Negative experience: horrible! The receptionist NEVER gets back to you despite leaving numerous voicemails. I called to see if they finally had a hygienist or not ( it's been over 2 years I've been waiting!!! ) I never got a call back, no update, NOTHING. Dr. goes patient to patient like a mad women with no care or concern for the patients comfortability or well being. It feels like a factory in there ( and not a good one at that ) The energy always feels like they are just trying to get your appointment over with, no matter the scenario.

Negative experience: First time going here, sat the expected wait time for New patients which is about 1.5hrs. Thennn after that wait, got xrays done, the xray room was dirty, the wall was lined with black spots, (not claiming its mold but take as you please) then got walked to the “hygiene room” which felt like I was in a nursery with a dental chair and computer, but beside the fact, after that whole wait and process, I then got asked why I was there, so I told the Dr, unsure of her name at this time because she never introduced herself or said anything when arriving into this “room” or you could say booth. As I was showing her where my tooth pain was coming from because she never asked herself, she pushed my hand out of the way and puts a finger in my mouth, touches my tooth with said finger, says “okay, ill refer to an oral surgeon for wisdom teeth and an orthodontist for the rest” MIND YOUUU my wisdom teeth DONT bother me and are NOT crowded, and are completely out of the area of pain. so a complete waste of a dentist. Oh and cant forget the obnoxiously loud music and obnoxiously loud dental assistants.ANDDD the random guy on the phone just walking all around the back where myself and other patients are being seen (so much for the no phone policy due to HIPPA) and touching my mothers arm while looking at her tattoos. awful experience. Ill see the oral surgeon for my one specific tooth but will never go back to Valley Dental.

Negative experience: At first i thought they were friendly semi quick services… however after they told me i had to pull all my teeth because they were bad they collected money for temps and then told me i had to go else wheres to get teeth removed… the oral surgeon said my teeth are perfectly fine and fixable no need to remove them… took over a year to get money back!!!

Negative experience: Came for the first time to this office two weeks ago, after explaining on the phone I had some sensitivity and believed I may need a filling. At my first apt, I waited between two waiting rooms for almost an hour to be seen. Finally, they bring me to a room and do a few X-rays and then sat me in a chair to wait for the dr for another 15 minutes. She asked what was wrong, and then spent less than 1 minute looking in my mouth and stated I needed 2 fillings. I should’ve trusted my gut right then and not come back, considering she barely looked at my teeth and I had a bad feeling from the entire place, but I just set up another apt to have the fillings done because it’s the only place local that accepts my dental insurance. Today I went in for my apt, and after arriving I signed the sign in sheet and was told to sit and wait to be called. I get called in to see the dr, and immediately they stuffed two cotton swabs with numbing cream in my mouth after sitting me in the chair. They strap on a bib and put a sucker in my hand and say “in case you need this” and then walk off. I don’t know what the heck I’m doing with this, but sure. Ten minutes later, they come over with patient forms and point to the line to sign; no other explanation of what I was signing. No chance to read the papers. Again, I felt frustrated and kinda uncomfortable with this. I should’ve gotten my paperwork in the waiting room where I had the time to read it thoroughly before signing. Instead, I feel rushed with a dr holding a pad in front of my face and stuff dripping from my mouth involuntarily. Another few minutes passed and someone else came over to tell me they were no longer going to do my 2 scheduled fillings, even though they’ve already been numbing both sides of my face for more than 30 minutes now, just one since my copay is high. Again, no communication or conversation about this. Didn’t ask if I would like to go forward with both anyway, or anything, just that they’d take the payment now before doing anything else. Again, after they already had me lying down, with a big clipped on for the drool likely coming out of my extremely numb face. Feels insanely unprofessional?? I get up and dig around my purse and pay and then the dr comes over and they says okay we’re filling just the one and starts injecting my face with more local anesthesia. She used a ton. I felt at least 5 jabs and as I write this review 4 hours later, my face is still extremely numb. Then, she tilts the chair to such an extreme angel backwards, I had to grip the hand rests with both hands. As she worked on my teeth, her and her hygienist talked badly about another woman they both know and how she is “truly evil”. Sounded like the wife of another coworker. Pretty uncomfortable and awful to sit through. I tried get her attention to the fact that I was struggling to say in my chair at the angle she had me tilted back, and any time I tried to move or make a sound she told me not to move and that I was doing great. It was truly an awful experience. Even as I was leaving, an employee left complaining she wasn’t feeling well, and then the 3 other girls working in the room I was in all were talking badly about her and complaining they believed she took too many tums and was sick on her own accord and stuff. It was just a really weird experience. It was the most painful filling I’ve ever had, even despite the wild amounts of numbing they used. The unprofessionalism was extremely uncomfortable to be around in every aspect. I would not recommend coming here. I am going to cancel the follow up appointment I made because I truly don’t feel comfortable going back there. I can’t believe how many great reviews they have and wish I had paid more attention to the bad reviews before ever coming here because this was that bad.

