Fantastic experience: We had such a wonderful experience here! My 2-year-old needed white caps, and I was nervous about the process, but the entire team was absolutely amazing from start to finish. They were so patient, gentle, and caring — making sure my little one felt safe and comfortable the whole time. The dentist explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and treated my child like their own. The results look beautiful and natural! I’m so grateful we found this office and highly recommend them to any parent looking for exceptional pediatric dental care.

Negative experience: The doctors are great! The administration and billing were not helpful at all. They seemed to know very little about the insurance coverages and policies. My wife and I have our boys double covered and that turned out to be completely useless and what was even more frustrating was the staff at the front desk would always say “They’re double covered it should be….”. We kept paying more and more and keep getting large bulls and finally I had to call my dental insurance and my wife’s dental insurance to find out that Parkview was no longer in network for either one of our policies. This was never communicated to us by the staff nor was the fact that their secondary insurance never paid anything. We love the doctors but the complete lack of knowledge and communication by the admin and billing staff was very unprofessional. We have since moved on to a new pediatric dental office that is much more knowledgeable and upfront about these things. My wife and I have paid hundreds and hundreds of dollars and they sent us a bill for almost a thousand dollars and just said “sorry that’s the amount due”. I’m sorry but with three kids and taking care of elderly mother we don’t have that kind of disposable income. The boys and my wife and I were sad to leave the doctors but we couldn’t stay with that kind of admin staff.

Fantastic experience: The Staff at Parkview were so nice and comforting. They made my 5yr old son very comfortable and prepared him for what was to come. We are so happy with the service they provided. My son also loves the blanket he was given, he says “it’s really soft”. We will definitely keep going to Parkview.

Fantastic experience: We’ve gone to Parkview since my son was a few months old. They have always provided excellent care. They’ve always answered any and every question I had thoroughly. We always leave feeling great. My son actually gets excited to go to the dentist!

It was my sons first time seeing dentist in a while and he’s pretty anxious about any doctor visits, from the beginning they were super helpful and friendly, they would explain everything they were doing to me and then to my son to help him understand what was going on. Dr T was so kind and took her time explaining everything to us. Check in and Check out were also very nice and helpful. This is a kid friendly environment and I ain’t going to lie I wish they can see me as a patient lol but y'all's kids will definitely be comfortable here.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dusty was very professional and quick with his service. He fixed our babies tongue tie in a matter of minutes. Him and his team were very knowledgeable on the whole process and walked us through every step of the way from the consultation to the actual procedure. Negative experience: (Continued from Amber Estrada) I said, "I am not an idiot. I would appreciate if you would make your point and not just keep reiterating the same information so I can take my daughter and leave." She said, "You can't leave just yet." I said, "Yes, I am aware she needs to stay on oxygen for a bit longer." She again repeated that they would no longer treat my child, and said she just wanted to make sure I understood. I have a college level education. I am perfectly able to comprehend when a person is saying they are refusing to treat my child simply because I chose to advocate for them. The sedative they gave her did not take effect until about an hour after they had her take it. She showed no signs of it being in effect while in the office. The only thing that was obvious was her heightened anxiety due to the nitrous. On our way home she was obviously affected by the oral sedative and was saying she was seeing double. She also began sobbing and again saying, " It was all her fault." & "That was the worst dentist I've ever been to." My child experienced something traumatic and then was blamed for it. I was not charged anything for the visit, even though they gave her the oral sedative and did administer some local. To me this shows that they realize they did something wrong, and instead of aknowledging this fact they chose to attempt to placate me. Please do not bring your children to this dentist. Trust is a two way street and is earned, not bestowed just because of a degree and title.

