Inspire Dental of West Seneca

Negative experience: In May received a notice that I owed payment to them for $29 from my most recent visit (standard check up and cleaning). I stopped by their location and the receptionist advised that this was sent out in mistake and that my account showed no outstanding balances. She said that they had recently swapped billing services, the system was sending out false notices, and that it would resolve itself. I have continued to receive these notices. Now whenever I call to get an explanation of where these charges can be coming from no one picks up the phone and I'm being threatened that this is going to go to collections despite them not providing any explanation as to what the outstanding balance is related too. Update 8/5- received a call last week from Theresa the office manager to discuss my review. I called her back on Friday 8/1 @ 12:45pm (had been unable to call back sooner due to some personal matters). At that time it was again the usual experience that no one picks up the phone there, and as of this morning (8/5) did not receive a call back yet. Based on the multiple interactions I have had with them this level of customer service seems to be par for the course with them.

Fantastic experience: Great experience! Short wait time, welcoming staff, and the hygienist made me feel calm and comfortable. The doctor was very kind and professional. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Initially when we switched here we were very satisfied. The last few years it’s gone down hill. Both in adults and pediatrics - last minute appointment cancellations and then waiting 6+ months for your next cleaning, unable to get through and speak to someone, leaving multiple messages with no return call despite asking for an office manager or someone in charge specifically, and now two appointments cancelled with zero notice until I call to check why I’m getting cancellation notice emails. The office is so terribly run that any good of the providers is greatly overshadowed. Hygienists seem to have a high turnover as well although I’ve had a couple decent ones we never seem to get the same one again. One time the hygienist was so rough and shamed me for my teeth after they had cancelled not one but two appointments on me and I went over 12 months between cleanings.

Negative experience: No one answers the phone. Emails and texts saying we owe money, when insurance has always covered every penny. It's just checkups, nothing crazy. No EOB in the mail...I got a hold of someone once, and they said it was a mistake with their system, but I'm still getting all these texts. They cancel my appointments all the time. I call to reschedule, leave messages, they don't call back. I've had issues with this place for years, time to find someplace new.

Negative experience: Started off very happy with Inspire when my family and I first started there 8 years ago or so, but it has really went down hill... Now "The Smilists" with over 50 locations..Horribly Run....Getting through to the office, they never answer... If by some chance you lose insurance and want a cash for service option they will way over charge teeth cleaning $290 no xrays either, absurd. Appointment cancel whether they cancel or you? Well they will see you in another 6 months, so clearly understaffed or taking on more patients than they can handle. Very very dissapointing, Dentist I saw Dr.Lewis was always nice and professional, as well as most staff, but can't say I would recommend to anyone based on the way the company currently is running.

Negative experience: My daughter came to this office and we have had nothing but billing issues. Office never submitted the claim, United Healthcare stated that we added the office prior to going into the office and her insurance in fact was active, so she would have coverage with no issues. They never even called to check benefits as there is no record with UHC. Now there is a limitation issue and we keep receiving billing texts. We've called 3 times and they have not zero out the account as we were told each time. UHC has stated they can't charge my daughter due to their negligence in not handling the claim properly per HMO regulation. I am now going to contact insurance commissioner to report them as its frustrating to continue to deal with this even though they keep telling me they will handle the situation and we will not get these texts anymore.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Sadler and his assistant, Terri, made the whole experience comfortable. They asked if I had any pain, I could have more novacane. Each of them explained everything they were doing before they did it. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Inspire Dental is a great place for all your Dental needs. The staff are always super friendly and professional and they all do top notch work. I usually have a busy schedule and they have no problem scheduling an appointment that still works for me. If you have a fear of dental work and the pain that sometimes goes along with it, you will not find any of that here. Definetly highly recommend.

Very caring and explained what ever I asked her.The reason I go there is because of dr lewis.She is the best dentist I ever had.She knows her job she is honest and helpful. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs a dentist. My whole family goes to her.Never had any problems.

Fantastic experience: I am extremely pleased with Inspire Dental's services and caring about patients needs. I had to switch dentist's because mine retired. I then delayed getting my root canals for over a year and a half because I was super scared of going to a new dentist to get this done. Dr. DeRose and his team were awesome and exceeded all of my expectations. I felt so comfortable after my first visit that I decided to get two rootcanals at once a few weeks later-- then I even went to work afterward. I highly recommend Inspire Dental in Orchard Park.

Fantastic experience: First class. Everyone is very professional and friendly. Definitely the place to go. The new ownership has caused scheduling issues. They don't always answer the phone. If it goes to voicemail you leave a message and they say they will get back to you. They never do. Please go back to the 1st class operation you were. At the West Seneca location everyone is awesome. It is the new ownership that is ruining their reputation.