Fantastic experience: The nurse is trying to work with me and she is fantastic. A friend of mine told me about them but the only thing he didn't tell me is that the impression thing was nasty tasting but all in all it is a great place

Negative experience: They did a root canal on me and they didn't finish the procedure. I told them that I had a toothache and couldn't eat on that side of my mouth and they didn't give it any importance and for not finishing my tooth broke. Some time later I went to another dentist and he told me that they didn't do the job well, they also say they don't do cleanings, I'd better find another dentist. And now it's costing me to repair that work and do a deep cleaning, and now I can chew on that side, but my jaw is making a sound.

Negative experience: Absolute trash I've spent so much money coming back and forth to this crap hole they do absolutely no work I've been coming here for an emergency this is now a month and refuse to do anything for my tooth that's getting infected and it's getting worse and want to keep telling me that they would need to do feelings when there's nothing wrong with my teeth to begin with even my insurance and and the emergency room even said that I don't need fillings at the tooth needs to be pulled out because it's an emergency but Dr Habibi wants to worry about feelings and breaking more teeth while she does it instead of doing her actual job and listening to her patients and she gouged the inside of my gums really bad and I've been trying to be patient with this place they do absolutely crappy work I do not recommend because like I said I was here for an emergency tooth extraction not fillings I don't need

Negative experience: Absolutely horrible experience. Not only does this women have no idea what she is doing. She does not care. She messes up every person that walks in there. DO NOT GO HERE I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE. Two Mondays ago I had my first appointment mind you I have never been here or heard anything about the place. And she said I needed sowm fillings and I knew that. I was more worried about the 2 front ones I can see. So I was scheduled last Monday at 9:30. I went in got numbed with gel and was told she was doing the front ones by the young assistant. Waited about an hour after being gelled. While every cubby next to me was getting teeth yanked out,fillings,root canals. All by this one dentist. Was almost like a race on how many teeth can she get done before lunch time. Now finally my turn. She comes in and is sitting behind me asking if I’m ready. I stated hold on can you tell me what ur doing before you do it. She tells me I’m getting both top sides filled. Never how many or what ones. Mind you they numbed the front of my mouth. So I asked for more gel. She goes is stabs me atleast 10-12 times. Does my “fillings” and here I am a week later still in excruciating pain because she has more than likely gave me fillings when I needed either a root canal or that nothing was actually wrong with the teeth because i never had pain before she did work in my mouth. I have read so much since being in pain every single day how this women just does teeth that need no work for the insurance claim. MIND YOU I didn’t even know the dentists name was Dr honey until reading it. Because she never once announced her name to me. I am currently popping ibuprofen and Tylenol like it’s candy and trying to find a dentist who takes my insurance and can fix what she has done to me. So please please never go to Valley Dental in New Hartford

Positive experience: The dentists chair was torn in the seat and dirty where the feet go . Otherwise it was all good.

