Fantastic experience: Great dental office. Everyone provides great service... Staff are friendly and diligent in their work. Dr Will is great, caring, explains and answers questions. And, dental hygienist, Jay, is fantastic. He cares about his patients dental health, does a great cleaning, and explains how to correct brushing problems.

Fantastic experience: My experience with CHD spans at least 30 years. My younger daughter is 41 and we found CHD probably when she was 10. We have been with them this whole time. I'm much older and still terrified since my childhood of dentists. That's my problem. Point is, Amanda, the office manager has been the most patient, caring and professional lady all these years. She's very informative and will actually work with us financially. The staff, as well, has been incredibly patient and professional. We have been blessed having their dental services available all these years. I cannot leave Dr. Deju out of this. She is the stability of Citrus heights dental. Professional, kind, sincere. Thank you all Smile, you're in the best dental arena at Citrus Heights Dental. As I get older I seem to visit CHD more and more. It's nice to feel like you're visiting your friends. Yes, the shots are a real pain, but the rest is fine. Thank you again for being the best.

Fantastic experience: Follow up and cleaning. The bone graft Dr. Will did in October 2024 took really well. It was a procedure that was pretty involved, I had no idea. He did a beautiful job! I did not even need to take the pain meds he prescribed, he took his time and was super patient. The staff is always outstanding as well. THANK YOU!

Fantastic experience: I started coming here last year for an emergency root canal and was absolutely taken care of by the doctor and staff. I was obviously very anxious about everything and they made me feel like I was eight years old again at the dentist being given a toy and a reassuring smile (in a good way). Today, I went in for a checkup and they followed up on a question I had about coverage- they made sure to actually FULLY research a bridge procedure for me so I knew what my insurance would cover and what to expect. I moved farther away 10 months ago but still drive half an hour just to come here!

My family likes this office because they are doing very good job on cleaning teeth, performing all kind of works and family friendly. We specifically like work of the hygienist Tatyana and doctor Will. Front office is very friendly and doing excellent job on appointments and follow apps. We highly recommend this office.

Fantastic experience: I called this dental office because I was in the aging pain and I went to a different dentist this morning (went to an emergency dentist who assured me two days and the day before that they could help), but they told me if I don’t pay upfront They won’t be able to pull my wisdom teeth even though it’s infected and I could barely eat and drink. When I called this place, the lady on the phone was super sweet even though I Was crying because I was in a lot of pain she assured me she would try to help me and they were able to take me in the same day within a couple of hours Once I got there, everybody was super friendly and super attentive, helped me through my pain and even told me how to do aftercare they were super patient with me even though I was a bit moody. I recommend this place to anybody who is scared to go to the dentist or has an emergency and lost hope. All the staff here are here to help you instead of just collecting a paycheck like some places. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND then to everyone!! Thank yall so so much

Fantastic experience: My old dentist retired so I came here as a new patient today. I can't say enough how impressed I am with this place. Aside from top of the line technology and very easy process checking in and out, but the staff is wonderful. My hygienist was very nice, knowledgeable, and did a fine job with my cleaning. Amanda at the front desk upon checkout was incredibly friendly and helpful with sorting out my insurance issues. Did not feel rushed and felt genuinely cared for. Did not feel like they were trying to upsell me or rip me off in any way which I appreciate. Just good old fashioned professional service and kindness. I'm very happy to have found a new regular dentist. Highly recommend this place and I look forward to coming back.

Fantastic experience: I was misdiagnosed because a dentist misread my xrays. Dr. Will was able to save my tooth without needing to fully extract it or get an implant. My tooth pain was all gone and my facial pain fully resolved after he did a root canal (he put so much effort into the procedure). Dr. Will is very ethical and I fully trust him with my teeth!!

