Fantastic experience: Not my regular dentist. That one left me in a lot of pain. EQ were not only open on a Saturday morning, they managed to fit me in with no appointment and take care of my teeth. Now I can get some rest, thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: I made an appt because I was concerned with my back tooth turning black so they got me in and did X-rays. Dr went over all the pics and explained what needs to be done. I came in the next morning and he extracted all 4 of my wisdom teeth! They put the injections on each side, didn’t feel anything. Dr Young and his assistant made me feel comfortable the whole time. Had a great experience and look forward to continue making my teeth beautiful again! Thank you Dr.Young and staff!

Fantastic experience: Best Dentist in Town! Very knowledgeable and was able to work me in for an emergency root canal for a very painful infected tooth i thought i was going to have to get pulled. with 24 hours notice they squeezed me in 2 hours before he had to catch a flight for a family Emergency! Obviously cares about his patients especially if they're in pain. Very upfront and affordable no B/S And does everything he can to save your teeth, not because he makes more money that way...because he genuinely cares about his patients and wants them to have a happy healthy mouth! Second visit and i couldn't be happier. Fastest pain free root canal I've ever had. Also my last visit i had a build up and cap done all in one day! No waiting weeks for caps to be made elsewhere. 3d imaging and 3d printing of ceramic and porcelain caps in house on the spot. My tooth looked brand new. Highly suggest these guys and I look forward to having the rest of my work done here. I'm not one to write reviews but these guys and gals deserve it! 5/5. Thank you for taking away my pain!!!

Fantastic experience: This is the first Dental clinic I love!! All the women there are very nice and welcome you always a smile, true professionals. The woman that did my cleaning was great, she took her time cleaning my teeth as well as explaining everything that was needed for my teeth. The Doctor was also very professional and kind and showed great concern unlike previous dental clinic “Jefferson Dental” that. I recommend do not use that clinic and take your smile to EQ DENTAL!! You will not be disappointed!!

Negative experience: I had a rather odd experience with this office. The doctor wasn’t necessarily the concern. See my experience below: 1. I had an appointment at 3pm. The office called me at 2:56 telling me that the doctor was ready to see me. I found this to be incredibly odd because I literally pulled up and parked my car right at 2:56, and my appointment was not at 2:56. It was at 3pm. They must’ve seen me sitting in my car in the parking lot. 2. On most cases, the front office staff advised that I walk myself back to the exam room. Usually a dental assistant or a hygienist will walk you back to the room. That is not the case with this office. 3. They make you pay upfront. Not the biggest deal. But no dentist office I’ve been to asks you to pay for incomplete treatment upfront. 4. They spammed me with text messages asking me to complete a survey about my experience. I received 10 survey requests via text message since my last appointment. The survey requests magically stopped once I responded to the text messages and told them it was excessive. 5. The dentist was ok. Very heavy handed. Poor bedside manner. But he did the job and I can’t fault him for that. My new dentist actually commended his work, but ultimately suggested that we redo treatment since I was in so much pain. For the record, I did go back to this office to express how much pain I was in post 3 cavities. I was told that if I was still in pain then a root canal was needed. I feel there was not sufficient time taken to really understand why I was in pain. 6. I got a second opinion. After a retreatment and adjustment to my bite, I feel so much better now that I saw someone else and got the treatment redone. Ultimately, the dentist isn’t the concerns. Seems like the office practices are out of touch.

Fantastic experience: I love Doctor Young! Such a nice guy, but when he works on my teeth it's serious. He has skills. The work gets done right, with a gentle touch, but quickly. Fantastic experience: I have been going to EQ for almost 10 years now and am always happy. Every dental hygienist has been excellent, Dr Young stops by at every visit to double check x-rays and any concerns you have. Front desk staff is very sharp and quick to help. If you have a cavity they usually can take care of it right then so you don’t have to come back for another appointment. No complaints!