Negative experience: Staff was nice. But, did NOT give me correct referral connections. Nor did they expedite the meds needed to help my pain. The "Dr". Who looked at my teeth didn't give any feed back. Just looked in my mouth, and said..all 3 teeth have to be removed. Ok.. why? Nothing.. she walked away

Fantastic experience: They have a sign saying the wait can take 1 to 1.5 hours but I was in and out in about 30 or 40 minutes and they are very nice there I drive an hour and 20 minutes to get there but that's where im going from now on

Fantastic experience: I was in pain and needed an extraction. Dr. Honey completed the procedure quickly and with little discomfort for me. The staff was very supportive too.

Negative experience: The staff is amazing but the dentist is easily the worst I have ever been to. She removed two teeth that didn't need to come out leaving me with no back teeth. And in the process broke another tooth in half that had nothing wrong with it causing me to have to have even more work done. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone.

Negative experience: I would like to file a complaint against Dr. Honey from valley dental (New Hartford). I am currently pregnant and sought dental care, but I was denied service solely because I had posted a negative review about a prior visit.Everytime I visited,I feel not comfortable and still pain from my teeth. I believe this conduct is unethical and may constitute professional misconduct under New York State law. Denying necessary medical treatment due to a personal disagreement, especially to a pregnant patient, may put patient health at risk and violates the standards of the profession. I am requesting that this matter be investigated. Thank you

Fantastic experience: This place is the best dentist I have ever gone to! They have great people there. I am not a fan of dentists but this dentist makes me feel safe and comfortable. I had to go in for fillings today and the doctor who did my fillings plus the helper named Cameron were great and they talked me through everything. I am so grateful for you guys and I wouldn’t want any other dentist. Thank you Cameron for being there for me! (The front desk lady told me her name) because I said she was great and I would want her everytime I go.

Negative experience: this place is a disaster... The girls in the front were fine, but the back office staff treating patients was horrible. (why i gave 2 star and not 1) The Xray technician (an 18-20 year old girl) was rude, cold and "jammed" the xray photo trays in my mouth like she was in a hurry... she didn't even want me to go to the bathroom (as if it was an inconvenience) Then the Dentist came to my chair and was behind me introducing herself... i asked her to come in front of me and she acted like i was inconveniencing her...(very unprofessional) Then she said, what's the problem? i said i have a bad tooth... she said, no you don't , its an old filling- i said, you didn't even look!.. she said i don't have to i can tell... LOL Then the xray tech and the dental assistant and Dentist all ganged up on me and said i was being rude! LOL... This place is simply a turnstile practice that doesn't care about patients... HIGHLY UNPROFFESSIONAL - WOULD NOT RECCOMENED.

Negative experience: Wait time is ridiculous. Staff does not listen to patients when checking in or making appointments. Thankfully I said multiple times I was pregnant since no one could be bothered to listen or put it in my chart and I was almost put at risk by them trying to give me X-rays!!! Before any of this I was spoken to very nasty on the phone prior to being brought in for an appointment for them to do nothing at all except exactly what I asked for over the phone in the first place after being talked to like I was an idiot and in the end not even needing an appointment! Will be switching dentists after this. Nothing but bad news here.

Negative experience: Hello everyone name is Eric M. I recently had a chipped tooth. I made an appointment and went in to be seen. They took like 12 x-rays and then sat me down. Looked at it and said we can't do anything. Can I ask why I came here to now have to make another appointment to help this issue? Literally wasting my time which is still painful. If zero stars was an option.

Positive experience: My daughter Bella, recently started having a toothache, I've called numerous dentists office in the area and all basically said the same thing, that they're not accepting new patients, I've tried for a week and no luck, so I had to bring my daughter to the emergency room, all they did was give her pain meds and antibiotics, so I decided to call valley dental a place which I was told not to go to by others with my daughter in pain I took her to valley dental they got her in with a appointment quick, they diagnosed her teeth situation quick, the dentist assistance and the dentist DR. Honey have been nothing but outstanding with my daughter, I forgot to mention my daughter is special needs to, and has anxiety and Dr. Honey and her assistant have been awesome I would so recommend them to others. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars because there is always room for improvement but at this moment I got zero complaints, I only got praises for valley dental. Thank yous .

