Fantastic experience: The place was amazing and the staff were extremely patient and respectful . I drove two hours and was very tired but soon as I got there, it was some hot ready to make coffee. Highly recommended 10/10 .

Fantastic experience: Anastasia Kelly and Dr Adams were both amazing today. My daughter was kept comfortable and the service was excellent. Not to mention, the facilities are amazingly kid friendly with plenty of toys and fun activities to keep them occupied. They even have a playground!! Will certainly be back.

Fantastic experience: Today was my grandsons 1st dental appointment. My oldest has severe autism & is nonverbal. Jennifer was their hygienist & she was amazing!! She was SO patient & even took us to a private room where the door could be closed so he wouldn’t be overstimulated. She was SO kind & SO knowledgeable. Dr. Jones was equally as wonderful! I know my boys won’t dread going to the dentist now. Their entire staff that we encountered was so friendly. Their place was spotless & bright! The waiting room was made fun for the children. I would recommend them to anyone!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely the Best Pediatric Dental Office! We had such a wonderful experience at Shelby pediatric dentistry! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and at ease. The waiting area was bright, clean, and filled with fun toys, and books that kept my child entertained before the appointment. And my daughter was given the opportunity to choose a toy from a large supply after our visit.

Fantastic experience: My 3 youngest children have all gone to Shelby Pediatric and have always had great experiences. Scheduling is easy, the waiting room is geared for kids of all ages and the staff is top notch. Highly recommend SPD.

Fantastic experience: I usually don’t do reviews but this was the first time I took all four of my kids in at the same time and I appreciate everyone’s help for everything to go so smoothly. I had a difficult child at the end and the nurse was so sweet and very very very patient with all of my kids that she made the experience so much better. At the end of the day, my son Kayden ended up relaxing thanks to her patience and sweet choice of words so I really appreciate that. From the moment I came in and I addressed my concern to the front desk, I appriciate her too. Thank you all for the team work!

My little one is on the spectrum and her very first visit at another facility, I felt was traumatizing for her. This experience was a huge difference from the other facility. She actually was comfortable enough to open her mouth on her own. The entire staff are Godsend!!

Fantastic experience: This place is 20/10! So impressive. The design is all about the kids and it truly helps the experience. Everything is FUN. The staff are so sweet. They explained everything my my 5yo and made her feel so comfortable. She got to look forward to every next step. The last thing she was thinking about is how awkward or scary this could be. Stickers! Balloon animals! Cartoons! A toy after every visit. I can’t say enough good things. Staff was amazing too. Again 20 out of 10, highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: They are always incredible with my kids. I have one toddler who loves to go visit “his friends” at the dentist. And I have one child with ASD that always feels comfortable and safe with the whole team. He is never scared to see the dentist because they take such great care of him and explain everything they are doing while cleaning his teeth. I have 4 kids have appointments today and it was only 45 for all of them start to finish, including picking out their prizes and rescheduling appointments. Amazing!

Fantastic experience: Had a wonderful experience today. Been coming here with my kids for 10 years. All three of my kids went today, was in and out, I love the waiting room for the kids, they absolutely enjoyed it, everyone was so nice and professional. The kids got new toothbrushes, toothpaste, and floss, they also gave them a stickers and a free toy at the very end. We also went over to the little park that is attached to it as well. Love this place ! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have an 8 year old autistic son and he had his tongue tie fixed and a few baby teeth pulled for braces. They fixed a cavity and a did sealant treatment. The doctor was very fast patient and calming with my son. He started off the procedure with a prayer for my son which was very sweet. The people here are amazing patient and wonderful. They were so great with my son, and the whole experience I have been super worried about went well.

Fantastic experience: We LOVE Shelby Pediatrics. We previously used another dentist and my daughter was terrified. She was at ease the whole time at her appointment with SPD. The doctor explained everything and made me feel so comfortable.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Baxter and his team were amazing! They were so friendly and explained everything in detail and even worked in the procedures needed while we were there since we had a decent drive home. We will absolutely be using them again if any of the kids need anything done.

Fantastic experience: Shelby Pediatric Dentistry is fantastic! My son is 4 and had his first-ever appointment yesterday. He was very stressed about it, but everyone was patient and kind. No one made me feel like a failure when they found he had cavities. Instead, they gave me practical advice and suggestions to help improve his dental health. I HIGHLY recommend!!

Fantastic experience: LOVE this place for my kids. The amenities are super cool, like coffee for mom and a playhouse and playground for kids. Also stickers and a price tower to pick from afterwards. They’ve outdone themselves to make this a positive experience for kids. My kids are the loud protestors when it comes to the cleaning and dentist check, but they’ve never made me feel bad for it. They’re very patient with the kids.

The atmosphere is so welcoming & there’s hardly ever a wait & the rare occasion there is, it’s only a few minutes before being called right back! Fantastic experience: We had a stellar experience with Dr. Trego and her assistant. My daughter was initially anxious at her visit, but they were so patient with her. The explained everything to her in a way she could understand which made her feel comfortable enough for them to work. Thank you guys for giving her a chance to show that she could get dental work done during her office visit and for giving me dental plan options.

Positive experience: I have went back and forth on leaving this review and finally decided today that the office needs to be made aware of the situation. I've brought my son for every dentist appointment he's ever had here. He's always had really good visits. I never even considered going elsewhere until this most recent visit. The Dental assistant we got was treating my son poorly. It started with the X-ray. She would go to put the spacer in his mouth without any heads up or communication and then get mad and confused when he would gag. I've never seen anyone more oblivious on how to work with children. It honestly got worse from there. She just kept being snippy with him despite his really chill behavior. It's almost like she wanted him to have some weirdly advanced dental experience and just KNOW exactly what to do and when. I've decided not to include her name but I did make a mental note of it because if we do return I will have to request she does not work with him. It's my belief she shouldn't be working with kids at all. Everyone else there seems to understand that you need a gentle spirit to work with children.

Fantastic experience: My little girl was worried about going to the dentist but all the staff at Shelby Peds made her feel right at home. Super clean environment. It is very welcoming and fun for kids of all ages. We will definitely be using them from now on.

Fantastic experience: Shelby Pediatric has been the best Pediatric Dentist that my kids have had thus far. The hygienists and dentist easily connects with children of all ages. In addition, all staff members are patient and accommodating when working with nervous little ones. I would definitely recommend them if you are in the Shelby County area.

Fantastic experience: We had a very friendly and helpful front desk lady check us in this time. As always this is a super fun and clean office, with lots of games and neat prizes for the kids. The staff is friendly and the wait time is almost non existent. They operate like a well oiled machine getting you in and out quickly. So thankful for this office and their mission. We also love the different cultures that are represented throughout the office. Just overall great people here and a wonderful experience!

Fantastic experience: We are incredibly thankful for Dr. Baxter and Ms. Megan. We had a true dentist emergency on a Sunday and Dr. Baxter/Ms. Megan came in to see us immediately. He was thorough, kind, and educated us on the best choices to save my kiddo's front tooth. Since we have been in, he has answered phone calls with questions and has been so helpful in our recovery process.

Fantastic experience: My baby was hurting for a few weeks and long story short she’s not in any pain anymore! They solved the problem that day in the matter of minutes, same day surgery or we could come back, the staff is so sweet and very caring with my children!

Fantastic experience: My daughter loves to go to this amazing place When she has appointment for a check up at this kids dentist she just can’t wait. Not only do they treat the kids like family and spoiled them with a surprise, the parents gets the same treatment. I love their coffee machine.