Negative experience: If i could zero stars, I would All dentists that my children have seen here have been heavy-handed. They force children to cooperate. While in this office, all we heard was children screaming and crying. Any time my children asked for details, with regards to their treatment, the dentists have been dismissive. They placate patients and parents with niceties, but when it comes time for treatment they ignore what the child is saying and get upset when a parent trys to advoctae for their child. On our final visit to this office, because the dentist dismissed my child as patient, my daughter was extremely nervous and we chose to use oral sedation in addition to nitrous. We were told that this sedative would make my child sleepy. She experiences heightened anxiety on nitrous and I had informed the dental office of this. They said that it would be fine. After taking the oral sedative and being put on nitrous, my child did show signs of heightened anxiety. When my child asked the dentist what she would do if the sedative didn't work, the dentist replied, "I'll help you." While trying to administer the local anesthetic my child asked to see the needle. The dentist showed her a portion of it and then proceeded to try to administer the anesthetic. My child became more anxious because she wasn't shown the whole needle and began to try and turn her head to see what the dentist had in her hand. The assistant tried to hold her head still, as did the dentist and she put the needle in her mouth and administered the anesthetic. I was holding my child's hands so she wouldn't place them near her mouth, and had weight on her hips so she wouldn't buck them upward. After one side of her mouth was numb, my child again asked to see the needle. The dentist said, "I already showed you." My child said, "No, you didn't." The dentist never fully showed her the needle the local anesthetic is connected to, and told her something along the lines of, " We dont use that word." My child began to flail more, and then said, "Mom, please help." All the While, the dentist kept repeating, "You can't move your head, that's not safe." I concur with that fact. It was not safe to try to place a local while my child was moving, or to forcefully hold her in place to do so. It was not safe for my child or any one else near the needle. The dentist did not attempt to de-escalate the situation or to ease my child's nerves. She did not listen when my child tried to advocate for herself. After my child said, "Mom, please help!" I said, "You need to stop." The dentist attempted to keep going for a short while. I finally raised my voice and said, "Everyone needs to take their hands off my child." The dentist responded by saying, "Your child is going to get sick. She needs oxygen." I never said for them to remove her from the oxygen or to try and proceed in an unsafe manner. The dentist then said, "We're done with treatment.", and left the room. While she was out I spoke with an assistant about general anesthesia for my child's treatment. I signed a consent for general anesthesia and was told I would be contacted by someone to schedule that appointment in the near future. After the dentist left, my child became very upset, began crying and kept saying, "I'm so sorry. It's my fault." She had blood smeared all over her cheeks and was very upset. At some point, the dentist returned with a person who was from the billing department, and essentially blamed me and my child for the situation that occurred. She didn't apologize and just kept saying that there needed to be trust and I didn't trust them. This had nothing to do with me trusting them, and everything to do with them acting in good faith and listening to what my child was saying. I asked her to please make her point, because I assumed there was a point to be made. She said, " They would not be providing treatment for my child any longer." I asked, "To be clear you're dismissing my child as a patient?" She would not give a straight yes or no. She just kept repeating herself over and over.

Fantastic experience: We have always had a good experience! Even though dentists trips with little ones are usually not the most fun, Dr. Molly and her staff are always incredibly patient and kind to my kids and help keep us calm, too! Thank you Dr. Molly!!

Fantastic experience: I was so happily surprised by how kind and intentional the dentist was with my 18 month old. She took time to let my son turn on the toothbrush and light that she was going to use and show him how it felt on his hand before starting to clean his teeth. This helped us get through our appt with almost no tears. She also took time to answer all our questions. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: I came to Parkview for a second opinion on my daughter’s teeth. We drove from Amarillo. Let me tell you that their staff was so attentive & made us feel comfortable. Especially my 5 yr old daughter. They explained everything on what treatment was going to be done on her. Thank you Dr.Dusty for treating my daughter the same day as she was experiencing uncomfortable pain due to her abscessed tooth! She had a good experience, didn’t cry during any of it. Fantastic experience: I was incredibly impressed by Parkview Pediatric, I went to both locations and they are both nice, gorgeous offices. We had my kid's cleanings at the north and transferred to the south for a consultation with a specialist and so blown away by the dentists, dental assistants and kind receptionists. Dr T saw both my kids and my 4 year old had a bad experience for his first dental visit back in Abilene, so there were a lot of nerves going into our first visit at Parkview and the assistant was able to get X-rays of his teeth no problem, cleaning went well and Dr T was very kind and gentle with both my kids. We will for sure be back again, we found our dental home with Parkview! Dr T is fabulous and excited to work with Dr Dusty for a tongue tie release that they caught early for my daughter!

Fantastic experience: Parkview Pediatrics Dentistry in my opinion is the most kid friendly place I have had the pleasure of experiencing. The staff do an awesome service for children that go there. I just want to tell everyone there, thank you so much for making my kids feel the comfort of home. The new location is beautiful lots of room and cleanliness is great. Fantastic experience: Dentist and lactation consultant took great care of us when evaluating and releasing my baby’s tongue, lip, and cheek ties. They are easy to contact with concerns 24/7 and made me feel as comfortable as possible through a procedure that can feel difficult to put your little baby through. I highly recommend this office.