Fantastic experience: Everyone in this office, from the office staff to the dental assistants as well as the dentists, go above & beyond to make sure you get the attention and care you need. Everyone there is cheerful & helpful. The customers always seem relaxed and happy while they wait for their appointments; that by itself is a *great* sign of a well-run establishment! I had two extractions and they were virtually pain-free! I was amazed and greatly relieved at how concerned they were with my comfort. I've never felt better about a dental office and Dr. Nanra, besides being a great dentist who really knows his stuff, is genuinely pleasant and compassionate. I couldn't want anything more and I give everyone there the highest rating as well as my highest regards. Thank you for everything you all do to make dental care an actual pleasant and relaxing experience! I must also mention that they did all they could to help me to afford the care I needed. I searched for months to find a dentist and office willing to adjust their rates so that I could afford my treatment. I simply can't thank you all enough! Fantastic experience: My favorite dental office in all of Sacramento. I have been coming here for over 15+ years. Their doctor is amazing and so are the hygienist. The front desk workers are also very helpful And my family has built an amazing relationship with all the staff. I had a really bad root canal After my pregnancy and they did such an amazing job of treating me and attending to my pain and the fact that I have a lot of anxiety when I’m in the chair And the doctor always takes this time and makes me feel extremely comfortable and safe. I will never go anywhere else and I highly recommend and have also recommended two friends and family and they also love!:)

Fantastic experience: I needed to see a dentist asap due to a very painful tooth. I could not get in with my dentist for over a week even after I told them my tooth/jaw was very painful. I was somewhat familiar with Citrus Heights Dental as I live in this area. I called and spoke to Amanda, who was soooo knowledgeable and helpful. She fit me in their schedule the next morning for x-rays and an evaluation. The office was amazing. It was very clean and professional. The staff could not have kinder. They treated me like I was a family member. The girls that took my x-rays were so friendly and gentle and were genuinely concerned with my situation. I was diagnosed with an infection with the need for a root canal. Unfortunately I had no coverage with my insurance carrier but Amanda went over my options and provided info where to call to find assistance. She went above and beyond but I think she is probably that way with everyone . (Then in top of everything when I asked about pain meds she was telling me what could take and one of the receptionists got up and went and gave me some samples. And she wasn’t even helping me ! )After my other experiences with dental offices, this encounter was very refreshing. My only regret is that I cannot continue with them. I do plan on enrolling in a dental plan that they accept. Thank you all again

Negative experience: I am changing my review from 5 stars to 1. I received an email from staff with my x-rays that I requested, accompanied by a Bible verse. This is extremely disrespectful towards individuals that have different religious beliefs, or are agnostic. This isn't church. It's the dentist. I'm going to the dentist for professional dental care that respects all religions, not to read Bible verses. I think staff needs a refresher on inclusive language. It's 2025, marriage is between two human beings. The staff member that talked to me kept saying "your husband" when I said I got married. I'm married to a woman.

Fantastic experience: I have been going here for a little over 5 years. The staff is great and educated about their job so they have any information I need readily available. The big bonus is that they are open Saturdays. It’s hard for me to take time off at work so Saturdays are the only days I can see a dentist. I have had a lot of work done on my teeth and never had any issues so I highly recommend them.

Negative experience: This place is horrible! Hygienist are average at best, and like to rush you in and out but what’s so horrible is that they rip you off! I have insurance and scheduled for a regular cleaning but they want to double dip and charge me out of pocket. They called it maintenance cleaning but there’s no difference between regular cleaning and whatever they called it. All I thought i was getting was a regular cleaning which i was disappointed in and they had the audacity to charge me too? I warned you!

Fantastic experience: The staff at Citrus Heights Dental are the best!! They go out of their way to ensure you have a great experience and that you’re healing well afterwards. It’s been a long road for me to find a good dental group, 20+ years. I’ve finally found a great group; from the front office to dentists all have been awesome!!!

Negative experience: the worst. I have got into a car accident and so was in a delay. 8 minutes delay - The operator called me asking if i'm coming and i confirmed. She asked if I still need 20 minutes for my cleaning which we planned for 40min and i reconfirmed. i also explained i was in a difficult life situation. When i arrived and i had 20 minutes left - the receptionist was rude and simply cancelled my appointment. i had no resources left to argue that day. Kept silence and left the clinique.

Fantastic experience: Couldn't find a better staffed, friendly, professional, modern technique, diversified practice than CHD. I've been a client for several years and have never had a negative issue. My motto: the best or nothing. This is Citrus Heights Dental.

Fantastic experience: The staff, hygienist, and dentist were wonderful to work with. I was very worried about this appointment after not seeing a dentist for a while and experiencing pain in my jaw but they handled the appointment with such care. I definitely recommend this office especially if you a have anxiety seeing the dentist. They were able to get me into an appointment very quickly when they learned of my tooth pain.

