros saw me on short notice due to discomfort in a tooth and was very detailed and thorough!

Negative experience: Pros: the views outside only...but then you aren't typically going to a dentist to get great lake views are you? Cons: lack of follow up, retuning calls, follow through with obtaining verification through your insurance for additional services to be approved. Lack of accountability in accepting responsibility from the Business Office Mgr for whomever dropping the ball on multiple occasions when coordinating care. Difficult to locate the office due to lack of signage outside. The actual dental care/services was just average at best.

Fantastic experience: The dentist at The Dental Salon are detailed and careful. The hygienists are pretty good with cleaning and polishing teeth. The staff are friendly and they care about your comfort. I've been a client for awhile. Any procedure I need, I'm not worried because they have the good stuff that gets you numb and comfortable. I forgot, reception really supports and takes care of the client also.

Negative experience: I waited 2 .months to do this review in hopes the dental salon would reach out to me after my email to them. Been going for 12 to 13 years last experience with Dr Stec was a nightmare. I told him how I felt, afterwards he argued his points while looking away during our conversation....rude , arrogant and unprofessional. No human being should be in that much pain that long. I called over and over to the point I had to go to urgent care 2x. A different Dr. Put me on hbp meds when this doc should've recommended a root canal long before he did. Dental salon was emailed and I asked them.to make it right no response. Much more to my story but it's not what it use to be at Dental Salon. Go somewhere else! They lost me, my hubby and others. Also not bbb accredited. I literally felt like I was going to die. My bp went so high I had headaches and blurred vision. I called so many times just to be told use a special mouthwash wash, then a dental guard and water pik. Was scheduled to have crowns put in I called them 2x and told them I'm still in pain taking naproxen for almost a month. How could they let me stay in pain stead of giving me a root canal? Pure evil...root canal wasn't recommended until a month later. Day of crowns put in Dr. Stec completed his work. Very uncomfortable after having the conversation above prior to surgery. I prayed this man would do right by me. I hate the dentist but this salon restored my faith in them just to give me a terrible experience and now I no longer trust them. No one seem to care how a faithful patient could become upset. No follow up, His assistant was musty...she kept lifting that arm of hers. Dr Stec finised and said good afternoon as he left the room and his musty assistant left my bibb on. The assistant just left me there. I'm still sore behind his work and that was 2 months ago...smh Update.....6/19 Dental salon decided to respond here instead to my email i sent sometime ago. Obviously what I said went over your head no where did I insinuate financing. I've sent your company a private email in hopes of some sort of decency on Dental salon's part to make it right. An apology would've been appropriate not responding to me here. Had you looked at the email and simply reached out to let me know there was never an intention on Dr. STEC OR DENTAL SALONS PART FOR ME TO SUFFER as long as I did. Their other things I failed to mentioned in my comments. Dr stec was the only reason I was going there; now he's the main reason why me and my husband won't. Count yourself too Dental salon owner. Very unprofessional on your part to accuse me of blackmail. It's obvious you folks don't follow up because if you did you would've saw I emailed you some time ago, but you choose to respond here instead smh. I've saved that email with time stamp.

Fantastic experience: My employer recently changed health & dental insurance providers. I stuck with the EPO option, in order to save some $$$. Unfortunately, in spite of what their searches say (on the provider's website), most dental practices in Chicago (downtown) refuse to take anything BUT PPO plans. However, on the 9th call, I found Dental Salon (North Ave branch). Rebecca was most kind, took my info, and called me back to tell me that they take my insurance! So, I went this past Wednesday and I was floored by the professionalism of Levi, Ruthie, and Dr. Johnson. They were the nicest people ever! Very skilled at what they were doing, too. I never (unlike the previous dental practice I used closer to home that took my previous coverage) felt pressurized to accept a referral for the Periodondist, accept a pricey deep clean, buy an expensive electric toothbrush, etc. I'm definitely going back for a Periodontist consultation (they told me upfront the consultation fee, too) next month. I am so glad I stumbled upon Dental Salon, even if it involves riding the CTA Red Line train. LOL. ;-) I recommend this place.