Fantastic experience: Fast forward 5 years later and I came back again. Can’t say enough great things about the staff and how they made me feel comfortable during my visit. Negative experience: I feel compelled to write a review for this dental office. I had been going here for 3 years, until 2023 when I had my bottom wisdom teeth removal done here. The whole experience was traumatic and since then I've been scared to get my upper wisdom teeth removed. Dr. Young does not do IV anesthesia, only laughing gas. During the procedure, I was completely awake and aware of everything that was going on. I felt my teeth being yanked out with such force. The spots where the wisdom teeth were bled a lot after surgery. I remember crying for a while right after the surgery. After this experience, I've changed my dentist to somewhere that's more clean and well-managed. Do not be deceived by the 5 star reviews here! Office is not organized and patient encounter with Dr. Young is minimal after each exam.

Fantastic experience: "Okay, so I just had a root canal with Dr. Young at EQ Dental, and honestly? It was way better than I expected. Like, way better. I was super nervous going in, but Dr. Young was awesome. He actually sat down and explained everything, which I really appreciated. You can tell he really loves what he does. The whole thing was way smoother than I thought it would be, and the team there was super chill. If you need a dentist, especially if you're dreading something like a root canal, seriously, go see Dr. Young. He's the real deal."

Fantastic experience: The professionals have great bedside manners and are very attentive to your needs. They continuously checked in with me throughout my wisdom tooth extraction, also the crown placement was super quick and efficient. Handled in one visit!! I have never seen anything like it before and I’ve had both procedures done elsewhere in the past. They truly run the operations like a well-oiled machine.

Negative experience: If I could give a negative rating, I would. This place is absolutely horrible. They do not check your insurance coverage before hand. They perform tons of extra unnecessary services on you and end up notify you the insurance did not cover and all extra expenses are on you and out of pocket. They also have the wrong record in their system and will force you to go back more frequently than you need to. You make an appointment at 7am and end up waiting for 30 mins just for their door to open. There are plenty of dentist places in north Forth Worth. Do not bother entertain with this place. Response to your comment: I understand prior to perform any services, the insurance is only an estimate. However, I deliberately asked before the extra images were taken and was told it’s ’required by insurance’. It does not make any sense if it’s required by insurance but not even covered. Additionally, the front desk lady April was straight up lying, telling me the additional service was required because I’m a new patient while I’ve been going here for years. I kindly asked if she can help reach out to my insurance company and was told a dead no. I was told nothing was due during my visit a few weeks ago and all of sudden the invoice shows I have a charge past due 90 days which did not even specify what it is for. There are more than once I showed up at 7 am and waiting for your employee pulling to the parking lot a while later. Being a loyal patient to this place for years, I’m blessed to finally know the true color of the management. I will try my utmost best to let my story known in the surrounding neighborhood. Thanks,

Fantastic experience: Absolutely awesome!!! Updated respone lol! Got new insurance, still got the care great as last time. People were running behind schedule but they didnt rush me or i didnt feel rushed. Also somebody else was not so nice but the people who i came into contact with were profession courteous and over all nice. Fantastic experience: Like most people, I have a huge fear of the dentist, I always have. Probably always will haha it’s why I don’t go as often as I should along with not having the best smile. I recently went to see Dr.Young for some work and I was on edge. The dental assistant was a dream, she continued to check on me and continued to remind me that I was in control and could stop at anytime. Even when Dr Young came in to work on me he was amazing, let me know repeatedly he was taking it slow and doing one thing at a time and would check on me after to make sure I wanted to continue. I know it sounds dumb to be scared of the dentist, but this experience was great. I still have work to get done and will definitely be returning.

Fantastic experience: I was extremely nervous to get my one upper wisdom tooth pulled, but the staff was so kind and reassuring. The numbing gel on my gums made the whole thing so much more comfortable. I am so glad I went with EQ dental to get my tooth pulled. I would recommend them to anyone who needs to get an extraction. Best experience! It was over before I knew it started. All I can say it they are AMAZING!!

Fantastic experience: I have been to EQ Dental several times and each time it is a very pleasant experience. The front desk is always staffed and the wait time to get addressed is as soon as you walk into the door. Being that I’m new to the state of Texas, I have been transitioning and sometimes I could be stressful so the main point I would like to emphasize on is their professional and treat patients like friends and family. Fantastic experience: Dr. Young is the best. I recommend him throughout my community and to my family and friends. He is a perfectionist and he does excellent work. He never recommends services that are not needed. He has replaced some crowns, at no cost, because he thought they could be better. I highly recommend!