Fantastic experience: I been there twice so far the last year they had put the wrong insurance in there system second time I went back and explained to the girl and she screwed it up again they need better employees that are more knowledgeable with this situation I would not recommend my friends .

Each employee made sure I was so comfortable by providing me blankets, warm packs, had a pleasant sense of humor to easy any anxiety I had. The employees were quick to assist one another before Dr. Capozzi completed my extraction. She is always pleasant and professional. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience ever appointment . From the front desk staff, the hygienist, to the dentist. They make the visit enjoyable and take the fear out of going to the dentist!

Negative experience: Dental office and staff are great but the third party billing procedure is making me look elsewhere. It's very inconvenient and shouldn't be so hard to actually pay a bill.

Fantastic experience: My new hygienist Candice did a very good job cleaning my teeth. Did a consultation with Dr. Kemp for an up coming oral surgery did well explaining what would be done.

From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a smile. Everyone is very nice. Makes you feel like you like going there, even though you keep hearing people say that no one likes going to the dentist that is not the case here.

Fantastic experience: My visit to inspire Dental was a great experience. My hygienist, Abby, was the best hygienist I have had in decades. I was the last appointment of the evening and she still took her time and did a very thorough cleaning. During the cleaning, she was firm and made sure to clean each tooth, yet at the same time she was gentle....it was perfect balance. Additionally, she was very kind too. The dentist was also very nice when performing the exam after cleaning.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Inspire for years. Dr Sadler and his assistant Terri are great and they explain everything to you. Krista and Melissa are the best hygienists. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Nobody likes going to the dentist including me. I have very sensitive teeth and the experience is never fun. I had a scheduled teeth cleaning with Melissa and when I tell you it was the BEST teeth cleaning I’ve ever had hands down. No pain, not uncomfortable in any way. She was extremely gentle and very thorough. I can now honestly say that I’m already excited for my next appointment! Excellent job!!!

Fantastic experience: I have not been to the dentist in more years than I want to say. I was very nervous about going. The front desk ladies were extremely friendly. The hygienist was super kind and took plenty of time explaining things to me. Dr. Lewis is very nice and totally listened to me. No judgement about my failure to go to the dentist in a very long while. She really put me at ease. This is a big deal for me! I am so happy that I went here. I found it on line and I am sooo glad I did!

He redid some dental work from a previous practice and I feel very good about the outcome. The rest of the staff is wonderful and very kind.

Positive experience: I have never really had a problem with this practice. However, they recently canceled my appointment and now can’t get me in for 6+ months… that is not okay. I pride myself on good dental hygiene and get cleanings every 6 months, now it’ll be a year by the time I get seen again. The practice has gotten so big now that they can’t even take care of the existing patients they have. Very disappointed and frustrated with this situation.

Fantastic experience: We were referred to Inspire by a friend after our regular dentist suggested a pediatric dentist for fillings for my 6 year old. I cannot begin to describe how pleased I was with the dentists attentiveness to my son at both our consult and the filing appointments. Both times, he became upset during the testing/treatment and she immediately stopped and reapproached with a different tactic. Throughout the appointments, she describes exactly what she is doing and why. 100 stars for these experiences!!

Fantastic experience: The appointment is on time and the surgery is smooth. I am out of the office within half an hour.

Negative experience: Do not go to inspire Dental without having it checked by another dentist. And know there is a 2 year 6 month statute of limitations to file a claim against them. I had three root canals done by Dr Pathak, at the Amherst office they are not done well, not complete and not done to Medical standards according to an oral surgeon and an endodontist outside inspire. The doctor should never have performed the procedure she should have referred it out. I am loosing 2 of the 3 teeth she did and will eventually loose the 3rd. Not right when they are responsible for my dental care! I have received No compensation due to 3 years gone by.

Fantastic experience: I have always enjoyed my dental cleanings. My hygienist and Dentist are friendly and knowledgeable. They are always able to answer any questions I have. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

Negative experience: I used to love this practice and recommended it to family and friends. However in the last 1-2 years they have not been great. Practice is never staffed and they want you cancel on you at 6am and reschedule 7 months out. That's not acceptable. My insurance covers cleanings every 6 months, you can't even book treatments because they are so booked out do to under staffing. Hygienist today, Jen didn't even say hello, how are you, she was too busy listening to her airpods during my service.

Dr. Michelle Lewis was very thorough with my treatment plan and was kind to take the time to answer all of my questions I had for my upcoming appointment.