Having to go to dentist visits makes my anxiety go sky high so I’m incredibly appreciative of every one of them and how they always check in and ask if I’m ok. It really puts me at ease. Fantastic experience: Dr. Cavada and his team were very friendly. There was no time wasted from arriving to the appointment and getting seated. The initial examination was thorough and he provided great tips on how to maintain a proper teeth cleaning regiment.

Negative experience: i had a filling done with dental salon Schaumburg. then I received note that dental salon is not taking the insurance anymore. So, I went to another dentist. New dentist pointed out that I need filling done after i took x-ray and oral examination. Turns out it's the same tooth I had a filling done a few months ago. I went to dental salon Schaumburg where I had my filling done. According to Dr Arora, it does not cover, and I will be charged 230 dollars for the oral exam and x-ray which i originally paid. Next day I received a call from management of dental salon pretending to help me. They told me that I must get x-ray and oral exam done before dental salon can assist ($69.99 cost) which I already have from a new dentist. Even if I pay that amount, it doesn't guarantee that they will help me since there are so many variables in oral hygiene and anything can happen. At my last dental cleaning, I asked DR Arora to check my filling, and she said there were no issues and that the filling was gone after 5 months. In general, fillings should last 5+ years, but mine have lasted less than a year. Mark Morris (owner, I believe) reviewed the X-ray and said nothing was wrong. I didn't need a filling if the tooth was not bothering me. My tooth never bothered me, but a dental salon recommened a filling, and my new dental office also recommended a filling(I believe mark is not a real doctor) . My filling needs to be done in order to prevent further damage.

Fantastic experience: Used to hate the dentist to the extent that I avoided it for years. Dr Khanna has been extremely pleasant to visit since I started seeing him a couple years ago. I had a significant amount of work to get done and each visit he clearly articulated what work was going to be done and what we still had ahead. Unfortunately I am moving out of the state in the next 6 months or so and am sad to go but I have greatly appreciated Dr Khanna and everyone in the Dental Salon office

Negative experience: I’m a senior citizen with Medicare insurance, scheduled a new patient appointment with the Dental Salon to see a periodontist for deep cleaning. I was informed that I needed a referral but I didn’t have one, so the person I spoke with suggested a general dentist could do the cleaning. I knew X-rays would be required, so I asked if I could submit X-rays from a previous dental exam from May 24, 2023, and was told that would be OKAY! The previous dentist was willing to give me copies, to take to my appointment, and the Dental Salon agreed to accept them. Suddenly to my surprise, the dental salon said because I hadn’t had X-rays in over a year ( not true!) supposedly according by dental insurance, the dental salon would need to take new X-rays. So reluctantly, I agreed to take the new X-rays so the CLEANING could proceed as scheduled. Well, that didn’t HAPPEN. After the X-ray technician completed taking the X-rays, I sat there far too long waiting for the dentist to do the cleaning. Finally she came in, had me open my mouth, and said she wouldn’t be doing the cleaning today! She spent maybe five minutes with me, only to refer me to periodontist! Well, you came imagine how I felt at that moment! I wasted my time, took off from work!!! I went along with this charade, given some lame excuse as to why they didn’t! You see, in the PAST, I have had deep cleaning done by a general dentist! This wasn’t my first RODEO! I knew a general dentist could perform the deep cleaning! So, be careful NOT to underestimate a CONSUMER! MY TIME IS IMPORTANT TO ME! It was wasted on this visit. I called Medicare about my previous X-rays, and she saw the X-rays from May 2023!!!! I had proof!!! Now, once again my MEDICARE will be charged for X-rays, BUT not for the SPECIFIC reason I was there for. Not going back!

