Fantastic experience: Whitney and Dr. Zhang Did an awesome job today with my extractions. Very fast and curtious! I would definitely recommend anyone to them. ❤️ Thank you all so so much!

Negative experience: Book an an emergency appointment got to appointment. Had to wait an hour and a half to get seen. They didn’t do anything but put ice on my tooth and asked if it was hurt mind you I have a broken tooth and I’m pregnant second appointment comes supposed to get service for broken tooth. They say I can’t get service cause I’m pregnant. I needed a confirmation from a doctor. cool I get confirmation from a doctor third appointment. They don’t service me. They put me in for the wrong service which was x-rays and asked about a tooth cleaning. I still have a broken tooth fourth appointment comes still don’t get serviced. They say because it’s been too long since the first appointment with the broken tooth that only needed a fill in at first emergency appointment, now I have to get my tooth pulled or pay 2K to get it cleaned out and to put a cap over it because it began to rot. Every single time I’ve came back I’ve had to wait a hour, and I guarantee you somebody in the waiting room right now has been waiting for an hour

Negative experience: They don't honor the appointment time, total disorganisation. 1st time went in, waited for almost 1h only to be seen by a tech who took another half an hour taking the x-rays, then waited for a doctor who spent barely 5 min and told me she doesn't have time to work on my tooth (mind the fact that I clearly stated the reason of the appointment when I made it, and it wasn't anything complicated). Since I was already there for hours, I asked if I can get at least cleaning done. There was a hygienist available in another 20min or so. Yes, she did an amazing job. Spent closer to 4h, overall. My 2nd appointment to finally fix the tooth: again, I waited for half an hour to be seen by a tech, the doctor was apparently working on multiple patients, so I was then waiting for the doctor. Hence, probably the reason their timetable is all over the place. With the waiting and 1 filling to be put, it took 1,5h. So, doesn't matter when you make your appointment, be ready to wait at least 30min, and then get ready to wait more in the chair for the doctor. The cherry on top was the bill. They tell you one amount, and then come up with another. They charge insurance the 1st amount (lower), while your bill turns out to be higher. And they cannot clearly explain why. They mumbled something that the insurance didn't cover the estimated 75% of the bill, while I clearly see in the insurance portal the amount of the claim and that the insurance covered 75%. They also charge you FIRST, and THEN submit the claim, so, it's unclear as to how they'd know what the insurance would/wouldn't cover. I'd advise to avoid the clinic.

Fantastic experience: I have to give a sincere appreciation to Rose. She is a remarkable person and so helpful, though out my denture process she has made me feel extremely welcome and safe, she is a kind, loving person with a great work ethic.

Negative experience: Shoddy work at best. Got a fill-in that was stopped midway and never got completed, now everytime I eat I have to use floss or toothpicks to get stuff out the space. Dentures made are ill fitting, teeth too small for space they're in, cheap material used, feels like plastic and gum area feels like tough rubber. Find somewhere else to go, DO NOT LET their promise of late hour appointments or walk-ins entice you

Negative experience: What is the point of scheduling an appointment if it’s treated like a walk-in and you’re left waiting? To make matters worse, after I specifically called ahead to confirm the service I needed, I was told once I arrived that they don’t even offer it. This is completely unprofessional and a total waste of time. If you can’t honor appointment times or give accurate information over the phone, don’t mislead customers. The lack of respect and organization here is unbelievable.