Fantastic experience: The best dental office we have ever been! Service is amazing from the front desk from the dental assistants and specially from Dr. Molly! Every one was so kind and helpful and very knowledgeable and explained everything in great details. They are also very welcoming and took really good care of our daughter! Fantastic experience: The staff here are amazing! I drove two hours with an hour time difference to take my daughter to her appointment. A provider was sick and they called me as soon as they could to let me know. Most other places would have made me reschedule, but not them. They offered me the opportunity to go go on with the appointment at there other location. They were so professional, but most of all gentle and kind to my daughter! I would go back and recommend anyone to these locations.

Positive experience: Dr. Molly is great with the kids and always asks if I have any questions or concerns. My main concern is informed consent. My children received treatments which were not discussed with me. I didn't find out until I received my bill. When I talked to the office about it, I was told they were standard treatments and that is why they were discussed with me. Which is unacceptable. So if you are not wanting certain treatments I encourage you to speak up and ask questions. Which they are always great about answering. Just not great about informing ahead of time.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Janssen was very professional and caring. He takes care of his patients and makes them feel comfortable and safe. He’s the best pediatric dentist I’ve met! I highly recommend him for a frenuloplasty (tongue-tie) procedure.

Fantastic experience: Here’s to Parkway Pediatric Dentistry! Hands down the best children’s dentist in the Lubbock Metro Area. We have four children and that equals a lot of the teeth to keep clean and well cared for. Parkview has always understood if we need to reschedule all while working within our limited budget. They are also sensitive to our holistic medical preferences. We are extremely appreciative of the professionalism and care for our children. Our kids feel comfortable going to the dentist quite unlike when I was a child. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Parkview staff and especially Dr. Dusty!

Fantastic experience: I am so thankful for Parkview Pediatric Dentistry. My daughter broke her 2 front permanent teeth. It was over the weekend so I called the emergency line. Dr. Molly called me back quickly, gave us directions on how to save the teeth & calmed my anxiety. They were able to get us in first thing on Monday morning & made her teeth look brand new! Definitely 10/10 experience!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Molly is always so pleasant and delightful. She is wonderful with my children and is heart warming with them. She is the best pediatric Dentists. I am so happy my kids are not afraid to go see her and her staff.

Fantastic experience: My daughter (6) had oral surgery done to released her lip and tongue tie. We had a freak accident where my daughter somehow managed to pulled out almost all of her stitches, after we went home. Dr. Dusty, not only took our on call call, texted, reassured us everything would be okay, brought us back in where he fixed everything, and he didn’t recharge us. He is kind and good at his job. He is going to make sure everything is done correctly and stays that way. We drove 2 hours because of how highly he is rated, and the ratings don’t lie. Hands down best pediatric dental experience.

Fantastic experience: I have to edit my review after our visit with Dr Molly today. Our autistic son has seen her since he was a baby, he is now 9. He has learned to trust her & the staff. They are always so patient & let him know everything they are doing before they jump into it. The reason I needed to edit was because there was another family there today & I believe the mom only spoke Spanish but Dr Molly started explaining stuff to her in Spanish. I thought it was really awesome of her & I'm beyond impressed. She is a fantastic Dr & she has an amazing staff.

My daughter saw Dr. Dusty for a bruised gum tissue and he did a great job explaining the x-rays & confirmed there wasn't serious damage. Fantastic experience: If I could give this place a million stars I would! The staff is so kind and moves quickly to take care of their patients. Dr. Dusty made the experience a lot less scary for my nervous toddlers. They left excited for their next appointment.