Fantastic experience: Loved my visit at Dental Salon. I just moved to Chicago from Florida and had to change my dentist. Dr. Shah is so talented she was quick and efficient, I would recommend Dental Salon to anyone. The staff is friendly and they offer great deals to their customers. Will definitely return here for my future appointments.

Fantastic experience: Very impressed with Dental Salon Schaumburg. Have had much dental work done there. Dr. Arora and her assistants always are personable and caring. Just had 2 crown preps done with zero pain. It is a pleasure to not only find such dedicated professionals, but at prices that patients of average means can afford!

Negative experience: Avoid this place. I went here during the pandemic. I had damaged a tooth and needed it removed. I was told the tooth was fine. Went back a month later with an abscess and the psycho dentist pushed as hard as he could on the abscess and then told me it wasn't even that that swollen. Proceeds to floss my teeth as rough as he could and sent me home with no plan to remove the tooth or with antibiotics for the infection. Needless to say 2 years later I have lost 5 of my bottom teeth due to the massive infection that proceeded to happen after he refused to treat me. ***Cue the nasty response from the practice. Look very closely at how this practice responds to people they have neglected - also note how they threaten legal action. You shouldn't be allowed to be open anymore . ***update - you hope I feel better? I lost 5 teeth because you all refused to remove one tooth. It has cost me insane amounts of trauma and pain not to mention the amount of money I’m spending to get implants. You all are insane, and should be shut down for malpractice .

Negative experience: This place has gone way downhill. I have loved going to this dental salon for years however, whatever new changes have been implemented have destroyed the reputation they used to have. My visit today, which will be my last, took almost 2 hours for a cleaning. The dentist performed his check of my teeth within 90 seconds and sprayed water all over me and joked that it was a shower. I take excellent care of my teeth, never have had a cavity or any work done. He then began was pushing additional work (fillings) as preventative and not necessary. I would definitely not recommend wasting your time and money here.

Positive experience: The dent dentist was very attentive and did everything reasonable to try to figure out why I had tooth pain. She also followed through with concern for me at a follow up appointment. The entire staff made my experience as pleasant as possible.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Dental Salon for many years, and have never had a bad experience. They're always timely, friendly, and precise with everything they do. I've had a tooth transplant done by Dr. Stec & graphing done by Dr. Reddy. Both doctors and all staff were great throughout the experience.

Negative experience: I went here one time due to insurance reasons that prevented me from seeing my normal dentist and had a very bad experience. The person taking x-rays took forever and didn't know what they were doing. The person that did the cleaning was half asleep. I wouldn't have left a negative review if they did not try to convince me I had a ridiculous amount of cavities they wanted to schedule to fill. I showed my x-rays to my regular dentist and he assured me I had nothing that needed to be worked on. Seems more like a scam wanting to do unnecessary work for payment.

Negative experience: Something felt very off with my visit. I just went in for a routine cleaning and the woman who started my cleaning was incredibly friendly and personable, but when the regular dentist came in, I believe it was Dr. Khanna, the rest of the visit was not what I was expecting. He was nice, but I was caught off guard when he and the receptionist tried to sell me on a deep cleaning, which I have never had in my life. The deep cleaning would require multiple visits and cost me money out of pocket. It seemed really inappropriate to upsell me on this, especially on my first visit. When I declined and decided to go with a regular cleaning, the rest of the cleaning was very fast and painful. Not once did the dentist ask if I was uncomfortable, and it felt like he was just rushing through the process to get me out of there. Finally, I was advised to come back in 4 months instead of the standard 6 months for cleaning. It felt like I was being taken advantage of and the cleaning itself was painful and unpleasant.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Dental Salon for a few years now, even after we moved further away but making the trek to Dental Salon is always worth it because the vibe there is truly wonderful: I'm always greeted warmly, all of the staff is incredibly kind, and my dentist, Dr. Khanna, is knowledgable, efficient, and always makes me feel reassured when we go into a procedure, no matter how anxious I feel beforehand. Going to the dentist is never a fun experience, but I truly feel at ease going here, whether it's for a root canal or just a regular cleaning.