Fantastic experience: Today I visited the night and day dental facility on New Bern ave it was my first time a lot of great staff very welcoming very nice and polite especially Ms C. Jones i think her name was also the receptionist that checks you when she was phenomenal even the checkout staff I really enjoyed the vibe and I felt very welcome and I will be returning see you guys next week Second time back a total disaster my appointment was at 12:00 I get get here 1130 not called back till 1217 here it is 117 I just sitting in a dental chair this is sad I see the reason is breaks goofing and dancing to the loud music can't keep up I will definitely not be coming back

Negative experience: If you can go anywhere else in the triangle to get your dental needs met I suggest you do. They stole over $400 from me did not do the procedure. I was there to do and while I was there over three hours I saw two kids screaming because they were being hurt so badly by the dentist there it was absolutely one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in my entire life

Negative experience: Every visit here has been disappointing, but my last one was the worst. I went in for a routine cleaning (I go every 6 months) and was told I needed an expensive deep cleaning. I agreed to do one side, but was left in an uncomfortable chair for over an hour before the doctor even started. By the time Doctor Cane my num medicine’s effect was over The anesthesia was extremely painful because gum was not num.and I was kept in one position so long that I injured my hip and now need physical therapy. My 5:00 p.m. appointment didn’t end until 8:30 p.m. I called the next day with a question, but after being told by receptionist that nurse would call me back, I never heard from anyone. The staff are unprofessional, poorly trained, and communication is terrible.

Fantastic experience: It rained heavily today, and the roads were in terrible condition. I was running late for my appointment, but I called the office to let them know. They were very understanding given the distance and weather, and they still made sure I was seen. The front desk staff was fantastic, and both Anishia and Dr. Nightingale were absolutely amazing! I was nervous and a little scared, but they made the whole experience very comfortable. I truly appreciate the entire team!

Fantastic experience: Night and Day Dental on New Bern in Raleigh is a good dental office to get taken care of quickly. I waited a few minutes in the waiting room for my appt and just a few minutes before the dentist was in the room talking about my dental care options. Christie is an office manager there and she is amazing and such a sweet person. She helped me with my insurance and understanding my options. Dr. West is always so friendly and professional. I am glad to have a good place to go for dental care.

Negative experience: TERRIBLE SERVICE! Appointment was for 1:15pm, I arrived at 1:00pm because I was a new patient. 3:00pm comes and I still had not been called to the back. Lady at the front desk said that they needed to “review” my insurance, which is strange because I got a message at 10:27am saying that my insurance had been received and my appointment was set. Never was able to get seen and I took off of work for no reason!

Negative experience: I had appointment scheduled for 12 pm and I checked in by 11:50 am I was let in by 1:10 pm and it took more than 1 more hour to finish other things. If they are cautiousness booked appointments it helps as we step out of work on permissions. Ling waiting time gets us in bad positions

Negative experience: Took insurance to take x rays and only did 2 when you were subpost to do 8. You had us in your office for 3 hours not to fix anything and then take my insurance if I could put 0 stars there would be 0 dam stars don’t recommend coming here at all.

Negative experience: Took my payment upfront then couldn’t give me service because I wouldn’t pay out of pocket for extra upfront on top of the cost of my cleaning. They proceeded to tell me I would get my refund eventually and if I didn’t to call back. I asked why it’s not instantly since it’s on a credit card and not a debit and their response was the manager’s outside (walking around talking on the phone) Very unprofessional and I will not be back. One of many unprofessional things that has happened to me. On another visit one of the works while doing my cleaning assumed I was a different customer because the color of my skin and associated me with a customer that’s a weed smoker and asked me if I was still smoking weed during an appointment and the hygienist working on my teeth stated to the other worker look at his face there two different people! I should have report them for this and still will!

Negative experience: Mrs Kim and Mrs Shay are the two best employees at night and day. They are the only reason I chose 2 stars. My appointment was at 12 and I arrive at 11:35 to complete a credit application and I wasn’t called back until 12:45 and seen at 1:35. It seemed as if every other dental assistant didn’t want to be there. They also wouldn’t let my wife come back to see me and lied to her say I signed papers for no one else to be back there with me. The wait wasn’t so bad but everyone seemed rude and ignorant. Possibly my last time going to this location