Positive experience: My visit was good, I was happy to find a dentist. I feel she wasn't thorough enough. Too many patients for one dentist and not enough time spent with each. I need a cleaning, I will have to call to schedule that. I believe I need a filling, even though I was told no. The assistants were nice. Overall it's a nice place. I recommend it. There are little to none as far as options when you have UHCCP. Take care of your teeth they're the only ones you have.

Negative experience: Just got out of my appointment at Valley Dental. And it was just overall a horrible experience. The staff for the most part were all very nice and accommodating. The actual dentist there was a whole nother story. She originally said that she was going to work on 2 teeth. After I was injected with 6 shots novacaine I asked which 2 teeth she would be working on. She replied with all the ones on the bottom. I said "can I start with 2 today?". Without saying a word she stormed out of there. Moments later I was approached by the manager that told me she would not be working on my teeth. I asked her why and she couldn't give me a reason and that she would refer me somewhere else. I don't think anyone should be treated with this amount of disrespect especially in a dentists office by the dentist. Fair warning ⚠️ this is the only dentist at this location.

Negative experience: I absolutely hate valley dental. They tell me they’ll take my teeth out. Cuz I’m in daily excruciating pain and take like 10 ibuprofen a day. Then tell me oh no we’re referring you to an oral surgeon

Negative experience: I went here for something stuck in my gums. They took x-rays, stuck two fingers in my mouth and then wanted to schedule me appointment for 2026 for a cleaning. Wasted an hour for no help.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was so nice. Front desk to everyone in the back. I needed a wheelchair, and one of the girls got it for me. When it was time for me to leave, one of the girls walked me to my SUV. She has blonde hair.very pleased.

Positive experience: So far so good. I'm going there to get partials made. The office staff and the people in the dental clinic I've dealt with have been very friendly and helpful. The short time I spent with the dentist on my first visit unfortunately wasn't as good. She seemed very rude and spoke to me behind my back so the assistant had to repeat to me everything she said. Then she ran her fingers around inside my mouth and said see the girl out front and she'll submit a referral to your insurance.

Negative experience: I always hated this dentist. She is horrible. She doesn’t talk to the patient. She barely lets you see her. She stands behind you the whole time and she manhandles you. I never knew how terrible her work was until I went to another dentist in Elmira New York. they told me the work she did was terrible and it had to be redone. After I saw the new work that the New dentist did I know why she said that Valley Dental was terrible.

Fantastic experience: Today I had an awesome time with Olivia, Kayla and Doctor honey. It was a fun time with them. Not every day you can go to a dentist and have fun joking. Liv, well the awesome Olivia, I owe the apology to her. I made a mistake and put her as libby, well Olivia, if it’s you Kayla and the honey. I will be back. Kayla was cool like Sunday morning, Olivia was the sunshine and Doctor honey, beeez. She was so funny. Thank you ladies. Olivia, well . Kayla is the one to greet you with the awesome smile. She so down to earth. Honey, so is sooooo funny an allll right. Thanks

Negative experience: The dentist only looked at the X-Rays and then said to go schedule a cleaning which was not able to be scheduled until next year. I was under the assumption that the appointment was for a cleaning to begin with. Only sat in the chair for the dentist to say open take 2 seconds to look with no mirror or anything before rushing me out the door.

Negative experience: RUDE! SCAM! THEY WILL DELETE//FAKE REVIEWS! DO NOT GO! YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR REPAIRS ONCE THESE "DOCTORS" ARE DONE WITH YOUR TEETH. My roommate went there thinking these people could help only to come back with her mouth bleeding and her tooth uncared for. THEY WILL LEAVE YOU WITH YOUR TEETH UNDONE AND IT WILL DECAY. Causing you to find a PROFFESSIONAL. My other roommate has a 1 year booking for a cleaning. REALLY ((Didnt event examin their mouth)) Please do not go here.