Fantastic experience: I have panic disorder, HPPD, anxiety, and I was in benzodiazipine (anxiety medication) withdrawal, the professionalism, the courtesy of the staff who assisted Dr. Azzam (Who was diligent, patient, smart, productive, and a dentist I have already referred to friends) made this experience unfathomably easier than the torture I was expecting in my anxious state. Teresa at the front desk was extremely helpful with helping me and my little brother pay with the card on file as we had forgotten our cards at home and Ebony the dental assistant made sure I was comfortable and reassured me the whole time. Most professional dental workers I have had the pleasure of being treated by.

I experienced a bit of miscommunication surrounding my appointment and the customer services I received from their team in response was timely and thoughtful. I’ve had A LOT of work done through the years, but I’m finally seeing results. Fantastic experience: Best dental visit I’ve ever had, from the moment I walked in Meena was so welcoming and friendly. Dr. Lavagnolli is every bit of amazing, her attention to detail and service was impeccable. She was so personable which made me feel like she cared and I wasn’t just another number. Krystal was awesome as well, she was so delicate and made sure I was comfortable throughout my cleaning. To top it off, in the consultation room Dr. Lavagnolli literally went over every tooth to make sure I was well informed. I’ve never experienced that in the history of my dental visits. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at the Chicago office of The Dental Salon for over 10 years. Someone who has always been phobic about entering a dental office, my experience at Dental Salon completely reversed this sentiment. The entire organization is well run, professional, friendly and always sensitive to patient's condition and circumstances. The practice operates with a value on complete transparency with their clients. All procedures, as well as, fees are discussed from the start and updated as necessary. In other words, there are no surprises and one feels that they are a participant in their dental treatment. My own dentist, Dr. Stec is a superior clinician and engenders complete confidence and trust. Keysha, his dental assistant is professional and warm showing concern for the patient. Teresa, who works the front desk is the first person one encounters and provides an excellent introduction to the practice with her warm and professional disposition. Always ready to help, always ready to answer questions and provide the best counsel possible. I can't recommend Dental Salon highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Dr Cyriac and her team (Elyse, Emily and Lana) - I appreciated the time spent answering my questions and feel I understand how they arrived at their conclusions about my personal needs. Fantastic experience: This dental practice is professional, efficient, and friendly. We have come the past couple of years and have found their cash prices very reasonable for preventative care. Everyone I’ve interacted with - front desk, dental assistant, dental hygienist, and Dr. Stec have been very nice and skilled. Historically, I’ve needed multiple bite wings redos, long cleanings, etc from other practices, but staff know what they’re doing here and don’t prolong the process. Parking is abundant, and the location is convenient. We’ll continue to come here.

She was very pleasant and as someone who gets anxiety from going to the dentist, this was a very pleasant experience. Negative experience: I was able to find Dental Salon as an in-network provider on the insurance site with my plan and accepting new patients. As a new patient, Dental Salon had troubles finding my insurance details. They texted me to obtain my insurance details for verification and later confirmed my appointment via text. Please note - those texts were not system-generated “do-not-reply” texts. I took time off and get there for my scheduled appointment. When I get there, I was informed that they have stopped taking new patients with HMO. They said that they have sent an email notifying me a couple of days ago. I admit I must have missed the email. It’s because I’ve been communicating with them through texts! I really wish their communication could have been more efficient so I didn’t have to waste my time off. Also, please update your info with the insurance company.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Stec is amazing! I was super nervous. He talked me through each step and made sure that I was comfortable with the results. I feel very confident for the first time in a while. I'd recommend him to anyone!