Negative experience: I’m not sure how this place has such high reviews. I went in with a few cavities and they quoted an outrageous price, almost $3k Seemed like they were just out to get as much money as possible from people. One tooth with a cavity was also borderline cracked and the dentist recommended a root canal. I went to another dentist and they said that this was a poor call because this tooth was not that bad and could be fixed with a filling and that is what the other dentist did. I’ve had no problems since. I also never experienced a dentist bang on ALL my teeth like this dentist did. Felt like he was trying to break my teeth or cause further damage. Would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: The best non VA dental healthcare provider that I have visited so far. Dr. Thomas Young was very attentive and listened to all my concerns and answered my questions. He explained what the treatment would be once the VA approved everything. His dental hygienist (sorry I forgot her name) did the best cleaning I have ever had in my entire life. The entire staff at EQ Dental was superb and very professional and cordial. Thanks again for everything!

Negative experience: This is the worst dentist I ever been to. I was in severe pain and I have a whole broken tooth in my mouth, not one time did the dentist say we can extract the tooth for $78 dollars, instead he gives me this high ass bill for a root canal. How about let’s take the broken tooth out first then move on from there. This dentist is all about the money and not the comfort of the patients. I wouldn’t take my dog to this dentist and I would let my teeth fall out one by one before I ever go back here.

Fantastic experience: I have been to Dr. Young's office several times as a referral from the VA. He and his staff have always been friendly and personable. I have had no problems from his dental work. I recommend you visit!

Negative experience: I have an early appointment at 7am today, a rough experience. I walked 10 minutes to the clinic amid snow and ice and waited for another 10 minutes in front the clinic. The door was not open, my call was not answered, and I was so upset. I did NOT receive any call or text to tell me that the clinic is closed. They cancelled my appointment without telling me. I just walked another 10 minutes back home. CRAZY!!! PS: I did not receive any call/voice message for rescheduling. I did receive a message on Wednesday (Jan 8) at 9:10am asking me to confirm my Friday appointment. I confirmed it at 10:30am on the same day. I have the record on my phone. PLEASE investigate on the case.

Fantastic experience: Great customer attention, prompt, courteous and responsive to customer needs. Dr. Young is hands down the best dentist in Fort Worth.

Negative experience: Always overbooked and poor follow up on patients. Unfortunately, one of the crowns I received has been problematic, as I am unable to chew with it. This experience has been disappointing and falls short of the standard I expected from a professional dental practice. Edit: This has nothing to do with the end of the year. This happened back in July and September when the dentist is always fully booked or busy, with no flexibility at all.

Fantastic experience: The best dentist I have had in my nearly 60 years. I just had my 2nd root canal and I am beginning to think other dentists don’t care about their patients because I have heard horror stories about pain. I had no pain during or after, not even the next day. Thank you Dr. Young and staff.

Fantastic experience: Just had deep cleaning with EQ. Ruby was gentle, professional and knowledgeable. Dr Young is great as always. Front desk staffs were friendly and courteous. Love our new family dentist.

Negative experience: Steer clear of this dentist. Their office was a mess: boxes everywhere, walkways cluttered, chipped paint on every wall, crown molding just missing in large sections. It felt like they moved in that week but have been in this location for quite some time. Within 3 hours of my first and only visit, they sent me another patient's medication. No correction. No apology. I had to call in to find out why the hell they had sent me medication without even discussing it with me, only to find out the medication was meant for a different patient. This place is incredibly unprofessional and should be avoided.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had a really bad toothache and they got her in the same day(we were new patients)!! The staff and doctor was wonderful. My 11 year old daughter even said that the environment was so peaceful and I agreed too!! I would highly recommend!!

