Negative experience: Adult exam went great, exam for my 8 year old went great. My son may need a pulpectomy and they don't carry pediatric size crowns. They referred him out to a pediatric dentist that doesn't accept any insurance. Everything will be billed out of network and will require an $85 exam fee. Very disappointed at this office for pediatrics.

Fantastic experience: I had been waiting for the best hygienist Elana to clean my teeth. She is caring and compassionate and truly loves what she does. She explained in detail what she saw in the X-rays. She examined my teeth and gums providing her honest feedback. She explained thoroughly what she was going to do and asked frequently if I was doing all right during the cleaning. She answered all my questions to my full satisfaction. Thank you Elana for your kindness and you should get a raise and will see you in my regular cleanings. As Always satisfied with hygienist Elana. Glad she is now full time. Way to Go Elana. I was pleased with Dr. Madhyani he made room for me to get my crown same schedule. Glad because it could have gotten really bad had I waited. I didn’t feel pain, Shakira assistant was knowledgeable and honest. Thank you to all you are the best at what you do.

Positive experience: I had a great experience with the dental care team itself. The dentist was incredibly detail-oriented and attentive throughout my visit. They showed a lot of patience when the anesthesia wasn’t taking effect right away, and made sure I was fully numb before proceeding—even if it meant giving multiple injections. I really appreciated their focus on my comfort and care. However, there’s definitely room for improvement at the front desk. During my first visit, the staff member at checkout seemed disinterested, didn’t smile, and made the process feel more like a chore than a customer service interaction. On my next visit, I was told I’d receive a quote via email for my next “to do” for making some improvements to my dental, but it was never sent. I understood the time when I left was 6:12 PM however I had to call the office the following day because by 3 PM I still hadn’t received the email. Only to find out they didn’t have my email on file. A simple phone call could’ve resolved that, but unfortunately, the follow-through just wasn’t there. Overall, I’d highly recommend the dental team for their skill and attentiveness, but the front desk experience could use some work to match the high standard of care provided by the clinical staff.!

Fantastic experience: I visited the clinic due to a dental emergency. The doctor Jorge clearly explained what the problem was and the possible solutions. I was able to decide how to proceed, and everything was handled in a professional and caring manner. He resolved the issue efficiently. I returned for a follow-up to make sure everything was fine. The staff was kind and professional throughout. They made me feel confident and reassured that the problem would be properly addressed — and it was. I’m very satisfied and would definitely recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: Stroke of luck to find a bunch of girls that are professional, gentle and caring. Even had patience for this old guy and that's saying something. The Dentist Natalie DMD and her assistant Ade. were top notch in their skills. Gone are the days of having to go to a specialist!! This lady does it all. Root canal plus prep for crown in one sitting. Prices are very good. I'm hooked. Year later and still best care another crown for me. Fixed me up on a Sunday!!!! Natalie and Sarah top notch!! This has been a journey to say the least. Expanding on original reviews. Once again excellent care and professionalism on 7/21/25. Got a major problem this time. But I still will not go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Today I was in for my 6 month cleaning. I love the friendly staff at the front desk and they are helpful and treat me like I matter to them. The dental hygienist is friendly and gentle in her work on me and I appreciate her very much. The doctor came in and gave me options for my treatment and with no pressure and left the decision up to me which I very much appreciated. I work during the week and I really like they have Sunday appointments. Checkout was fast and very efficient. The whole office is friendly and treat me with respect and genuine care. Fantastic experience: As a complete new patient I called on a Saturday morning and asked for help in repairing a front tooth which had suffered damage. Without question they took me in within the hour and did an EXCELLENT job of repairing the tooth with a very reasonable cost. Treated like a king and the job was an 11 out of 10. Not only are they open on Saturdays but Sunday as well and until 7pm. Very impressed

Fantastic experience: I went to South Bradenton Dental for a hygiene appointment. I had an incredible appointment with Jennifer who I cannot compliment enough on her skills. The office atmosphere was just astounding . It was welcoming, clean, and comfortable. As soon as you walk in the door, you were greeted with a smile, and you are already in the system. The staff’s attitude is just wonderful and Dr. Mario is the dentist I have been searching for. I had met him in another office and actually left because he was no longer there. I was given dental options for the near future of which I was already aware of, but it was not pushed on me so to speak. I plan on scheduling the procedure most likely before my next appointment in December. My experience with this practice was just perfect and beyond what I expected. Before I left I was taken to the front desk with Jennifer and the where they are just so friendly and kind. It was the kind of appointment that was actually fun. My experience there was an extremely positive one and I’m looking forward to go back. I highly recommend this office to other people looking for quality dental care without the pressure of dentistry being forced on you. Thank you for an amazing experience and I will see you all soon.

Negative experience: Everyone was nice and helpful and pretty quick but, their team lacks communication and consistency. I was very clearly just another nameless patient to the place. I took and appt last week because I had some pain. I told over the phone I could have opiates of any kind. After the first appointment they gave me zero answers/explanation why I was feeling pain and instead suggested I remove my wisdom teeth. I reminded every person I talked to "no opiates" and Dr. G said we would use nitrous oxide to help with any pain/nerves. I arrived Tuesday for extraction and they took the same X-rays for a second time. I asked when they were going to start the nitrous oxide but the nurse said it wasn't on my chart plus both in bottles/systems were being used so the Dentist try moving forward without it. I insisted we reschedule when the nitrous would be available. Extraction was rescheduled the next afternoon. I remind everyone "no opiates". The Nitrous quits working after the first hour and the Dr says "you don't need it, you'll be fine". Once the they finally finish removing the second tooth, they send me on my way with 3 prescriptions. 1 for Antibiotics, 1 for ibuprofen and 1 for OPIATE PAIN KILLERS. I called to explain the mistake and the Dr told me to just use the ibuprofen and I'd be fine. They were all nice enough but the Dentist didn't give a shit about me and in turn a lot of the staff doesn't either for no other reason besides how little time is spent with each patient. After 3 visits repeatedly telling every person I met "no opiates" and then they STILL gave me a script for opiates and now they refuse to fix it? Sorry to say, I'm absolutely not going back.