Fantastic experience: After I received two different treatment approaches from two different periodontists, I sought a consultation with a faculty practitioner at University of Illinois Dental School to get more information. That consultation finally led me to Dr. Reddy, who clearly explained to me why he recommends the treatment I'll now be receiving with him. He is saving me thousands (no exaggeration) of dollars, though that's not his goal: his primary goal is my health. I am so glad I patiently sought out additional opinions and grateful I finally found Dr. Reddy. All the staff at the Dental Salon were professional and warm. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I cannot begin to say enough wonderful things about the Dental Salon team. Not only was Dr. Khanna incredible in taking care of my ~38 year old baby tooth and implant but the entire team there was amazing! Nicole was so nice and super helpful with getting all my insurance sorted out in a very quick turn around. I also cannot say enough about how Denise kept me informed in the whole process and really made me feel beyond comfortable! My husband and I both go here and we have had a very busy dental year and I can't imagine having gone anywhere else! UPDATE 10/7/2022 - I have to go back for a filling replacement this week! (Should add that they did not do the original filling - it was decades old) The whole team was amazing as always! They remembered me personally, were beyond helpful in making me comfortable, getting me in and out quickly so I could get to work, and overall just the best! Denise continues to be amazing and Nicole at the front desk was awesome helping me make sure my insurance covered the bulk of the cost!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Dr. Khanna at Dental Salon. I was in need of getting a tooth removed and then prepared for an implant. I struggle with anxiety and was definitely nervous leading up to the appointment. Dr Khanna was very patient with me. He talked me through the entire procedure and let me know about our progress. He checked in with me often and really put me at ease. He made the entire experience very manageable. My follow up recovery has also gone quite well. Prior to leaving the office he made sure I knew how to care for the tooth and took extra time to answer all my questions. I would (and have) highly recommend Dr Khanna and Dental Salon to others.

Fantastic experience: I had a really bad tooth ache for several days but I did not have a regular dentist that I went to. I tried scheduling an appointment at a couple different dentist offices near my house but no one would take me until at least 3 weeks. I was able to locate Dental Salon in Chicago which was only a few blocks away and they were able to schedule me right away. I ended up with a root canal and I now have a permanent crown. I was treated by Dr. Shaikh and she was amazing. She made me feel comfortable and treated me as more than just another patient. Her assistants have all been wonderful as well and I couldn't have asked for a better team of professionals. I have since scheduled more work on my teeth and I am glad to have found a new dentist office that I can regularly visit. Thank you Dental Salon!

Fantastic experience: I've been here twice now and it was an excellent experience both times. I hope to continue receiving dental services here! The last time I visited, I misjudged my travel times and arrived almost an hour early to my appointment. Ana at the front desk was incredibly accommodating. I shared that I was willing to wait, that it was my fault I misjudged the time, but minutes after I sat down, the dental assistant Lana came out and took me in for my cleaning. This was absolutely above and beyond what they needed to do since I was so early. Thanks for saving me some time that day and for the excellent services!

Fantastic experience: Excellent, professional services. I called in for an emergency service to take out a wisdom tooth, and the receptionist kindly secured the earliest spot for me. I am a very pain-sensitive person, but Dr. Stec was very professional. The process was quick and rather painless. Keysha the front desk, Lana the dental assistant, the lady who did my the panel scanning, and the lady who instructed me on post-surgery treatment were all kind, friendly, and helpful. I would love to return!