Negative experience: This dental office is more like a house of horrors. I sat in one of their exam rooms in excruciating pain for an hour before being seen. When I finally was seen, Dr. Nightingale had such terrible bedside manner. He was insensitive and impersonal. He did not listen to me when I expressed that I was in pain during his exam. (This was my second encounter with him ; both times he was dismissive). He makes inappropriate and offensive remarks. He didn’t try explaining any alternative options, whatsoever. You only get one set of teeth after all but he just offered to pull my teeth without a second thought. He barely addressed me as a patient, let alone, a person. He cares little about the patient’s concerns. I left in tears to say the least. I went to a private dental office the very next day and got a full, comprehensive assessment and a more ideal treatment plan. I was treated with empathy, kindness, and without judgment. Dr. Nightingale should take note. I hope to never set foot inside this establishment ever again.

Negative experience: Came for a 1:00 apt wasn’t seen until 3:00 .. yes they made me wait in lobby 2hours for a scheduled appointment ! Worst dentist I’ve ever been to in my life , oh and not a soul was helpful , they was more focused on their own side conversations

Fantastic experience: I am so GRATEFUL!!!! I have an auto immune disease and from the beginning of January through the beginning of April I had 5 rounds of antibiotics and one round of I.V. antibiotics. My previous dentist who I won't name here saw me 4 times in that time. NEVER gave me antibiotics or fixed the tooth. As a matter of fact she refused to do anything. Urgent care and the UNC emergency room did the antibiotics thank God. On the 3rd I finally decided I had to switch dentist and I am so grateful to Night and Day Dental! They got me in on an emergency appointment and that day rushed to take care of the situation. Unfortunately I lost teeth and had to have the infection scraped out and needed stitches. Today 9 days after the extraction I was concerned about the wound as it looked infected and with my disease I was concerned I would end up back in the hospital. They took me as a walk in and were so kind. Thankfully the infection wasn't back but I nearly cried in relief. I hope everyone at the Raleigh location near Wakemed know how grateful I am to them. They gave me peace of mind and kindness when all I felt was anxiety and dread at the idea of another hospital visit. I can't recommend them enough!

Negative experience: I went to there and I waited 30 40 minutes for them to call me in!!! I will never ever go back to that clinic again .

Negative experience: I had called the office for an emergency for my daughter. Had explain to them what was happening to her since i had a dental profesional check my daughter before them. I go in, did not do anything in my daughter, they were rushing since she was the last one. Dentist couldnt even take the x-rays kept harming my daughter’s gums. The office is a complete mess and dirty with dust. The materials been used on my daughters mouth repeatedly been placed over the counter and back into my daughters mouth.Sorry but anyone can get a seriously sick from this.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kitchen and Kim are “ AWESOME “. They both have THE BEST Personalities, KINDNESS, BED SIDE MANNERS AND DEMEANOR. VERY GENTLE CARE. I COULD NOT ASK FOR ANY BETTER. THEY ARE THE TOP. THANKS TO BOTH OF YOU. AND THEY WORK VERY WELL TOGETHER.

Negative experience: My appointments continued to get canceled because the “hygienist no longer works there”. I would wait months for my appointments only for them to be canceled weeks before and then they would say it would be months before I could be booked again. It’s bizarre to me that appointments could be canceled due to the hygienist that was assigned to me no longer working there. I have missed multiple 6 month follow ups because of this. When I did get in the waits are so long once in the chair. One time in particular I sat there for almost an hour before someone came in. Finally had enough after this last cancellation- leaving them and going to a new dental group. Highly do not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly, DR. Kitchen and Mrs. Kim were wonderful. They made me feel very comfortable, it was painless and it went very fast. Dr. Kitchen turned on a little music and before the song was half way through she was done. I will be going back and asking if I could get them again. Good Job ladies!!!

Negative experience: Completely understaffed with dental hygienist. Was told there is currently only one. Waited 45 mins in the lobby with appointments scheduled. Visit took over three hours for me and my two children. They had a routine cleaning and I only got X-rays. Was told there would be a five month wait for a routine dental cleaning for myself. My children and I have been patients for several years but after our recent experience I am definitely exploring other dental practices. Dental assistants are nice but office is too overbooked/understaffed to support new and existing patients.