Most of all I love how they take the time to explain what they are doing every step of the way in ways for my child to understand. I love how they praise my child after the work is done makes my child feel like a big boy. Also, the dental assistants how calm and friendly they are to both my child and myself and explain everything the doctors are going to do and make sure my child is completely comfortable. The front desk she's always very nice and has a smile. The ladies who check you out and gets you your appt reminders and or school notes from there always great and very friendly. Thanks to everyone here at the dentistry yall are ALL awesome keep up the great work and continue doing what yall do.❤️

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jon was our dentist and he moved, he was great and my son enjoyed him. Today we were introduced by Dr. Z who took the time to shake my hand and get to know my son before taking a look at his teeth. It meant a lot to me as I was nervous for somebody new. The information provided was helpful and all the staff were friendly, from the receptionist at the front, to the two ladies who took our X-rays, the one who got him all cleaned up, and lastly the woman who scheduled our follow up. I really enjoy this place and the people as well. It’s obvious that they care for the children and enjoy their work.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Parkview Pediatric Dentistry!! I always feel respected here. The front desk are polite, and very organized. My son’s doctor today who has recently moved to this clinic was amazing, she took time to make the visit as fun and productive as possible. My 2 years old freaks out when we take him to any visit, but today he cooperated with her ( wish I remembered her name!) and eventually held her hand and walked out of the room!! It was so comforting for me as a mom. Thanks to all the people who make this place so enjoyable and friendly.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dusty is amazing! Our first visit to him was smooth sailing after my son had a few traumatic visits to different dentist offices. I have been searching for a doctor like him. He talked me through everything he was planning to do for my 5 yr old and what the process will be like. He took his time to show me what needed to be done with my child and answered any questions I had. We go back for an operation soon and I feel completely comfortable with him being the one to do it. He also made sure my son felt safe and happy during the time he spent with him. The office staff was also just as helpful and kind. I have never encountered such a welcoming and sweet doctor office like this.

Fantastic experience: Great service.. I was having a bad day myself and my toddler was being dramatic about a simple little. 5 minute fix.. SHE FELT NO PAIN...!! Yet she was having a meltdown.. but the office staff was so sweet about it.. despite my child, the staff were kind, pleasant, and quick..!! GREAT SERVUCE.!! Thank you SOOO MUCH.! Definitely keeping this dentist in the family.!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Janssen were wonderful! I wasn’t sure my daughter could sit through her first dental treatment without fear and some struggle. But they made it a breeze! From numbing shots to drilling and evening pulling a tooth, she was comfortable and felt safe with them. She was sad that everything ended so quickly and said she loves the dentist now. Won’t ever take my kids anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: We haven't had a bad experience yet. They are always so kind, they get us in and out in a timely manner, and they make sure we have no questions and understand fully everything with our child before we leave. Such a breathe of fresh air from the last place we went. Highly recommend them. We Love Dr. Molly!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love Dusty and all of the staff at Parkview. We have been going to them for the last 3 years and visit both clinics. Each time everyone is so patient and kind to all 4 of my boys and have accommodated all of their needs and offer us all of the support!! They are so amazing!!

Fantastic experience: Our overall experience was pleasant from kindly being greeted upon our arrival to setting up our next appointment on our way out. The wait time was not excessive. Dr. Janssen and his staff were developmentally appropriate when interacting with my two year old grandson to explaining food and drink alternative choices for him to me. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I cannot adequately express how grateful I am for Dr John, Dr Molly and the staff! I brought in two kids who were very very apprehensive about the visit and they were so extremely caring and kind. Words just can not express how amazed I was with their patience both with my kids and also with me! They understood how hard it was as a mother to bring in a kicking and screaming 7 year old. Each and every person we encountered went above and beyond to try to make all of us comfortable. I highly recommend this business for your kids, especially with kids who struggle with anxiety.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jansen and his staff are so incredibly amazing and kind. My son had to get some “extra” teeth pulled out, so he was obviously very nervous. His hands and voice are so gentle...he explained the process in words my son could understand, moved swiftly and gently. With the movie playing above him and he and his nurse moving seamlessly, the teeth were gone within a moment and he never even flinched. The process was easy and not scary at all. My boys don’t balk at all at the idea of going to “that really nice dentist”...Dr. Jansen. Always a pleasant experience! Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: Best place ever!!!! The staff is always smiling and very friendly. They make ou feel welcome from the moment you walk in. It is so kid friendly. And Dr Dusty is one of the kindest doctors I have encountered. One of my twins was having a very hard time with a tooth and he went above and beyond to accommodate her and help fix it immediately. He even called us at home the next day to check on her. It was a Sunday so he was not at work. When my girls, or other kiddos, cry and are afraid, he gets down on their level and will talk to kindly to them to make Them feel better. Lubbock is blessed to have such great people!!! Dr. Dusty and his staff genuinely care about what they do!