Negative experience: I didn’t realize it was possible to have so many issues with a dental practice. Over the last three years, they have gotten progressively worse and less reliable. A few months ago, I had 2 appointments canceled with one days notice with no option to reschedule for another month. The only time I’ve ever had a dentist accidentally give me a massive cut on my lip (she screamed and later applied ointment to the area. I had a huge scab on my face for a week) is at this practice. The same dentist scheduled me for a “cleaning”, I came and she did the cleaning then as I go to check out, the front desk informed me it was a deep cleaning and I owed 500 dollars. Obviously I wasn’t super happy about that but I tried to rationalize that I needed a deep cleaning eventually anyway. I paid the money. Then when I got home, I looked at my teeth and there was still stuff on them. I had to go again to see a different person to redo the cleaning. The SAME DENTIST put a crown on me about a year ago and it still hurts to eat on that side of my mouth. I was switched to a different dentist and hygienist who both seem perfectly fine. I had an appointment scheduled for today and when I got my reminder call, I made sure to ask the receptionist if I’d have a copay or any charges because money is incredibly tight for me right now. She said no. So I took time out of my day and left work to come down today and as I’m checking in, the receptionist tells me I’m going to be charged 79 dollars for todays services. I asked to speak to a manager and was told they were “out of office.” I said to cancel all future appointments, that I was done with this practice and walked out. I’m absolutely done with this place. There are some nice people but it’s incredibly hit or miss, you aren’t guaranteed to receive competent care and the business/administrative side is a complete mess.

A worsening broken tooth finally brought me in and I was treated with absolutely no judgement by Dr.Patel! She was thorough and answered all my questions. Fantastic experience: Amazing service, Dr. Khanna was wonderful. Made my visit very comfortable and stress free. Had a 2 hour procedure and was comfortable throughout. Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dental Salon for probably about 8 years. I just had a visit to fix an old broken filling. The front desk staff that day, Nicole and Teresa, were kind, professional and fun (we talked about people not being able to drive in the rain) and Dr. Groh and her dental assistant Krystal are always fantastic. Specifically, Dr. Groh has fixed a couple of cavities on my front teeth and made me feel better about my overall smile and appearance. This visit was more of the same!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Groh is the best dentist I've ever had, she's gentle, she's patience, she genuinely cares holistically, she everything you want and deserve from a Dentist and it's been wonderful having her as my dental provider. Nicole and Krystal provided excellent patient care from the Front Desk to the Dental Chair and back!

Fantastic experience: I had to go in for what I thought would be an emergency root canal, and ended up needing a tooth extraction. I have terrible anxiety when it comes to the dentist, but Dr. Groh was incredibly kind and patient, and checked in with me regularly to make sure I was comfortable and okay. The dental assistant, Krystal, was the exact same way. I highly recommend both of them!

Fantastic experience: I needed a root canal for an abscess, and I specifically booked Dr. Stec as he did a great job on a prior crown. Just as with the previous procedure, the Dr. and his co-worker kept me comfortable as they performed the procedure in amazing time. I was out of the chair and pain-free in no time. Fantastic experience: I've enjoyed my time at Dental Salon thus far. Not only is it convenient to my house but they have great availability. The staff like Nicole and Kailey were super friendly and answered my questions while waiting on the doctors. Each doctor I've met with has been extremely kind and willing to answer questions I may have as well. My experience for a cleaning made it a no brainer to have them do my Invisalign as well.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming here for a few years now, and I always have a great experience. This last visit Brittany in the front started a great experience. Nicole and Dr Khanna continued with great care. Very personable, and you get to look supper cool in some sunnies so the lights aren't in you're eyes the whole time.

Negative experience: I went in to get my annual checkup and some minor tarter buildup on my bottom teeth. Dr. Patel kept insisting on getting a deep cleaning. I did not want to pay out of pocket and Instead asked for a regular cleaning instead. Not once did she attempt to remove any tarter. All they did was minor brushing which was done poorly as well. It seemed she was not happy I did not want to move forward with the procedure. Her demeanor changed when I denied her recommendation. She also neglect to check with my insurance before giving me a quote, not realizing deep cleaning is only covered every 2 years with my insurance. (I already went through the procedure in July of 2020). I wonder if she did realize my Insurance would not cover the procedure, would she have clean the build up then? This is by far the worst experience I've encountered at a dentist. No quality customer service unless the payout is worth their time. This is why I prefer the suburbs, Quality dentists and most of all HONEST!