Negative experience: Avoid at all costs. Doesn’t follow up doesn’t answer phone calls doesn’t return voicemails. Then blames the patient for anything she doesn’t like. She had my husband pay for temporary dentures that he couldnt use the teeth where crooked then wanted me to pay for the same thing so glad I didn’t bc she couldn’t even pull all the teeth. Also avoid if blood pressure issues as they do not check blood pressure and pump you full of stuff that makes your heart race which is super dangerous!

Positive experience: I went to my appointment today and saw a Doctor called Honey Olha. I would not call her a doctor. She spoke to the back of my head asked me why I was there and I told her to get my dentures repaired. She asked how long I had them and I told her four years I got them when I lived in Michigan. I had to repeat myself to each question as she kept saying huh. She finally came around and ran her fingers on my gums then She stated that we don’t do dentures here then proceeds to tell me to call back in two weeks after she turns in my x-rays to my insurance. I am dumbfounded as to why I would call since they don’t do dentures. After reading several reviews on here this evening, I’ve noticed that the owner is quick to respond to people that give a positive review, but there is no acknowledgment when it’s a negative review. I am 64 years old and I’ve never been treated so rudely in all my life at a dentist office it’s fearful enough going to a dentist. On a positive note the front room staff and the other technicians that took my x-rays were very pleasant. I reckon there was a misunderstanding on my part at what the doctor said. The manager called and explained things. I thought that was gracious of her. Thank you.

Negative experience: I can see why there are so many bad reviews! My dentist retired so I was searching for a new dentist, I needed top teeth removed and a denture. Was told by Valley dental I needed an oral surgeon after initial consult and Xrays. they said just one tooth to be removed, which I disagreed with. I consulted with the oral surgeon and made an appointment for the 1 tooth, which was successfully pulled. the oral surgeon recommended going back to Valley dental with his notes and Xrays for Valley Dental to get authoriztion for ALL top teeth to be removed and a denture made. I went back to Valley dental, gave them the notes and Xrays from the oral surgeon, they said they'd send all the info into my insurance and that the authoriztion reply takes 2 weeks. Its been 3 months! I called Valley, they dont answer their phones! I left multiple voice messages with the receptionist, the insurance coordinator and the office manager. Eventually the offfice manager called back to apologize, she said she'd make sure my authorization request would be put through. I didnt hear back so I called my dental insurance and they've heard NOTHING! absolutely nothing...... how incompetent! and after reading the reviews of patients who have had work done, I'm glad it never got that far. So this morning I called the oral surgeon who stated theyve heard VD doesnt answer their phones, I asked for a recommendation on another general dentist who may take my insurance. Dont go to Valled Dental, they are unacceptably incompetent all around! UPDATE! VD did a reply and said they couldnt identify me as a patient, yea because I wish to remain anonymous so they cant further discriminate againts me! its strangely funny that you reply here but cant answer your phones! why not??!

Fantastic experience: The staff are very friendly and make you feel comfortable. The dentist is very kind and explains what she is doing.

Negative experience: worst dental experience of my life. dr. honey failed to numb me properly and i told her this, but she said "its just sensitive " and proceeded to start drilling into my tooth which was very painful. i squirmed and she said "stop moving, you're making me nervous". then gave me 2 more shots which also did not numb me. ive never had issues with other dentists or with novacaine before. i'd rather let my teeth rot out of my head than come back here.

Negative experience: I tried to make an appointment with them.Which I understand is busy. The customer service care is terrible, terrible. They're very, very rude, so that's where I draw the line right there. They hang up on you. They don't call you back. I would never recommend this to anyone!!!!!

Fantastic experience: 1st time visit went great, the staff was very nice and understanding and I'll be back Monday for extractions.

Negative experience: Not happy at all it appears that they don't remove a tooth. What a joke but for an hour of nothing they bill your insurance company ...

Fantastic experience: I had the best dental experience at Valley Dental. Was in a lot of pain but Dr. Honey took care of it. The staff is very nice too. Wish i could give 10 stars. Will highly recommend them to everyone.

Fantastic experience: The doctor there she is so nice all the staff are so nice. They get the job done. They don’t have you sitting around waiting and they have you in and out in a timely manner. I love that place is great. Whoever trained the staff, they’re wonderful