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency because my crown broke (the old crown was from a different dentist, nothing to do with N&D). They got me an appointment right away. The dentist was wonderful. She was so gentle and she would tell narrate what she was doing as she was working and this was SUCH a comfort. I had never had a dentist do this before and I realized how nice it was to have some clue about what was happening and how far along in the process we were. Also I asked if we could do it without anasthesia, and they said they could do it either way. Even without anasthesia the entire process was completely painless. They were able to make a new crown made of zirconia instantly with their space age fabricator machine. They did not even need to make a mold of my teeth, but they just took a scan with the magic wand, and the machine made a 3D model in the computer, and they edited the details of how the crown should be. Then a cube of zirconia goes in the machine and these drill burrs whizz around and grind the perfect crown in 15 minutes. The new crown fit like a perfect glove on the first try. It was really futuristic. The price after insruance was also really reasonable, especially consudering that it was a last minute emergency appointment.

Negative experience: I'm shocked that this place has not been shut down, and there should be no one going here even if it was an emergency. They did not stick even to the motto that they have ,' you will be seen same day for emergences'.there is a current presence of bed bugs, and when you come in with an emergency that you already had to schedule they do not even fix that but instead focus on cosmetics and don't use your insurance & will bill you for everything they can and just get as much money out of you as possible. Spent hours there for little to nothing to be done. Would give zero stars if possible.

Negative experience: It starts going then the rate of care diminished greatly I called for advice because of BP issues I knew I could not be seen and the establishment in Cary would NOT EVEN OFFER ADVICE WITH OUT A APPOINTMENT WHEN THEY ALREADY KNOW THAT THEY WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO TREAT ME. Since when CAN'T provider give medical ADVICE over the phone

Negative experience: While in the waiting area on 1/14/25, I was bitten by bedbugs in a chair against the back wall of the waiting area. The office manager mishandled the situation in a very condescending undertone & facetious manner. “We cannot determine if that is a bedbug or not AND we do not know if it came from your home or another patient’s.” I was livid!!!!! The chair was not removed from the waiting room, instead they flipped it over and pushed it into an empty space then taped that space off with CLEAR packaging tape. The chair should’ve been removed immediately! I asked for a nurse or dentist to take me into an exam room and clean the area where I had been bitten. I also asked for the office manager to look at the bites in another room and she denied me of that, stating it was “unethical” for her to do that. No one gave me any type of medical attention. I asked for an incident report to be written, she claims she did so. I asked for a copy and she would not provide one. I left and went to the hospital to have a formal report done. The health dept. & medical board have also been contacted. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!

Negative experience: Very unprofessional staff! Went in for an extraction. They told me I had a balance that insurance didn’t take care of from a previous appointment……I called my insurance they said it was because I had a waiting period……I advised them that I’d pay it after my extraction “that I’m paying out of pocket for” they agreed then on the day of my appointment told me I have to pay for the one insurance didn’t cover plus the out of pocket one that we already agreed that I’d pay later

Negative experience: I had the worse experience ever,,Most of the front desk staff had an attitude and was joking and talking to each other while patient were waiting to be checked in ,,Then after I asked them if there was still infection in my tooth and gum area they said they only seen a little,,So I asked them twice would they still be able to numb the area and pull the tooth or did I need to finish my antibiotic on Sunday and come back ,,I was told yes it will numb because it's only a little infection..Have giving me numbing meds 3 times they halfway pulled the tooth and because I felted it instead of going on and pulling it the rest of the way out they stopped and told me they couldn't finish it,, the dentist patted me on my check and said come back Friday and to get it pulled the rest of the way, Then I looked at her and said so I got to go around with a half pulled tooth and in pain for a week and She patted me on my cheek again and said yes or maybe it will fall out by it's self .. Would not recommend anyone to go to this office.