Negative experience: Well,thought I had a good dentist ..But when you go there (and waiting 3 weeks for an appointment ,while I was In pain and still am)..Dr Lewis tells me the tooth that's Hurting me .....Is. "strong"...And doesn't need to be pulled ..And said she won't do it ,cause it's her reputation on the line ...Well,I Have PAIN there . And I want dentures..Wont do it ..SO I LEFT WITH PAIN...So obviously it was more money and more xrays ,when they already had xrays..So a waste of my time...So I live with PAIN the rest of my life ..So Tell me ,how is this Right??About to pull my own tooth.,it's so bad ..So I would NOT RECOMMEND this dentist to NOBODY !!!Unless you want to spend money FOR NOTHING ..Very disappointed....Insomnia,And put on Meds for depression cause of this .

Fantastic experience: I went to Inspire Dental and was very pleased with my experience. I don’t have dental insurance, they offer a very nice package. That’s very reasonable for a whole year of service. My dentist, Dr DeRose At the Orchard Park location, Was excellent. He replaced an old crown, and did it perfectly. He was very kind and took his time. His work is impeccable. I highly recommend him to be anybody’s dentist!

Negative experience: There isn’t enough room to detail every instance of dissatisfaction with Inspire Dental. However I will say that there are always a lot of excuses all around at Inspire Dental. Depending on who of the staff you talk to, you’ll get different stories/policies. They have no problem standing around and wasting time chatting while you’ve been sitting and waiting for the scheduled appt. If another doctor in the practice is being treated there, they will bump you and go ahead even if you’ve been waiting over 30 mins past your scheduled time. All of this was done right out in the open and seemed to be a common thing for staff while in the Buffalo office, as the patient who has been waiting watched. It’s not a welcoming place, it’s a lot of excuses - every single visit at either West Seneca or Buffalo offices.

Fantastic experience: Always a pleasant visit at Inspire Dental. Krista and Dr. Pallotta make the entire experience of going to the dentist relaxed and stress free. I highly recommend both these top notch health care professionals to anyone who has to undergo a dental exam or procedure.

Fantastic experience: The staff is prompt, courteous, professional. They are perfectionists. They want your teeth as good looking as yours. They always have a post meeting where they discuss full disclosure on the treatment plan and costs associated. My understanding, please don’t quite this one, they do fluoride treatments, cavities, broken teeth, dental implants, TMJ, bridges, dentures, cleanings and more. Most importantly, they really acknowledge and address any fears about pain, phobias about past bad dental work,; they do not shame you for having neglected cleanings, . They are Available 24/7! The staff works and investigates all insurance options.available. I recommend Inspire Dental Group for children and adults wholeheartedly. Fantastic experience: I have been going to Inspire for about 15 years and have been extremely happy with my service. The hygienists are always very pleasant and do a wonderful job on my teeth. It is always easy and fast to make an appointment. I also now take my 2 year old to them as well and he loves to go and is happy when he leaves.

Fantastic experience: Today was the first day in years I’ve been to the dentist due to anxiety from a couple bad experiences from when I was younger. I seen Shannon for my cleaning and she was excellent then I seen Dr. Lewis and between the two of them they chose the right choice of treatment for me. Overall the experience that inspired provided was top notch would definitely recommend them.

Positive experience: Some of my experiences have not always been positive, especially when it comes to understanding payments regarding explaining on treatment plans when having extensive dental work done. I have been a patient at Inspire Dental for almost 40 yrs and I feel things were better back when I first started going when it named something else under different management. I do like the work done on my teeth and have had some very nice friendly hygienists. I also like Dr Sandler as my dentist. I think managers could be a little more friendly toward understanding clients and solving problems. Also when I call about an issue I very rarely get a call back when they say they will return my phone calls.

Fantastic experience: Inspire has been our dentist for years. They are very professional and personable. We schedule months ahead to get my next appointments and my special needs son’s appointments are together. They keep me informed as to what going on with him also. I do recommend this practice to family and friends.

Let me know what to expect coming up as she worked and left in pretty much no pain at all. It’s the next day and everything is still great. I would highly recommend Dr. Kemp and her surgical team.

Negative experience: Not a great experience so far. Had to have a crown made and when I came in to get it put in, it wasn’t even close. Like the sample was from someone else’s mouth. They tried to get it to fit by grinding away some of the crown and my tooth that was not numbed at all and hurt a bit. Once they realized it wasn’t going to fix properly they re-molded it and put another temporary crown in but they left a bit of my tooth exposed to get hit by cold and hot foods. Was very uncomfortable for almost 2 weeks until I called to ask when I could come in to get it finished. Then find out they had my wrong number on file. Not happy with them thus far. Really hoping to find a good solid dentist, may have to keep looking.