Fantastic experience: I called in on a Monday morning with a dental emergency, and asked if there was any way they could fit me in. To my surprise, they got me in immediately. The front desk team is superb. CC and Traci got me taken care of up front, then Dr. Rohan and Alicia took excellent care of me in the back for my wisdom tooth extraction. Then, Darvi helped me get my prescriptions filled at the pharmacy, even after they were already called in (Yes, she took that extra step!) This was honestly a wonderful experience, and I’m excited to schedule a follow up with this amazing staff!!

Fantastic experience: I woke up with excruciating pain in a bridge i had 8 years prior. I found South Bradenton Dental Care on Google search and it had good reviews. I called and got an appointment within 1 hour. They worked with my insurance removed my bridge did a root canal and put in a temporary Bridge all the same day. They were very professional and very concerned about my comfort and did everything they could to make sure it was a painless experience. I would definitely recommend if you need emergency Dentistry.

Negative experience: I visited South Bradenton Dental today for a routine cleaning, and unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the experience. I wasn't informed until after the cleaning that my insurance wasn’t covered, and I was left with a $216 bill. This lack of transparency feels misleading, and I wasn’t given any heads-up before the procedure. On top of that, the service itself felt rushed and incomplete. There was no proper exam—no X-rays, no checking of my teeth pocket sizes, nothing beyond the cleaning itself. It honestly felt like they just wanted to get me in and out without providing the comprehensive care I expected, especially given my history and the trust I placed in them. As someone who takes good care of their teeth, this was an incredibly frustrating experience. I came back here thinking I could trust the clinic after an issue I had last year, but now I’m rethinking that decision. I won't be returning.

Fantastic experience: I am getting some pretty extensive work done. That includes implants! The receptionist Tracy us so kind from my first call she listened to my concerns and my needs. Dr. Plumley is the best hands down her cares I mean actually cares about his patients. I absolutely recommend this office. We still have a way to go, I just received my implants he did an amazing job. Made sure I was ok all the way through I did not get my assistants name but she was great also! Fantastic experience: I am very happy with South Bradenton Dental Care. They were able to give my 94 year old mother a same day appointment. Everything went great, x-rays & exam. Dr Platt was super nice, she ended up prescribing my mother an antibiotic. It is good to have my mother established with a dentist for any future issues.

I was very disappointed with two other dental offices that I visited, so fortunately when I discovered South Bradenton Dental Care, I was very pleased. Fantastic experience: Was greeted quickly & had no wait for my scheduled appointment. Everything was explained thoroughly & quickly. Pictures & X-rays were taken. Teeth cleaning was painless while explaining all procedures done. Dr came in & examined all teeth then covered both the good & bad along what needed to be done to correct issues following exam. A detailed report explained all issues & costs. I was very impressed with my appointment & concern shown today. I highly recommend this provider. They have tried to accommodate our schedule & it was great today after I had a crown installed they could repair an old filling immediately after while in our 2024 year.

Elena was so awesome that after listening to my love of marine life, she put salt water fish on the display on the ceiling. That made me laugh and feel like I couldn't have been in a better place. Fantastic experience: I had a problematic root canal due to some unique anatomy that made my root canal not so routine. Dr. Platt was amazing fixed my root canal and Created a bridge for me and between Dr. Platt, Shakira, and Nichole I have a perfectly fitting pain-free bridge. I recommend these women highly. While you’re in the chair, you get to watch TV and they have a TV on the ceiling!! I will say I scheduled a Cleaning with a hygienist, I have not met yet, but I have faith that she will be great as well! I am very sensitive to pain in my mouth and these women were very considerate of that and very professional. Again, I highly recommend South Bradenton dental care. If you’re somebody who is avoiding going to the dentist because you’re afraid of the pain or afraid of bad news, trust me you won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: Very happy with the care I received at South River Dental. Very professional staff. Very thorough examination. I like that they are open 7 days a week. My husband had a dental emergency Christmas week and they were the only office I could find that 1) answered the phone the Friday after Christmas 2) was able to see him the next day on a Saturday. Now they have both my and my husband’s business.

They are nice to you when you come in you pay $110 for x-rays in an exam then they try to tell you you have a $4,000 bill for your teeth then it goes down to 1900 then to pull a tooth is $408 each tooth really I thought they said they had a payment plan but they don't be aware of these people they scam you to get your $110 I am very very disappointed it was a waste of money when I needed two teeth just to be pulled and I do not have that kind of money so now I have to go to the health department or I will have to go to turning points they actually said that to me because I stopped the person in the middle of his sales pitch and said I do not have this kind of money he said well you can go to turning points but when you walk in the door there all happy to help you and tell you they're going to get you out of pain but it'll cost you an arm and a leg beware do not go here these people are just liars.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Plumley is a very caring and compassionate dentist. We first met him at a big dental practice in St. Petersburg and were very upset when he was no longer practicing there. We were extremely happy to find he was in a private practice in Bradenton and now drive 45 miles for our dental needs. The practice now has weekend hours which is amazing for those of us working during the week. Office staff is very friendly, helpful and easy to work with. We will continue to make the commute to see our favorite dentist!