Positive experience: I am sending a review for being the caretaker after my son had 4 wisdom teeth pulled. He went in at 3pm and I got there at 4:30. It wasn’t too much longer and he walked out. He didn’t have anything except a paper saying what he needs to do for the next few days. By the time we got to the car he was bleeding down his chin. The paper said “don’t spit” so I gabbed a beach towel out of my truck “thank goodness I had a towel” he bled so much driving home. I asked if he had gauze in his mouth and he said no. I was shocked. I asked if they gave him any gauze he said no. He had chunks of blood. It was so nasty. I kept saying why wouldn’t they send you home with gauze or anything. We stopped at CVS and they don’t sell gauze for your mouth. (Like the long round ones they usually use at dentist offices) So we came home and I rolled up some paper towels and that really didn’t help. He kept letting the blood run from his mouth onto another towel. I threw the first one away. We made it but still don’t know how he was sent home with no gauze in his mouth or some to use through the next day. THEN two days later he said he felt something, he went back in and it was a piece of bone. The whole thing was weird. I think the doctor did what needed to be done and maybe the bone was just something that happens. But all the blood was a little much. I’m still giving him 4 stars because after it’s all said and done the wisdom teeth are gone.

Positive experience: I really appreciate the Dr (great at what he does) and one of the other reasons I've appreciated this practice are his front desk assistants. However, some are not as kind as they once were. I hope this gets better. It's becoming a turnoff for me.

Fantastic experience: The dentist was very friendly so were the people the technology at the place was awesome they have good technology for examining teeth. I will say the only downside about the place is that the price for filling cavities is expensive even if you have insurance.

Fantastic experience: I am someone who is amongst the large percentage of people that experience anxiety prior to going to the dentist, I've always been that way. Prior to finding EQ Dental, I would find every excuse to miss an appointment but I can honestly say that this has not been the case with EQ. The front staff is amazing, there have been times where they could that my anxiety was getting to be too much and they would assign me a room so I didn't have to continue to sit in the waiting room. When I walk through the back, I'm greeted by my first name. The staff is beyond incredible and Dr. Thomas Young is the greatest when working with patients. During my last visit I even said that I was excited to come, I've never said that about a dentist appointment. I cannot recommend EQ Dental enough. 5+ Stars

Fantastic experience: This practice is GREAT! I had an emergency and this was my first visit. They got me in right away (6:40 am Saturday morning) and I was back home before 9am. It’s a big repair and they laid out the whole plan for me today. I know the timeline and the expense upfront!!!! They were very attentive to my needs and let me lead the experience. Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr. Young for a while now. I love the fact I can call with an emergency and the staff does their best to get me in right away. I am super fearful of dental work but Dr. Young makes it less fearful.

Dr. Young knows what he’s doing, and I could not be any happier than to have gotten help here. Everyone is really sweet here & they do wisdoms teeth extractions which is a plus ! GO HERE!

Fantastic experience: My family & I have been seeing Dr. Young for a few years now. We have received excellent care. Dr. Young is honest & straightforward & always explains any options (if applicable). He genuinely wants you to be as comfortable as possible during all treatments. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I would love it even more if the dental staff would introduce themselves by name and update me a bit more during any procedures to let me know what is going on. This would make me feel more comfortable. I believe the pricing has been fair and the financial rep always explains costs to the best of her ability and welcomes questions.

Fantastic experience: Everyone at this office are amazing, always so pleasant and the work the doctor does is flawless, I had a cracked touch that hurt quite bad, not only did my tooth get fixed, the crown is exactly the same as the broken tooth, which makes the transition so much better. Love this office. I'm 55yo and this is my favorite dentist ever!!!

Fantastic experience: Everyone was very nice and professional and it seems very affordable and I found a five coupon for a haircut in the corner and not a stack of magazines. The procedure went pretty well and seemed very pleasant indeed thinking about having the same thing done in the past it was much better. X-ray machine is tiny and portable.

Fantastic experience: I would rate 4.5 stars out of paranoia, on how often they clean their tools. On my last visit, they had moved me from 1 room to another (i was getting a cleaning, then a tooth removal) and 2 tools still had some blue residue on them.. they NEED TO BE cleaned after ever patient.. besides that, Staff is Super nice and friendly! If you have an appointment, they'll even call you to tell you, you can come in sooner (if possible) And Dr.Young is amazing! And quick! You won't feel a thing! As well as they can work with your schedule!