I refer everyone to the Dental Salon because they care about patients and have hours that allow me to prioritize my dental health. Dr. Reddy is a superior practitioner. Fantastic experience: From start to finish this was truly an exceptional experience. It’s not every day that I would make that claim about going to the dentist! From check in pleasantries, to a very thorough cleaning, and a dentist herself that is knowledgeable, patient, and super comforting, I feel very lucky to have found this place. The dentist even answered questions about my toddler! Way above and beyond. And at the end of the appointment the front desk staff went out of their way to make sure my next visit was just as I requested. Also, I’m not sure I’ve ever Even written a review before on Google. They were that good for me to take the time to do this.

Fantastic experience: I love the friendliness and professionalism of this office! It's been a few years since I had a visit, but no one made me feel guilty about that. The staff may have changed, (in terms of new faces) but the professionalism has not! Keysha, and Peter, both helped me feel cared for. Especially Keysha. I was nervous! But, she did an excellent job of doing the X-rays quickly, as well as trying her best to make me as comfortable as she could. Her attention to detail, helped my nerves! Dr. Khanna had to deliver some bad news,...but he did so in a graceful way, giving me options and time to think about what I need to do. He also helped normalize what I was going through.

Fantastic experience: This was the first time I had been to a dentist since before the pandemic, and I was very impressed. Everything was clean, the staff were all very kind, and I was out of there quickly. I was also given options for further care given my situation and wasn’t pressured into them at all. Looking forward to my next visit.

Positive experience: While I had to be rescheduled a couple of times, everyone was very nice and helpful. Fantastic experience: Gentle thorough cleaning. Dr Khanna was great. On future visits he extracted a large busted molar with no problems. He identified the effects of a sleeping disorder I did not know I had. My MD confirmed and I got help. He carefully fitted a new crown for an implant. Skillful work, modest and down to earth. My mouth looks and feels better.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Dental Salon for a while and I was treated by Dr. Cyriack and dental assistant Gabriela. Both of these ladies were excellent. They were extremely pleasant and great with children. Gabriela was the first dental assistant who was able to floss ALL of my teeth, even the slightly tighter back molars, AND do it gently. She even had my daughter’s approval! I hope to see them both in 6 months for my next checkup and cleaning.

Fantastic experience: I needed to have a crown replaced. The appointment was made for a date that was convenient for me. I was greeted warmly at the front desk and my insurance information was processed efficiently and I was informed of my out-of-pocket responsibility. I was escorted to the dental chair by the Assistant who exchanged pleasantries and prepared me for the procedure. I was in the dental chair 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment time. Dr. Stec arrived several minutes later, explained the procedure to me in detail and asked if I had any questions. The procedure went extremely well and was completed in 30 minutes. I have been Dr. Stec’s patient for 13 years and I’ll keep coming back.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Khanna is amazing! As long as he works here, I will be going to see him at Dental Salon for my teeth! After my previous dentist completely closed their doors with no warning, I was extremely hesitant when trying to find a new dentist in Chicago. I found Dental Salon through my insurance, and it seemed to have the best reviews. It did not disappoint! The receptionist discussed my options and was kind and courteous while I babbled anxiously about my concerns for my teeth. He explained I could choose an emergency visit (get in ASAP) or wait for the one I scheduled, and I ended up waiting. Then, the practice sends a Google questionnaire to your email, asking you questions about your past dental experiences, particularly any traumatic or negative experiences. I went into depth on this, and Dr. Khanna read my responses and asked me about them. He clearly explained what he was doing, the purpose of the different tools/cleaning methods, and would switch to a manual tool when I experienced (unavoidable) pain because of the plaque build up. Both he and his assistant were fantastic, comforting, and answered all my questions. I'm very comfortable with this choice, and I've convinced my roommate to check them out next!

Yuri is great! The dental hygenists are also fantastic. Additionally, as transgender person I felt very seen and considered. They asked my pronouns and consistently have been great about it.