Fantastic experience: Greetings, I had a veneer come off my tooth earlier this week. I called my dentist office, Citrus Heights Dental, and they were able to get me into the dental chair promptly and repair my tooth. And I should say that my normal dentist (of many years) didn't do the procedure as he was out of the office. The dentist handling the procedure today did a marvelous job, so my report is that the office is fully staffed with reliable professional dentists to provide outstanding care. I am a very pleased client and would recommend Citrus Heights Dental to anyone seeking reliable and cost effective dental care. Martin

Fantastic experience: I came into this dentistry for my first time today, and I have to say they were so friendly and kind. Even on the phone making my appointment, the front desk ladies are very kind and friendly. You can tell they love their jobs and where they work. I was seen very quickly and the lady who was working with me, Olicia, I believe was her name, was EXTREMELY comforting and friendly. I would highly recommend to anyone especially ones that have that fear of the dentist. They definitely will put you at ease.

Negative experience: I came in for a teeth whitening & to get a filling for my two front teeth. The whitening went well. The filling was a nightmare. Not only did they say they couldn’t do what I asked for— mid appointment — AND something that I’ve gotten fixed prior AND something that I got fixed post this disastrous appointment at a different dental office, they “fixed” something that didn’t need fixing causing more problems in the first place. They started filing the back of my teeth and gave me a filling there that didn’t fit at all. It was uneven and I chipped my two front teeth because of how poorly it was fitted into my mouth. After they “fixed” their mistake, the filling fell out 2 months later. 1/5 stars. If you like your teeth, don’t go here.

Fantastic experience: I had come to Citrus Heights Dental for an implant and they did a GREAT job. I am very pleased and would highly recommend them but they weren't accepting new patients with my insurance. So I starting going to another dentist for my basic needs. After a couple of visits the other dentist diagnosed decay under an existing crown and said they couldn't drill through it to remove the decay and fill it, I'd need a new crown which would cost close to $2,000. I went back to Citrus Heights Dental for an xray and 2nd opinion and guess what? There was NOTHING wrong with the tooth. Now I'm back there and they are my dentist. The staff is always friendly. I'm always taken back for my appointment on time. Any treatment necessary is explained. I appreciate that there is never any "hard sell" of products or services.

Fantastic experience: The staff are very friendly and helpful! I love going to Citrus Heights Dental! The dentists and their assistants are very good at what they do and even though I drive 35 minutes to get there its worth the drive. I highly recommend them!

Negative experience: I do not recommend coming here at all you can get better service and prices at other dental places around. I spent 30 in the waiting room after finishing paperwork, while others with appointments after mine where serviced first. When I went back to see the dentist he told me that he would have to pull three of my teeth even tho one of them could have been/ was saved. The dental assistant was very nice. They had me wait out in the office after my appointment for another 30 minutes, when she called me up I informed the front desk lady that I would not be coming back due to services not being up to par. She seemed to be upset and stated that she didn’t know if my insurance would pay for it then. Then decided to tell me I hadn’t paid my previous dental services with my previous dental care so I would have to pay in full. I stated that was fine, and that I wasn’t comfortable here and that I would be going back to my previous dentist to clear things up. I then called my previous dentist and my dental insurance, who both stated that I had payed my bills and that she was out of line for stating what she did. I recently got my bill which my dental insurance did pay for most of the bill. Please go somewhere else if you want good service.

Fantastic experience: Have been terrified of going to the dentist since I was a kid but some things can only be postponed for so long… Broke a front tooth on a Monday night, called Citrus Heights Dental first thing Tuesday morning, was seen that afternoon. Staff were nice- in that kinda strange, overly solicitous, slightly scary way medical staff can be when they’re trying to convince you everything’s going to be “juuust fine.” Lots of x-rays, a pretty thorough exam, then a visit from the Dentist. There are not enough superlatives in my vocabulary to express how pleased I was with the experience. Quite thorough in explaining what needed to be done (a lot), helped prioritize the “gotta do this now” stuff and was nice - in the normal kinda way. Then followed quick work by the young man introduced as the resident artist, sculpting a temporary fix for the broken front tooth. Close to perfect- very close. I’m pretty sure I’ll be putting someone’s child through college. That said - their prices are more than competitive. Their location in a strip mall, next to a grocery store, is the only, even slightly negative I’d note. I’ll be spending a chunk of my free time the next couple of months at Citrus Heights Dental. Fantastic experience: Just went in for regular cleaning. Jay was very gentle and thorough, and he even complimented me on taking good care of my teeth and gums! That felt very nice.