Negative experience: Worst Dental experience I have ever had!!! Made a mess of the first pair of Dentures made. My appointment was at 8am. for remakes. Didn't get called back until 8:20 waited for Dr another 20 mins then Dr comes in and equipment he was supposed to use didn't work. Wanted me to sit and wait for equipment to get fixed. I spent an hour in this Office and nothing got done. I could go on and on about this Office's incompetents but I don't have the time to list them all. Don't go to this Dental Office New Bern Ave Raleigh NC

Fantastic experience: Went to Night & Day dental yesterday (11/19/24) I had to have several procedures done! Dr Tellez and his assistant Whitney were absolutely fantastic!! Very professional and caring how I was feeling throughout my surgery yesterday!! Very happy with the level of care and service I received yesterday!! I MOST definitely owe a big thank you to Christie/Kristie in billing for understanding and helping me plan my corrected plan of care to help get my smile back!! These professionals are top TIER in my book!!!

Negative experience: Terrible experience! Essentially waited for 2 hours just for X-rays and consult. Work was scheduled for same day which I thought was great. I was put in a room for over an hour and no one even checked on me. When I went to reschedule, Meeka (or some variation of her name. I was so upset I didn’t even retain her name) spoke to me so disrespectfully I asked for the office manager after hearing someone else complain for waiting an hour with no services rendered. I was told to wait. Oh no! I will just take my business else where. I walked out so quickly , I actually went back the following week to make sure there were no outstanding fees. Got Meeks again. Slightly better interaction but even for the sake of customer service, could not simply apologize. Horrible, dr was curt and some of the office staff was beyond rude. Rows of patient rooms, VERY understaffed. Steer clear. The good reviews must have gotten lucky, the day I went I was not the only person with a bad experience. I never write reviews. That is how horrible this experience was!!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: This was my first time going to Night and Day Dental. The office was very clean and their equipment was up to date! The staff were very friendly, service was quick and efficient.

Negative experience: Today my daughter had appointment get her teeth cleaned. When came out she was crying because the dental technician Shove the suction tube in her mouth hard.She she told the lady that it was too hard and the lady got an Attitude with her " saying you want get me to clean your teeth again. I ask for the Manager and was told she was in a meeting. So I left my number for her to call never received a call from her. I WILL GOING OVER HER HEAD. NO ONE APOLOGIZED TO HER FOR THE ABUSE MY MY DAUGHTER RECEIVED FROM THIS WORKER HER APPT WAS @ 1:45.

Negative experience: RUN, I mean RUN away from this place. I submitted my insurance information twice—once when booking the appointment and again while filling out the paperwork—but when I arrived, they still hadn't processed it. They assured me my insurance would fully cover the x-rays and evaluation that day, and I wouldn’t incur any charges. I went in for a cleaning, but no one told me I’d need an evaluation first and would have to wait two months for the actual cleaning. I received a bill for $275. When I called, it was nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone, and when I finally did, they still hadn't filed my insurance. They assured me again that it was covered. A month later, I got another bill—this time for $115—and I still haven't even had my cleaning and can’t reach anyone on the phone! All they did was take x-rays and tell me I had no cavities. I've never been charged this much at a dentist, especially for routine care that my insurance was supposed to cover. Good luck getting anyone to answer the phone to resolve it. Do yourself a favor—avoid this place and save your wallet!

Negative experience: They could be punctual, I waited more than an hour even with an appointment. Definitely not visiting again. Update - I actually visited again, waited more than 90 mins. Even if you book 9AM slot they take more than an hour. If you have work or any dependencies skip this place.

Fantastic experience: I was very nervous about going here. But I can say my experience was great! Megha Puranam explained everything before the procedure. During the procedure she explained what she was doing and checked to see if I was doing OK! The staff was super nice and friendly! I may have found my new dentist !
